Have always bought Raquel pieces but feel like the quality has gone down the last couple of years. The picture shows where top is completely coming apart. This started two weeks after purchase and I couldn’t afford to replace it. The sides of this one also didn’t look right and kind of poked out and could easily be seen. I have worn many different varieties and brands of wigs… and at any price Ms.Welch's (synthetic) wigs are an inferior product to many, many other brands that cost far less money First, the "Positives": very nice color assortment from which to choose… though it must be acknowledged that "good color assortments", throughout the various brands-range is not a rarity. There are very nice colors available in all brands The "NotSoPositives": The mono-top, dimension-ally, should be more ample in size. If you wish to create a part on the "far side", either right or left, you'll encounter a problem, having run-out of "mono" construction. 2) Front Lace from "temple to temple" is not acceptable; for a product costing this amount of money at full-Retail, the lace should go from ear-to-ear 3) … and finally: the "hair"/ fiber: AWFUL !!! After wearing for a brand-new unit (only) a week or so, you'll find that the ends begin to frizz… and the frizzing becomes worse and worse as time goes-by. And before you ask: No, I do not… and have never used heated styling tools on synthetic units. The frizzing looks like the results of an extremely bad perm.', and the scatch-iness against the skin is soooooo uncomfortable on those longer styles. … and finally: the lace front separated from the front of the wig! I had to glue it back together! For me, Ms.Welch's wigs are cheaply made products with a big price-tag, and a rating of "OneStar" is one star too many!Tina M.
I wear wigs full time and I own over 20. Every quality of synthetic from $20 Ebay wigs to $400 bought on this site. Love this site. The fit, color and style of this wig are awesome as are Raq wigs, but not the hair quality. The wig frays easily. I know how to care and treat a heat friendly synthetic wig, hence my history above, but within 1 week of daily wear the hair from the nape down became dry, course and needed a deep conditioning. I only use the wide tooth wig comb sold here on my wigs so this shouldn't have happened. My first real disappointment so I'm glad I got it on sale. I bought Zara as a replacement bcs they are very similar. I hope she holds up better than Scene Stealer.Gigi

I now own three Flirt Alert wigs, this is my absolute favorite for several reasons. I wear my wigs every day, all day. I need a wig that holds up well to daily use. I find the tangling and matting of the longer wigs to be unbearable! Well let me tell you…flirt alert holds up well!! I have been wearing wigs since breast cancer caused my already thinning hair to fall out. Due to POS and a hormone blocker I will take for a few more years, my hair had no chance at coming back to anything resembling a full head. Just received my Big Deal in Shaded Biscuit. She was out of stock for a while, so I jumped on this order when she became available again, and I'm so glad I did! I've just received my 4th Top Billing topper and wanted to review again. The first two I bought in 2020 and was thrilled. Perfect fit right out of the box, color was exceptional, thick, but not too thick and not too shiny. However when I bought a new Top Billing in Feb of 2021, I could tell the difference right away and sadly the same is true of the one I just got. Two different colors, same problem. The material is thinner, shinier and unwearable without a lot of fussing. It's not as long or as full and because its thinner it flips up on the ends and doesn't look natural. It doesn't hang properly. I have thin hair all over so if I want to wear my hair "down" I need enough thickness on the topper to cover my bio hair. No problem wearing the 2020 Top Billings down, but the new ones I have to clip or pin or wear up because they're too thin. Also the new material is noticeably shinier and I've spent a lot of time washing and dry shampooing to try and get it to look more natural. I'm really disappointed as I've tried a lot of toppers and thought I'd finally found "the one"!Laura
I love the lace front & lightweight quality coverage. On the flip side, the lace front is tricky. I use Milano new topper band. The large size fits perfectly with this piece. I found them on Amazon in large & small. I comb dry hair straight back, use Kenya dry shampoo, which is a little tacky & the band does not slide back, maintaining a nice lace front. I may have bangs trimmed, not sure, yet. But I love this piece. Cap works well for a pony tail ! (Yay) Beautiful part, more like silk look.Michele
I ordered the Raquel Welch Top Billing in color RL10/12 Sunlit Chestnut. The topper was pretty but the color was just too dark (maybe too ashy) for me. I previously ordered the RL12/16 Honey Toast — it was a little too light. I am at a loss on how to order the right Raquel Welch color — the professional recommendation was to order the RL10/12 that I just returned. I love the RW heat defiant fiber, density and texture — it looks like REAL hair. My current "go to" toppers are Jon Renau Top Smart in 12/30BT Rootbeer Float and Jon Renau Top Coverage in 12 Light Golden Brown but I just don't love the shiny synthetic (non HD) fiber. (I've tried several techniques to "de-shine" but I'm still not happy.) I think RW Top Billing could be a winner if I can ever find the right color.Donna V.

