20 Kiki Sheard Wig For Sale (2024 Update)

The description states "Headband" while in actuality it's a scarf. It also has two combs (one in front, one in back) to attach the wig to the hair on your head. I have no hair. I would not have purchased this style had I known the correct specifications. Since I read the reviews about the poor customer service when requesting a refund I found a way to secure the wig to my bald head. That being said, the wig looks great and I love how the braids are finished with twists. The color works with my skin tone. I'm glad I was able to make it work and it will not end-up on my closet shelf.Shauna

After waiting several weeks for my wig. I was so excited it finally arrived. Open the box and pulled out the wig to try it on it was damaged. You could imagine how I felt the disappointment after waiting for a long time. I scarf tie is cumbersome. I thought it a stretched band and not a long loose tie. I love the braids but I don't care for the tie thing. If you were going to design it to tie consider the length.It's not long enough to wrap around and come back to the front. So there is a lot of the tie hanging down in the back. I tied a bow, but that's too bulky. Should've been on a stretchable band.Sadie

Overall I love this wig! It is giving me life! I purchased this wig in a 1b and I purchased it for $79.99. #1 thing i love about this wig is that I can slap it on my head without combing it or having to style it. It does come with baby hair in the front that was too long for my liking so I had to cut it a little bit. It comes with a 4×4 swiss lace but thing i hate about that is that the parting stop short and then the sides of the wig are just clumped together without the parting space of each box braid, making it look a little wigish but of course you can hide it. Another thing about this unit is that it's braided most of the way down but then afterwards it is twisted at the ends. You can seal the ends with hot water not not required. I would give this unit 5 stars but due to how the parting stops on the side and the way the braids are clumped together, that was a little bit of a disappointment. I used to worry that because I have fine hair I would not never be able to get SENEGALESE twists but this wig completely resolved my issue and it exceeded my expectations. When I wear it, I honestly forget it’s a wig! It’s made with such detail as if you sat down for 6 hours to get your hair twisted! The baby hairs are perfect. I sealed the ends with hot water and always keep it lengthened on a wig head to prevent damage to the twists. I highly recommend this wig 100% and plan to purchase another in a different color. I ordered two of these wig styles. I wore the gray one to a mother's day brunch. As I was standing by my car, a lady called out Madia as she was passing by in her car. She thought I looked like the Tyler Perry character. I will never wear that wig again. The black one was designed with way too much hair. The hair does not fall correctly and it has too many layers. I tried it on, and it looked ridiculous. The wigs were supposed to be the exact same style, but they were not.Linda

As soon as I took the hair out of the box, the ends seemed really tough and frizzy, to the point where the comb gets stuck. Because the quality is so poor, I ensure extremely gentle combing but somehow one of the tracks has already broken within the first 1-2 weeks. The **** are that once you tint the lace/add makeup and cut your baby hairs, the hairline blends really week and looks realistic. If you’re more of an expert at tailoring your own wigs then this isn’t too bad, but you won’t be able to wear it for too long because of the quality. My first short unit! I absolutely love Ms. Charlie! This is a sassy little cut that started a chain reaction for me. I have typically worn extremely long units, until it got super hot this summer and I just couldn't take that much hair on my head. Hair is shedding as I unpack it from original package. Ends and curls are frizzy and does not look as shown on website. I called I was told it will cost me about $10 to exchange. Why? Merchandise is of poor quality, cut-throat customer service. I am not happy and can't wear this wig. I refuse to exchange for a fee. The color was nice on this wig, but I could not see how it would really look on me. I ordered the other mixed colored one, as well. I had to leave the cardboard attached. There is no way to see how I would look without a big piece of cardboard hanging from the wig. So, I guess I will never really know, since I returned both colors of this wig.Wynona

Well wasted my money yet again. The photo looks like a nice short wig. Once i opened it. there as a dead bug right on the top. Which means it was killed in transit. the wig has 10 times more hair than the wig in the photo. I can’t even wear it!! I Wasted my money!! Tried to trim it. it looked even worse. It's a great FULL braided wig. There is a little bulkiness toward the front with a few to many braids and it's a little heavy. I think it's more for fill faced and larger head women that can fill it out better. The braids are beautiful and sealed it never sheds. They are like feed-in cornrows box braid thickness if that makes sense. I do recommend buying just beware they are a little thicker.Keisha

I have seen several reviews of this wig and thought I wouldn't be able to pull it off. I ordered it anyway, and I can't seem to take it off…which is unlike me, because I love to switch my wigs weekly. I love the realistic look of the wig. I would definitely recommend this wig. I love the fullness and how versatile you can style it. As with any synthetic wigs, it tangles. All you have to do is either a blowout or flatiron it to prevent tangling.Mariama M.

