I purchased this wig in the honey pecan. I’m a natural dark brunette plus size 23 inch head and this average fit me just fine. The cap is comfortable, natural, soft, and has a nice stretch. This is a great wig if you want hair to stay out of your face in the summer when it’s hot or while you are busy doing things. Absolutely love this wig. Its comfortable to wear for a long period of time, the texture is great so it'll blend in perfectly with your own natural hair. So far I haven't experienced any shedding or loss of hair and I always wash my units when I receive them and the curls bounced back to their amazing fluffy bouncy self. Bought this piece because of the reviews online. They were pretty spot on so far. The curls are very bouncy, pretty, and full. I have only worn her once and received lots of compliments. My only qualm is the amount of hair. I had to do a little thinning before I felt it looked good. But even though there is a lot of hair, the piece is very light weight which has been true to other reviews. I don't use the combs but it has ample head room, big head friendly; and comes with a long comb up front and a smaller one in back along with two adjustable straps, pretty standard these days. I didn't do much fluffing of the curls because one that I cut out, I pulled it loose and separated it. The bouncy curl really pulled out to a loose wave. I won't mind that after a few more wears. The color was spot on to my hair color. I bought a #2. After wearing the half wig, I wish I had gotten the full wig instead. I just think the curls, after they drop or are pulled out, will be nicer on the full wig. It was a great purchase thus far and I do recommend it especially for those that have the creativity to do many styles with a half wig. I actually purchased some #2 braid hair, braided a long section, then used it as a braided head band over the front of the piece. Hopefully I can get some good, long wear out of is but that is TBD. I wore everyday for a couple of weeks when I first got it. Then, one day opened the oven door after pre-heating to 425 degrees and fried the front of the wig. I know better than to do this, but it just slipped my mind. I immediately ordered a replacement. It arrived in about 4 days and I have been enjoying ever since. No more cooking for me!! I ordered the wig in the color of my hair and also have the hair stocking about the same color. The hair is thin and the wefting might show thru if you are trying a color that isn't a close match. Otherwise, it is my new favorite!!
Have been wearing this wig for at least 8 yrs…and have tried many other styles, but this I’s my favorite and I keep returning. Have ordered MANY of this particular wig, and will continue. Am concerned though, that the colors are being clearanced….and hope this doesn’t mean that the style is on it’s way out. Not as much hair on one side, colour was not what I had gotten before though the same number and I was planning on returning them but felt the shipping to return plus the shipping and duty I had already paid was not worth it so decided to donate to a women's group. Later I took another chance after complaining to this site and once again they were definitely not up to the standard of the original wigs. It seems to me the quality control was very poor and that because I didn't like them found myself wearing the old ones though they were showing their age. I needed shampoo and conditioner so thought I'd try one final time. Well these were better than the last four that were terrible but still not anywhere near the same standard as the originals. I can't believe that it's the same company creating them as the hair is so much faker than the originals I would love to purchase the ones I had bought the first while but while these I will have to wear when the old ones are simply worn out but will be searching for another site that possibly has this wig

STYLE: Very natural yaki looking wig style wise. The hairline however needs work. There's nothing natural looking about it. LACE: simi soft and blended with my brown skin perfectly. SIZING: I would say this is small cap. I only put the straps on the 3rd latch and it felt extremely tight and secure. The back however didn't lay down a perfect as the back.
