20 Justin Chiasson Wig For Sale (2023 Update)

I received this wig – # A1228, Meg Whisperlite Petit in SF 51/60. I returned it because it appeared to have been a return. It was thinned out or trimmed in some way that completely changed the style. I ordered and paid for a new wig. I own 7 of these wigs in this style, color and size, so I know what they should look like. I was very disappointed. This is actually the second time this has happened to me, but this time instead of trying to make the best of it and use something I was not happy with, I returned it for an exchange. I don’t think I should have to pay any restock charge or any other charge for this return. It was your fault in sending me a defective wig, not mine. I wear them as styled straight out of the box as they are. I am telling you, this one did not look like, nor was it the quality I have had in the past with this wig. I am not happy.Jo

This order is yet another attempt to find something that is wearable from PY. I bought 2 of these Meg wigs in different colors, and sent back the Lt Blonde, it looked like a light bulb on my head. The other one in Platinum blonde looks like a barbie dolls hair. I powdered it but it still glows. I paid my hair dresser to cut it down, and I trimmed it again. Pro: This order looked new, unworn. (My first looked very worn, I returned it.) Cons: Netting in front shows unless you plaster hair down just right. Sides & back are way too thick. Mine's been trimmed 2 times and it's still too much. The picture shows the hair off the neck, but after wearing the wig for 6 hours, my neck & upper back where the hair rubbed it was red and sore from the scratchy synthetic hair. I used the wrap band to keep it in place, and knew the wig made me extremely hot but when I took the wig off, my whole head was a sweaty mess. I haven't worn it since. I hate it. I ordered 2 Wiglets 7 days ago, in Humane Hair to see if that can work. They were suppose to "arrive no later than 4pm today," but no show. (I've come to NOT rely on this company's word though. So it didn't surprise me. Who knows when they'll show up.) Hope this review will help others. Keep your expectations very low with PY.LISA

You’ve changed the Meg wig, and not for the better. I bought this wig in 2015 and I loved it. Last year my sister bought the same wig. She came to my house with it, not happy. Saying differs than one I bought. I didn’t think she was right then. I do now, after recently buying again. It’s shorter. And let me say, I got a recent catalog, saw many I liked. The problem, only a select few in petite sizes. So I not Meg again, and disappointed in the change.Linda

This is the third codi I have bought. I love this wig because it looks natural and the cap is so comfortable. I have medical hair loss with a sensitive scalp and this is the best cap I've found. I wear it all the time, definitely my go to wig!Geralyn C.

Unfortunately, this keeps happening over and over. The Rene of Paris wigs I buy are usually on clearance and therefore I cannot return them. I have finally learned my lesson. It isn't the fault of Wigstudio1 – they are wonderful to do business with – it is the manufacturer. I am sure there are plenty of ROP's wigs that are nice but every one I have purchased, the fibers are are dry and feel like matted doll hair. Wyatt is no different. And it has an excessive amount of permatease. That said, I don't like permatease and so I typically go for those with very little so this particular wig seemed to have an excessive amount. I had a couple of other ROP wigs that didn't and others say that this didn't so maybe it was just this one piece. I tried washing it with Jone Renau shampoo and conditioner and used a conditioning spray and it just got even more dried out, matted and I could not tame the permatease. It looked like a big pink mushroom cloud on top of my head. All of this said, the color is beautiful. I do like the watermelon R and wish I could find something similar, but in another brand. Anyway, I am sorry to leave this review but I wanted others to know my experience. Of course it seems it worked out great for others so perhaps it was just my particular piece or my being finicky.erin