Wig # One: I just received my Sparkle Wig and I love it however the color is too white. According to the information in the packaging I can Try again —your can reorder now or wait, etc, and I have reordered now. Replacement: Wig # Two: I am returning the enclosed wig for several reasons. First, it is way too small. This is reorder from the first wig I received which was a great fit and style but was too white. The color of this replacement is perfect, but too small and not nearly as well styled as the first. I talked to a representative today and was instructed to return this one so that it could be replaced with the correct size and with proper styling. Please note that the enclosed return wig shows the correct size (A) but it is much smaller than the first one which was great, but too white. Also, the styling on this one is very centered on a part and has little shape even when shaken and finger styled. The first one (which was the too white one) had great styling right out of the box and no visible part. I've purchased this wig for several years now. I've had two different colors. One was a darker brunette and the other was this one R9S+ Glazed Mahogany. I love the color. The only thing I have noticed in ordering this style, one of the wigs in the brunette color, was cut different than the original one. I've noticed this with other styles of Raquel Welch wigs. It would be interesting to see how these wigs are manufactured. Other than that, it's a great wig. I still have my hair but it's thinning so much as I get older. I'll be 70 in April and I refuse to let nature take it's course. I have fun wearing them and my friends can't believe I wear a wig every now and then. Life is too short and I'm tired of wasting any more time in front of the mirror trying to fix hair that just isn't there anymore! I'm by no means bald but realty is closing in! This was one of my favorite wigs. It has changed and I sent back my order. The fibers were too shiny and wispy, flipping up and "different" then the last two I purchased. Also the base neckline was severely short and would easily show a misplaced hair from underneath. Very disappointed and lost too much money back and forth. I don't have money to waste. I thought I knew what I was getting. Sorry but I have been very happy in the past with both my Cinch and my sparkle wigs. I'm wondering if they have done the same to the Cinch wig.

But, when I am wearing it, I find that the lower density looks extremely natural and more realistic than the overly thick human hair wigs I have had in the past. The hair is very smooth and you can run your fingers right through it. I had the Kim by Jon Reneau which has extremely sick denier. I have this bravo wig in the color R 11 S. It looks extremely realistic as though my hair had been professionally highlighted. I also find the lace front to be the best I have ever worn. The netting is so fine that I truly can barely see it. This is the first wig I have on where I do not feel the need to cut the lace. Although some may not like the thin density for the shorter length, I find it perfect for every day wear. I was looking for a wig that was short enough to be comfortably worn every day easy to tuck behind the ears, yet long enough to be pulled back out of my face. Also I would like to add that this week does not shed at all so I am expecting it to last quite a while.I gave this four stars only because I do wish there was slightly more hair in the lower back region of the cap.Patricia D.

The color Glazed Sand is really nice and the lace front on this style is impeccable, and as this was my first unrooted color, it’s even better and more undetectable than the rooted colors. I received my order I am not happy with my order! The color was supposed to be a mix! The wig is black with platinum … I ordered a blonde mix. I have tried numerous times to make contact, no luck! Finally after numerous occasionally I receive an email to return the wig with tags attached. I made the best of the wig, I’m not happy with the color at all. I really like the style the color was false advertisement. I can’t sent the wig back tag has been removed. Took forever to arrive… color wasn’t right but needed the style last weekend! I used to wear this unit regularly back in the day. I reordered for old times' sake, and since I've been wearing short hair a lot lately, but it's just not what I remembered. First of all, it's thin af. I know it's short hair but a little more density would be nice. Secondly, it has a cone shape at the crown! And I know it was the wig, my braids are small and lay flat, plus the other wig from another brand that I ordered fit flawlessly. I'm taking a loss on coins and time here (I live overseas). Disappointed with Sensationnel.

I am so disappointed with the last few wigs! I have been buying the beguile wig for 10 years now and the quality is getting worse, harder to manage! With just wearing it for a couple hours it actually looks like a wig… which I have never had happened before! This is so disappointing, I don’t wear wigs for the fun of it! I have no choice my hair is gone. I am a single mother that works very hard and these wigs are expensive. I buy human hair wigs so it will look as natural as it can! This is the second Raquel Welch human hair wig I have purchased and have been very disappointed in the craftsmanship. Again with this wig the ear tab is not centered and you cannot close it to help secure the wig. I can’t understand why they charge so much for these wigs it do not have a good standard to assure that good quality is leaving their factory. As far as the color of the wig is what I was looking for. It is the density what I was looking for. I did have to work with a hairdresser to get the bangs the way I wanted it. I am requesting to discuss this with Wigstudio1 because I would like a exchange. The wig slips the left ear tab was not made like the right ear tab there is not enough bend in the middle that they put in it so it just flips out very very disappointed that they can get away with charging so much for a human hair wig and not have a higher standard of qualityAmalia G.
Purchased 2 of these 7 months ago expecting they would last longer by alternating them. One is much thicker than the other. The thinner one is losing hair on top too rapidly so I'm going to have to stop wearing it. The thicker one is also losing hair on top fairly rapidly. A lot of money for an average of 3 1/2 months of wear. Had bangs cut in both of them and the stylist struggled because the hair seemed to be tied differently causing the hair to lay differently on each wig. You must thoroughly condition these as they dry out. I am also getting the friction tangles underneath. I wear them daily. (alopecia universal). Since I have 2 and alternate them I would think they would have lasted longer than this. I DO like the look of them. Receive lots of compliments on my hair.Terry

The color in the pictures is way off. I ordered M3S which is Darkest Brown but ended up receiving a chocolate brown wig. M3S is the same color as my cockapoo. For reference, google "dark brown cockapoo" and that is the shade of M3S. This brand does not use The Level System of Hair Color, which is the universal standard used by most wig and hair piece brands. This makes finding the correct shade difficult.Stephen