This is really good quality hair for this price. The lace is incredibly thin making it look like it’s coming from your scalp. Easy to install and comes with a nice elastic strap attached to the cap. The cap is well made and breathable. The only reason why I’m not giving it 5 stars is because the lace is SUPER delicate. Because it’s thin it’s really easy to rip so be gentle when styling. Highly recommend, communication was also good. Be mindful that hair will probably take a little long to reach you tho.Tatyana T.

Ladies I have a small head but this wig is very big head friendly lots of room. With that being said I would like to see this wig with band install. The hair has some tangle easy fix with conditionor. Lace will require some time not a grab & go unit. However, this is a gorgeous unit and I received lots of compliments in her I named her Miss November.Chantel C.

This wig is big head friendly, the curls fit my face well, and I like the length. The lace looks very believable and there's ample parting space. This wig should come with a strap because the front of the wig tends to slip back often. This wig lasted one and a half months before it became visible tattered. Hard to brush and comb without it frizzing up, but it lasted me a total of three months, wearing it daily. I have to wash it twice a month because it holds on to surrounding odors easily.Blair

This is the beginning of my journey so my issues may be just that I am starting this journey kicking and screaming. I know all the YouTube reviewers say this is wonderful and fun but it isn't what I want to do – I wish my bio hair looked like this wig. It is lovely – soft and flattering for probably anyone. However, I may still return, I have tried in on for a bit several days in a row, still not sure. These may be things I just have to live with now that I have to do this to have normal 'hair'. 1.) Lace front – if I do keep this one, I will NEVER buy a lace front again. Unfortunately, it is very hard to find a nice, well made hairpiece without it because everyone else seems to love lace front – NOT ME. I don't like that you cannot pull your bio hair out from under (I know that it is great if you have no hair, but I have plenty around my face and would like to incorporate – Sincerely Yours by RW was perfect but too short). And though it DOES look very nice (I really didn't think it would look so realistic, it truly looks like a real hairline up close), it is HORRIBLY itchy. Like stiff, itchy netting and I can't wait to take it off. Maybe if I try gluing it won't itch so much? 2. I TOO much hair, as with most all of the hair pieces. While I can make this one work because it thankfully isn't LOADED up with that fake feeling/looking permatease (I know some people love it, I do NOT on me), it is still GOBS of hair. I push my hair behind my ears and I would have to have massive ears to fit the gobs falling in front of my face behind my ear; it is like trying to tuck a large rope behind my ear. Not sure why manufacturers think someone who has had hair loss or very thin hair all of the sudden will feel comfortable with a wooly mammoth strapped tightly to their raw noggin. Again, this one could be okay because I could take thinning shears to it and make it work if I keep this wig. 3. Speaking of the front bit… as other reviewers remarked, OMG does it want to go in your face. I don't want to use any product or heat on it yet because I am not sure I am keeping it so VERY difficult to tell if it will work because that is absolutely a problem. Would probably have to thin and cut that into layers – it is very pretty but no one goes around with a big chunk of hair hanging down like that all day. All of the hair on the cap is geared to go absolutely FORWARD, not sure why. It is something that would have to be worked out with heat, water and product. 4. Cap construction – Not super comfortable. Again, this is all new to me so maybe I am doing something wrong. I am using a wig grip so not sure if that adds to my discomfort. I will say that the seams around the mono part are thick and itchy. I would rather a whole mono top or a basic cap, rather than that seamed bit. Too much going on in the cap. So – if you are a regular wig wearer, this style will probably work for you; I am just not use to all these itches and things going on my head. Sort of like a pretty but uncomfortable underwire bra – you can deal but can't wait to get it off at the end of the day – that is how it feels for me. If this had the cap of the Sincerely Yours, I would have found my piece. Again, not sure if I am returning or not, but it is so expensive for me, for them not to be spot on. I need something that looks like ME and I can wear every day and it looks like normal, non-poufy, non-shiny hair and isn't going to rub my ear or itch my head, etc. I am probably hoping for too much. 🙁LJT

