I now own three Flirt Alert wigs, this is my absolute favorite for several reasons. I wear my wigs every day, all day. I need a wig that holds up well to daily use. I find the tangling and matting of the longer wigs to be unbearable! Well let me tell you…flirt alert holds up well!! She is soft and silky, bouncy and beautiful…the 4 inch nape keeps her from matting…I get so many compliments when I wear her. The other day, a woman got out of her car and was screaming across the parking lot wanting to know where I get my hair done because she wanted hers done like mine! LOL! I wish this wig came in a hand tied cap, but that’s my ONLY complaint, if you can call that a complaint.Kyra

I have been wearing wigs since breast cancer caused my already thinning hair to fall out. Due to POS and a hormone blocker I will take for a few more years, my hair had no chance at coming back to anything resembling a full head. I've played around with a few styles, staying mostly with bobs, which was close to my hairstyle before chemo and I was comfortable with. I decided to take the plunge and go for a shorter, easier style and came upon Advanced French. Ordered in a lighter color (RL 14/22, Pale Golden Wheat) as my own hair is mostly white and a golden blonde. The wig came and it immediately seemed to brighten my face and is a very youthful style, not that at 64 yrs. I want to look like a kid, but every little bit helps. I had it on when the husband came home from work and he didn't have to say anything for me to know he approved. Its fun, easy and for a short style, has some styling options. The lace front is not as itchy as some have been and I love getting hair off my neck and off the face. Great little style and ordered two more right away.Therese W.

Just received my Big Deal in Shaded Biscuit. She was out of stock for a while, so I jumped on this order when she became available again, and I'm so glad I did! The fibers are silky soft with los of swingy, natural movement. She's comfortable and can go from daytime to evening easily. Big Time and Upstage are about the longest lengths I'll wear; anything longer jus doesn't look like me. I'm petite, for reference. Also, I have only brushed this wig upside down before putting it on. Wig # One: I just received my Sparkle Wig and I love it however the color is too white. According to the information in the packaging I can Try again —your can reorder now or wait, etc, and I have reordered now. Replacement: Wig # Two: I am returning the enclosed wig for several reasons. First, it is way too small. This is reorder from the first wig I received which was a great fit and style but was too white. The color of this replacement is perfect, but too small and not nearly as well styled as the first. I talked to a representative today and was instructed to return this one so that it could be replaced with the correct size and with proper styling. Please note that the enclosed return wig shows the correct size (A) but it is much smaller than the first one which was great, but too white. Also, the styling on this one is very centered on a part and has little shape even when shaken and finger styled. The first one (which was the too white one) had great styling right out of the box and no visible part. I've purchased this wig for several years now. I've had two different colors. One was a darker brunette and the other was this one R9S+ Glazed Mahogany. I love the color. The only thing I have noticed in ordering this style, one of the wigs in the brunette color, was cut different than the original one. I've noticed this with other styles of Raquel Welch wigs. It would be interesting to see how these wigs are manufactured. Other than that, it's a great wig. I still have my hair but it's thinning so much as I get older. I'll be 70 in April and I refuse to let nature take it's course. I have fun wearing them and my friends can't believe I wear a wig every now and then. Life is too short and I'm tired of wasting any more time in front of the mirror trying to fix hair that just isn't there anymore! I'm by no means bald but realty is closing in! I feel so much better just looking in the mirror and seeing the hair I used to have! Don't ever be ashamed about wearing a wig. Make it fun! I Love this wig!!! Ordered and it arrived super prompt!! You were out of stock of my favorite wig, Lace Ashley, so I took a chance and ordered this one! Glad I did!! This wig is easy, light, full, and flows beautifully!!! Can’t put any heat on it. Can’t comb it. Just lightly run your fingers thru it, and maybe a couple of hair pins, if you desire. When I first received the wig I was worried that it would be too thin. But, when I am wearing it, I find that the lower density looks extremely natural and more realistic than the overly thick human hair wigs I have had in the past. The hair is very smooth and you can run your fingers right through it. I had the Kim by Jon Reneau which has extremely sick denier. I have this bravo wig in the color R 11 S. It looks extremely realistic as though my hair had been professionally highlighted. I also find the lace front to be the best I have ever worn. The netting is so fine that I truly can barely see it. This is the first wig I have on where I do not feel the need to cut the lace. Although some may not like the thin density for the shorter length, I find it perfect for every day wear. I was looking for a wig that was short enough to be comfortably worn every day easy to tuck behind the ears, yet long enough to be pulled back out of my face. Also I would like to add that this week does not shed at all so I am expecting it to last quite a while.I gave this four stars only because I do wish there was slightly more hair in the lower back region of the cap.Patricia D.

