OK, so I'm normally a lace front only girl. Nothing else will do. Well, except Robin! I can't explain it, but with the wispy little bangs, it doesn't need a lace front, mono top anything. I never expected to love a closed cap style, but I always get great compliments on this wig. Go figure! I have Nutmeg, which is a totally safe color choice. I'm blonder naturally, but Nutmeg is a nice, easy change. I typically do a big loose side braid to hang down the front, or a messy twisted updo in the back with a claw-clip. No one EVER questions this is a wig and it's such a relief not to worry. The density is natural and moves well. Next I'm going to try Sandlewood-H and get some blonde going on!Liz P.

This wig transforms me. I am a natural brunette, and I truly have a lot of fun being blond without having to bleach my mop. I am a cocktail waitress in a nightclub, and no one suspects that my long, dark curls are hidden beneath this mane of healthy-looking hair. It is comfortable to wear throughout my eight-hour shift, five nights a week. I can tame my frizzy mess under a wig cap and leave the house with gorgeous hair within 10 minutes. A lifesaver! I decided to start wearing wigs while I grow my hair out. I need a little help to get me through the "awkward" phases everyone goes through while growing out their hair. I purchased Robin in the color marble brown. This is my very first wig purchase and I am overall very pleased. It fits nicely on my rather small head and is surprisingly light. I did have to trim the bangs some but that was no big deal. Overall I really like is wig and love the way it makes me feel when wearing it. Pros Great length, lightweight, soft beautiful color. Cons Not a huge fan of the permatease top. Is the only thing that comes off as "fake" or "wiggy".
After a bad relax burned off my real hair, I bought the Robin by Noriko in Toasted Brown…I am so happy with it, and during an emotional time with my hair burned and breaking, the Robin saved me. its so beautiful and natural! I dont normally tease, so originally I thought the permatease wouldnt look natural, but it looks fantastic. The fibers are the way I wish my real hair was…and the cap fits beautifully, no problems slipping off. I was thrilled to receive the Camila style in my most perfect shade. This auburn is the exact shade of my bio hair. That is why I gave her three stars. I am very disappointed to have to start my search all over because Camila's lace is extremely scratchy on my size 22 head. She felt so tight and painful I had to take her off immediately. The lace hurt my skin while the fit gave me a headache just from trying her on. In my opinion this would work best on a smaller size head. I have tried many other average size wigs in my search for my perfect piece and not one was as ill-fitting as this one. I really hope the manufacturer changes the lace they use for this piece. I have purchased inexpensive wigs for custome parties that had better quality lace. I also did not like the way the hair itself felt. It was not as soft as many of the other styles I have tried are. I am not sure if maybe I recieved a defective piece. As I started my wig journey I purchased a few inexpensive pieces that had much softer fibers. It truly saddens me to give such a harsh review to such a pretty style and not be able to wear her! I will be returning her. Unfortunately now I am weary of ordering another piece from this brand.

It took putting clips on the bangs for a couple of weeks with some product before they started to respond. The top is flat with no movement and so far I haven't had much luck trying to get some separation or movement in it. The blonde color is perfect! 22-1001-R8. The back is also cute but if I can't do anything with the top, it will be a loss. This is not a heat defiant fiber but if anyone can tell me how to get some shape and movement on the top, so it isn't completely flat, I think it would be a really cute wig on. Purchased in the ginger brown. To me it mostly looks like a medium brown and I don’t see much ginger. I do want to say that for a basic Wig, this is very realistic and natural in both look and feel. It is the perfect shortcut that you wish your natural hair would always do. Bouncy, layered, stacked, with a perfect shape that stays in place. I think it’s really super cute and realistic especially if you purchase it in your natural hair color nobody would know it’s not your real hair. It feels very soft like real hair. Online reviewers seem to be avoiding this wig or making a big deal about how much permatease there is in it, so I was a little nervous about ordering it. But it turned out to look really cute on me, and I appreciate how the fullness on top balances out some of my facial features (and my large glasses), while the shag style also gives me some length in back. The melted marshmallow color looks good, too, although the pale tips aren't as obvious as they would be on a straighter, less layered style like Alva or Kai. The dark root does a good job of camouflaging the permatease at the part. The wig is also remarkably light and breathable. I think the fit is just a little on the petite side of average – I'm just over 21.5 inches in circumference with close-shaved hair, and it fits fine without taking in the adjusters. There seems to be a decent amount of stretch if you're larger than me, so it may work for someone up to 22 inches, or someone with more hair than me. I should note that Storm wasn't a true "shake & go" wig out of the box. The ends in back weren't always as flippy as the photos showed, and some of the bangs stuck straight out in front, even after misting with water. I used a steamer on the bangs to get them to lie where I wanted them and will eventually work on the flipped ends in back. I'd be more annoyed at this if I'd paid a lot more money, but I'm willing to accept a certain amount of work on my part for a basic cap at an affordable price point. All in all, I'm quite happy with my purchase, and I would encourage others who may be curious about this wig to check it out. Just be aware that it might not be perfect right out of the box and may need some work to look its best on you (work that should only be performed *after* you've determined you want to keep the wig).Patricia L.