Cap is so comfortable. I had to cut on the bangs a little because they went directly into my eyes. However! The color more than made up for it. The eggplant shade is absolutely beautiful and perfect for the fall season! If your bio hair is or was brown and you are looking for brown yet with a twist of pow…. Choose this color! I have yet to be disappointed with the Raquel Welch brand wigs. Thank you Wigstudio1 for always getting my orders to me in such a timely manner. Makes me so happy to know an order is heading my way. I just wish I had discovered wigs many years ago when I started losing my bio hair would have saved me many tears when I was buying every product out there to get my hair back. I‘m a huge Raquel Welch wigs fan, it’s my favorite brand. And I had my eyes on this style for a while and think the stock photo looks fabulous. But it’s my first and last style in regular synthetic. I love the True2Life HD fibers by Raquel Welch, they look and feel like human hair. But these are just extremely shiny and it has a lot of hair! The color Glazed Sand is really nice and the lace front on this style is impeccable, and as this was my first unrooted color, it’s even better and more undetectable than the rooted colors. But everyone tells me that this style looks like an old woman and I‘m just too young to look that old… 😅 Of course Wigstudio1 is not to blame, their service was first class, as always!Sarah C.

I had several problems with this wig. At first, I didn't understand what the problem was and then I figured out that the major issue was that it was too big for my head. Also, there's so much hair that it made it look unnatural on me. Another major problem is that the root color on the blonde (I tried light and medium) is much, much, much too dark unless you are a natural dark brunette and you would actually let your roots grow out that long. I will say that other than that, the color shading of the blondes was very nice. I never wore this outside the house because I thought the hair strands looked too much like nylon inside the house and thought they'd really look bad in the sun. There is no curl to this wig as shown in the online photos. It is stick straight so prepare for that. I got red/gold which is more gold than red but is pretty. The roots are very dark so looks like someone with very dark brown hair dyed their hair red/gold and now need to touch it up. The amount of hair is thinner which I like. The bangs are very long and will need trimming unless you want bangs hanging in your face. May or may not keep, on the fence. The good thing is the plus size gives us ladies with larger heads a good fit! I don't hate this wig, I just don't love it!NYNY75

Starting in a new role at work & needed to step it up for video calls. The ole hair-pulled-up-in-a-ponytail-no-makeup look had to go. This is a perfect, easy & quick way to pull together a professional look. Always been a blond so I got the platinum, but also got a blond-red one for fun. I like both but neither came with the nylon wig cap. I was worried if regular fit would give me a headache if worn all day so I ordered plus. Still considering exchanging for regular but will first try with wig cap so I don’t have to hassle with exchanges. I’m almost 67 & my own hair is thinning so much it’s been hard to style my bangs. Wow! This wig is lovely! I really didn't have to do much, other than to cut bangs for it, and it was absolutely, perfect for Sleeping Beauty. This wig was unlucky enough to be the first wig I ever took scissors to. However, it held up great and was a joy to work with. 🙂 I do want to add that some of the stitches in the size-adjustment ribbon were coming out. I know how to sew, so this was not a big issue and definitely not worth my docking any points from the quality of the wig, itself.Greta H

As soon as I put the wig on, the clasp to tighten the wig, broke off, and where you clip it on the wig, also ripped off. So now, the wig does not fit properly. I will have to sew pieces back together to be able to tighten the wig. The curls get messed up real quick and it’s extremely frizzy.Anonymous

The color is beautiful. If you look for a very natural looking warm blonde tone! The 'strawberry color' is mixed with blonde highlights. I love it a lot as it's exactly what I was looking for. If you want a 'more orange' colored wig, I'd recommend another one though! The thickness is very good! It also has a V shape at the front, where the lace sits. Keep that in mind! I liked the look of it. The curls are easily brushed and won't tangle that much. A little bit is normal though. For this thickness it's awesome. I love it and would recommend it any time!Anonymous
