Hairdo Wigs On Qvc For Sale (2024 Update)

I was so excited to receive this and try something new. I've been wearing Reese and Sky for a few years now, but wanted to switch it up a bit. I was so disappointed when I saw this. First, it looked like doll hair and the color was AWFUL! I normally wear either Irish Spice or Bronzed Brown. I ordered R3025S+ this time for a "highlighted" look, boy was I wrong. It looked like carrot orange. Well, lesson learned, stick with old faithful.Catherine I.

I loved the look of this wig but was hesitant to buy because of all of the bad reviews. There really are no wigs that look great right out of the box. All wigs need some sort of help. Here’s what I recommend when getting a new wig: take it out of the box and give it a good shake. Put it on and adjust the fit, ear tabs, and general placement. Finger comb it into place and then walk away. Stay away from any mirrors for at least 30 minutes or longer and don’t mess with it. This is important because when you do look in the mirror again you have “fresh eyes”. It will be easier to be more objective and not just reactive. At this point you can focus on what you do and don’t like and determine if the don’t likes are ‘fixable’. Change the part if needed, if there is too much poof, wet it down and finger comb. Don’t do any permanent modifications until you decide if you want to keep it. But give yourself time to evaluate the wig properly. For this wig, I wet the top, used my fingers to make a deep side part sweeping the bangs across my forehead and flattened down some of the poofiness on the top then left it alone to dry. I am 68 and have been wearing wigs pixie wigs for many years, but want a new wig with a little more fullness. I absolutely love this new wig and would recommend it to anyone. Unlike many of the other wigs that do not even resemble the pictures of the wig they purchased, this one looks exactly like the pictures on QVC. I only have one small complaint. The Med Red/Ginger is NOT red. It is more like a light brown with a little bit of red in it. There are a lot of us natural redheads that would love a short brighter red wig, such as Rachel Welch wig color "Glazed Fire". I would like to suggest that Hairdo and QVC start offering more wigs that are a brighter red for their redheaded customers. Even though I'm not thrilled with the color, I will keep the wig because it is very complementary to my face.grammiecc

I ordered two of these wig styles. I wore the gray one to a mother's day brunch. As I was standing by my car, a lady called out Madia as she was passing by in her car. She thought I looked like the Tyler Perry character. I will never wear that wig again. The black one was designed with way too much hair. The hair does not fall correctly and it has too many layers. I tried it on, and it looked ridiculous. The wigs were supposed to be the exact same style, but they were not.Linda

I had viewed Esela many times keeping in mind negative reviews about this wig that I read on Especially Yours website. Because of your favorable return policy, I decided to order it. Many wig companies do everything they can to keep you from returning their products. My disappointment with Esela was that my purchase did not resemble the wig I viewed on line in style or color.Anna

When I first received the wig I was worried that it would be too thin. But, when I am wearing it, I find that the lower density looks extremely natural and more realistic than the overly thick human hair wigs I have had in the past. The hair is very smooth and you can run your fingers right through it. I had the Kim by Jon Reneau which has extremely sick denier. I have this bravo wig in the color R 11 S. It looks extremely realistic as though my hair had been professionally highlighted. I also find the lace front to be the best I have ever worn. The netting is so fine that I truly can barely see it. This is the first wig I have on where I do not feel the need to cut the lace. Although some may not like the thin density for the shorter length, I find it perfect for every day wear. I was looking for a wig that was short enough to be comfortably worn every day easy to tuck behind the ears, yet long enough to be pulled back out of my face. Also I would like to add that this week does not shed at all so I am expecting it to last quite a while.I gave this four stars only because I do wish there was slightly more hair in the lower back region of the cap.Patricia D.

I‘m a huge Raquel Welch wigs fan, it’s my favorite brand. And I had my eyes on this style for a while and think the stock photo looks fabulous. But it’s my first and last style in regular synthetic. I love the True2Life HD fibers by Raquel Welch, they look and feel like human hair. But these are just extremely shiny and it has a lot of hair! The color Glazed Sand is really nice and the lace front on this style is impeccable, and as this was my first unrooted color, it’s even better and more undetectable than the rooted colors. But everyone tells me that this style looks like an old woman and I‘m just too young to look that old… 😅 Of course Wigstudio1 is not to blame, their service was first class, as always!Sarah C.

