I enjoy changing up my look from time to time but in doing so I have found that many wigs quickly can get unruly. When starting out I had no idea how to maintain my wigs so I had to really learn through suggestions and trial and error. This product was suggested to me and I picked it up to help give life to my wigs and keep them looking a little more kept. While this spray was helpful especially on curly wigs I noticed that it made my straighter wigs look more oily than conditioned. I tried oils and 100 other things to stop the snarls in my extensions, this is the only product that has worked. Not only does it keep your extensions soft and conditioned, but it also does the same thing for your natural hair. It also protects your hair against flat irons, blow dryers & curling irons. I have oils at home, that to be honest I have forgotten to use recently! Having visited my hairdresser recently this was used on my hair for the first time. I have thick, curly, coarse and frizzy hair. To blow dry it it can be a workout for the arms..and there is no way I can get it as smooth as they can! When this was used (just a couple of drops) on damp hair, the texture of my hair was so smooth and shiny it was amazing. It has certainly not made it greasy or feeling 'weighed down'….just loving the shine and the way it has made my hair look so healthy. My hair is naturally ringlet-curly, but the ringlets were always noticeably frizzy. Over the decades I’ve tried oils, creams, mousse, gels, lotions, & potions to try and tame them. I gave up & would blowout my ringlets then straighten my hair, then slather with product. It worked for a while. Enter Covid Hair Loss!! I knew I needed to be gentle with my hair because it was now extremely fragile, which meant cutting way back on heat tools. After an exhaustive search for something new to tame the ringlet-frizz I now had back by letting my hair air dry, I landed on Olaplex No. 7. I honestly did not put a lot of faith in it, but I do now! I use about 7 drops in my hands and apply it to damp hair, then let air dry almost completely. I have zero frizz and perfect curls… ALL DAY! I do use a diffuser just to hit my roots for volume, but that’s it. I went from unruly frizzy curls, to blownout & straightened, to naturally curly shiny non-frizzy hair. I've never had a product that does what this product does. I have long brittle balayaged hair and after using conditioner my hair used to feel weoged down and limp. Ever since I included this in my routine, that has changed. I section my hair into two and apply a pea sized amount in each section avoiding the scalp and comb/brush each section to make sure the product spreads evenly. This product also helps with detangling. Degangle with fingers before your comb if you have long hair like me. Whoever is confused about this product isn't using it right..you're either using too much or it's not spreading well in your hair. After application, my hair no longer feels limp. They just feel healthy. If you feel the need to add more shine after this you can use the number 7 olaplex oil, just a drop after this. This routine is everything. Use the amount of product as asked by professionals and you will not find it as pricey either.addie

I have been wearing extensions for some time and decided to up the game and treat my hair to Olaplex. Big big mistake! The product is way too rich for hair extensions and it has completely dried them out! I had a lovely 20 inch, double drawn balayage hair extensions fitted in April 2022 and bought this kit in May.l (then repurchased when I was out). By September I have left 18 inch and dry as the Sahara. If you have hair extension please stay away! I’m not even close to the 12 month mark with my extensions and I’ll need to get new ones because my hair looks terrible. All that money down the drain, no pun intended. In the past I used just a normal cheap ish shampoo recommended by my extensions girl and I still have the old extensions, that I took out just after the 12 month mark & they’re in perfect condition. The morale of my review: just because something is more expensive, hyped & advertised in fancy magazines, doesn’t mean it’s actually good for you.Yoanna

bought this product because i couldn’t decide between this or the mending infusion. i am a man with short hair and using this definitely styles my hair, but it almost feels like a hair gel rather than a cream. it leaves my hair just a little bit stiff and a tad oily. considering getting the mending infusion but if you don’t mind slightly oily hair this does the trick. side note it smells great. i feel like moroccanoil changed their formula and nothing smells the same anymore, but this has the moroccanoil signature scent.aydenb723

