I bought this wig because it was a synthetic/ human hair blend and I thought it would last longer than a regular synthetic wig but boy was I wrong. I started wearing this wig on January 17th 2022 and it didn't even last a month before the nape started getting frizzy and sticking up in the back ( total give away that your wearing a wig) I really had high hopes for this one but was horribly disappointed! The hair on the top of the wig is lovely but Envy put cheap, horrible synthetic hair at the nape. You would think they would have learned a few things by now & would put human hair at the nape. This Emma wig didn't even last as long as a regular synthetic and was much more expensive. Take it from me ladies, I have been wearing wigs every day for the last 6 years and this wig is one of the worst I have ever had…save your money and just buy a synthetic wig.Laura S.

The trouble with this style is that the curl pattern/tightness/density DOES vary from piece to piece, so if you don't like the piece you receive, send it back for a different one. I wish I could have done that with mine – it was likely a return, and I can see why: the curls are loose and droopy and sad and sporadic. Sadly, it's a closeout item, so I'm stuck with my decision. (Absolutely NO shade to WigStudio1 – they're fabulous. This is all on me.) I'm going to wash her and see if that will perk up the curl pattern, and if it doesn't, there's always headbands! Just go into your purchase knowing you may not get the wig of your dreams on the first try. Stays on perfect with a velvet wig grip. Love the natural looking curls, the windblown messy look, and the sort of ***** nature of this wig. The short pixie back is a little different than what I’m used to since I’ve never had a wig that is short in the back and long on top. It takes a little getting used to. Overall I can say it’s comfortable, looks natural, and is super fun. Not sure I would do this as an every day wig but with these curly wigs they are great for a fun night out, a weekend ball game, that kind of thing. I wanted to like this wig so much but it just doesn't work for me. The bangs are so heavy and still hang in my face despite taking to it with a steamer. The overall top layer of the piece is very heavy and looks so wiggy. My biggest complaint with Envy wigs is they have no attention to detail when it comes to hiding seams and the lace is very scratchy. The one thing Envy wigs do have going for them is the fibre is very realistic. So depending on your priorities this may or may not be the right piece for you.
I’ve been wearing Maya for two years during the Spring and Summer. Fall and Winter, I wear Brianna, also by Envy. What I’ve noticed about Maya, is that it’s definitely not as curly as pictured, rather, it’s more of a beach wave only. This is okay with me and it might be for you too; the only thing I can imagine is maybe I’ve not gotten a quality batch? If this is their new trend, I wouldn’t want you to be disappointed with the lack of curl.
This is a pic of me, immediately after opening the box containing my new wig Brooke! This hair is ready to wear! My only concern is that it’s SO long, that I know, a synthetic like this will end up frizzing & snarling at the ends. So, my thought was to have it cut down, so it’s still long, but not THIS long. I’ve been searching for anyone willing to cut a wig for 10 years, & haven’t found anyone in my city that would do so. For now, I’m wearing her as she is. This color is the lighter red, which is the closest I can get to my beloved former color by Raquel Welsh, Glazed Fire. While this red, is not as WOW on me, as the discontinued Glazed Fire, I still think it’s pretty great! The lace cap is a bit larger than my other Envy wig (Brittany), but, I’m finding that both the cap, AND the hair, are oddly superior to the MUCH more expensive Raquel synthetic AND human hair wigs! I’ve come to believe that with Raquel, I was paying for the label, rather than the quality of the hair or the entire wig! I’m now firmly an Envy fan! I ordered my second Carley by Envy in Creamed Coffee. My first one was wonderful and I got so many compliments. It was starting to frizz on the ends so I ordered another. I part my hair on the right and I didn't have any problem with my first one but this one is giving me the fits. I've steamed it and clipped it down, I've washed it and let it dry with a barrette in it, I've worked with it and it still resist laying down. My first on shed pretty bad but this one is really bad. I'm going to keep working with her because she is my favorite and I can't send her back now.
I was looking for a bob similar to Noriko Alva, but without permatease. Carley has a mono top for more realism, but (at least this color Almond Breeze) has light stripes that can’t be hidden. I don’t think it’s very noticeable, though. NOTE: I did trim the bangs. The fibers are great – very silky with excellent movement. It also hasn’t tangled.Amy G.
I am in my first months of my new wig journey. I looked forever trying to find the perfect low density bob with bangs that wasn't too short. I watched tons of videos and I always came back to Carley. I purchased her in almond breeze, trimmed her bangs a bit, and have been wearing her every day for a few weeks now. I love her! I wear wigs recreationally to give my own hair a break from heat styling once or twice a week or while I am on vacation. The cut and length of Nadia is very much like my own hairstyle. I was hoping the color would be as well (I got it in Frosted) but it's much darker in person than the sample shows. My own hair is medium brown but I have about 50% of it lightened with foils to a gold blonde. The Frosted wig is more an all over medium brown with just lighter tips. I probably should have gone with Medium Blonde or Dark Blonde, but for winter the Frosted will be fine. The mono part looks very realistic and the hair does not have that unnatural shine that some wigs have. The shading of the hair looks natural as well. I may have to trim the bangs about 1/2" as they are fairly long, but that's the case with most wigs. Better to have the bangs too long than too short. I am impressed with the quality and construction of this unit and would order it again, only in a lighter shade.Kim
The Nadia style is perfect right out of the box. I like how the waves at the ends fall over each other on my back. The bangs were a touch long if I wanted to wear them straight down, but side swept it was much more sophisticated and pretty. The nice thing is that it will stay that way, no need to style it. I found the Sterling Shadow to be even more silver than Estetica's ChromeRT1B. The dark root blended well into the rest of the style and wasn't harsh or stark at all.Joan S.

