My mom gave Solana to me, because she wasn’t really feeling the color on her. Hair is shedding as I unpack it from original package. Ends and curls are frizzy and does not look as shown on website. I called I was told it will cost me about $10 to exchange. Why? I actually have this wig in multiple colors. This brand is very cheap but I love it. I usually have to do some plucking of it before wearing it but it’s totally worth it for the price and the feel. I was so excited to receive this and try something new. I've been wearing Reese and Sky for a few years now, but wanted to switch it up a bit. I was so disappointed when I saw this. First, it looked like doll hair and the color was AWFUL! I normally wear either Irish Spice or Bronzed Brown. I ordered R3025S+ this time for a "highlighted" look, boy was I wrong. It looked like carrot orange. Well, lesson learned, stick with old faithful.Catherine I.
I loved the look of this wig but was hesitant to buy because of all of the bad reviews. There really are no wigs that look great right out of the box. All wigs need some sort of help. Here’s what I recommend when getting a new wig: take it out of the box and give it a good shake. Put it on and adjust the fit, ear tabs, and general placement. Finger comb it into place and then walk away. Stay away from any mirrors for at least 30 minutes or longer and don’t mess with it. This is important because when you do look in the mirror again you have “fresh eyes”. It will be easier to be more objective and not just reactive. At this point you can focus on what you do and don’t like and determine if the don’t likes are ‘fixable’. Change the part if needed, if there is too much poof, wet it down and finger comb. Don’t do any permanent modifications until you decide if you want to keep it. But give yourself time to evaluate the wig properly. For this wig, I wet the top, used my fingers to make a deep side part sweeping the bangs across my forehead and flattened down some of the poofiness on the top then left it alone to dry. I’m so happy I didn’t let the bad reviews discourage me. She’s a cute, sassy wig!jnut
I am 68 and have been wearing wigs pixie wigs for many years, but want a new wig with a little more fullness. I absolutely love this new wig and would recommend it to anyone. Unlike many of the other wigs that do not even resemble the pictures of the wig they purchased, this one looks exactly like the pictures on QVC. I only have one small complaint. The Med Red/Ginger is NOT red. It is more like a light brown with a little bit of red in it. I ordered two of these wig styles. I wore the gray one to a mother's day brunch. As I was standing by my car, a lady called out Madia as she was passing by in her car. Since this wig was on sale, I cannot return it. The unfortunate thing is that I did opt for calling the help desk, pointing out that one reviewer stated that the wig was “much darker” than the picture. That reviewer was right! The wig is much darker; in fact, the back is absolutely black. The blond/light color pieces are very minimal. Extremely disappointed! Since the help desk doesn’t actually have product information, why are they there? Why did she tell me “the other reviewer probably ordered the wrong wig.” Not so! I will never order anything else from a company that poorly equips the people who answer your phone. And, if that picture is representative, you really don’t care what people are paying you for. I have chin length, silver-gray hair with a medium curl, and got this wig in the gradient gray color to wear when I am having a bad hair day, so it would match as closely as I could get it. That lace front edge is sooo realistic looking, people won't be able to tell it's a wig at all! The variation in colors also make it look very realistic. The overall cap size is very generous, so I don't feel I have to tug on it. Feels very secure. It came pretty tightly curled and squashed, but I gave it a good brushing with a very wide toothed brush, and a good shake, and it's perfect! I am over the moon about this wig! I was excited in anticipation of receiving this wig as I am currently undergoing chemotherapy and have been looking for cute & affordable wigs to wear during this time. While the style of this wig is very nice/cute, I was very disappointed with the color. I ordered Golden Brown/Auburn Highlights. I expected a lighter shade of brown with red/auburn highlights; however, the wig received looked like a very dark brown with golden blonde highlights. I returned the wig thinking the wrong color wig was packed in the box. I received the replacement wig and discovered the same issue…wig color was a very dark brown (not golden brown) with golden blonde highlights (no where resembling red/auburn highlights). Thus, the reason I gave this review 2 stars. I have returned both wigs for a refund.

Hello- its like this, Im a dude, but my hair type takes a little while to grow out for my hair length preference. And my hair type is very thick stranded so its often too hot and thick in the warmer season months – making a bit of a problem for comfort for myself. *So, I ordered this wig and the lace front was quick and easy to trim which omitted a little shedding of a few tiny cut off strands of hair.
