I bought this wig because it was a synthetic/ human hair blend and I thought it would last longer than a regular synthetic wig but boy was I wrong. I started wearing this wig on January 17th 2022 and it didn't even last a month before the nape started getting frizzy and sticking up in the back ( total give away that your wearing a wig) I really had high hopes for this one but was horribly disappointed! The hair on the top of the wig is lovely but Envy put cheap, horrible synthetic hair at the nape. You would think they would have learned a few things by now & would put human hair at the nape. This Emma wig didn't even last as long as a regular synthetic and was much more expensive. Take it from me ladies, I have been wearing wigs every day for the last 6 years and this wig is one of the worst I have ever had…save your money and just buy a synthetic wig.Laura S.
My bio hair is very curly, so when I saw Kaitlyn I knew I had to try her out. The trouble with this style is that the curl pattern/tightness/density DOES vary from piece to piece, so if you don't like the piece you receive, send it back for a different one. I wish I could have done that with mine – it was likely a return, and I can see why: the curls are loose and droopy and sad and sporadic. Sadly, it's a closeout item, so I'm stuck with my decision. (Absolutely NO shade to WigStudio1 – they're fabulous. This is all on me.) I'm going to wash her and see if that will perk up the curl pattern, and if it doesn't, there's always headbands! Just go into your purchase knowing you may not get the wig of your dreams on the first try. Stays on perfect with a velvet wig grip. Love the natural looking curls, the windblown messy look, and the sort of ***** nature of this wig. The short pixie back is a little different than what I’m used to since I’ve never had a wig that is short in the back and long on top. It takes a little getting used to. Overall I can say it’s comfortable, looks natural, and is super fun. Not sure I would do this as an every day wig but with these curly wigs they are great for a fun night out, a weekend ball game, that kind of thing. I purchased my Dakota in the caramel brown which I thought was absolutely gorgeous on Heather in her color spotlight youtube video. The color IS beautifully striking, the overall style is sleek and just what I was hoping for; no permatease with a functional lakefront. This is why I gave only 3 stars: the fibers, after only 2 wears, has frizzed up as if it were 2 months old! I use simply stylin silicone spray on all my wigs, I take excellent care of my wigs and never had a wig where the fibers went south so quickly, they also tangled more than the average, I'm really heartbroken about this with when I had such high hopes.Susan M.
When I first saw Dakota I passed right by her! The promo photo is lovely but I couldn’t get past the color (silly I know). Since I’m new to wigs I’m still learning so much, and I’ve thing for me is that I like some length and I’m not a permatease fan. After watching a few reviews I went for it. Of course I’m like all of you – I practically ripped it out of the delivery persons hands and ripped open the package! Right out of the box I was in love. The cap felt snuggly but didn’t strangle my brain. The wig’s low density and natural movement made me so happy. I practiced tucking it behind my ear – and it worked. I was a fail on the pony tail but believe a 3/4 tail with the nape fringe will help with the cap/weft exposure issue (still need to try that.) It is so light on my head I forgot I was wearing it. After a few weeks wear I will note it does shed a bit. Also I ordered the Toffee LR. This wig would be almost perfect as a rooted wig but as long rooted I think it started to make the length look a bit unrealistic. I would probably not order LR again; that’s just me. The Toffee color is a good fit for me but I will note the hair seems a bit shiny to me. I’ve done all the “Heather” things and internet advice to tamp down the shine but it’s still pretty strong — but don’t despair I wear it anyway. And get compliments, which tells me it’s only shiny to my eye not biohair folks. It washed pretty well, and so far it’s not frizzing up like I expected due to the length. I know it will since all synthetics head down that road, but for now I’m enjoying the lightweight feel for summer while also getting to swing my head around too. My out of the box photo – heaven forbid with no makeup, shows how casual Dakota is, and in my opinion, is not limited to any age it color. At 56 I do worry about venturing outside the societal boundaries for hair, but Dakota really is s choice I think anyone should consider if looking for a longer length wig, that has great movement, minds your styling brush’s direction, and is very flattering too. I’m no wig expert, but I do wear one nearly everyday, and I like Dakota.Janet W.

