Beautiful u-part wig. very convenient! this unit is sewn onto a spandex mesh dome wig cap. the u section nor has the edges been cut out. the hair has not been cut. there are three bundles of hair in the unit, 16" 18" 20" very lite on the head. the hair is very full. great buy these unit is custom made. you will then need to braid your hair accordingly, leaving enough hair out to fit in the u section. this is where you will make a natural part using your own hair. once this is done, place the unit on your head again….this is when you will see if you need to trim off or some of the elastic band to fit comfortably on your head. now sew the unit down around the perimeters. very easy! if you have request combs or clips, take the parts of the unit where the combs are located and insert them under your braids in those areas. this will ensure a very secure fit to your head. now last but not least, part your hair down the middle of your leave out and style. if you are unsure after reading these instructions, i usually ask that you see your stylist for installment. how to care for your u part wig q: how long does it last? this hair can last for a very long time depending on how you maintain it. treat it like your own hair and take very good care of it for it to last longer. q. what type of hair care products should i use? a: treat this hair just as if it was your own hair. use good quality shampoo and conditioning products. conditioning your hair is very important to keep it soft and manageable. please use a lot of moisturizing conditioners to hydrate the hair. recommended shampoos and conditioners: pantene for women of color, or any pantene with a hydration, suave moroccan infusion color care shampoo and conditioner, and dove intense repair therapy shampoo and conditioner. wash with the different shampoos, condition saturate hair with conditioner, let sit for an hour or so in a plastic bag, rinse. let unit naturally air dry. use a heat protectant, (ic heat protectant in dark pink bottle) ,blow dry for straightening, curl and style. please please please don't use any sprays, or other products. other products only weigh the hair down and make it unmanageable. only use just a little moroccan argan oil lite penetrating after styling. colored hair needs to stay hydrated. please try to wash and condition at least once a week. please wash all hair in a downward motion. never wash hair going upward. wash hair in the shower, not in a sink where you have to hold your head down in the water to wash. i like to use a denman brush on my wigs. you can use any wig brush you like. denman is just my preference. you can purchase a denman brush at sally' beauty store. do not wet hair and lay on the unit. q: they can be straightened, curled? a: treat the hair as if it is your own. use a flat iron/straightener or when fitted, but as with your own hair, never use hot tools too often as you could dry the hair and it will not last as long.

I have purchased 2 other units in the past and was very satisfied, hence the reason I purchased a third unit. The quality was not up to par as the others. I went on vacation, as I've done with the last one purchased, and the hair became matted once wet. I expected the hair to return to the natural state once wet, the curls were barely visible. A sign the hair is not of good quality. I was disappointed. I noticed in a prior review another client complained about the quality of the hair. I should have taken heed. OMG this hair is gorgeous and looks exactly like the pic and it is so full, I wasn't expecting that! The highlights are very soft and not overpowering. Bonus it smelled really good too! It took 3 weeks to receive my wig. I am not sure if that is standard, but Tina responded to my inquiries and was very nice. I wish I had known that the wig did not come with clips and that I needed to have them added. Now I'm stuck with trying to get the clips installed. I don't wear wigs often, but due to COVID-19, I wanted to purchase something that I can take in and out, so I was confused when I noticed that the wig had a band sewed to the hair. I obviously need help understanding how wigs work, and Tina sent me information on installing the wig. But I felt that the wig should have come with clips already installed. Now I have to find someone that can fix the wig. The hair's quality seems nice, but I can't wear the unit until I make some adjustments, which is very upsetting and a waste of money.verina h.
So the quality color and smell of hair is amazing.. However, if its your first time ordering a upart wig like it was mine i would definitly recommend getting the sizing of your head right to make sure the wig is going to fit because I was highley disappointed after cutting the middle section out and discovering that it was way to big for my head, so I'm basically having to remake it to fit my head which I have no idea how to do but thank god for youtube. 🙌mommylovesmaddox

I was so excited to buy a wig that looked natural and blended with my own hair, my word!! this wig when arrived was amazing!! , the colour, the length, quality and smell were amazing!!!! Tina was an absolute brill seller, communicated continuous with me, and was happy to answer my questions and needs.
