I have been wearing wigs since breast cancer caused my already thinning hair to fall out. Due to POS and a hormone blocker I will take for a few more years, my hair had no chance at coming back to anything resembling a full head. I think having different wigs are a fun and easy way to boost your self confidence or save time on a bad hair day. I bought this one from an Amazon seller about 2 years ago and considering it is synthetic and not a lace-front, I was surprised I was able to wear it out of the package, without a hat and people asked me who styled my hair! This is a cute, lightweight pixie. She's my first experience with a lace front wig, which I find to be a little scratchy but very realistic-looking. The wig has significant permatease, but I can very easily smooth her down somewhat using just my fingers – I imagine I could get her even flatter with a good styling creme. Alternatively, if you want to spike her up, she'll go pretty high with a good shake and some teasing. I also appreciate that the bangs aren't super-long and I don't need to trim them. Nora is a delightful fluff and go style with waves and almost curls. I got it in color 38, which is light ash brown with grey. It is supposed to be light ash brown with 25 percent grey (it seems a bit more than that;) It would be nice if Paula Young had at least one style featured in this color. The ash brown is very close to my natural color (a bit lighter) but Nora has more grey than I do personally. Nora arrived smelling absolutely wretched; I almost gagged when I opened the box. I had to wash the wig immediately. I used Paula Young shampoo. I thought I detected the (fumigant?) odor even after the wash, but when Nora dried, she no longer smelled. When I first put her on after she'd dried she was not pretty and the curls were mashed against the cap. I shook her vigorously and then took a wide tooth comb and really brought the fibers up off the cap. I wasn't rough, but I was deliberate in going over the entire wig to revive the fibers. I was able to achieve a style very similar to the catalog photo. In my photos, Nora has a more shag-like appearance, but once on she can be fluffed to the rounded silhouette of the catalog photo. Nora fits my 22.25 inch head comfortably and could be adjusted to go even a bit larger, or smaller. I find the fibers dry to the touch and just a bit coarser than my own very fine hair (although Nora's fiber does not look coarse.) Nora is comfortable to wear and an adorable style that goes with dressy as well as casual outfits. If you are prepared to spend a few moments waking Nora up after you first get her home, I think you will be pleasantly surprised at her fluff and go versatility. When this DANCE wig and COLOR ME EXQUISITE wigs arrived, upon removing them from the box they were cute, and the colors were pretty and the best thing they had going for them, However, they didn't look much like the ones the models in the pictures wore. And there is too much perma tease or "fluff" to them. They had really no style to them at all. Especially in the front, just couldn't do much with them. And didn't want to try since being careful with them is a must when trying them on. Very disappointed with these wigs. In my humble opinion they were not great and not keepers. So I am returning them and probably won't buy anymore wigs again. Sorry PY but your wigs need to be lighter weight, lay nicer, (some of us like a bit flatter style) far less perma tease or fluff, easier to wear right out of the box…Thanks anyway…Juanita
I am completely disappointed with my purchase. I ordered two of this wig because I really like the look of the style in the picture. The wigs I received will not comb into the style shown. The top is spiked and will only stand straight up and the bangs stick straight out and will not lay nicely against the forehead. I tried to tame it down with wig spray and hair gel but it won't lay down. The top hair stands straight up and the bangs stick straight out. The wig will not comb into a nice smooth pixie like the picture shows. I would not recommend a person buy this wig unless you want spiked hair that stands straight up at the top of your head and bangs that stick straight out at your forehead. The style does not resemble the picture at all !Eve

The wig is super! Looks very natural, natural hair volume: not large and not crooked. Most importantly, there is no doll shine, so it looks like your hair. Soft, comes with a hat. Delivered very quickly, about two weeks. The color is not quite as in the photo, in the photo it is more ashy, but in reality it is rather chestnut. I am very pleased.

The wig isn’t exactly what is pictured. It’s thinner at the bottom with tighter curls, not really “beachy waves” like the picture depicts. I’m not upset with it though! The roots are not dark like the picture depicts either. I ordered the same color as pictured. I bought this on sale to wear in an updo. As soon as I put it on it was obvious that wasn’t to be. It tangled something awful if I worked with it. it was horribly shiny. It was too thick to stay up. It was impossible to do anything except stick it on and wear it as it was without it getting into a tangled mess. I reworked it completely.I removed all the curls using hot water method. I removed all tangles. I cut bangs into it. It finally smoothed out and was short enough and not too thick. I can now wear it up. I also got that awful shine out. I would not repurchase it but I am not unhappy with what I created from the original. if I had not found some way to redo it, it would have looked perfect for a Halloween costume only.Gayle M.
I absolutely love this wig! The color in platinum is gorgeous, the cap size is average and fits perfect. I wore this for a couple weeks before writing this review to see about shedding and there is little if any at all even with brushing. It comes curly, I took my flat iron on the lowest setting and was able to straighten it without any damage. The lace front is so realistic no one can tell that it's a wig, its not heavy and very light weight for so much hair, absolutely no thinning anywhere to be found! I didn’t buy this particular color, but, I did buy a couple in a different color. I just love this wig. I been buying one about every 6 months or so. But I really put them through the ringer. I lov3 them so much, I wear it daily. And yes I do recommend this wig. The only draw back, is it only comes in average size, and I wear a petite, so I hav3 to alter my wigs, but they are worth it..Pamela
I’m so happy with this wig. From the first time I opened the box & put it on I immediately fell in Love! It is soooo beautiful & very easy to style. I ordered it in SS Biscuit & the color is perfect. I have already got a ton of compliments & one person said I even look ten years younger, now that’s a plus!!! I wanted a stacked bob & “In Charge”gave it to me.