The most natural looking wig I have ever purchased. A friend who knows I wear wigs, asked if she was seeing my bio hair. I was wearing hand tied Center Stage with the lovely lace front when she sat across from me at a restaurant that day. Nothing more needs to be written to explain the 5 stars. Center Stage has the most natural looking 'part' and believable density. I currently have this in 2 different but similar colors. I am shocked to see negative reviews. All it takes is a little patience with water, spray and/or gel to fool even a best friend. I don't want to forget to rate the comfort level-also deserves 5 stars.NBS

Nora is a delightful fluff and go style with waves and almost curls. I got it in color 38, which is light ash brown with grey. It is supposed to be light ash brown with 25 percent grey (it seems a bit more than that;) It would be nice if Paula Young had at least one style featured in this color. The ash brown is very close to my natural color (a bit lighter) but Nora has more grey than I do personally. Nora arrived smelling absolutely wretched; I almost gagged when I opened the box. I had to wash the wig immediately. I used Paula Young shampoo. I thought I detected the (fumigant?) odor even after the wash, but when Nora dried, she no longer smelled. When I first put her on after she'd dried she was not pretty and the curls were mashed against the cap. I shook her vigorously and then took a wide tooth comb and really brought the fibers up off the cap. I wasn't rough, but I was deliberate in going over the entire wig to revive the fibers. I was able to achieve a style very similar to the catalog photo. In my photos, Nora has a more shag-like appearance, but once on she can be fluffed to the rounded silhouette of the catalog photo. Nora fits my 22.25 inch head comfortably and could be adjusted to go even a bit larger, or smaller. I find the fibers dry to the touch and just a bit coarser than my own very fine hair (although Nora's fiber does not look coarse.) Nora is comfortable to wear and an adorable style that goes with dressy as well as casual outfits. If you are prepared to spend a few moments waking Nora up after you first get her home, I think you will be pleasantly surprised at her fluff and go versatility. When this DANCE wig and COLOR ME EXQUISITE wigs arrived, upon removing them from the box they were cute, and the colors were pretty and the best thing they had going for them, However, they didn't look much like the ones the models in the pictures wore. And there is too much perma tease or "fluff" to them. They had really no style to them at all. Especially in the front, just couldn't do much with them. And didn't want to try since being careful with them is a must when trying them on. Very disappointed with these wigs. In my humble opinion they were not great and not keepers. So I am returning them and probably won't buy anymore wigs again. Sorry PY but your wigs need to be lighter weight, lay nicer, (some of us like a bit flatter style) far less perma tease or fluff, easier to wear right out of the box…Thanks anyway…Juanita

I am completely disappointed with my purchase. I ordered two of this wig because I really like the look of the style in the picture. The wigs I received will not comb into the style shown. The top is spiked and will only stand straight up and the bangs stick straight out and will not lay nicely against the forehead. I tried to tame it down with wig spray and hair gel but it won't lay down. The top hair stands straight up and the bangs stick straight out. The wig will not comb into a nice smooth pixie like the picture shows. I would not recommend a person buy this wig unless you want spiked hair that stands straight up at the top of your head and bangs that stick straight out at your forehead. The style does not resemble the picture at all !Eve

I love this wig. It’s so beautiful. The hairline is spacious and can be parted anywhere. The curls are full n the texture of the hair is perfect. I made a middle part and a side part and it looked perfect both ways.i didn’t have any tangling either. I’m surprised I hadn’t heard about this wig before. It’s a well kept secret. If I wasn’t experienced in wearing wigs, this would have been a really frustrating and disappointing purchase. As soon as I took the hair out of the box, the ends seemed really tough and frizzy, to the point where the comb gets stuck. Because the quality is so poor, I ensure extremely gentle combing but somehow one of the tracks has already broken within the first 1-2 weeks. The **** are that once you tint the lace/add makeup and cut your baby hairs, the hairline blends really week and looks realistic. If you’re more of an expert at tailoring your own wigs then this isn’t too bad, but you won’t be able to wear it for too long because of the quality. If it was cheaper like the original price in the US then I don’t think I would have minded as much.Danielle C.

I am obsessed with this wig! This was my 3rd time ordering, but my first time getting a wig installed for daily wear. When I tell you!!!! It doesn’t feel heavy on my head. It’s a tad tight, BUT I think that’s because I’m not use to wearing one daily, not because of the make of the unit. The color is EXACTLY what I expected and is a perfect summer blend I love that it is a side part too because I love doing a clipped back look behind my ear (will make it easier to wear my walkie at work) I thought it was gonna be too long but I actually love the length! Definitely would recommend for someone that just wants a big change and wants something completely different. I went from super short hair, to this length and I’m glad I didKay B.

