I love this wig. It looks so natural, and so comfortable on. This is the only one I ever wear. The first time I cut my hair short this was the style I had. So, when I started wearing this wig no one thought anything. They just thought I went back to my short style and love it. It is so easy to maintain. I just put it on, fluff it up a little and I'm ready to go. I got the medium brown which matches my hair perfect. You will not be disappointed with this wig.Sharon R.
Like the straight look in front, like the layering in back; however, at the very bottom in back, the synthetic fibers or strands should have a curl and not straight effect. After wearing during the day, when look at the bottom, the strands are sticking out and have a messy look. Having hairdresser to try to correct problem in back on bottom.
The wig length and fullness were not well suited for me. The synthetic hair seemed both shorter and less thick than described, especially in the crown area where really needed to make the wig look more like site images and product description. The color was nice, and as expected. The cap fit, but barely. It was difficult to align the sides/ear tabs well enough to allow a fit good enough to make it look more like my natural hair than a wig. Additionally, the right side was shorter, and due to the fit issue I was not inclined to having it trimmed to see if that would improve the look.Sheryl

Every time I order, the product is different, and none of them like the photo. I do not have time to restyle my wig every day. This time, it is shedding, has no bangs, and has a definite separation line on top. Some hair goes to side, some goes back. I am frustrated. I need a wig that is consistently the same, as I wear it every day and they only last about a year.
I basically like the wig. Cap fits my small head nicely. The fibers feel more like hair than others I have bought. The issue is the hair at the crown falls in a circle and no matter how I brush, it goes back to the circle configuration. Since it’s not heat friendly, I can’t set it to change the hair direction to either toward the side or toward the back. I’ve not seen that on any other wig.Kathleen

I wore everyday for a couple of weeks when I first got it. Then, one day opened the oven door after pre-heating to 425 degrees and fried the front of the wig. I know better than to do this, but it just slipped my mind. I immediately ordered a replacement. It arrived in about 4 days and I have been enjoying ever since. No more cooking for me!! I ordered the wig in the color of my hair and also have the hair stocking about the same color. The hair is thin and the wefting might show thru if you are trying a color that isn't a close match. Otherwise, it is my new favorite!!
Have been wearing this wig for at least 8 yrs…and have tried many other styles, but this I’s my favorite and I keep returning. Have ordered MANY of this particular wig, and will continue. Am concerned though, that the colors are being clearanced….and hope this doesn’t mean that the style is on it’s way out. As your records would show I have purchased many of this exact wig. When I got the first ones I was thrilled with them. They I would definitely have given 5 plus stars. Then I had purchased 2 more when I was concerned the others were wearing out. I thought they were horrible. Not as much hair on one side, colour was not what I had gotten before though the same number and I was planning on returning them but felt the shipping to return plus the shipping and duty I had already paid was not worth it so decided to donate to a women's group. Later I took another chance after complaining to this site and once again they were definitely not up to the standard of the original wigs. It seems to me the quality control was very poor and that because I didn't like them found myself wearing the old ones though they were showing their age. I needed shampoo and conditioner so thought I'd try one final time. Well these were better than the last four that were terrible but still not anywhere near the same standard as the originals. I can't believe that it's the same company creating them as the hair is so much faker than the originals I would love to purchase the ones I had bought the first while but while these I will have to wear when the old ones are simply worn out but will be searching for another site that possibly has this wig

I wish I could find a similar style from a different brand. Gabor is becoming lazy, the cap is low quality, the lace front bunches up so it's a factory flaw, but unfortunately, I thought it was me so I already altered it & can't return it. This was the first wig I ever purchased and right out of the box it was great. I made no adjustments to the cut or style and the amount of hair felt natural to me. Many other wigs I feel like have too much body or hair for my petite head and they overwhelm me. I got the 8/29 color and was surprised that is has some, although very few, grey/white strands. I don't mind this and over all think the color is great. My problem with it is that the ends got damaged VERY quickly and I did everything right in taking care of it. I started seeing a difference within a week or two and it was completely ruined within 2 months. I think it damages more quickly because the ends are right at the neck line of most of my coats and shirts, so rubs a lot more. I had read in some others' reviews that it fits their petite head size well, but I feel it is still a bit larger than I would like. I tightened the straps further than the normal max to make it work. I have still decided to re-purchase because I have tried on many other more expensive wigs that I liked less overall. So, buying this one again to get me through the next two months will be worth it.Kristina
Agree with all the other reviewers that love the style but find the fiber quality lacking. I have been wearing wigs for a number of years now and have many more than I should have – this one, by far, has aged very poorly in comparison – and I am being generous with the term "aged" as the bottom 3-4 inches became incredibly coarse, tangled and frizzy with just a couple of wearings. I have HD fibers that have worn better than this non-heat friendly wig. Am careful to use smoothing detangler with every wear and to comb out gently with a wide-toothed comb. Also give the ends a very light misting of silicone spray. The only thing that has helped (ever so slightly) was a soaking in cool water with fabric softener added but here, too, within a couple of wearings, the piece was back to a frizzy mess. My next step is to try the slightest amount of heat on the ends and/or possibly a little trim – if I ruin the wig, no matter, since it is essentially unwearable anyway. Such a shame – the style is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE EVER! If anyone knows of a "sister style" to this wig in another brand, I would love to hear about it.KPandTheG

This wig came with the hairnet ripped and barely on the wig, which looked like it had just been thrown helter-skelter into the box. The wig had obviously been worn – it was stretched out (and my head is 22 3/8"!), the bangs were bent out of shape, it was frizzy and there was product in it…. I wish the bangs were swept and light. It was more a layered blunt bang. The hair was very soft and the permatease is minimal. I liked Lasting Impression better even though it had permatease all over since the look mimicked my own hair. The hair in the front was easy to tame and didn't fall in my face either. Can't wait to see Fashion Staple by Gabor next incase I want a longer look that I can custom trim. It looks like a longer version of Lasting Impression with flipped, frizzy (probably dry) ends. I tried Stepping Out since I was getting tired of hair falling out of control in my face… with most long wigs without bangs. But I didn't like the bangs on me, but they might be good for someone else. The cap was very comfortable. Finally found my natural synthetic color in 10/12 after 4+ years of searching RW, LF, Envy, Amore, etc. If you describe you hair color as Medium Brown (without any reddish tones near the root… but you see very slight reddish midway down to the ends due to sun exposure)… You also see goldish mixed in with slight reddish midway down your hair to the ends, try a Gabor style in 10/12. This wig is a great wig. I bought it in color 6/33 It was a bit lighter than I expected due to colors so theroughly blended. I was expecting more 6 and less 33. Still a nice color.. Fit is a little large , but average is a bit too small. I think I have felt with the problem bo sewing in clips at the base of the back. . Hair fiber density is nice. I deal with flyaways with a spritz fine mist water. I only use a wide tooth comb and spray it with leave- in conditioner. The part is realistic. The only way this wig could be better is if it had a full mono top and perhaps a lace front. I have this wig in the platinum blood as well. I'm still searching for the perfect dark brown with dark auburn highlights.Kay B.

I know better than to do this, but it just slipped my mind. I immediately ordered a replacement. It arrived in about 4 days and I have been enjoying ever since. No more cooking for me!! I ordered the wig in the color of my hair and also have the hair stocking about the same color. The hair is thin and the wefting might show thru if you are trying a color that isn't a close match. Otherwise, it is my new favorite!!
