This is a cute, lightweight pixie. She's my first experience with a lace front wig, which I find to be a little scratchy but very realistic-looking. The wig has significant permatease, but I can very easily smooth her down somewhat using just my fingers – I imagine I could get her even flatter with a good styling creme. Alternatively, if you want to spike her up, she'll go pretty high with a good shake and some teasing. I also appreciate that the bangs aren't super-long and I don't need to trim them. Although I've never tried Raquel Welch's "Winner," Serving Style seems similar to the basic (non-Elite) version of that wig, with the addition of a lace front for off-the-face styling versatility. I purchased this wig in the honey pecan. I’m a natural dark brunette plus size 23 inch head and this average fit me just fine. The cap is comfortable, natural, soft, and has a nice stretch. Rooting and highlighting is very natural spot on. To keep it out of my eyes, I just use a little clip which makes it look even cuter to put it back. This is a great wig if you want hair to stay out of your face in the summer when it’s hot or while you are busy doing things. I haven’t tried the sweet talk luxury but this one feels so nice I wouldn’t even be inclined to try unless it’s just for fun. I've been purchased from this vendor for a while. Vendor sales great quality products and has weekly discount code but, vendor charge taxes. My biggest problem with vendor is that the condition of the items packages. The last two shipments I've received from them was the worst. First picture, all the items was wet. The rain water got through the box and the the wigs. The other items was wiped due to the box condition. Beautiful wig made very well but not suitable for everyone. It would be great if you had the option to get different wig head sizes. I have a rather large head and it dies not fit my head well. It's very nice wig but irritating because it's synthetic fiber. Also I wanted a soils Burgundy color as the options show instead I got ombre 1b/Burgundy. I ordered two of these wig styles. I wore the gray one to a mother's day brunch. As I was standing by my car, a lady called out Madia as she was passing by in her car. This was the most awful low quality wig I every purchased. This use to be a great company back in the days and I was hoping it was still good. The order process was easy. The delivery service was quick despite the pandemic and to top it all, I love love love love love my wigs (3)!!! I was blessed to receive the blueberry wig as a gift several years ago and I wear it primarily daily. I'm beginning to wear the edges out with perspiration of course not because of the quality of the wig. So I had to have another on reserve for later. While I was at it, I purchase two more in different colors. Overall I still love these wigs. I love the quality. I love that it doesn't shed. Most of all I love that it doesn't tangle. I love Kristen FS26/31S6. It is my go to wig. I have my bio hair but due to Chronic illness, it wears me out to fix it. Bio hair is also very very thin on top now. I would give her 5 stars… however for me, the lace does irritate the skin after a couple hours. I am a redhead with very sensitive skin. Also, I have ordered several of this same wig, and they all have a little variance to them. I have learned how wigs are made and why that is. It is not a machine producing exact replicas. So, I fuss with them until they fit right. I'm sad to see the price going up on everything. I just bought a darker color Kristen for the first time . It has less Blonde for winter. Omg.. how come I did not know about this website?! I wasted hundreds of dollars over cheap wigs from nearby stores to my house😖 After finding out about this online store a couple weeks ago, I finally decided to give it a try… although pricey, but tbh- these wigs hold their value at that price. You can barely tell it’s a wig! It looks super natural! It’s super soft! I just love it like a pet! 😂 One downside I would say is that it’s very sensitive to heat… I wore it the first day, and I was baking some goodies… and I opened the oven up and hot air swooshed in my face and I heard my poor new wig crunch! Yes it’s my fault- but it makes me wonder how long it can stay before drying up and becoming a complete bird’s nest when worn on hot summer days. Over all- I’d give it 4.5 stars… reason being is because it’s too sensitive to heat.Noor
I own many Kristens in different colors. Really a great style and comfortable cap. I had a really hard time debating on Kristen and Jamison and now that I have both I must say I much prefer Kristen. The face framing layers are great on my round face. I am sure the permatease is mentioned in many reviews and yes it's there but it's not bad. Rather than trying to press it down if you use a wide tooth comb to lift the hair up you won't really see it. This is very cute wig if you can style it as shown, and the fiber is very soft, delicate and light. But when they say this is a “voluminous” wig, they mean it. I wrote beforehand to ask about this and was assured that I shouldn't worry about the "voluminous" description, but I found that, on a round face (like mine) it looks like a mushroom. However, I did managed to flatten it some with a headband. Secondly, although it parts wherever you want, the part is totally lost in all that “hair.” If you are paying more for the mono and hand-tied, so that you can show the scalp at the part and make it seem more natural, you are wasting your money here. My other complaint is that the color is not consistent. I own two wigs called "Diane" by Jon Renau in color #38, but the #38 on this one is considerably darker.Uriela
I had been silently ******* after this wig for a good long while, waiting for it to go on sale. I was attracted to the cut, movement, and cap design. Videos that I watched left me with the impression that the wig had some movement and styling versatility. I didn't anticipate how much permatease this wig had. This is Noriko level permatease. I enjoy the comfort of a hand tied cap, but feel like you can't really appreciate the construction because the volume of the wig blocks the visibility of any parting space. This is essentially a hand tied Natalie. I'm noticing that photos of this style have some contrast in the coloring of the wig with bold highlights. Perhaps picking a color with more pronounced highlights would let you appreciate the style of the wig. I ordered the 22F16 (black tie blonde). 22 F16 is good for nordic types with blonde eyebrows. Don't get me wrong, this is a nice wig. Hand tied is the ****, and the lace front is undetectable. If you are expecting a Dorothy Hamill-esque cut, tread lightly.
