I now own three Flirt Alert wigs, this is my absolute favorite for several reasons. I wear my wigs every day, all day. I need a wig that holds up well to daily use. I find the tangling and matting of the longer wigs to be unbearable! Well let me tell you…flirt alert holds up well!! She is soft and silky, bouncy and beautiful…the 4 inch nape keeps her from matting…I get so many compliments when I wear her. The other day, a woman got out of her car and was screaming across the parking lot wanting to know where I get my hair done because she wanted hers done like mine! LOL! I have been wearing wigs since breast cancer caused my already thinning hair to fall out. Due to POS and a hormone blocker I will take for a few more years, my hair had no chance at coming back to anything resembling a full head. I've played around with a few styles, staying mostly with bobs, which was close to my hairstyle before chemo and I was comfortable with. I decided to take the plunge and go for a shorter, easier style and came upon Advanced French. Ordered in a lighter color (RL 14/22, Pale Golden Wheat) as my own hair is mostly white and a golden blonde. The wig came and it immediately seemed to brighten my face and is a very youthful style, not that at 64 yrs. I want to look like a kid, but every little bit helps. If I wasn’t experienced in wearing wigs, this would have been a really frustrating and disappointing purchase. As soon as I took the hair out of the box, the ends seemed really tough and frizzy, to the point where the comb gets stuck. Because the quality is so poor, I ensure extremely gentle combing but somehow one of the tracks has already broken within the first 1-2 weeks. The **** are that once you tint the lace/add makeup and cut your baby hairs, the hairline blends really week and looks realistic. If you’re more of an expert at tailoring your own wigs then this isn’t too bad, but you won’t be able to wear it for too long because of the quality. If it was cheaper like the original price in the US then I don’t think I would have minded as much.Danielle C.
I am obsessed with this wig! This was my 3rd time ordering, but my first time getting a wig installed for daily wear. When I tell you!!!! It doesn’t feel heavy on my head. It’s a tad tight, BUT I think that’s because I’m not use to wearing one daily, not because of the make of the unit. The color is EXACTLY what I expected and is a perfect summer blend I love that it is a side part too because I love doing a clipped back look behind my ear (will make it easier to wear my walkie at work) I thought it was gonna be too long but I actually love the length! Absolutely love this wig. Its comfortable to wear for a long period of time, the texture is great so it'll blend in perfectly with your own natural hair. So far I haven't experienced any shedding or loss of hair and I always wash my units when I receive them and the curls bounced back to their amazing fluffy bouncy self. Bought this piece because of the reviews online. They were pretty spot on so far. The curls are very bouncy, pretty, and full. I have only worn her once and received lots of compliments. My only qualm is the amount of hair. I had to do a little thinning before I felt it looked good. But even though there is a lot of hair, the piece is very light weight which has been true to other reviews. I don't use the combs but it has ample head room, big head friendly; and comes with a long comb up front and a smaller one in back along with two adjustable straps, pretty standard these days. I didn't do much fluffing of the curls because one that I cut out, I pulled it loose and separated it. The bouncy curl really pulled out to a loose wave. I won't mind that after a few more wears. The color was spot on to my hair color. I bought a #2. After wearing the half wig, I wish I had gotten the full wig instead. I just think the curls, after they drop or are pulled out, will be nicer on the full wig. It was a great purchase thus far and I do recommend it especially for those that have the creativity to do many styles with a half wig. I actually purchased some #2 braid hair, braided a long section, then used it as a braided head band over the front of the piece. Hopefully I can get some good, long wear out of is but that is TBD. This wig is BY FAR my favorite wig from this collection! Not only does the scalp look SO real, but the hair texture is close to my own when it's blow dried out so it looks really natural. This is my first time ordering I live in Canada Ontario, the wig took 9 days to come ( a little over a week). It was long, loose curls and baby hair straight out the package. Fit perfectly fine on my head I fixed the straps to my liking. Unit was 13×6 parting space, lace was light. Volume of the wig wasn’t the best compared to other sensationnel wigs, felt like a synthetic wig. The colour was burgundy wine however on my dark complexion it looked more red not burgundy. My mom gave Solana to me, because she wasn’t really feeling the color on her. I think this color is called “Chocolate Flamboyage” and when I first tried her on I too wasn’t 100% in love with this color as well, and being new to wearing synthetic wigs I really didn’t know what to do with it either lol. Anywho so I trimmed the lace, plucked & parted it, and I even took a black sharpie & darkened the roots to my liking & “Walla” she’s stunning now!! I find it funny that because I stated I was highly disappointed in the wig I purchased from this website they deleted my review. Well here we are again. I have no problem putting my review up here again. The quality of the wig its self was slightly decent when it comes to the feel and texture of the hair however I could not find the part in this wig like the picture shows and the other review that was posted. Also the wig looks like its missing hair in the front. Its clearly visible that this is a wig. Stick with buying at your local beauty stores. If you’re more of an expert at tailoring your own wigs then this isn’t too bad, but you won’t be able to wear it for too long because of the quality. This was my first ever topper purchase. Well, second, because the first one I ordered in 6/33 did not even remotely match my bio hair, despite my pouring over online pics, blogger reviews, YouTube videos… I returned that one, and was told a 6 would be a better match for my hair, which is a dark chocolate brown shade. So the 6 comes, and woah, this color is reeeaaallly dark! Just a flat deep deep brown. So this one won’t work either unless I color my hair. Keeping it as I don’t want o pay shipping 3 times to try another shade that still may not work. The topper itself is just ok. It’s very full despite the small base size and has lots of coverage. The part is not very realistic, but I was expecting that, and think adding fringe bangs would help tremendously, to disguise the part and also because the front lip of the topper is white in color and tends to want to stick up rather than lay flat so it’s noticeable. The hd synthetic hair feels fairly real, but is very shiny in a weird way so I’m hoping a wash and some dry shampoo will help with that. If you wear your hair teased, a non specific part, and maybe have bangs, this one could work really well. I think I will keep saving for a human hair topper with a silk part.