I bought this wig to recover from a face and neck lift. It is perfect, long enough to cover all the sutures and swelling. If is not as full as the Raquel Welch wig I have, but I think that wig is too full. This one is just right for me. I got the light red, which is a beautiful color. Beautiful color in Cinnamon Raison but the lace top did have a significant cone shape which made the fit impossible. I could push the crown down nearly an inch. I have a petite head and there was certainly lots of room to hide your own hair. I have alopecia aerata and the lace front did not place nice with my own hairline. I could not get this hair to part properly possible due to the shape issue – could it be a defect in the way it was sewn? Exchanged as it was slightly frizzing at the part as if someone else also had this problem. Otherwise the hair felt nice and the cut is exactly what I was looking for.Jennifer
I love this wig! It looks just like my real hair, only it looks fabulous all the time. It is fine and not to much hair, just the perfect amount that makes it look so natural. I find so many wigs have to be thinned and they never look right, this wigs comes perfect (I trimmed bangs) but the style is darling and ready to go. I will buy this again and again.

I wanted to like this wig so much but it just doesn't work for me. The bangs are so heavy and still hang in my face despite taking to it with a steamer. The overall top layer of the piece is very heavy and looks so wiggy. My biggest complaint with Envy wigs is they have no attention to detail when it comes to hiding seams and the lace is very scratchy. The one thing Envy wigs do have going for them is the fibre is very realistic. So depending on your priorities this may or may not be the right piece for you.
I’ve been wearing Maya for two years during the Spring and Summer. Fall and Winter, I wear Brianna, also by Envy. What I’ve noticed about Maya, is that it’s definitely not as curly as pictured, rather, it’s more of a beach wave only. This is okay with me and it might be for you too; the only thing I can imagine is maybe I’ve not gotten a quality batch? If this is their new trend, I wouldn’t want you to be disappointed with the lack of curl.