Due to a long term illness which caused me to lose my hair, I'm left with wearing wigs or head wraps. I usually don't give synthetic wigs 5 stars but l really believe this piece to be execptional. I am by no means a glamour gal nor was a going for a sophisticated look but a very natural look. I'm happy to say the gigi wig fulfils all the above expectations. :relaxed:On my face, it looks a little like orphan annie (think grown up, red haired shirley temple) but for me, that's what makes it look so natural. My mother had curly red hair so when l wear it, it makes me think of her. I've received numerous compliments on it & that's the real test for any wig, isn't it ? This is my "go to" wig!!! I have purchased almost every color with a back up. The SM 350/33/4 and the SM 613/30/4 are the sexiest looks in my opinion. I style into a side part. This brand 613 color is not a yellow blonde…more orange blonde. You really just put it on and go. Always a great sale and shipping.RUTH C.

Wore this wig on a flght and every woman on the flight, stopped by my seat to admire it. Wow what a surprise, most of them, actually applauded me and my hair style, it was at least twenty- six women, which does not include the stewards working on this flight, add four more women tothis group of admirers. Hair is shedding as I unpack it from original package. Ends and curls are frizzy and does not look as shown on website. I called I was told it will cost me about $10 to exchange. Why? Merchandise is of poor quality, cut-throat customer service. I am not happy and can't wear this wig. I refuse to exchange for a fee. I called to complain minutes it was delivered and I opened the package. Not won! Frustrating. I will not buy from this merchant again.Ruth

The color was nice on this wig, but I could not see how it would really look on me. I ordered the other mixed colored one, as well. I had to leave the cardboard attached. There is no way to see how I would look without a big piece of cardboard hanging from the wig. So, I guess I will never really know, since I returned both colors of this wig.Wynona

Well wasted my money yet again. The photo looks like a nice short wig. Once i opened it. there as a dead bug right on the top. Which means it was killed in transit. the wig has 10 times more hair than the wig in the photo. I can’t even wear it!! I Wasted my money!! Tried to trim it. it looked even worse. This is one of the prettiest & sexiest wigs I've bought in a long time. She's very cute & sassy. I've had wonderful responses from people I met 6 weeks ago in a therapy center I've been put in for a broken leg and will be here probably another 2 months. When you're brought in of course everyone wants to know how old you are. The average guess was 48-49. I needed a great boost at this time, going to be gone so long from home & seeing no family. After I received my order it was apparent that the color was just not a good one for me. I had ordered two wigs, both the same color and found that in person they were just very fake and not a natural look at all. I sent them back and then after reading the instruction found that over half the amount I paid for them was to be deducted due to the various charges they put on returns. I am very upset at this change in policy and cannot see myself using Paula Young Wigs in the future. I have been a faithful customer for over 15 years, so sorry, not anymore.Carol

A few months ago, I ordered the "Alex" wig. I love it! I ordered a second one so that I would always have it ready. While the first one was – and stil is – perfect, the second one is straggly and sloppy looking. When I first took it out of the box and followed directions (shaking, etc,) it looked ok. I put it aside til I could get a styrofoam head. Once I put it on that, it showed itself. I cannot wear it. I have not worn it. Unfortunately, I did take the tag off when I thought it was going to be ok. Please take it back and send me one that looks like the first one.Rosemary

I received the wig in a couple of weeks of ordering..I tried it on but it kept slipping off my head. The velcro tapes were set to the tightest setting. I took the wig to my hairdresser thinking it should be cut as the style was so weird.. She told me to wash it first in fairly hot water so some of the crushing from shipping would come out.. Seriously after wearing it for 30 seconds it looked like I was a cone head!! The inside just above the bangs there is a circle of heavy knit capping.. Not the stretch lace like the rest of the wig liner is made from…This is advertised as a whisper lite wig?…My head dripped with sweat in a few minutes as it just does not breathe the same as my other wigs? My hairdresser suggested it not be cut but to somehow get it made smaller. I have Alopecia so have bought and worn wigs for some years. I have always had wigs come with a stretchy lace type liner with metal adjustable clips on the elastic straps. I live in Canada so not an option to return the wig with the high postage, tax paid and the exchange rate…. So I bought some crazy glue to cinch up the elastic tapes making them shorter.. that was a total mess as the glue did not adhere the same as my other many wigs have done when the elastic stretched out.. I then pinched the material together to sew it on each side to tighten to fit my head.. I have always worn an average size wig… This one with that hard thick cone or dome inside was something else!!! Why did I take the added expense of a hairdresser as well as buying the glue?? The color of the wig and the style now that I have the cap fitting properly suits me to no end!! I look stunning in it and it looks like my own hair. My hairdresser says it does not look at all like a wig….So I made all of these compromises! I suggest that they make this Wig in all sizes so we don't have to glue or sew our fingers trying to make them smaller than Average. I suggest that the Deluxe Soft Touch Grip be sold in a smaller size as wellBrenda