Colour P99J/530. This was my first lace front human hair wig and I'm very pleased with my purchase. She was so soft when she came out of the box, but needed a lot of TLC after the first wear. After conditioning the wig and styling it, it's back to that baby soft feel and it's lasting more than one wear. Mine just looks like it lies flat on my head. It therefore looks more like a wig. I have been ordering my wigs from Wiltshire, but lately I have been disappointed in my choices. I love my True Demure in Shaded Sunkissed Beige! True Demure has lots of layers which are easy to style with your fingers into cute styles with lots of volume. The cap is very comfortable. True Demure is one of those wigs you can throw on, finger style and forget about for the rest of the day. I was a little nervous about the sunkissed beige color as it is a lot lighter than the darker blondes I am used to. Now I love it. I bought this wig as an alternate to the Soft and Subtle so it would look like I striaghtened my hair. The style is straight and classy, can be easily fluffed up for a different look. I used some Jon Renau Piece Out cream to style the side bang to stand up rather than lie flat over my forehead – easy to do and it looks so modern and natural that way. I also can put the hair behind my ears without it causing my ears to stick out because the denier is fine. The wig can also be styled in a half up/half down. The color I have is GL8-10. Well, I finally learned my lesson. I cannot purchase clearance items any longer since every time I have, there has been something either wrong with the wig (manufacturing) or something I didn't like and there are no returns. There wasn't anything wrong with this piece. She just had way too much hair and the fibers were so dry they were like straw. It is a beautiful warm color but the density, the permatease and the dry fibers made this difficult to pull off. I thinned it out and tried to tame the permatease but it just didn't work. Plus, the fibers were like doll hair and so that was a dead giveaway. This was the third JR piece and all have pretty dry fibers. Is this normal? I am a first time buyer, trying to figure out what fits and how to wear the wigs. I ordered 3 wigs in this first order, and two of them I can adjust and work with. But "Gwen" has very short hair and it looks nothing like the pictures! I had it on my head for a few seconds and couldn't stand the very short hair with no shape at all. It looked like a hedgehog, The color is nice, but this wig is too small, too short hair for my plus size figure: Gwen Wig by Jon Renau STRAWBERRY BLONDE AND WARM PLATINUM BLONDE BLENDED & TIPPED W STRAWBERRY BLONDE NAPE (27T613F). In all fairness, I only had it on my head a few seconds and took it off right away, I didn't try to make it look better, afraid to ruin the chance for return. It might be ok for someone else, but at 62 yrs old and plus size figure, that little wig was not even funny! I filled out the return label for "Gwen" but keeping the other two, with medium length hair: "Blushing Beauty" Wig by Gabor | Mono Part GL16/27 and the "Salsa" Wig by Raquel Welch | Large Cap R14/88H Golden Wheat. Those two are a bit large and I need to learn to adjust the tabs in the back, and I also need to figure out from the videos how to "style" them with my fingers so they look good for me. This is a cute summer wig for someone who doesn't want permatese. It's low density. I got 22F16 there is not enough dimension for me but I do feel someone looking for a well made no permatese, low density piece would be very happy with it. I did have lots of thick hair & I like some poof on top.I was going to give it away but it is growing on me using dry shampoo,piece out & hair spray. Even tho it's symmetrical you can achieve a asymmetrical look with some tucking. I have noticed many reviews/comments on various pieces that I feel expectations are often unrealistic. Let's face it we all don't look like the beautiful ladies,Eileen,Marlen or Taz much less the models. I have found often if I think I don't like something if I change my makeup,color I'm wearing wait a few days,wear it around the house,often one I thought I would send back grows on me. Also often they just need a bit of tweaking with a small trim here & there to make it my own. I imagine very few can just take most of them out of the box with INSTANT SUCCESS ! So cute! Ok I am new to all this. Thinning and receding hairline all my life has now led to patches of balding (hereditary). I tried the top wave hair piece but the clips left my scalp red and so sore. So I researched for weeks. I actually purchased Heidi, Rachel and Julianne made by JR. Heidi had weird bangs for me and the permatease in the crown made my little head look too big lol…Rachel so comfy but wayyyy too much hair for me..Julianne I just didn’t like the style on me…but love it on others…Mila! Adorable! I am still In search of the perfect blonde. I got the Laguana blonde . I am a very light natural blonde. However, the roots are still so harsh for me as my roots don’t come in so dark like that so for this reason I mixed in my own bio hair at hairline..but even so…I LOVE IT! Waiting for honey syrup and 24b22 blonde to come in and try them for Fall. The wig cap doesn’t itch, it’s very secure:) I get so many compliments. I did use dry shampoo spray for shininess. It’s beautiful..my hair is not normally this light as the Laguana color is but that’s okay. I will switch it up with a darker blonde Mila for Fall:) I have tried many and I keep coming back to Mila:) p.s. In this picture I blended my own hair in the front and sides as well:)Angie
For anyone deciding between the petite and regular size, here is my experience: my head measurements are 13.5in (average) 21in (petite) and 12.5in (child!). The petite was snug and did not give me the coverage I wanted at the hairline near the ear. The regular was roomier. It gave me the coverage I wanted at the sides of my face, but the ear tabs do rub up against my ears. In this case, I definitely preferred the extra coverage and am willing to live with a slightly too large cap. Very happy with the color, length and style.