I love the True2Life HD fibers by Raquel Welch, they look and feel like human hair. But these are just extremely shiny and it has a lot of hair! The color Glazed Sand is really nice and the lace front on this style is impeccable, and as this was my first unrooted color, it’s even better and more undetectable than the rooted colors. I was wearing hand tied Center Stage with the lovely lace front when she sat across from me at a restaurant that day. Nothing more needs to be written to explain the 5 stars. The quality of this wig is less than expected. I bought the wig for a week long 2 hours each day bible school. The first evening, many strands of the "hair" came loose from the wig. The wig then continued to shed the entire week.pharmtech02

It's cute but, it's uneven the way it falls. The part us weird so half the side falls straight down over my eyes. Looks like the curls have no lift at the scalp tgen fall forward. It would have been really nice just the right amount if curl if it was placed at the part correctly. I was stepping out, treating myself to a bit of culture with the arts, A live dance performance at Phoenix' Orpheum Theater, a building so breathtaking beautiful, I had to dress up just to enter its elegant pedigree. This is a lovely wig. The hair is soft and silky and there's something about the thickness of it and the way it falls that feels so luxurious. I bought it in the color FS1B-33, and it's stunning looking. The highlight effect of the 33 gives it gorgeous depth. It doesn't appear quite so "stripey" as it does in the photo when you click on this color. It's a much more subtle blend. It looks natural and yet also better than natural! The bangs are slightly longer than I need, but that's never a problem. I'll just give them a light trim. It's a very comfortable wig. The way it's constructed, it sits very nicely, and there are combs to secure it at the front and the back. The wig also "breathes" well. It feels light. This is an amazing wig for such a low price. This is the beginning of my journey so my issues may be just that I am starting this journey kicking and screaming. I know all the YouTube reviewers say this is wonderful and fun but it isn't what I want to do – I wish my bio hair looked like this wig. It is lovely – soft and flattering for probably anyone. However, I may still return, I have tried in on for a bit several days in a row, still not sure. These may be things I just have to live with now that I have to do this to have normal 'hair'. 1.) Lace front – if I do keep this one, I will NEVER buy a lace front again. Unfortunately, it is very hard to find a nice, well made hairpiece without it because everyone else seems to love lace front – NOT ME. I don't like that you cannot pull your bio hair out from under (I know that it is great if you have no hair, but I have plenty around my face and would like to incorporate – Sincerely Yours by RW was perfect but too short). And though it DOES look very nice (I really didn't think it would look so realistic, it truly looks like a real hairline up close), it is HORRIBLY itchy. Like stiff, itchy netting and I can't wait to take it off. Maybe if I try gluing it won't itch so much? 2. I TOO much hair, as with most all of the hair pieces. While I can make this one work because it thankfully isn't LOADED up with that fake feeling/looking permatease (I know some people love it, I do NOT on me), it is still GOBS of hair. I push my hair behind my ears and I would have to have massive ears to fit the gobs falling in front of my face behind my ear; it is like trying to tuck a large rope behind my ear. Not sure why manufacturers think someone who has had hair loss or very thin hair all of the sudden will feel comfortable with a wooly mammoth strapped tightly to their raw noggin. Again, this one could be okay because I could take thinning shears to it and make it work if I keep this wig. 3. Speaking of the front bit… as other reviewers remarked, OMG does it want to go in your face. I don't want to use any product or heat on it yet because I am not sure I am keeping it so VERY difficult to tell if it will work because that is absolutely a problem. Would probably have to thin and cut that into layers – it is very pretty but no one goes around with a big chunk of hair hanging down like that all day. All of the hair on the cap is geared to go absolutely FORWARD, not sure why. It is something that would have to be worked out with heat, water and product. 4. Cap construction – Not super comfortable. Again, this is all new to me so maybe I am doing something wrong. I am using a wig grip so not sure if that adds to my discomfort. I will say that the seams around the mono part are thick and itchy. I would rather a whole mono top or a basic cap, rather than that seamed bit. Too much going on in the cap. So – if you are a regular wig wearer, this style will probably work for you; I am just not use to all these itches and things going on my head. Sort of like a pretty but uncomfortable underwire bra – you can deal but can't wait to get it off at the end of the day – that is how it feels for me. If this had the cap of the Sincerely Yours, I would have found my piece. Again, not sure if I am returning or not, but it is so expensive for me, for them not to be spot on. I need something that looks like ME and I can wear every day and it looks like normal, non-poufy, non-shiny hair and isn't going to rub my ear or itch my head, etc. I am probably hoping for too much. 🙁LJT

Cap is so comfortable. I had to cut on the bangs a little because they went directly into my eyes. However! The color more than made up for it. The eggplant shade is absolutely beautiful and perfect for the fall season! If your bio hair is or was brown and you are looking for brown yet with a twist of pow…. Choose this color! I have yet to be disappointed with the Raquel Welch brand wigs. Thank you Wigstudio1 for always getting my orders to me in such a timely manner. Makes me so happy to know an order is heading my way. The wig in the photograph on the package of the product looked much different than the actual wig when I got it. The wig in the photograph looked like a full one length wig with bangs, very much like Garth's actual hair. The wig that I got was not all one length, but instead had strange short layers cut on the top of it and the bangs as well. It looks more like some sort of hair metal band wig. The bangs aren't really there they kind of stick out, and straight up and the top of the wig has lots of hair sticking up as well. The underneath layer is so thin that you can almost see through it. It does not look like Garth's hair, nor does it look like the package. You can even see the netting on the top of it. I was hoping that I would get what I thought I was buying. I know that I got a cheap deal on the wig and glasses kit, but I think that the wig should look like what the package shows that it looks like.viviacour-0