First off I would like to say that I have never taken the time before to write a product review, but this amazing hair piece deserves my words of praise. When I placed the order, I was cautiously optimistic about the Style-A-Do after reading all the positive reviews. Due to the fact that I color my hair, I ordered 2 different shades, since colored hair seems to fade after a while. I wanted to be on the save side! When I received my order I was completely amazed by the 100% color match to my own hair. This was several days ago and I have not been able to pull myself away from the mirror to try different hair styles with this piece lol What an absolutely fabulous product. The quality is A+ and it looks so natural that my own husband and co-workers couldn't even tell the difference between my own hair and this hair piece. I have found that in my case the most secure wear method is to insert a short wooden craft dowel horizontally right in between my short pony tail. Then I simply take the hair piece, twist it once into a figure 8 shape and loop the ends over each side of the protruding dowel. The dowel is completely covered up and the Style-A-Do stays in place securely all day long. As a flight attendant I truly appreciate the quality, beauty and ease of this product. I can be up in the air all day long and my hair still looks as good as it does when I first step foot on the aircraft. A very classy look when worn down low in a Chignon style bun while in uniform and a fun look when worn up higher for an evening out on a layover. Extremely versatile product! I rarely gush over anything that I buy. I either love it or I don't. If I "like" something, it ends up going back. I LOOOOVE this item. I have long, wavy hair but it's gotten a bit thinner over the years, so when I wear it up or in a ponytail the ends tend to look scraggly – I wanted something that would thicken it up and give it some shape – because I get tired of wearing all this hair down all the time. Well, when I saw these I thought it would be perfect…when I actually received them, they are SO much more than perfect. First of all, I ordered the dark blonde and the color couldn't be more suitable for me. I tend to highlight the front of my hair each summer and then go a bit darker and more natural in the fall/winter months. As a result my hair has some gold tones in it, some reddish tones and some dark blonde. Honestly I think this color was MADE for me! It matches perfectly whether I lighten up or darken down! As for the look – when it's in my hair it just looks soooo much better! They are both gorgeous pieces! I wear them both alone, I haven't worn them together yet – saving that for a special night out 🙂 As a matter of fact, some folks say that they don't stay in their hair…well just yesterday we must have had 50 mph winds here in NYC and I was worried it might blow off because I had it on LOL…but it did not. It stayed put and I'm so happy with this purchase that I'm buying another set just to save in case these get messed up. LOVE THEM!!dollusions

I am 12 years out of aggressive chemo, with autoimmune issues, my hair is baby fine, thin, about chin length. I cannot wear my hair "up" the way I would like, and my hair down on hot humid days leads to stringiness and stickiness, style do not hold. This a my first purchase of a hair piece like this – a "bun". I chose buttered toast, my hair is a medium natural blonde with dark blond and brown lowlights. The colour match was fine . I found I did have to wrap this around my stubby thin pony 3 times, which did tangle the bun a bit. I gently combed and picked a bit to untangle and blend. If I comb anymore, it comes to look like a small ponytail, It`s almost impossible to not tangle the hair on the bun while twisting and wrapping it in , by the way it is made, but I can deal with that. I did add a few bobby pins for security, and my own feeling of security. I like that it does add fullness , and summer style. I wore all day, it stayed in, no one seemed to know it was a piece – not even my husband! For me, wearing one of the pieces was enough for volume, plus look natural. A suggestion for those who commented that it did not wash well – swirl gently and soak for a short time in cool water with a bit of fabric softener. It will untangle, and be easier to reshape after dry. Being artificial, it takes well to fabric softener than a conditioner for natural, real hair.Manders
