I cant believe you as a company purchased this wig, looked it over and still decided to sell it to your customers. I loved the look of this wig but was hesitant to buy because of all of the bad reviews. There really are no wigs that look great right out of the box. All wigs need some sort of help. Here’s what I recommend when getting a new wig: take it out of the box and give it a good shake. Put it on and adjust the fit, ear tabs, and general placement. Finger comb it into place and then walk away. Stay away from any mirrors for at least 30 minutes or longer and don’t mess with it. This is important because when you do look in the mirror again you have “fresh eyes”. It will be easier to be more objective and not just reactive. At this point you can focus on what you do and don’t like and determine if the don’t likes are ‘fixable’. Change the part if needed, if there is too much poof, wet it down and finger comb. Don’t do any permanent modifications until you decide if you want to keep it. But give yourself time to evaluate the wig properly. For this wig, I wet the top, used my fingers to make a deep side part sweeping the bangs across my forehead and flattened down some of the poofiness on the top then left it alone to dry. I’m so happy I didn’t let the bad reviews discourage me. She’s a cute, sassy wig!jnut

I am 68 and have been wearing wigs pixie wigs for many years, but want a new wig with a little more fullness. I absolutely love this new wig and would recommend it to anyone. Unlike many of the other wigs that do not even resemble the pictures of the wig they purchased, this one looks exactly like the pictures on QVC. I only have one small complaint. The Med Red/Ginger is NOT red. It is more like a light brown with a little bit of red in it. There are a lot of us natural redheads that would love a short brighter red wig, such as Rachel Welch wig color "Glazed Fire". I would like to suggest that Hairdo and QVC start offering more wigs that are a brighter red for their redheaded customers. I've had this wig over a year now (15-16 months). I absolutely love the look but even with caring for it and brushing it daily (the days I wore it) the very back gets severely tangled. I will still wear the wig, but only if I want to be bothered with brushing longer than usual. If you wear wigs often I recommend maybe switching wigs out, but either way this is a great wig for the price. Bought it on Amazon for $17 so I can't really complain. Definitely became my go-to for like 9 months straight. I didn't have issues with tangling until the end of that period.andréa.g

It's not gonna win any realistic wig fashion awards but for a funky style mullet wig it's great. Gonna de shine it a bit cut and style it and it'll look fine 🙂 The fringe bit at the front does expose the netting quite a lot but it's a cheap wig and the style hides that anyway unless you are walking under a glass ceiling.buffbay1977

I just received this wig and tried it on and I thought it was great. It is a very thick wig and looks exactly like the picture. But, let's face it people. This is a costume wig, not a $1000 wig. You wear it maybe one night with your costume and that's it. I'm wearing it with my flapper outfit and it will look amazing. I will not have to cut it either, no friz and looks great on my head. I did wear a cap underneath to keep my hair in place and then put the wig over it. The question now will be, how long will it last the night of the party. I will update you later as I'm wearing it for a cruise party.DJH

This wig was thicker than most wigs I've bought and that was a definite plus! It doesn't quite look like a flapper wig as it is thicker in the back and doesn't hang like the one in the product photo. It is well made and has great coverage–I have super long hair and was able to hide it under this wig with no trouble. I would recommend this as a standard black wig for any costume but not as a flapper wig.LisaTChiTown

The product itself is beautiful. Very well done with the exception of the extremely long nape and the thick silicone padding. You better hope the silicone works, because with it you have no other options to make your wig stay down. Neither tape nor glue will stick to that silicone. The only option is to wear a wig band and if you do that, you will have to pull the already too long nape even further down the back of you neck. I'm also disappointed in the extremely limited amount of tips and info on cutting and caring for men's wigs. I suppose this is because the idea of men wearing wigs is still a new phenomonon, but if a site sells them, the site should strive to do better to help the customer get info on styling, cutting, etc. I have bought two of these units, and I plan to continue to buy because through much trial and error I have finally figured out how to make it work for me. This process required me to basically ruin the first wig which was expensive, but at least I figured everything out with it so I'll know just what to do with subsequent wigs. I would give this product 5 stars if the manufacturer would shorten the nape in the back, and do something else other than the thick silicone padding.Thank you.