I debated this wig for a long time because in most media, the bangs seem wonky, and in some review videos, it seems kinda poofy in a dated way. I've become tired of buying wigs that require a bunch of work before I consider them ready to wear. Anyway… Right out of the box, I saw that, why yes, these bangs will need work, but overall the wig looked very promising, and marble-r is such a soft and very believable color. The cap is very well done and realistic. So, Angela has a side part, yet the bangs turn in toward it, instead of following the flow and direction of the side part. It just isn't how someone would do their hair. The hair has A LOT of return hair in it, especially the bangs, aka the worst place to have an abundance of it. Return hair are fibers that are shorter than the rest and they tend to stick out. I feel like Rene of Paris monotop wigs tend to have a lot of return hair. You can carefully steam them (or carefully use either a hot air brush, or even more carefully, a hair dryer with a concentrator nozzle–not recommended by manufacturers or retailers, but I do it out of sheer frustration. Those return hairs are stubborn.) I needed to trim the bangs. I steamed the bangs to improve the direction and return hairs. There's enough return hair throughout the body of the wig that it makes it look a little "ratty at the back", as my bff said. I want to take the time to tame the rest of the return hair, but I haven't yet. It's also a little tangly in general, but I'm trying to be careful with it and not brush it as much as I really want to… The monotop is not comfortable, but hopefully that's just this unit, and it improves with wearing and washing. It's a little tight on my average (but leaning toward large) head. The ear tabs sit on a good spot near my ears. It has wave but is not poofy. I like the length and shape of it, long, feminine, like I tried to look nice by giving my hair a once-over with a bigger-barreled curling iron. You could definitely wear this up or down, make it look more casual, or dressier. I only wish it had more color choices. The color options on this one are dismal. (You can see all the colors on the actual ROP site.) They came out with what looks like a related wig just now, and it's color choices are just as lacking. I don't know who is approving these color options, but they're apparently from the Henry Ford school of thought, "they can have any color they want as long as it's black." I would repurchase this wig but there's no other color that grabs me, so I'll say that if it ages nicely, so far I feel that I would buy another down the road when it's time to retire this one. If they had more color choices, I would buy another, and soon, to see if I like it as well as I do this one so far.Jay

I’ve been looking for a short pixie with a side swept bang, and—finally—this is it! What I like about Amara: 1) It’s very short at the nape. The hair barely touches my collar. 2) it’s a snug fit. When you bend your head forward, it doesn’t slide, flip up, or move off your neck at all. (I don’t worry about this wig at all when I’m sailing.) 3) Although it is a short wig, it still has that classic ROP profile with a tapered back and a little “poof” at the crown. 5) The bang. I love me a side swept bang! 6) The hair is nice and short around the ears. Usually I have to tuck the hair of every wig behind my ears, but not this one. 7) The color (Creamy Blond) is very neutral. I have cool undertones and look terrible in blonds that are yellow. This is definitely a platinum, but a slightly warm platinum—not white at all. Balanced. Neutral. What I don’t like about Amara: 1) Some of the layered hairs flip out a little in the back instead of laying straight with the rest. If I can’t tame them, I’m going to carefully clip them off. What some others might not like about Amara: 1) This style has a basic cap with perma-tease, no mono anything, and no lace front. It’s doesn’t have a ton of perma-tease but enough to keep the volume. Upon close inspection of the crown, your wig secret may be exposed. However, it’s no worse and probably better than most other wigs with basic caps. Personally, I like the volume from perma-tease and don’t give a hoot whether people know I wear wigs (all my friends know anyways). 2) The cap is tight! Probably not a good choice for a larger head. But, I like a tight cap. It’s not so tight that I get a headache. 3) Ear tabs are short. This wig won’t work if you need to cover a lot of bio- hair at your side burns. Overall, this is the wig I’ve been looking for and I’m happy with my purchase.Marie

I ordered Justine in TT30 and by far this is my favorite wig. I plan to order a back up one as well the color and cut was beautiful wore it a couple times and has gotten alot of compliments as it looks natural.DeShawaun M.

I purchased this unit in TT3147 and it is absolutely beautiful. The unit has a standard cap construction, with two combs in the front and one in the back with adjustable straps and it is big head friendly. I have not experienced any shedding or tangling and the unit lays flat and is very comfortable on. It looks just like my natural hair with a perm. Love it!!!Tia T.

