I bought this one from an Amazon seller about 2 years ago and considering it is synthetic and not a lace-front, I was surprised I was able to wear it out of the package, without a hat and people asked me who styled my hair! I actually have this wig in multiple colors. This brand is very cheap but I love it. I usually have to do some plucking of it before wearing it but it’s totally worth it for the price and the feel. Nora is a delightful fluff and go style with waves and almost curls. I got it in color 38, which is light ash brown with grey. It is supposed to be light ash brown with 25 percent grey (it seems a bit more than that;) It would be nice if Paula Young had at least one style featured in this color. The ash brown is very close to my natural color (a bit lighter) but Nora has more grey than I do personally. Nora arrived smelling absolutely wretched; I almost gagged when I opened the box. I had to wash the wig immediately. I used Paula Young shampoo. I thought I detected the (fumigant?) odor even after the wash, but when Nora dried, she no longer smelled. When I first put her on after she'd dried she was not pretty and the curls were mashed against the cap. I shook her vigorously and then took a wide tooth comb and really brought the fibers up off the cap. I wasn't rough, but I was deliberate in going over the entire wig to revive the fibers. I was able to achieve a style very similar to the catalog photo. In my photos, Nora has a more shag-like appearance, but once on she can be fluffed to the rounded silhouette of the catalog photo. Nora fits my 22.25 inch head comfortably and could be adjusted to go even a bit larger, or smaller. I find the fibers dry to the touch and just a bit coarser than my own very fine hair (although Nora's fiber does not look coarse.) Nora is comfortable to wear and an adorable style that goes with dressy as well as casual outfits. If you are prepared to spend a few moments waking Nora up after you first get her home, I think you will be pleasantly surprised at her fluff and go versatility. When this DANCE wig and COLOR ME EXQUISITE wigs arrived, upon removing them from the box they were cute, and the colors were pretty and the best thing they had going for them, However, they didn't look much like the ones the models in the pictures wore. And there is too much perma tease or "fluff" to them. They had really no style to them at all. Especially in the front, just couldn't do much with them. And didn't want to try since being careful with them is a must when trying them on. Very disappointed with these wigs. In my humble opinion they were not great and not keepers. So I am returning them and probably won't buy anymore wigs again. I am completely disappointed with my purchase. I ordered two of this wig because I really like the look of the style in the picture. The wigs I received will not comb into the style shown. The top is spiked and will only stand straight up and the bangs stick straight out and will not lay nicely against the forehead. I tried to tame it down with wig spray and hair gel but it won't lay down. The top hair stands straight up and the bangs stick straight out. The wig will not comb into a nice smooth pixie like the picture shows. I would not recommend a person buy this wig unless you want spiked hair that stands straight up at the top of your head and bangs that stick straight out at your forehead. This is a really lovely wig with a gorgeous curl pattern. Love the TOB lace fronts, and this does not disappoint. However it has a lot of permatease and was quite 'poofy' straight out of the box, but after the first wash it mostly relaxed and now looks more natural. This is the sort of style that would flatter most face shapes I think. The cap is slightly big on my petite-average head, but still fairly secure and very comfortable. For reference, my circumference is 21.5 inches and 13 inches both ear-to-ear and front-to-back. I think it would be a perfect fit for a true average head size. The colour Hot-Cocoa is a nice neutral brown with no red tones. The colour swatch is a good representation of it. If you don't mind the pillowy permatease and lack of monofilament, I recommend Isla as a fun and sassy everyday wig.S. G.
This is the most expensive wig I've ever purchased and I have learned that you really do get what you pay for. The fine hair texture feels lovely and moves beautifully. The lace front is the most natural-looking one I've ever seen but I did trim a few thin, wispy, bangs for complete confidence. The color Rooted Blonde is perfect for me. As with all blonde shades, there was a little too much sheen for my taste but it was easily dulled with a spritz of dry shampoo and a light dusting of powder. Raquel Welch wigs are my favorite. The quality is unsurpassed. The lace fronts are impeccable and so comfortable (not itchy like some can be). The velcro adjustable straps are the best kind (they actually work) so you don't have to worry much about size. I have a 21 1/2" circumference and although I have to tighten some…they fit nicely and are comfortable. The reasons I like this wig is because she is not to thick or too thin. She is not too poofy nor is she still has nice body and gentle waves that I love. The style is beautiful and feminine. She is long but not too long. The color I have sent in the picture is SS613 also called SS Platinum which is great if you're really craving that ultra blonde look. I also have R25, Ginger Blonde which is less shiny but not as soft but a little more realistic looking. I also bought two in SS 15/24, SS Champagne which is my favorite. If I didn't love wigs so much I would probably just wear that one everyday and be done with it. SS 15/24 is what I would call a basic blonde. It is not ashy. If you like a more ashy blonde I would recommend SS 14/88 Golden Wheat which i have in a different style but it's too ashy for me. If the front pieces of Miles of Style fall in your face you can just part those front pieces to the middle even though its a mono part. When I do this they stay out of my face. Since its such a realistic lace front I also like to pull a piece up and braid it and pin it back…so cute!!! Sorry for going on but one more thing is the price is great…it's only a mono part but this works great for me as I always part my hair there anyway.
This is now my go to wig. No one's lace front wigs are as good as those made by Rachel Welch. So realistic. This wig doesn't have too much hair nor too shiny. It does look like beautiful hair and that makes it hard to believe it's real…but other than that…it looks realistic. The cap is a little large for me. I am a petite woman with a small head so I have this problem all of the time but I can tighten down enough to stay secure and still look good. I'll buy it again.
Miles of Style in SS12/20 Shaded Toast is a nice color, and I have to try to like the idea of going lighter to keep it. I don't like all the hilight concentration framing the face. Also instead of roots at the temple and earstabs… you get very blond hair coming from the root. It just was not thought out well. The fiber is fine, somewhat dry, and very realistic. Minimal shine in comparison with thicker hair fibers. Whispy hairs give realistic look. The cap with the silicone has malfunction because it does not stretch right from forehead to nape.. it comes up short. This just seems like a mistake that the manufacturer made when creating this cap for this style. Because of this malfunction, it seems loose. In order to keep it from slipping, you need to use clips at the nape and near the temples if you have hair. Another color might work better…. but this is the closest color that I can possibly, possibly work with.Janna

I love Jon Renau synthetic pieces in the colors 6 and 8/32. I have about 8 toppers and wigs in these colors. I purchased Bryce in color 6 and the the fibers felt terribly dry, crunchy and tangled. No matter how much silicon spray I used I just could not get these fibers to become manageable. The monofilament and stitching is also different than all of my other Jon Renau pieces. The monofilament is shiny, the knots are thicker, the lace folds and bubbles. The only good thing is the cap is not as massive as some of the other more recent wigs they’ve released. I’m petite-average and I could comfortably wear this wig. I am really hesitant to try any of their new styles after this complete waste of money. It’s just a mess and unwearable. I’ve never felt this way about a Jon Renau piece.Amy
The fibers in this wig are really dry…. I had a hard time with the bangs and mine wasn’t even close to the styles shown. The wig just kept shedding even after washing it. I have never had a wig shed so much. I’m not sure if it was a defect in the manufacturing or if that’s how they all are. Just wasted over $200 on a wig that I will never wear. Customer service wouldn’t do anything about it since I had washed it.Caryl
I was so excited for this wig. I own over 15 other Jon Reanu wigs in the same color – caramel ribbon and the color does not match any of my others, not even close. It is extremely brassy. Outside the color, the wig feels extremely dry and tangles a lot. It just doesn't feel like the same quality of the other Jon Renau wigs I own.Melissa O.