My only concern is that it’s SO long, that I know, a synthetic like this will end up frizzing & snarling at the ends. So, my thought was to have it cut down, so it’s still long, but not THIS long. I’ve been searching for anyone willing to cut a wig for 10 years, & haven’t found anyone in my city that would do so. For now, I’m wearing her as she is. This color is the lighter red, which is the closest I can get to my beloved former color by Raquel Welsh, Glazed Fire. While this red, is not as WOW on me, as the discontinued Glazed Fire, I still think it’s pretty great! The lace cap is a bit larger than my other Envy wig (Brittany), but, I’m finding that both the cap, AND the hair, are oddly superior to the MUCH more expensive Raquel synthetic AND human hair wigs! I’ve come to believe that with Raquel, I was paying for the label, rather than the quality of the hair or the entire wig! I’m now firmly an Envy fan! This is also a great wig to have, (if you’re someone who switches up theirs wig looks a lot), you will not find a wig that’s sexier and as stylish as Brooke! .Liza

Just go into your purchase knowing you may not get the wig of your dreams on the first try. Stays on perfect with a velvet wig grip. Love the natural looking curls, the windblown messy look, and the sort of ***** nature of this wig. The short pixie back is a little different than what I’m used to since I’ve never had a wig that is short in the back and long on top. It takes a little getting used to. Overall I can say it’s comfortable, looks natural, and is super fun. Not sure I would do this as an every day wig but with these curly wigs they are great for a fun night out, a weekend ball game, that kind of thing. I have several wigs in this style, but this one is the best, probably because of the human hair. I needed to get it trimmed, I think it is too long, but worth having it professionally trimmed. The hardest part of ordering a wig is that you can't really know what the color will be until it arrives. Sometimes the name of the color is the same, but varies from brand to brand.Linda M.
I loved this wig. The hair really matched my own and was very natural looking. The problem was that the cap has elastic in it and kept creeping up in the back. I sent it back but have since learned from a friend that the elastic could have been modified to make it stay better! No problems returning it and getting a refund. I ordered this wig in Vanilla Butter, thinking it would be a nice warm blonde. Well, it is more red than anything, then had this really yellow blonde in the bangs and front, so it ends up looking too brassy for me. I really wanted to like it, and kept trying it on, but the color was all wrong. Also, it seemed quite thin on top and really thick at the ends. You can really only wear it combed straight down, because when you try to part on the side it all goes in your face and the cap webbing shows. The bangs are very long, so would have to be trimmed. The wig was also way longer on the sides than the picture. I am returning it. On the the positive side, the feel of the hair was great, as was the movement. My bio hair is very curly, so when I saw Kaitlyn I knew I had to try her out. The trouble with this style is that the curl pattern/tightness/density DOES vary from piece to piece, so if you don't like the piece you receive, send it back for a different one. I wish I could have done that with mine – it was likely a return, and I can see why: the curls are loose and droopy and sad and sporadic. Sadly, it's a closeout item, so I'm stuck with my decision. (Absolutely NO shade to WigStudio1 – they're fabulous. This is all on me.) I'm going to wash her and see if that will perk up the curl pattern, and if it doesn't, there's always headbands! Just go into your purchase knowing you may not get the wig of your dreams on the first try. All of that said, Kaitlyn is a beautiful style and I'm looking forward to trying her again in the near future.Liz P.
Purchased in chocolate caramel as you see in the photos. I’m a natural dark brunette and it works perfect. I also have a 23 inch head and this still fit me since the cap has a nice stretch. Stays on perfect with a velvet wig grip. Love the natural looking curls, the windblown messy look, and the sort of ***** nature of this wig. The short pixie back is a little different than what I’m used to since I’ve never had a wig that is short in the back and long on top. It takes a little getting used to. Overall I can say it’s comfortable, looks natural, and is super fun. Not sure I would do this as an every day wig but with these curly wigs they are great for a fun night out, a weekend ball game, that kind of thing. I’m 50 years old and I can get away with this style. I will put a review on YouTube under it’s a wonderful wig. Highly recommended.Emily