This is not my first topper, but it is definitely my favorite! I have paid lots more money for other name-brand toppers that do not look as natural, or beautiful as this. I chose FS17/101S18 (Palm Springs Blonde) and it is truly a wonderful ash-blonde topper with many highlights. I have extreme hair thinning on the very top of my head, and this gives me perfect coverage. The very best thing about this topper is it looks so natural that no one knows it is a topper!! This baby is my favorite. I do not find any shedding of fibers and I can curl this to blend with my natural hair. ALSO, it is very lightweight and comfortable, that I forgot I was wearing it. I ordered this in the Salt Pepper Mix. I really like the color. I some what like the style. It is too long and looks like you really need a trim at the nap of your neck. The quality problem is the same problem I have seen with three Ellen Wille wigs I ordered. There are little short hairs sticking up all over the back of the crown area or in the case of Cara 100 Deluxe wig the short straight hairs were sticking out all over the top. Another complaint, is that the picture here on the website is very inaccurate. In the red haired picture, that wig has been cut in the back. Wigs should not be altered in pictures for advertising a wig. I like that Ellen Wille wigs do not have excessive permatease and the cap being an petite/average fits me better than average sizes. But these quality issues are costing me a lot of money when you have to return the wig. Unfortunately, I don't have a wig store near me where I could try on wigs.
I ordered this wig in two colors, hoping that it was a bit more wavy to curly style with natural density on top. I was kinda hoping for the love child between Ellen Wille Arrow and Girl Mono. I was going on stock pictures and youtube reviews, but in reality it has a very choppy, strongly layered cut, and no real waves or curls. I had to brush these wigs with a regular "forbidden" kind of hairbrush instead of a wide tooth comb, to make the hair come together, instead of each lock of hair being super pieced out, doing their own thing. It also has a bit of permatease on one side of the part, and that kind of increased in volume during the day that I've worn her. For my head and face shape (large), permatease isn't a good idea. So… for me personally it's not a winner. However, if you need that extra bit of volume on top, you will LOVE this! If you like choppy layers and playfulness, but not really want to go for full curls or beach waves, this is a yes! Quality of hair is amazing and the cap is super comfortable. Lace front on Ellen Wille is one of the best in the industry in my opinion.Lea S.
Wish I had bought this piece first. Wore it right out of box. Professionally cut, realistic density and very fine denier. Hairline is undetectable. With hand tying too, It’s the most natural piece I have. Mine is champagne mix, it is close in shade to RW shaded biscuit, Henry Margu 10/613GR, and maybe JR’s Palm Springs Blond? Ellen Wille’s shade is a nice blend for most any med to ash blonde or for someone whose blonde is beginning to gray. No gold really. Not shiny. Very nice length. I still have a lot of hair length and that is the only challenge with me wearing this one since it is designed to fit with very little to no hair. I am making it work tucking my hair flat under wig cap. My bio hair has thinned to point that I need more hair to look normal again. I’m a petite/med? I really like the feel of the synthetic hair this topper is made from.. It does not have hair that covers the back completely but there is some there and the color blends with my hair color. I thought I would get this trimmed but my husband said one evening that he really liked the way it looked and to leave it just the way it was. So, I have not trimmed or tried curling it. I am thinking f buying a second one and getting it cut and trimmed.so the sides can be a little shorter but I would buy it again just as it is. Anything that works for me is always appreciated. I've been gluing wefts together for 30 years now due to trichotilamania…. not fun.This topper has a great hairline & i appreciate the little clip right in front of the part that most companies never think to add. I love this unit ,(Cornrow-Lauren – (26-28)inches tailbone length / (13*4) virgin lace frontal) it's very natural looking , the braids are neat, the wig is not heavy at all . I would definitely recommend this company in a heartbeat . Then only thing I didn't like was it took over 9 weeks for me to receive my units , I actually purchased 3 units one being GODDESS LOCS-POSH which I knew would take longer that the others , what I didn't know is they would hold the other two so they could ship all 3 units together .