Not the best quality but what does one expect. My wife really looked like Garth when she put it on. You may want to take your skin coloring in to account. I am fairly tan and it didn't work on me that well. But it was an easy costume to wear all night long. I would recommend it. This wig is good value but doesn't fully look like the one on the packet. It has the SNL branding inside so it's definitely the right wig. However, the hair on top is much shorter and spikier than appears on the packet – I opened mine a couple of weeks before wearing and put it on something in the hope that it would settle down following being stuck in the packet, but it didn't. I tried to style it with my hands and with a hairbrush/comb but it just kept spiking back up, rather than laying flat like in the picture. Overall, decent enough for what it is though.media-emma

Absolutely love this wig. Its comfortable to wear for a long period of time, the texture is great so it'll blend in perfectly with your own natural hair. So far I haven't experienced any shedding or loss of hair and I always wash my units when I receive them and the curls bounced back to their amazing fluffy bouncy self. The wig is full so there is no gaps or nothing like that when you wear it. I got the color 1b and it blended in very well with my own hair. Gorgeous wig. Got lots of compliments on it. I love the curls on this unit. Not too big, not too small. Its an easy wig to pop on and go. Bought this piece because of the reviews online. They were pretty spot on so far. The curls are very bouncy, pretty, and full. I have only worn her once and received lots of compliments. My only qualm is the amount of hair. I had to do a little thinning before I felt it looked good. But even though there is a lot of hair, the piece is very light weight which has been true to other reviews. I don't use the combs but it has ample head room, big head friendly; and comes with a long comb up front and a smaller one in back along with two adjustable straps, pretty standard these days. I didn't do much fluffing of the curls because one that I cut out, I pulled it loose and separated it. The bouncy curl really pulled out to a loose wave. I won't mind that after a few more wears. The color was spot on to my hair color. I bought a #2. After wearing the half wig, I wish I had gotten the full wig instead. I just think the curls, after they drop or are pulled out, will be nicer on the full wig. It was a great purchase thus far and I do recommend it especially for those that have the creativity to do many styles with a half wig. I actually purchased some #2 braid hair, braided a long section, then used it as a braided head band over the front of the piece. Hopefully I can get some good, long wear out of is but that is TBD. I have severe hair loss on top of my head. Bad enough that I never leave my bedroom without wearing some kind of wig or hair system. This particular wig has become my go-to choice whenever I want a quick change of color or an easy swap to something already styled, for an evening or a whole day. I own several much more expensive human hair wigs, including a similar length, custom made, human hair partial wig, which is designed as a medical prosthetic that I can wear for a week or longer without removing it. Yet I also own and continue to purchase this Gayle wig, in my normal auburn color as well as in black, blonde, silvery grey, redhead, and other colors. It’s comfortable, and totally passes in public situations, including nightclubbing, as if it was my own hair. It was my best wig for several years, before I stepped up to significantly more expensive human hair wigs. This is a great wig for the price, and can easily be used for daily wear.Ceera

I ordered SF13/16 Misty Mocha Average. The overall color is nice but I'm not fond of how dark the ends get. But since I trimmed 3 or 4 inches off the length, the darker color blends in well now. The color looks a little different in different lights. I'm not a fan of perma tease but this style is not too noticeable with the little shorts stubs because of the waviness of the style. I give it four stars for potential, because right out of the box , I had these challenges: Too much hair, both length and thickness. I trimmed the bangs, which many people expect to do. I thinned out the thickness and length with thinning shears which I assume not everyone knows how to do. Starting at chin length holding a few strands the width of about an inch or more, I make one cut every two inches down and brush the cut pieces out. I then took off overall length to my taste. I'm in my 60's so I expected to be able to style it back and/or up. The changes I made allowed me to be happy with it. I will probably not purchase any wig as full and long as this again. One is enough! I wore it a few times this Spring before the heat and look forward to wearing it again in the fall.Carla

This review is for the last two wigs I purchased, which, after purchasing from Paula Young for decades, will be the last two wigs I purchase from this company. First, Gayle is cute, makes me look younger, but the hair is a bit dry and not shiny like all the other wigs I have received, making me think it's not a fresh, new wig. On the other hand, the other wig I ordered, Arielle, was not available in any color I wanted, so I took a chance and ordered something more "wild," not realizing that color cost more. When I donned the wig, I was horrified–it looked terrible on me. I wanted to return it, but was told Paula Young would charge me $8.95, or I could pay postage myself to send it back. This was the first wig I have ever tried to return to Paula Young in probably 35-40 years of ordering from the company. I was so angry at how I was treated that I will never purchase anything from this company again. Rather than return it, I sent it off to Free Wigs for Kids (postage was $5.25). I'll buy my wigs elsewhere in the future.Dr. A.