I have had some pretty serious issues over the past few years… after having lost about 60% of my hair due to some health issues… and I have to say that this Moroccanoil Hydrating Styling Cream is AMAZING!!! I went from having VERY healthy, thick and shiny hair to VERY dry and fragile hair, almost over night, a few years back. My hair used to take DAYS to fully dry, when I would clip it up in a twist to dry naturally. Unfortunately, in the past couple of years, the bottom has literally been TOTALLY DRY, upon taking it out from my hair drying turban, only about 15 minutes after washing it… 🙁 The first time that I washed my hair again after having used a tiny bit of this product in my hair 3 days prior, when I took my hair out from my hair drying turban, it was actually STILL WET!!! I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT!!! My hair is soft and pretty shiny again! 🙂 If this could do this for my hair in this condition, I can't imagine how WONDERFUL it would be for those of you with healthy hair! I really really REALLY wanted to love this. Trust me, I even tried it on dry and wet at multiple times throughout the week and let me just say, disappointed in an understatement. To give you better perspective, I have wavy straight hair and I twirl my hair around my finger and usually creates these beautiful waves as my Hair dries. I was searching for the best hydrating styling cream snd decided to give this one s try because I love their hair oil but oh boy big mistake. It smelled NOTHING like their other products. It smells like chemicals and the moment I apply it to myself hair (wet or dry) it gets SO STICKY & STIFF. Once it dries it make your hair so puffy and it worsens when you brush it. Not sure if this is meant for curly hair folks? But it’s s big no for me. Disappointed but it is what it is. Thank god I bought the mini version. This is a product that can be found with all of my other hair products. I use it almost daily, especially when I want a great hair day. I use the serum first and then spray over it. It helps my curls to spring to life. There is no sticky or crunchy residue. The scent is faint but pleasant. I will keep on purchasing this because it works perfectly in my hair.Stephen

I am pretty brand loyal when it comes to my haircare, but every now and again if a product is amazing enough from another line , I will cheat on my usual and dip into the other line for that product. This is one of them The Moroccan Oil Treatment oil, which I feel is their most popular product that lead the way for this brand I think lol yes it is expensive, yes I get it cheaper because I am a liscenced professional lol but, when it comes to these higher end hair products , usually,you get what you pay for. It is worth the expensive price tag. There are some expensive hair products that I feel are not worth it and are way too overpriced for what they actually do and I am always very honest in my reviews on hair care because I live and breathe hair , its my profession, its what I love and I love to help people achieve hair they love, so if that means being honest and saying hey this product isnt worth it or its crap OR hey , this is not a brand I retail at work BUT Ive used it and I love it and recommend it even if u need to buy it elsewhere and I dont really achieve much for myself, what I want to achieve is to educate people on hair hair products and what works for them . So I am always honest when clients ask me about Moroccan oil.. that no we dont carry it but it is something I love and use everyday.it gives my hair amazing shine, it makes it feel soft and silky and just glides on over those little split ends like they are there, it helps tame frizz and flyaways and its a treatment that actually is beneficial to your hair. The bottle is on the small side but a little goes a LONG way unless you want to look like you stuck your hair in some grease than by all means lol but seriously a tiny bit, rub in your palms and rub jtno your hair , focusing on the ends and midshaft scalp will just make u oily I have naturally curly hair that is prone to dryness, it gets frizzy , its thick. I use the regular Moroccan oil treatment but there is also a light for those with finer hair , more oily , sleek type ,thinner hair that this regular one might be a little heavy for. I also apply this to dry hairz over my midshaft and ends when I feel they could use a little TLC . If theyre looking a little dry maybe just a little bit of this run through it and it will make your hair feel all soft and loveable again. I like the smell, it isnt anything strong or overpowering. This is the only hair product I do use from Moroccan oil, I am sure they do have other good products but at that price point and already being happy with my current hair care routine, Ive never felt the need to try them and I feel that this product here is their Holy Grail so to speak, like the 1 amazing stand out product where they are at the top of their game. I really love using this stuff. I have for years. My original favorite was Chi Silk Infusions and I still like that stuff but I feel this does the job better. So basically youd use something like this for heat and uv protection as well as moisture and shine. Mostly I use it for getting some moisture back in my really parched, heat abused hair for a nice, healthy and naturally shiny look. Using products like that can go wrong really fast. You can cross the line into greasy mess from shiny tresses quick. You can do that with this too if you use too much but a lot of products do that no matter how little you use. This lasts forever because even with the thickest and driest hair needs only a dime size or less warmed between the palms and lightly rubbed through every layer from root to ends with finger tips open to get every strand focusing on the ends. Ive noticed that it gives me life back to my hair. It gives me that naturally healthy movement you just dont get with fried hair. With this and changing my hair habits I have come almost all the way back from totally broken hair to healthy hair thats a little dry and has split ends. And with my current issues it makes it look like I have none. Especially when I flat iron my hair with this as a heat protectant it almost seals the cuticle completely and keeps my hair looking super healthy until my next wash. I also use it randomly to add a touch of moisture back into my hair if its really dry. Or if my ends are getting bad between trims I use this and flat iron them to seal them and make them look healthy temporarily. It also smells amazing. I love the comforting and unique almost but not quite tropical scent. Its very unique and very feminine without being like a perfume. It makes my hair smell fresh and pretty and that scent lasts for a couple days. Overall it is a little expensive but it lasts a long time so it ends up costing almost the same as the drugstore over time because if does last so long. Its just more of an initial investment. A sephora employee told me this stuff actually is bad for your hair and dries it out but I dont think it would have gotten so famous if it wasnt so great for so many people. Maybe she just had a bad experience. It wouldnt have been the first time I had been given bad information by a Sephora employee but I just thought Id mention it. I totally recommend. But only buy from authorized retailers like salons or stores like sephora, macys, and other high end retailers or it will most likely be a fake.Anonymous