Some say she’s like Jackson’s more sophisticated sister with a lace front & mono top. What’s not to love? The expanded color choice is also much appreciated. Reed keeps getting better, the more we work together. The permatease around the back & sides needed a little taming but the fibers are hearty, the cut flattering and she has a comfortable fit. The mono top is the best, once you dig in and start exploring the parting options. Looking forward to playing with cute clips. I’d love to see what Taz can do with Reed, she sold me on Hayden a few months ago which I have in Melted Marshmallow as well. I am a cancer survivor and have permanently lost my hair from chemotherapy. It's been a devastating time and hard to find a wig that looked like what my "real hair" looked like and something that wasn't so bouffant. This wig is perfect. It looks a little different than the pictures, but actually looks better. The waves flip under and frame your face. I am so happy I discovered Wilshire. I've just received my new Brad wig and I have to say it's great! It does not look like a wig and is really natural looking. The only complaint that I would make is that the front and top isn't as long as the wig featured in the video and the model wearing the black jacket. Other than that the wig looks great. It actually resembles the way my hair used to look when I was in high school. Now days my hair is beginning to thin and I think that this Brad wig will be the more affordable solution to hair replacement. My friends honestly thought I got a hair cut and couldn't tell. I'll be ordering more. I may try the Johnny next.Andrew

I think this is a great mens' wig. I've had many compliments which is a "ego" booster. The color is great and I had the back neckline trimmed up a bit. If need be I'll probably order the same wig in the future.Ray

I buy a lot of cheap wigs and this is the worst one at this price point. The cap doesn’t lay flat on my head but comes to a point, it’s very itchy, you can’t use heat so the bangs can’t be straightened (mine came with a curl to them), and when I went to trim the bangs I realized the entire haircut was uneven (I’m a hairstylist). I evened the cut but one side has less hair to it and the hair at the nape won’t lay down, just sticks out awkwardly, so there’s only so much I could do. It was also very shiny. If you want a project, something to put a lot of work into (without being able to use heat) than go for it, but I would not recommend this wig.Melissa

I hate that you can’t return it after it’s opened. It is very frizzy and impossible to brush out. There’s no edge detail so it sets weird on the hairline.Alli

Hi, I have been purchasing this Shannon wig for 8yrs now and have "Never" been dis-appointed! The Shannon wig is not only durable for daily wear and holds up very well wash after was it also, is my go to wig for a quick updo for special occasions!!! My color of choice is Wheat Rooted because I have fair skin and green eyes and boy does this rooted color make my eyes pop!!! For some reason unknown to doctors when I was just 24yrs old I lost all my hair over a span of 8 months and battling cervical cancer as well! As a young woman I was devastated and experiencing depression, chemo was brutal to say the least. I had a young family to raise and had to hold down a high pressure job where personal appearances mattered!!! So needless to say I was forced into buying those old fashioned bulky and ugly wigs. Then came the more natural looking wigs that were way over priced. All I can say is thank you Wig.com and Paula Young for making such durable cute and chic looking wigs at such affordable prices!!! I also, have purchased Avery wig and Nola wig and I'm currently deciding to purchase the new Sloane wig (if you haven't checked out any of these wigs, please do so)!!! The "Special Bonus" is all of these wigs are "Versa Fiber Wigs" as well as Heat Friendly. This is key to all of the wigs I have mentioned being extremely durable shampoo after shampoo & conditioner to holding up so well!!! You can stick your head near the oven when cooking, take a walk on a hot and or humid day, sunbathe etc..etc and all of these wigs will hold up to all of what I just mentioned! Of course don't forget to purchase the correct wig shampoo, wig spray conditioner and wig spray found on both Wig.com and Paula Young. These accessories are really very important for proper wig care!!! Also, if you can afford it please splurge on a good wig stand and wig travel case, which are also found on Wig com. Stay tuned because I will be posting photos of the above mentioned wigs really soon. I will show you the various ways they can be effortlessly styled in updos and curled or just straight out of the box after just a few shakes!!! I’ve worn Shannon for many years and I love it! I’ve tried other styles, I always go back to my favorite, Shannon. I get compliments all the time! I’ve had beautician friends that were shocked when I told them I had a wig on! They fry very quickly and are so easy to style. I lost most of my hair because of medication that I take for a bladder and thyroid disease. Paula Young has changed my life with the Shannon wig. I am forever grateful. I am 74 years old. The pictures are recent, my kids say I look much younger with the wig! ♥️JoAnn

