I ordered two of these wig styles. I wore the gray one to a mother's day brunch. As I was standing by my car, a lady called out Madia as she was passing by in her car. She thought I looked like the Tyler Perry character. I will never wear that wig again. The black one was designed with way too much hair. The hair does not fall correctly and it has too many layers. Nora is a delightful fluff and go style with waves and almost curls. I got it in color 38, which is light ash brown with grey. It is supposed to be light ash brown with 25 percent grey (it seems a bit more than that;) It would be nice if Paula Young had at least one style featured in this color. The ash brown is very close to my natural color (a bit lighter) but Nora has more grey than I do personally. Nora arrived smelling absolutely wretched; I almost gagged when I opened the box. I had to wash the wig immediately. I used Paula Young shampoo. I thought I detected the (fumigant?) odor even after the wash, but when Nora dried, she no longer smelled. When I first put her on after she'd dried she was not pretty and the curls were mashed against the cap. I shook her vigorously and then took a wide tooth comb and really brought the fibers up off the cap. I wasn't rough, but I was deliberate in going over the entire wig to revive the fibers. I was able to achieve a style very similar to the catalog photo. In my photos, Nora has a more shag-like appearance, but once on she can be fluffed to the rounded silhouette of the catalog photo. Nora fits my 22.25 inch head comfortably and could be adjusted to go even a bit larger, or smaller. I find the fibers dry to the touch and just a bit coarser than my own very fine hair (although Nora's fiber does not look coarse.) Nora is comfortable to wear and an adorable style that goes with dressy as well as casual outfits. If you are prepared to spend a few moments waking Nora up after you first get her home, I think you will be pleasantly surprised at her fluff and go versatility. When this DANCE wig and COLOR ME EXQUISITE wigs arrived, upon removing them from the box they were cute, and the colors were pretty and the best thing they had going for them, However, they didn't look much like the ones the models in the pictures wore. And there is too much perma tease or "fluff" to them. They had really no style to them at all. Especially in the front, just couldn't do much with them. And didn't want to try since being careful with them is a must when trying them on. Very disappointed with these wigs. In my humble opinion they were not great and not keepers. So I am returning them and probably won't buy anymore wigs again. The top is spiked and will only stand straight up and the bangs stick straight out and will not lay nicely against the forehead. I tried to tame it down with wig spray and hair gel but it won't lay down. The top hair stands straight up and the bangs stick straight out. The wig will not comb into a nice smooth pixie like the picture shows. I would not recommend a person buy this wig unless you want spiked hair that stands straight up at the top of your head and bangs that stick straight out at your forehead. When I first received the wig I was worried that it would be too thin. But, when I am wearing it, I find that the lower density looks extremely natural and more realistic than the overly thick human hair wigs I have had in the past. The hair is very smooth and you can run your fingers right through it. I had the Kim by Jon Reneau which has extremely sick denier. I have this bravo wig in the color R 11 S. It looks extremely realistic as though my hair had been professionally highlighted. I also find the lace front to be the best I have ever worn. The netting is so fine that I truly can barely see it. This is the first wig I have on where I do not feel the need to cut the lace. Although some may not like the thin density for the shorter length, I find it perfect for every day wear. I was looking for a wig that was short enough to be comfortably worn every day easy to tuck behind the ears, yet long enough to be pulled back out of my face. Also I would like to add that this week does not shed at all so I am expecting it to last quite a while.I gave this four stars only because I do wish there was slightly more hair in the lower back region of the cap.Patricia D.
I‘m a huge Raquel Welch wigs fan, it’s my favorite brand. And I had my eyes on this style for a while and think the stock photo looks fabulous. But it’s my first and last style in regular synthetic. I love the True2Life HD fibers by Raquel Welch, they look and feel like human hair. But these are just extremely shiny and it has a lot of hair! The color Glazed Sand is really nice and the lace front on this style is impeccable, and as this was my first unrooted color, it’s even better and more undetectable than the rooted colors. I am new to wig-wearing. My bio hair is about 75% gray, and I do have a full head of hair that I keep cut in a very short style. I ordered the wig in the color of my hair and also have the hair stocking about the same color. The hair is thin and the wefting might show thru if you are trying a color that isn't a close match. Otherwise, it is my new favorite!!
Have been wearing this wig for at least 8 yrs…and have tried many other styles, but this I’s my favorite and I keep returning. Have ordered MANY of this particular wig, and will continue. Am concerned though, that the colors are being clearanced….and hope this doesn’t mean that the style is on it’s way out. Would love to see this style in a lace front, and/or without the darker color in the back. I think many more customers would buy it.Sharri S.
As your records would show I have purchased many of this exact wig. When I got the first ones I was thrilled with them. They I would definitely have given 5 plus stars. Then I had purchased 2 more when I was concerned the others were wearing out. I thought they were horrible. Not as much hair on one side, colour was not what I had gotten before though the same number and I was planning on returning them but felt the shipping to return plus the shipping and duty I had already paid was not worth it so decided to donate to a women's group. Later I took another chance after complaining to this site and once again they were definitely not up to the standard of the original wigs. It seems to me the quality control was very poor and that because I didn't like them found myself wearing the old ones though they were showing their age. I needed shampoo and conditioner so thought I'd try one final time. Well these were better than the last four that were terrible but still not anywhere near the same standard as the originals. I can't believe that it's the same company creating them as the hair is so much faker than the originals I would love to purchase the ones I had bought the first while but while these I will have to wear when the old ones are simply worn out but will be searching for another site that possibly has this wig

I purchased 2 wigs. The Tango & the Ellie (which I returned because I didnt like it). The Tango was everything I expected. I also purchased a pair of John Fashion sling back shoes which I absolutely loved. I returned The Ellie wig & requested a refund. Aft several days, I traced the US mail pkg & it had been received but I had not received my refund as requested. So I called a cpl times using my sister's fone becaz I had poor reception on my Gov fone & later not enuff minutes 2 call Especially Yours & ck on my refund. I was denied my refund of $39.99 for the wig I returned becaz I was using someone else's fone. Although I used my OWN email address & Credit card 2 pay for my order. I had 2 call my bank & have the charges reversed becaz they UNJUSTLY denied my refund. I don't owe them & have never ordered from them before & was treated unfairly. This was the most awful low quality wig I every purchased. This use to be a great company back in the days and I was hoping it was still good. I cant believe you as a company purchased this wig, looked it over and still decided to sell it to your customers. It was poor quality and looked nothing like this pick except for the frizziness, look closer and it's there. I returned the same day I received it for a refund and I was told then it was a on sale and couldn't get a refund so not only poor quality, poor customer service. What I received wasn’t what was pictured in the catalog or online. So I googled it, the color was at the wig.shop. The only recent I didn’t return it was because it was a gift from my husband and it would have hurt him. He didn’t know about color selection. What he selected was what he thought was in the picture. I ordered this wig in buttered toast. I don’t think it does the wig justice. In the picture on the internet the colors give the wig much more depth and separation. Mine just looks like it lies flat on my head. It therefore looks more like a wig. I have been ordering my wigs from Wiltshire, but lately I have been disappointed in my choices. I love this wig! I am in my sixties with thinning hair. When this wig arrived I Thinned it out and bleached it with bleach powder for 30 minutes to get the shade that I wanted. I didn't add color to it because it came out perfect with just the bleach. I cut it in a bob style. I am very happy with the outcome. This is a very comfortable wig and easy to style.