Lets just say, I love Morrocanoil and have for years the product has always been consistently the same until I tried the bottle from this seller.This does not smell or feel like MoroccanoilI love my normal Morrocanoil because its Lux, silky smooth and has a specific color and wonderful smell. This product was not any of those things it was tacky it stuck to my hands and didnt glide through my hair and made my hair feel rough. It had a nice smell but not the Moroccanoil scent.I still have some Moroccanoil from my last bottle and even the color is different.This new product is not good. Not sure if I just got an off bottle or what has happened.I read over the label and it said nothing about a new formula. All I can say is this is not the signature Morrocanoil and its not a good product. It feels like castoroil.I liked the price and thats why I ordered from this seller but next time I will just pay full price at the salon because I know what Im getting.It even wasnt in its signature box or had the same colored label so that makes me more curious.I couldnt find a way to contact the seller I went to the reorder page and the sellers name was different then this one. Receiving this product around the same time I just brought a wig which was perfect. After I wash the wig I sprayed the wig not reading the directions before hand that a little goes a long way, since I sprayed too much and had to rewash it because it was too oily. After I installed the wig I use the product to keep the hair looking shiny. But the wig seem kinda worn out even tho I only had it in for a few days and only using the spray at night. I normally wear my hair natural and wanted to switch it up, so this product isn’t something I’ll use frequently. I mean when I decide to put a wig on or maybe braids I’ll try the spray again. kori.r

I’ve been wearing wigs for the past two months. Where has this product been all my life? First, I used this product on my synthetic barrel curls wig. A couple of sprays and you have a new wig! No more throwing out synthetic wigs after the life time for use runs out. The big barrel curls moved bk in place with no need for me to recurl. I just spray, fluff, and go. My long human hair curly wig held up well when this product was applied before I went out in Florida’s humility and rain. For the first time I didn’t look like a Chia Pet. I bought this when I had hair extensions and even though they are a lot now, I keep using this because nothing compares to it. When I style my hair with off the shelf serum the hairstyle lasts a day .. this serum is so good, only takes a little pinch so a lot little goes a long way and my blow dry ALWAYS turns out good and has staying power. Wigs & hair tracks are prepared w/ silicone prior when prepared. Over time of wear, silicone wears off, causing frizz and tangles. Restoring silicone base on hair revives the quality. I have heat damaged hair as you can see from the color on down. I’m still learning how to care for my natural curls and this product worked great. On wet hair the ginger smell is strong and the hair (damaged parts) were crunchy. My roots were nice and soft. My favorite this about this gel is how soft it makes my hair. It's very hydrating and conditioning to the hair, every time I use this my curls are very soft and bouncy. I have mixed it with several other leave in conditioners and creams, both from the same brand and from other brands, and I have found it mixes well with a few different products. It doesn't mix with everything, test it in your hands first, but I found a few good combos with this gel. It also gives my hair good shine, I really loved that. My wash n go's always lasted a few days with this gel. I wish it had a little more hold, I'd say this is like medium hold. It didn't give a strong cast, which may or may not be a good thing depending on your preference. Even without strong hold, it's still a great and dependable gel. I used this product a couple of times for wigs but I didn't really like the after fact if it . When I used this product against my wigs it made it look synthetic . This product is basically a detangler , but when I used it after doing French braid it made the braid shine very nicely . Instead of using the product for wigs try braidsedrianna.o

