Horrible! No wonder that falsely advertised it. The honey blonde is UGLY and doesn’t transition smoothly. It’s like two huge platinum streaks on the from that don’t blend with the wig. The lace is HARD and I mean brittle. Tried to return it because it’s NOTHING like the photo and the didn’t add ALL the photos and they’re making me pay! After sending me a wrong wig and refusing to do anything! This wig was so disappointing. It is falsely advertised and I’ve worn this brand many time and purchased many wigs. Do do this unless you want a cheaply made synthetic looking wig with hard lace and ugly color.

This was my first wig, and I now own 4 of this style! I have my own hair. It is naturally curly and I can no longer style it because of health reasons. THIS is the style I've always wanted/worked for in my blowouts followed by curling iron! I first bought it in a monochrome color (hazelnut) and didn't think it was as naturally looking as I would have liked. As you can see from the pictures there really is no difference between the roots and the hair, and it is all really light colored for me. I will be getting a new one in a darker color like GL16-27SS. My other mild complaint is that for some reason the ear area fits a little weird on me, though I have a petite head. It's like the ears are slightly too high, and even when I loosened the elastic it didn't help much. Very minor, which is why I'm willing to try this is a different color.Brittany
Soft & Subtle in GL 6-30 was my first foray into beachy waves, and I love her! There's a little bit of permatease at the top, but not much, so she doesn't seem too "wiggy" for me. I wish that the curls were a bit more structured – I wouldn't necessarily wear her for a special occasion – but she's great for an unfussy, casual look. She comes across as very natural, as if I'd just stepped out of the shower and I had wavy hair that just dried that way, so I feel comfortable wearing her for day-to-day activities. I have a 21.75-inch circumference, and the petite-average fits well with just a little extra room at the crown; an average-large would definitely have been too large for me. Overall, I think she's a great everyday style for someone who is seeking a relaxed, informal look and wants to experiment with something wavy at a reasonable price point (especially with discounts).Patricia L.

I have worn wigs for over 50 years and have experienced the good, the bad, and the ****. I have worn inexpensive and expensive, natural and synthetic wigs. I cannot believe how completely disappointed I am with this wig. At this price point I would have expected much better quality. Severe matting occurred in less than a month. I have had the wig for only one month and it looks like I have had it for 6 months. I wear my wigs daily and they usually last 3 – 6 months depending on the brand. The hair fibers at less than 1 month of wearing this wig feel like dried cheap doll's hair! I was so embarrassed when one of my friends at church touched my hair and got a funny look on her face. I paid over $400.00 dollars for this wig. I am ashamed to wear it anymore and feel like I just wasted a lot of money. I have never written a review for a wig before. I felt an obligation to write this review to save others from wasting their money and to send a message to Raquel Welch that I as well as other customers deserve much better quality especially at that price. I have had at least one other Raquel Welch wig ( I think Spotlight ) and was not disappointed like this. This wig is a new addition to the Raquel Welch collection. It looks beautiful in the pictures but after a couple of weeks of wearing is probably one of the poorest and cheapest looking not to mention shortest lasting wigs I have ever bought. I see that it is now on sale for $290.00 which I still think is too much but wish I had spent that instead of over $400.00.Diana F.
Update….I previously wrote a review on this wig. I love the realistic hair fiber (but wish they could improve heat friendly hair fiber so it lasted longer) and the hand tied cap and the lace front are both wonderful but the Cap is Huge on this wig. Sadly, I won't be able to buy more of this piece because of the large cap size, so much so that it's baggy on my head. Disappointing because the cut is gorgeous.Lovewigs2
I wanted to try something with some length. I ordered Shaded Biscuit and it was beautiful. However, the length was way longer than I anticipated and to cut it would have removed too much of the curl/waves. I returned it at the full refund price since I received store credit. This wig came with the hairnet ripped and barely on the wig, which looked like it had just been thrown helter-skelter into the box. The wig had obviously been worn – it was stretched out (and my head is 22 3/8"!), the bangs were bent out of shape, it was frizzy and there was product in it…. This was a final clearance sale wig so I couldn't return it – but I still think that WigStudio1 should not have sold a wig in this condition… I wonder if they'll print this review…Maggie M.
I wish the bangs were swept and light. It was more a layered blunt bang. The hair was very soft and the permatease is minimal. I liked Lasting Impression better even though it had permatease all over since the look mimicked my own hair. The hair in the front was easy to tame and didn't fall in my face either. Can't wait to see Fashion Staple by Gabor next incase I want a longer look that I can custom trim. It looks like a longer version of Lasting Impression with flipped, frizzy (probably dry) ends. I tried Stepping Out since I was getting tired of hair falling out of control in my face… with most long wigs without bangs. But I didn't like the bangs on me, but they might be good for someone else. The cap was very comfortable. Finally found my natural synthetic color in 10/12 after 4+ years of searching RW, LF, Envy, Amore, etc. If you describe you hair color as Medium Brown (without any reddish tones near the root… but you see very slight reddish midway down to the ends due to sun exposure)… You also see goldish mixed in with slight reddish midway down your hair to the ends, try a Gabor style in 10/12. This wig is a great wig. I bought it in color 6/33 It was a bit lighter than I expected due to colors so theroughly blended. I was expecting more 6 and less 33. Still a nice color.. Fit is a little large , but average is a bit too small. I think I have felt with the problem bo sewing in clips at the base of the back. . Hair fiber density is nice. I deal with flyaways with a spritz fine mist water. I only use a wide tooth comb and spray it with leave- in conditioner. The part is realistic. The only way this wig could be better is if it had a full mono top and perhaps a lace front. I have this wig in the platinum blood as well. I'm still searching for the perfect dark brown with dark auburn highlights.Kay B.