I love this wig. It has great movement in the hair, very realistic. It is comfortable to wear. I can be a tough fit – need the average circumference but some wigs have too much gaping in the back of my head. This one isn't too bad, fits fairly well. The color is fabulous and I have gotten so many compliments on it. The length is perfect. I prefer myself with bangs and this one just meets all the criteria for me. Not bad for 69 on my way to 70 – wearing it makes me look, and feel, younger. I got it in Moonstone and now it seems that color doesn't exit any longer. I ordered this in creamy toffee rooted after having it in mochachino. Somehow it looked better in the darker color. It's a beautiful wig if you can pin down the sides near the top, reducing the retro looking volume. I think this style is best suited for someone more statuesque. It's cute but it looks dated on me. Possibly just too young of a look at this point. The creamy toffee color though was very nice on this style, a little less gold with more light blonde running through it. I wasn't looking for this style or length of wig, but I was intrigued by this one. I was also surprised by some of the colours available. I decided to take a chance and bought the melted plum colour. I was pleasantly surprised when the wig arrived. The colour sample here doesn't do it justice. The melted plum is deep plum on top of the head (not just the roots) and fades out to silvery white at the tips. The whole wig has a silvery sheen to it. It's very flattering and eye catching, and the first time I wore it out I was stopped many times and asked about it. The wig is light weight and comfortable to wear, the short length at the back cools the neck. The bangs do hang in your face, that's how the wig is designed. I don't mind it, except outdoors if it's windy. I played around with it and found a few tricks to keep the bangs out of the eyes. A headband works, so does a hat. It's still cold here so I wore a beanie/touque over the wig when I went out, it looked stylish and kept the bangs out of the eyes. Another trick is to use got2b Ultra Glued Invincible Styling Gel, it comes in a black tube. Many people use it to glue down the part on lace front wigs. I put a dab at the root of the bangs at the front of the wig, and it glues the bangs in place to keep them out of the eyes.Patti G.
I love Reese in Rasberry Ice. It frames my face beautifully. I love tucking it behind my ear. I had a hair stylist last week ask me who did my hair and when I told her it was a wig she was surprised. She stated she would have never guessed. I feel that is the ultimate compliment. The only issue is that the back tends to fray after several months of wear when I wear high collars. Let me first say, I’m pretty sure this is NOT directly the fault of Vogue Wigs. With that being said, I’m very disappointed in my recent Jolie wig purchases! I’ve been purchasing this same wig for about 10yrs. About 4 yes ago I noticed a decline in the way the wig is made, using less hair but the price keeps rising!! Then again with the 2 I purchased most recently they seem to have done it again!!! I wasn't looking for this style or length of wig, but I was intrigued by this one. I was also surprised by some of the colours available. I decided to take a chance and bought the melted plum colour. I was pleasantly surprised when the wig arrived. The colour sample here doesn't do it justice. The melted plum is deep plum on top of the head (not just the roots) and fades out to silvery white at the tips. The whole wig has a silvery sheen to it. It's very flattering and eye catching, and the first time I wore it out I was stopped many times and asked about it. The wig is light weight and comfortable to wear, the short length at the back cools the neck. The bangs do hang in your face, that's how the wig is designed. I don't mind it, except outdoors if it's windy. I played around with it and found a few tricks to keep the bangs out of the eyes. A headband works, so does a hat. It's still cold here so I wore a beanie/touque over the wig when I went out, it looked stylish and kept the bangs out of the eyes. Another trick is to use got2b Ultra Glued Invincible Styling Gel, it comes in a black tube. Many people use it to glue down the part on lace front wigs. Online reviewers seem to be avoiding this wig or making a big deal about how much permatease there is in it, so I was a little nervous about ordering it. But it turned out to look really cute on me, and I appreciate how the fullness on top balances out some of my facial features (and my large glasses), while the shag style also gives me some length in back. The melted marshmallow color looks good, too, although the pale tips aren't as obvious as they would be on a straighter, less layered style like Alva or Kai. The dark root does a good job of camouflaging the permatease at the part. The wig is also remarkably light and breathable. I think the fit is just a little on the petite side of average – I'm just over 21.5 inches in circumference with close-shaved hair, and it fits fine without taking in the adjusters. There seems to be a decent amount of stretch if you're larger than me, so it may work for someone up to 22 inches, or someone with more hair than me. I should note that Storm wasn't a true "shake & go" wig out of the box. The ends in back weren't always as flippy as the photos showed, and some of the bangs stuck straight out in front, even after misting with water. I used a steamer on the bangs to get them to lie where I wanted them and will eventually work on the flipped ends in back. I'd be more annoyed at this if I'd paid a lot more money, but I'm willing to accept a certain amount of work on my part for a basic cap at an affordable price point. All in all, I'm quite happy with my purchase, and I would encourage others who may be curious about this wig to check it out. I wear wigs because of total and sudden hair loss two years ago. This Jon Renau wig "Robin Petite" is perfect. I am ordering my 3rd one. I tried two other brands and styles. This is the most natural looking as well as the most comfortable wig that I've owned.A bonus is that I could put it on out of the box and not have it trimmed or altered unlike the others. The best thing Robin has going for her is the super comfortable cap. No tickly lace, yummy smooth front, flat stitching around the top. Even through my thin bio hair, I can feel the Robin difference. I subtracted one star because I was stupid to think Robin would look as she does in the laughing blonde's photos. To get those chiseled half-curls, I would have to take her to a stylist. I have no styling skills. The other missing star is for a defect. In the middle of the back around the nape one little bunch of hairs flips out instead of in. Silicone cannot tame it. Where it flips out, you can spot some elastic. It's a trivial problem. But some people get worked up over trivialities. I like the Martini color. It makes me think of a rich girl into lots of tennis and three-day eventing. For someone with skills or a stylist on speed dial, this could be a five star wig. Maybe someday mine will be one too.Happy H.
