After I received my order it was apparent that the color was just not a good one for me. I had ordered two wigs, both the same color and found that in person they were just very fake and not a natural look at all. I sent them back and then after reading the instruction found that over half the amount I paid for them was to be deducted due to the various charges they put on returns. I am very upset at this change in policy and cannot see myself using Paula Young Wigs in the future. I have been a faithful customer for over 15 years, so sorry, not anymore.Carol
A few months ago, I ordered the "Alex" wig. I love it! I ordered a second one so that I would always have it ready. While the first one was – and stil is – perfect, the second one is straggly and sloppy looking. When I first took it out of the box and followed directions (shaking, etc,) it looked ok. I put it aside til I could get a styrofoam head. Once I put it on that, it showed itself. I cannot wear it. I have not worn it. Unfortunately, I did take the tag off when I thought it was going to be ok. Please take it back and send me one that looks like the first one.Rosemary
I received the wig in a couple of weeks of ordering..I tried it on but it kept slipping off my head. The velcro tapes were set to the tightest setting. I took the wig to my hairdresser thinking it should be cut as the style was so weird.. She told me to wash it first in fairly hot water so some of the crushing from shipping would come out.. Seriously after wearing it for 30 seconds it looked like I was a cone head!! The inside just above the bangs there is a circle of heavy knit capping.. Not the stretch lace like the rest of the wig liner is made from…This is advertised as a whisper lite wig?…My head dripped with sweat in a few minutes as it just does not breathe the same as my other wigs? My hairdresser suggested it not be cut but to somehow get it made smaller. I have Alopecia so have bought and worn wigs for some years. I have always had wigs come with a stretchy lace type liner with metal adjustable clips on the elastic straps. I live in Canada so not an option to return the wig with the high postage, tax paid and the exchange rate…. So I bought some crazy glue to cinch up the elastic tapes making them shorter.. that was a total mess as the glue did not adhere the same as my other many wigs have done when the elastic stretched out.. I then pinched the material together to sew it on each side to tighten to fit my head.. I have always worn an average size wig… This one with that hard thick cone or dome inside was something else!!! Why did I take the added expense of a hairdresser as well as buying the glue?? The color of the wig and the style now that I have the cap fitting properly suits me to no end!! I look stunning in it and it looks like my own hair. My hairdresser says it does not look at all like a wig….So I made all of these compromises! I suggest that they make this Wig in all sizes so we don't have to glue or sew our fingers trying to make them smaller than Average. I suggest that the Deluxe Soft Touch Grip be sold in a smaller size as wellBrenda

Beautiful is the compliments I get when I wear this one!! It's one of my favorites. I am hooked on the Jaclyn Smith wigs because they are so much more softer feeling than any of the whisperlite wigs. This one has a ton of hair on which made it feel heavier. But once I took a pair of thinning shears to it, it felt so much lighter yet still have that fullness to it. It's a very nice wig. And from now on I will only buy the Jaclyn Smith brand. Until I win the lottery anyways lol. I just ordered my 1st human hair wig, but not from here. They are more expensive here. Thanks to the experienced experts on YouTube, I am Learning more and more about wigs, on how to's of washing them to keeping them kept in sealed bags to thinning them out. I ain't rich and I don't have a hair stylist near me who is willing to cut them , so I have to learn how to take care of them by those ladies on YouTube who have years and years of experience and don't mind sharing their advice (free of charge) to newbies like me. Have bought 10 wigs now, to hold me while my hair (hopefully) grows back after a crash diet and stress. This is probably my least favorite, and that includes cheapies on Amazon that pleasantly surprised me. My head is small, between petite and average, but I always wear average. Head is short, so wigs always look longer on my than in the pic. This one, oddly enough, it toooo tight. it pulls up drastically in the back, with or without a wig cap, and pulls on my ear. (If I don't pull it over the ears, it's poofy, like it's just sitting on top of my head and about to fall off.) It's off on one side so that it pulls up on that side more. Yes, the bangs are too thick — the whole wig's too thick. Had to do my best to thin out from underneath (live rural, without stylists around), which, of course, considering the material, left tiny hairs sticking up, although I tried to just thin the bottom layers. Actually, little hairs stand up on it from brushing against the back of a chair or just from wearing. Constantly have to clip them off. The color is carrot red, and with this long and loose style and thickness, it's more obvious than in other styles. I expected reddish brown, but this is almost strawberry. So all in all, I'm happier with my others. This is wearable, but I stopped thinning without doing the bangs (bad enough having those little hairs all over elsewhere), and the top still looks ""wig-poofy."" When I run my hands over it, it feels rough, from all the little hairs. Plus, had to completely undo the tabs to make it stay down…and the tabs had tons of hair stuck to them and coming through the web to the outside that was impossible to pull out and correct, so had to just cut it so it wouldn't keep getting stuck to the Velcro. More acceptable if it was a $49 dollar one, but esp not for $79. Have had better luck with others, so will be ordering again, a different style (not J.S. Fab Kalyss wavy blonde wig that matches my own hair colour perfectly. Not at all shiny & nasty like some. Thick mane of hair that is so realistic although I will get it thinned out a bit by my hairdress.