Nora is a delightful fluff and go style with waves and almost curls. I got it in color 38, which is light ash brown with grey. It is supposed to be light ash brown with 25 percent grey (it seems a bit more than that;) It would be nice if Paula Young had at least one style featured in this color. The ash brown is very close to my natural color (a bit lighter) but Nora has more grey than I do personally. Nora arrived smelling absolutely wretched; I almost gagged when I opened the box. I had to wash the wig immediately. I used Paula Young shampoo. I thought I detected the (fumigant?) odor even after the wash, but when Nora dried, she no longer smelled. When I first put her on after she'd dried she was not pretty and the curls were mashed against the cap. I shook her vigorously and then took a wide tooth comb and really brought the fibers up off the cap. I wasn't rough, but I was deliberate in going over the entire wig to revive the fibers. I was able to achieve a style very similar to the catalog photo. In my photos, Nora has a more shag-like appearance, but once on she can be fluffed to the rounded silhouette of the catalog photo. Nora fits my 22.25 inch head comfortably and could be adjusted to go even a bit larger, or smaller. I find the fibers dry to the touch and just a bit coarser than my own very fine hair (although Nora's fiber does not look coarse.) Nora is comfortable to wear and an adorable style that goes with dressy as well as casual outfits. If you are prepared to spend a few moments waking Nora up after you first get her home, I think you will be pleasantly surprised at her fluff and go versatility. Coverage around the ears and nape is great.Lisa

When this DANCE wig and COLOR ME EXQUISITE wigs arrived, upon removing them from the box they were cute, and the colors were pretty and the best thing they had going for them, However, they didn't look much like the ones the models in the pictures wore. And there is too much perma tease or "fluff" to them. They had really no style to them at all. Especially in the front, just couldn't do much with them. And didn't want to try since being careful with them is a must when trying them on. Very disappointed with these wigs. In my humble opinion they were not great and not keepers. So I am returning them and probably won't buy anymore wigs again. Sorry PY but your wigs need to be lighter weight, lay nicer, (some of us like a bit flatter style) far less perma tease or fluff, easier to wear right out of the box…Thanks anyway…Juanita

I am completely disappointed with my purchase. I ordered two of this wig because I really like the look of the style in the picture. The wigs I received will not comb into the style shown. The top is spiked and will only stand straight up and the bangs stick straight out and will not lay nicely against the forehead. I tried to tame it down with wig spray and hair gel but it won't lay down. The top hair stands straight up and the bangs stick straight out. The wig will not comb into a nice smooth pixie like the picture shows. I would not recommend a person buy this wig unless you want spiked hair that stands straight up at the top of your head and bangs that stick straight out at your forehead. The style does not resemble the picture at all !Eve

This wig is different than any others I’ve ever had. It took me a long time using steam, and product to get it not to stand straight up in the front. It is finally allowing me to bring a little of it down into a side bang without poking out and I can get the rest of the top to stay back. The hair fiber is far from shiny which is a dead give away for a wig so that is good, but it actually looks like dried out hair. The color and bit of curl are new to me too, the bulk as well, I have thinned it a little, but that is why I wanted to try something different. I think it looks like real hair although it is my least favorite lace front I have ever owned. Along the right temple side of my head, the edge of the wig has a thick seam so I need to make sure the hair is laying down rather than back right there. I will try to add a photo later.Jeri S

I've owned BT Caliente in Vanilla Lush previously and I loved it. This one I just returned was very ill fitting. The lace front was so tight that it hurt. The ear tabs came no where near they were supposed to. The nape of the cap was roomy. I released the tabs as far as they would go to try to loosen the front of the cap but it didn't help. I even took it to my wig stylist to get a second opinion and she confirmed everything as well. Why did I not give it 1 star? They hair was great quality and great color just like it always has been. I will order another one on the hopes that this was just a fluke.Angela R.

