The wig is supposed to be human hair. There were strands of blue and red in the wig. I believe it’s a human/synthetic blend. My wig was also not very full. I own about 8 headband wigs and this is by far the BEST quality hair. The curl pattern is stunning. I’m now a fan of 180 density. Little shedding. No tangling. I have a small head and lost my hair to cancer and the fit is perfect. The band doesn’t lay completely flat but that’s probably due to the density and definitely not a deal breaker.