I wanted to like this wig so much but it just doesn't work for me. The bangs are so heavy and still hang in my face despite taking to it with a steamer. The overall top layer of the piece is very heavy and looks so wiggy. My biggest complaint with Envy wigs is they have no attention to detail when it comes to hiding seams and the lace is very scratchy. The one thing Envy wigs do have going for them is the fibre is very realistic. So depending on your priorities this may or may not be the right piece for you.
I’ve been wearing Maya for two years during the Spring and Summer. Fall and Winter, I wear Brianna, also by Envy. What I’ve noticed about Maya, is that it’s definitely not as curly as pictured, rather, it’s more of a beach wave only. This is okay with me and it might be for you too; the only thing I can imagine is maybe I’ve not gotten a quality batch? If this is their new trend, I wouldn’t want you to be disappointed with the lack of curl.
This is a pic of me, immediately after opening the box containing my new wig Brooke! This hair is ready to wear! My only concern is that it’s SO long, that I know, a synthetic like this will end up frizzing & snarling at the ends. So, my thought was to have it cut down, so it’s still long, but not THIS long. I’ve been searching for anyone willing to cut a wig for 10 years, & haven’t found anyone in my city that would do so. For now, I’m wearing her as she is. This color is the lighter red, which is the closest I can get to my beloved former color by Raquel Welsh, Glazed Fire. While this red, is not as WOW on me, as the discontinued Glazed Fire, I still think it’s pretty great! The lace cap is a bit larger than my other Envy wig (Brittany), but, I’m finding that both the cap, AND the hair, are oddly superior to the MUCH more expensive Raquel synthetic AND human hair wigs! I’ve come to believe that with Raquel, I was paying for the label, rather than the quality of the hair or the entire wig! I’m now firmly an Envy fan! This is also a great wig to have, (if you’re someone who switches up theirs wig looks a lot), you will not find a wig that’s sexier and as stylish as Brooke! .Liza

I love this wig and the part is so natural that I look in the mirror and forget it is a wig. A friend of mine who knows that I am wearing wigs (chemo) is just amazed at how natural it is. My only problem with it is that the color of the lace in the front, at the hairline is dark brown. It looks like a stripe-just awful. So I cut back the lace to where it is natural color, and the wig is now perfect. I also cut bangs, which is my style. The layered cut is very flattering, and the hair is natural looking. First time I've tried an envy wig. They have beautiful styles to choose from. I was going to order other styles from them as the hair is so nice but I was shocked at how scratchy the very small lace front is. I have a full head of hair myself but don't know what to do about the feel of the lace. I would recommend this line but only in styles that don't have a lace front. Color was not as nice as in the picture. Not a brand I would spend so much money on.
This is my wig for dressy events. It is very beautiful and everyone thinks it is my real hair. My only complaint is that like many long wigs, it tangles very easily. I would wear it more often if it didn't have this problem, but instead, I just wear it on special occasions. I wish someone would invent synthetic wig fibers that did not tangle. I have this wig in Ginger-Cream which is a lovely medium ash blond with subtle highlights. Pros Gorgeous style, Ginger-Cream color is beautiful, looks totally real Cons Tangles easily

I started wearing this wig on January 17th 2022 and it didn't even last a month before the nape started getting frizzy and sticking up in the back ( total give away that your wearing a wig) I really had high hopes for this one but was horribly disappointed! The hair on the top of the wig is lovely but Envy put cheap, horrible synthetic hair at the nape. You would think they would have learned a few things by now & would put human hair at the nape. This Emma wig didn't even last as long as a regular synthetic and was much more expensive. Take it from me ladies, I have been wearing wigs every day for the last 6 years and this wig is one of the worst I have ever had…save your money and just buy a synthetic wig.Laura S.
My bio hair is very curly, so when I saw Kaitlyn I knew I had to try her out. The trouble with this style is that the curl pattern/tightness/density DOES vary from piece to piece, so if you don't like the piece you receive, send it back for a different one. I wish I could have done that with mine – it was likely a return, and I can see why: the curls are loose and droopy and sad and sporadic. Sadly, it's a closeout item, so I'm stuck with my decision. (Absolutely NO shade to WigStudio1 – they're fabulous. This is all on me.) I'm going to wash her and see if that will perk up the curl pattern, and if it doesn't, there's always headbands! Just go into your purchase knowing you may not get the wig of your dreams on the first try. All of that said, Kaitlyn is a beautiful style and I'm looking forward to trying her again in the near future.Liz P.
Purchased in chocolate caramel as you see in the photos. I’m a natural dark brunette and it works perfect. I also have a 23 inch head and this still fit me since the cap has a nice stretch. Stays on perfect with a velvet wig grip. Love the natural looking curls, the windblown messy look, and the sort of ***** nature of this wig. The short pixie back is a little different than what I’m used to since I’ve never had a wig that is short in the back and long on top. It takes a little getting used to. Overall I can say it’s comfortable, looks natural, and is super fun. Not sure I would do this as an every day wig but with these curly wigs they are great for a fun night out, a weekend ball game, that kind of thing. I’m 50 years old and I can get away with this style. I will put a review on YouTube under it’s a wonderful wig. Highly recommended.Emily