Another beautiful wig by John Reneau! The only problem for me is that it’s too much hair, and it wasn’t the right color. I bought it in the Malibu blonde, however it seemed too ashy. I may try it in the Laguna blonde, now that I found my favorite blonde! It will probably work perfect if I have it thinned out a bit. Overall gorgeous waves and length!

I have Alopecia and have worn wigs for about 1 1/2 yrs. The Paradox has been my mainstay wig. I love the texture density of the wig and lacefront/mono. I have gotten at least 6 over this time I have my stylist shorten the back and front a bit. The last one I got was color 811+ a little darker for winter. It was a yummy warm color. I was disappointed to find this wig to have about 1/4 to 1/3 less amt. of hair and the density of the fibers also seemed lighter making the wig lie flat with less body and not was able to style as well. Hoping they are not changing this wig as sometimes they do. Maybe just an odd ball one but have only done exchanges and not returns. ?? so just kept it but not as happy for sure and not an inexpensive wig. I have purchased hair from Vogue before and found their customer service to be stellar. Their representatives are knowledgeable, kind, polite and Very helpful . So my issue regarding the wig has to do with the manufacturer, not Vogue. I have a medical condition that causes me to have to wear my hair. I have purchased many Paradox wigs over the years as it is my go to wig. The amount of hair in the wig has become so little now that it lays flat on the sides of the face and the back having No body making it look like a bad hair day. I do read reviewers writing the same message about the changes in the wigs, lower quality, amount of hair being used so I know it is prevalant . Unfortunately, the consumer has little control. All the companies would have to put pressure on the manufacturers in some way. Perhaps Vogue, being an excellent company could lead the way with this issue?Deneice H.
After literally years of searching for that perfect wig (that would not actually look like a wig), I found Paradox by Gabor. I can honestly say this is the best wig I have ever bought…and I've bought many. With the lace front and part, no one can tell this is a wig. Even my own family has remarked how good it looks, and my closest friends say they can't even tell. It was a bit shiny when taken out of the box, but a healthy dose of powder took care of that. Since the color I got was not rooted, I promptly took care of that by turning the wig inside out and spraying the inside with L'Or�al spray root touch up in brown. That way it looks like you have brown roots even when the wind comes up. Then I used brown touch up powder on the part to further root it a bit. As my final touch, I took tweezers and pulled one hair at a time from the "part" to give it even a more realistic look. The results were fantastic…. I don't feel at all self conscious about going out and having anyone think it's not my own hair. So happy with this fantastic, beautiful wig!!!