This was the most comfortable first "real" wig I purchased. Out of the box it looks amazing. And next day, even better. I did not use tape or glue to hold it down. Everyone at work commented on how pretty my hair was. It was such a boost to my confidence as I have had hair loss for about 13 years due to PCOS and then early menopause. Style is cute! Density is believable. Length is right below my shoulders, so the fibers are wearing pretty quickly. The lace front is gorgeous. I’ve found BelleTress colors to be so wonderful but their heat defiant fibers get frazzled pretty quickly – Nothing a little heat won’t fix though. BelleTress caps are big on me, but I’m a petite headed person. I wear grips with my BT wigs. Mine is Roca Margarita Blonde, and I absolutely love this color.Julie W.

I love this wig. I wanted something super casual and wearable, and this is perfect. You can puff it up and add volume, or smooth it down for a more streamlined profile. I love the center part, and the curtain bangs stay out of my face without having to pin them back. Rootbeer Float Blonde is my new favorite, mostly because Butterbeer has a strange colored root…sort of burgundy. This is very similar but much more of an ash base. They are both beautiful, but I find this color a little more natural looking. I am all about natural looking wigs. If you want something for your jeans and sweatshirt days, this is it. I have been a wearer of wigs and hair pieces all my life…partly because I like to change my look but mainly because my natural hair is the consistency of steel wool. And to make matters worse, I started losing my hair over 15 years ago so it's been very important to me to find wigs that not only are affordable but also look realistic. And that's where things get difficult. Or at least until now. I had seen pictures for the Shakerato wig by BelleTress and I couldn't get over how natural it looked. I've always wanted to try a lace front but thought it would be too complicated to wear – I thought all lace front wigs had to be glued down. That is not the case with this wig. The thin lace front blends seamlessly into my own skin and gives the illusion of hair sprouting from my own forehead which is something I have not seen in many years. I chose the darkest color, Coffee without cream, and even though it is dark it still manages to be multi-dimensional with just the slightest variants of different shades of dark browns. And in addition to the beautiful and rich color, the wig is so lightweight that within minutes of putting it on I had forgotten that I was wearing a wig. I’ve worn wigs for 4 years now and have an extensive collection. I’ve purchased multiple Belle Tress wigs because I do love the coconut blonde color for summer (pictures attached) and feel for the price you get a decent wig with an absolutely gorgeous lace front. I put the Lady Latte wig on and loved it immediately, so I removed the tags and wore her to work after a quick styling. It was a few hours later that I realized there were multiple strands of hair poking out of the left side of the wig. I have never experienced this before on any wig I’ve owned. I literally had to take scissors and cut those strands off at the cap. There was a crease imbedded into an entire weft with no way to fix or style the wig to cover the strands that were sticking out. This is a light density wig with no room for this kind of defect. My advice to anyone is to very carefully look at ALL the wefts on your wigs to ensure there are no weirds kinks that are creased into the strands of hair!Jill T.

Rylee is my favorite — I bought the ginger-brown to try and match my natural color and previous wigs. this color was exactly as expected. plus, the cap fit and adjusted well so that the hairline looks natural even after weeks of everyday wear. it does shed, but so has every wig I've bought. plus, despite that shedding is annoying in terms of "cleaning" up the mess, it doesn't really take away from how real the wig looks. any fraying at the ends can be offset by a trim (I did this myself!), since Rylee has the upside of longer hair. I will purchase again!anonymous

As a first time wig buyer, my remarks will no doubt have those of you more experienced rolling your eyes. Firstly, this is not a "take from box, shake out, put on your head and go wig." I had to work with it quite a bit and I'm still not quite satisfied with the style. The color is lovely, the fit is good. The straw-like texture of the hair is a little disappointing, especially around the face. I believe it has possibilities and I am going to keep it. It is the best of the six wigs I tried with other companies and returned. Photo doesn't really represent the actual color and look of the wig on my head, but here goes.Rebecca L.

Felicity is simply a great all around girl! The fibers are not too shiny, realistic and comb out easily. It's a no frills cap, that would fit an average, however because my head is petite, I take her in, to remove the bulk. One does however have to really work with obscuring the permatease. But the more you move the fibers around, it's great. I love wearing mine in a twisted updo. I do trim the length, but that's my personal preference as I have a petite face. Too long of a length isn't as flattering. At such a great price point, I'd recommend her. Also fast shipping! 😃Melody W.