I've used this product for several years, and like it a lot. The wig shop where I bought my wig recommended it to me, and I purchased my first bottle with the wig. Since then, I've had no reason to switch brands. It seems like a small bottle (8oz), but you only use a small amount in a sink full of water so a bottle lasts a long time. (I probably average 6 months per bottle, but your mileage will vary with the length of your wig, and how often you shampoo it). My wig is synthetic BTW. i love this! i have fine 2a hair and bought this to define my waves and condition my dry hair at the same time. i use this on wet/damp hair as a gel and on dry hair to revive my waves and lock my style in place before braiding my hair. it doesn’t leave any crunchiness or residue and it doesn’t weigh my hair down in any way. i think this is a great versatile product that can work on any hair type, although i would be cautious if you have hair that’s prone to being over moisturized because the ingredients are very nourishing. also – i absolutely love the scent! i know all camille rose products come with heavy fragrance and while that may not be some people’s thing, it’s a huge plus for me. i love sweet gourmand fragrances and this is no exception. i anticipate this jar lasting me a very long time but i will definitely repurchase when the time comes!z

So thin curls beware that this is def a heavier product.. but ooweeee i def see a difference when using this! Less hair breakage, more conditioning & actually long lasting curl hold! I mostly do wash n gos so idk how it is for twist outs. Im actually kinda scared because it can weigh my hair down. Another con is that while it does define curls, it will kind of seal it so my thin curls will almost look stringy & see through because its almost like a gel.. if that makes sense. If you have thinner curls i feel like you get me! But i believe this is my 2nd or 3rd purchase of this but it honestly will be my last bcus of the cons. Im more looking for volumizing products that give me the hydration, anti breakage & longevity that this gives! But for thicker hair?? You guys will LOOVEEEE this! I have only used it once so far but I did enjoy using it in conjunction with the Camille Rose Coconut Water Leave in. I let the leave in sink into my hair and just wet it the next day before applying this cream. I think you could use it on the same day you wash but have not tried this way yet as I was looking for a more elongated style and wanted my hair to stretch out more and be more on the damp side when twisting. I would follow the directions though and use on wet or damp to wet hair than on dry hair. I was looking for something to twist my hair and keep it moisturized and more clumped together so it could maintain moisture under my protective styles and was pleased with how long the moisture lasted in my hair and how it helped to reduce frizz. I did undo the twists to see it it would have a lasting hold and I was satisfied. I would like to, down the line, do a twist out with the product for a longer period and see how long the definition would last but the moisture lasted me about 3 days before I felt the need to re moisturize it, not to be confused with washing it over again, but scrunching in a moisturizer to keep my hair from getting dry. I do think using a butter on top would further help maintain moisture like the Camille Rose Brown Butter Melt or to help further control frizz, especially if it's humid, but great moisture and hold for my 4B/4C high porosity coils that honestly need a lot of moisture to keep my coil definition and more importantly moisture in my hair. Really worth the money to me and the best twisting butter I have tried.Faith

The Virtue 6-in-1 styler is a styling cream that texturizes, protects and adds shine. I love this formula! It’s lightweight and sheer and it smells great. It has a subtle “woodsy” scent. I applied a small amount (the instructions say a quarter size) to my dry hair and massaged it into my hair. The texture felt great- very lightweight and sheer, no greasiness at all. The result was amazing! It gave my hair much needed texture and brought back the “life” in my hair! I wasn’t crazy about this when I used it in my hair damp/wet but I really like how it works in my hair when it’s dry. I hair thin, fine hair so I can only use a teeny drop. I warm it in my hands then scrunch it into my hair after I’ve dried and curled it. It gives my curls a softness along with some texture. When I do this it also makes my hair stay better in a pony tail or bun. It does also add shine but I don’t apply to root area or it will make it a bit flat. If you use dry shampoo this also helps bring back shine after so hair won’t look dry or powdery. I received the 6-in-1 styler complimentary from Virtue Labs in return for my honest review. This product delivers- it hits all 6 points on it’s label. I love the light, but clean, fresh scent. I used this product on my damp hair prior to blow-drying. My hair is coarse in texture, but is curly/wavy so it can be a bit unruly at times. It left it smooth, less frizz, helped my dry hair come back to life. I also used it to smooth out the ends of my hair in a ponytail. My hair looked polished and I ultimately love that it protects my hair from heat. My hair looked amazing for days.