When I saw a picture of this wig, I thought to myself "finally!" This is the style I have been looking for for a while, short, straight, not too much hair, an Ignite but with a longer back. Unfortunately, this wig has a very small cap. It cannot possibly be average size. Average size fits usually lose on my head and this wig I could barely squeeze on. Secondly, it has no lace front. I am too used by now to wearing a lace front monofilament to feel comfortable wearing a wig without. I guess this is what you get for the price. The color and the fibers were great, but I had to return mainly because the cap was far too small.Mimi
The biggest problem I found with this wig was the fit. Average was too big, but petite felt too small. I have a Goldilocks size head and I found the ear tabs on the petite were way too high on my temples, but the front and back fit ok. I bought it on sale and thought I would take a risk even if it wasn’t perfect (and it’s not). The hair itself is good quality and appears to be well made and the style is very cute. I only wish there was a better way to buy wigs other than to pay upfront for an online item, only to find out it’s not quite right. It seems if you can try on hairstyles virtually, there should be a way to try on wigs virtually. If you could upload a photo or enter the dimensions of your head and then try on virtually, you can get an idea of where the ear tabs will fall, for example or how long the bangs will be. It would save a lot of time and money on returns. Eventually, someone will invent it, but until then, buying wigs online is a crapshoot. I prefer to buy locally, however most wig shops don’t carry a very large variety and if you buy the same wig through a wig shop, it will cost double.Vee B.
-1 star for how easily it tangles and sheds; I recommend wearing the hair down over updos because of it -1 star for how chunky highlights are at the part which are unconcealable +1 star for cap and hairline In my pics, I have not plucked the hairline, but I have straightened the wig and rearranged the part. The cap on this wig is definitely better quality than my cheaper amazon wigs (I like that it has velcro straps), but the hair itself both tangles and comes out more easily than my cheapy $30-50 wigs, which is unfortunate. I'd recommend not even bothering to try to do a half updo with this wig, which I'm personally disappointed by but that's okay, it looks good down. The lace came pre-cut, not sure if it was supposed to, but it fits perfectly and blends right into my pale skin, which is great. Hairline is great, pretty natural looking. I ordered the color FS4/33/30A Midnight Cocoa – the highlights are so chunky right up into the part (see pics). Doesn't matter which way you part it, you have giant stripes in your hair with this color (not too noticeable from straight on or from the side but I disapprove still haha). So I would NOT recommend the colors with highlights like this one, just get a solid color. So overall, I wish I got a different color, but that's on me. Hi, I have been purchasing this Shannon wig for 8yrs now and have "Never" been dis-appointed! The Shannon wig is not only durable for daily wear and holds up very well wash after was it also, is my go to wig for a quick updo for special occasions!!! My color of choice is Wheat Rooted because I have fair skin and green eyes and boy does this rooted color make my eyes pop!!! For some reason unknown to doctors when I was just 24yrs old I lost all my hair over a span of 8 months and battling cervical cancer as well! As a young woman I was devastated and experiencing depression, chemo was brutal to say the least. I had a young family to raise and had to hold down a high pressure job where personal appearances mattered!!! So needless to say I was forced into buying those old fashioned bulky and ugly wigs. Then came the more natural looking wigs that were way over priced. All I can say is thank you Wig.com and Paula Young for making such durable cute and chic looking wigs at such affordable prices!!! I also, have purchased Avery wig and Nola wig and I'm currently deciding to purchase the new Sloane wig (if you haven't checked out any of these wigs, please do so)!!! The "Special Bonus" is all of these wigs are "Versa Fiber Wigs" as well as Heat Friendly. This is key to all of the wigs I have mentioned being extremely durable shampoo after shampoo & conditioner to holding up so well!!! You can stick your head near the oven when cooking, take a walk on a hot and or humid day, sunbathe etc..etc and all of these wigs will hold up to all of what I just mentioned! Of course don't forget to purchase the correct wig shampoo, wig spray conditioner and wig spray found on both Wig.com and Paula Young. These accessories are really very important for proper wig care!!! Also, if you can afford it please splurge on a good wig stand and wig travel case, which are also found on Wig com. I’ve worn Shannon for many years and I love it! I’ve tried other styles, I always go back to my favorite, Shannon. I get compliments all the time! I’ve had beautician friends that were shocked when I told them I had a wig on! They fry very quickly and are so easy to style.
