I just received my wig today. I got my secondary color and I was a little disappointed that I didn't get the color I wanted but this is a beautiful wig. The texture of the hair is amazing. It doesn't feel plastic like or synthetic at all. The luster is very low and it's going to be super easy to style it. I ordered two because I was pretty sure I was going to love it. This is a beautiful wig at an unbelievable price. You can wear as is or curl it with hot curlers. The first one I purchased lasted about 6 months. I think it may have lasted longer but I like it curled. This recent purchase I bought two. The only altering I did to this wig was to shorten the sides and added elastic to the lace to give the edges a more realistic look and help hold in place. This wig will not disappoint. I take half a star because it does shed some and the bangs are alittle to long but I love this wig! I have it in 2 colors and it's so affordable you can't be mad really! I'm obsessed with the color of the one I just got (OT99J ). Over time the wig does thicken and stiffen out but it takes time! Lasts well to be so low in cost! Very pleased with the quality of the wig especially for the price $25. I usually buy preplucked lacefronts at around $60 and so this is a great beautiful wig for learning customizing even though it doesn’t need tons but if your a novice at that like me. It’s very light weight on my head. The density and hair thickness are perfect for believeable daily wear. Now it’s synthetic shiny so it definitely needs dry shampoo. Optional foundation for the hairline and optional plucking but the hairline looks pretty darn good without it so that’s just to up it a notch to believability. I’ve enclosed pics straight from out of the box to display OP430 in natural lighting. I bought 4 packs of black and 1 pack of the deep wine, but since I have my sides and back shaved then of course I have plenty of locs left over (and I'm glad that I do). Usually I'll do my faux locs myself by starting with Senegalese twists then by rapping them which, of course, would take forever so this was my first using crochet locs. They are definitely springy, but beware because if they get tugged at the ends on accident then they will just hang and not spring back. I already had to cut some ends because of such actions. Also, I noticed some were not made as well as others, so make sure you get an extra pack. Some were "puffy" so my hair isn't hiding as well as it should be (I did individual crocheting). I do love the look though but removed a star based of said flaws. I took another star off because the website was being glitchy. I used the website via my phone and when trying to add stuff other than the locs, my whole cart would be emptied. It did this several times, so I just gave up and only purchased the locs. When I went to purchase the locs, the total jumped by $1, which is no big deal because it was just a dollar but the fact that it jumped like that concerned me. But at the end of the day, I would recommend and use this hair again. It did get frizzy and snaggy the second day but nothing major yet. Also, I noticed the deep wine holds up better than the black. The only way this wig could be any better was if it just lasted a tad longer and if the curl pattern never fell. It looks more realistic as the curls fall, but it dries at the ends and will eventually need to be straightened, perhaps trimmed or cut and then converted to bun or workout hair. In the meantime though, you get MAD compliments – many people don't even realize its not my bio hair. I wear it regularly in 1B and recently switched to OP61327 (613 Platinum blonde ombre with 1B roots and strategically placed 27 and/or 30 for dimension and shine). I absolutely love it – I'm a whole different person. Only thing that Freetress could offer any better was if this colour came in Karissa's length and density. If I wasn’t experienced in wearing wigs, this would have been a really frustrating and disappointing purchase. As soon as I took the hair out of the box, the ends seemed really tough and frizzy, to the point where the comb gets stuck. Because the quality is so poor, I ensure extremely gentle combing but somehow one of the tracks has already broken within the first 1-2 weeks. The **** are that once you tint the lace/add makeup and cut your baby hairs, the hairline blends really week and looks realistic. If you’re more of an expert at tailoring your own wigs then this isn’t too bad, but you won’t be able to wear it for too long because of the quality. I am obsessed with this wig! This was my 3rd time ordering, but my first time getting a wig installed for daily wear. When I tell you!!!! It doesn’t feel heavy on my head. It’s a tad tight, BUT I think that’s because I’m not use to wearing one daily, not because of the make of the unit. This is a great beginners lace front wig! I am not a wig wearer but saw this on an IG page and tried for moths to order and finally caught it in stock! It is easy to install and looks very similar to my natural hair blown out and flat ironed just fuller which is why I like it! The wig cap is large so it will fit larger heads, which is bit of a con for me. I wig horizontally is too large or too long for my head so the lace on each side covers my ears. (I don't believe I have a small head). If I tuck it behind it is rather uncomfortable even after adjusting the clips and band adjuster inside the cap. I tried curling the hair at 400 degrees and it straightened it instead, could be user error though. Overall, the wig looks and feels great for the price. I'm not sure if the wig could be washed but for the price it may not be worth washing when you can just buy a new one! It is not an everyday wig if you are a newbie at wearing wigs. It can become quite uncomfortable after a few hours. I purchased this wig from a different site, but wanted to leave a review here as well since this was the first site I looked for the wig and the other site no longer has it. I purchased this wig in color DR4/Cream Blonde. The color is so pretty. I love the color of the roots and how it blends with the blonde. The scalp is very realistic looking. Cap size medium to large. Hair texture is silky and soft. Density is good, not too thin. Minimal shedding. Tangles a lot but that is probably due to length. I will look for a setting or holding spray for the tangling. This is a fantastic wig. I got the color cinnamon spice it is a non rooted color. It's a vibrant and gorgeous red. I love these waves so pretty. My head is 22.5 inches and it fits well. This wig will tangle due to the length but it's easy to comb through. This transparent lace blends well and disappears with some foundation powder. I will use a lace wig grip with some got2bglued black tube so that my wig stays all day. Due to my medical condition I'm hair has thinned and I'm so happy to have affordable options. My natural scalp color is a very light, shades lighter than my face so to make a wig part look realistic, I use Ebin Medium Brown lace spray on all my synthetic lace wigs. Looks natural. Does tangle a bit but tangles can be easily removed with a detangling comb or a wide tooth comb and Ebin 5 Second Brazilian Detangler spray. The Outre Sleek Lay Part wigs are amazing. It doesn't feel plastic like or synthetic at all. The luster is very low and it's going to be super easy to style it. I ordered two because I was pretty sure I was going to love it. The texture looks like natural human hair that has been colored and had very minimal shedding. however there are no combs or clips inside the wig to keep it on, so make sure to wear a wig grip.
