This has become my go-to wig. I have thick natural hair. I'm not a fan of shiny, fine weaves or wigs because my natural hair doesn't look like that. This wig is PERFECT if you like the yaki texture. It doesn't shed, and it falls into place beautifully right out of the package. I think the model's hair on the package is misleading. It doesn't look like that. If it did, I wouldn't wear it. It actually is a very volumized thick style with loose body curls on the end. I watched a couple YouTube videos about it, and the videos show the wig pretty accurately.Angela

Well, I finally learned my lesson. I cannot purchase clearance items any longer since every time I have, there has been something either wrong with the wig (manufacturing) or something I didn't like and there are no returns. There wasn't anything wrong with this piece. She just had way too much hair and the fibers were so dry they were like straw. It is a beautiful warm color but the density, the permatease and the dry fibers made this difficult to pull off. I thinned it out and tried to tame the permatease but it just didn't work. Plus, the fibers were like doll hair and so that was a dead giveaway. This was the third JR piece and all have pretty dry fibers. Is this normal? I am a first time buyer, trying to figure out what fits and how to wear the wigs. I ordered 3 wigs in this first order, and two of them I can adjust and work with. But "Gwen" has very short hair and it looks nothing like the pictures! I had it on my head for a few seconds and couldn't stand the very short hair with no shape at all. I filled out the return label for "Gwen" but keeping the other two, with medium length hair: "Blushing Beauty" Wig by Gabor | Mono Part GL16/27 and the "Salsa" Wig by Raquel Welch | Large Cap R14/88H Golden Wheat. Those two are a bit large and I need to learn to adjust the tabs in the back, and I also need to figure out from the videos how to "style" them with my fingers so they look good for me. This is a cute summer wig for someone who doesn't want permatese. It's low density. I got 22F16 there is not enough dimension for me but I do feel someone looking for a well made no permatese, low density piece would be very happy with it. I did have lots of thick hair & I like some poof on top.I was going to give it away but it is growing on me using dry shampoo,piece out & hair spray. Even tho it's symmetrical you can achieve a asymmetrical look with some tucking. I have noticed many reviews/comments on various pieces that I feel expectations are often unrealistic. When I saw the color I was a little intimidated by it online but something would not let place this order without getting another Miko in this color. I put her on and did notice quite a bit of shedding more than the other Mikos I've had in the past. I just assumed that with more color the more shedding you will have. I think its a little bit thinner made than the others but I just worked with what I had because honestly I didn't want to send her back because it's that pretty. That didn't stop me from rocking her though. If you are thinking of getting the F2060 GET HER especially with spring being here.This unit in this color is something to brighten up things as it did for me. 🙂StarLuvsBH

At first I shaped and thinned the hair out, but now I feel more comfortable rocking it right out the packaging! I ordered like 3 of these at the same time, and received 2 different hair textures. The original was more of a synthetic feeling, while the second felt more soft and real, kanekelon maybe? I don't have a lot of experience to give better details on texture. But they are both still lovely! I packed, or smushed into suitcase, one of the older, synthetic-feeling, ones to wear in the pool, it was frizzy and needed some tlc, but came out looking (and smelling) fabulous!! Just rinsed out the chlorine in the shower, hung it on the door knob! I ended up liking it better than my "good hair"! 🙂 I would recommend this wig, as long as they keep it in stock, otherwise BACK OFF! haha :)_x000D_ Seriously… I receive compliments from random people now… makes me wonder how my REAL hair be really looking… lolNaturalMa

About the site: I dont think the color ‘swatches' are enough to determine color and they should provide actual full photos of each color. Or at least have a link to a universal color key. I had no idea what T4/27 even means. Can someone explain why don’t they they at least tell you what color the model has on in the photo? About the wig: I ordered several of these because I was unclear about the colors. The T4/27 is mostly a brassy gold / copper color, some dark undertones at the root, but not enough to blend with my dark brown natual hair. In general the curls were not as defined at the photo. It's a lot of hair and I had to shape mine to my face and cut it slightly. Not sure how long it will last (I suspect two weeks with daily wear) before I toss it. I buy synthetic units to quickly change color or to wear under hats.J C.
