I'm on about my 5th wig since I lost my hair last year to alopecia. I used to have really long blonde, curly hair that I got compliments on daily. This made it hard to deal with going totally bald. I was using a $400 synthetic wig recently and it was okay, but didn't look like me and got yucky from the heat on my neck. I finally splurged on this one when I realized it would be at least another year before I'd have enough hair to do something different. I seriously can't say enough good things about this wig; it makes me look 10 years younger than the other one I had. I didn't like it at first though, it was all thin and straight. I sprayed it down with water and let it dry naturally to get some volume. Then I curled it just a little to ad more volume. Now I LOVE it. Looks so natural and pretty. I washed it for the 1st time using your line of hair care and it was so frizzy after I was done blow drying it. I’ve worn this Sienna wig every day for over months now. I shampoo and deep condition 2-3 times a month and the hair still feels very soft and smooth (not matting). After wearing synthetic wigs for 40 yrs, I will only wear HH from now on. I personally do not find this particular wig time consuming to style or care for. While I did so for the photo, I rarely use a curling iron or blow dryer on it (just air dry and gently comb) and have never trimmed this wig or taken it to a salon. The color is holding up well and not fading. About twice a week I pour a very small amt of Argan oil into my palms and smooth it into the hair to keep it from drying out. With spring/summer approaching, I just purchased a new Sienna and will wear my current one for outdoor activities (more heat/sweat = add’l stress on fibers). This is the second Alexandra petite hand tied wig I've purchased. The first one lasted 18 months. It lost more hair on the right side than the left for some reason but still made it 18 months. I've been wearing the current wig 3 weeks and I have serious doubts that it will last 6 months. It's VERY thin all over, thinner on the right side than the left, and I fear that the base will show at the crown soon because its so thin. Its losing quite a bit of hair daily. I wore this wig from October 2015 through May 2016 on a full-time basis. I wrote a review and wanted to update it. I replaced this wig with another one exactly like it as I like it. I received a full 8 months of wear from the wig. I replaced it as the mono top had lost enough hair that I needed to do comb-overs in some areas. Otherwise there was no hair loss on the back and sides. I believe the hair loss in the mono top may have been partially caused by using heat roller claw holders and securing them too tightly. I will find out on the new one as I do not use the claw holders anymore on top. I just let gravity hold the rollers in place and not too tightly. I ordered color 131/30 which is a beautiful auburn. The color as with any red fades fast and I had to dye the wig about every 2 1/2 to 3 months. I did it myself with color from Sallys beauty supply – Ion Color Brilliance Liquid – 2 oz of 8G-8.3 Light Golden Blonde 1/2 oz. of 8RC-8.4 light copper blonde mixed with 2 1/2 ounces of sensitive scalp 20 developer – I let it process 40 minutes then rinsed washed and conditioned. It comes out as close as I could get to the original color. I use Its a 10 Miracle Shampoo and the mask when I wash it. After it air dries a bit spray it with Jon Renau Argan Smooth Treatment Mist. I have not tried Jon Renau shampoo and conditioner as yet. I use the Its a 10 Miracle products on my own hair so it is at hand. I use the Argan Treatment Mist pretty much daily in small amountsmarie

I had to return the bangs. Very pretty color. Nice density. Not too thick. Unfortunately I find that many clip on bangs & wigs with bangs dont look realistic. The bangs start too far back on the wig or topper. The box came in disarray. It look like the journey to me at some point they fell out of the box and somebody tried to put them back in. Box looked like my head on a bad hair day.Stephanie B.
It took a while to figure out the right color, but Raquel Welch 14/25 is perfect. I was concerned that a synthetic wig would look fake, but my critics (family) were very happy that it looks exactly like the hair I (used to) have only much thicker. I bought two different wigs, two toppers (one lighter to match my summer hair), and two faux fringes and I think I'm in good shape for awhile. Except that I really like the reddish blonde color…!
I've lost some hair due to alopecia. Wigs are too much for me. These R.W. toppers are perfect; texture, volume & length! I have several, and they are so light-weight & natural looking, I forget I'm wearing them & none knows I have added hair. Wish they would start making them in varied colors like shaded & rooted. That would be cool. A real value. Wigstudio1 specials are great, too.
