I now own three Flirt Alert wigs, this is my absolute favorite for several reasons. I wear my wigs every day, all day. I need a wig that holds up well to daily use. I find the tangling and matting of the longer wigs to be unbearable! Well let me tell you…flirt alert holds up well!! She is soft and silky, bouncy and beautiful…the 4 inch nape keeps her from matting…I get so many compliments when I wear her. The other day, a woman got out of her car and was screaming across the parking lot wanting to know where I get my hair done because she wanted hers done like mine! LOL! Due to POS and a hormone blocker I will take for a few more years, my hair had no chance at coming back to anything resembling a full head. I've played around with a few styles, staying mostly with bobs, which was close to my hairstyle before chemo and I was comfortable with. I decided to take the plunge and go for a shorter, easier style and came upon Advanced French. Ordered in a lighter color (RL 14/22, Pale Golden Wheat) as my own hair is mostly white and a golden blonde. The wig came and it immediately seemed to brighten my face and is a very youthful style, not that at 64 yrs. I want to look like a kid, but every little bit helps. I had it on when the husband came home from work and he didn't have to say anything for me to know he approved. Its fun, easy and for a short style, has some styling options. Just received my Big Deal in Shaded Biscuit. She was out of stock for a while, so I jumped on this order when she became available again, and I'm so glad I did! The fibers are silky soft with los of swingy, natural movement. She's comfortable and can go from daytime to evening easily. Big Time and Upstage are about the longest lengths I'll wear; anything longer jus doesn't look like me. I'm petite, for reference. Also, I have only brushed this wig upside down before putting it on. This is a cute, lightweight pixie. She's my first experience with a lace front wig, which I find to be a little scratchy but very realistic-looking. The wig has significant permatease, but I can very easily smooth her down somewhat using just my fingers – I imagine I could get her even flatter with a good styling creme. Alternatively, if you want to spike her up, she'll go pretty high with a good shake and some teasing. I also appreciate that the bangs aren't super-long and I don't need to trim them. Although I've never tried Raquel Welch's "Winner," Serving Style seems similar to the basic (non-Elite) version of that wig, with the addition of a lace front for off-the-face styling versatility. I purchased this wig in the honey pecan. I’m a natural dark brunette plus size 23 inch head and this average fit me just fine. The cap is comfortable, natural, soft, and has a nice stretch. Rooting and highlighting is very natural spot on. To keep it out of my eyes, I just use a little clip which makes it look even cuter to put it back. This is a great wig if you want hair to stay out of your face in the summer when it’s hot or while you are busy doing things. I haven’t tried the sweet talk luxury but this one feels so nice I wouldn’t even be inclined to try unless it’s just for fun. Perfect color if you’re a brunette and you want to start going lighter and have it look natural. Will put a review on YouTube under “it’s a wonderful wig” since I love this so much. I just started having to wear wigs about 6 months ago and since I don’t have any wig shops near me have had to rely on purchasing solely online which is very scary… this wig exceeded my expectations! Very natural looking on and instantly made me look like I’d just walked out of a salon. I love the rooted color and the highlights- seriously looks completely natural! I recently had extreme hair loss due to alopecia and needed to purchase a wig. I have never had to do anything like this and didn't know where to start. After looking through SEVERAL websites and styles of wigs I chose Always. It came in promptly, less than a week. It was beautiful right out the box. I wanted looser curls so I combed it out and it looked wonderful! Day 1, I wore it for maybe 4 hours out running errands. When I got home the ends were SO matted and tangled. The ends of the wig look like damaged hair, frizzy and crinkled. I have not used any heat and I have not washed it yet. I've worn it out twice and it looks terrible. I did buy the synthetic hair care package and been applying the products as directed. After purchasing this wig I now know what not to get and what to look for in a wig. I really don't think it will be another Raquel Welch wig. I am so disappointed and hate that I spent $150+ on this poor quality wig.Mariah

When I first received the wig I was worried that it would be too thin. But, when I am wearing it, I find that the lower density looks extremely natural and more realistic than the overly thick human hair wigs I have had in the past. The hair is very smooth and you can run your fingers right through it. I had the Kim by Jon Reneau which has extremely sick denier. I have this bravo wig in the color R 11 S. It looks extremely realistic as though my hair had been professionally highlighted. I also find the lace front to be the best I have ever worn. The netting is so fine that I truly can barely see it. This is the first wig I have on where I do not feel the need to cut the lace. Although some may not like the thin density for the shorter length, I find it perfect for every day wear. I was looking for a wig that was short enough to be comfortably worn every day easy to tuck behind the ears, yet long enough to be pulled back out of my face. Also I would like to add that this week does not shed at all so I am expecting it to last quite a while.I gave this four stars only because I do wish there was slightly more hair in the lower back region of the cap.Patricia D.

I love the True2Life HD fibers by Raquel Welch, they look and feel like human hair. But these are just extremely shiny and it has a lot of hair! The color Glazed Sand is really nice and the lace front on this style is impeccable, and as this was my first unrooted color, it’s even better and more undetectable than the rooted colors. The most natural looking wig I have ever purchased. A friend who knows I wear wigs, asked if she was seeing my bio hair. I was wearing hand tied Center Stage with the lovely lace front when she sat across from me at a restaurant that day. Nothing more needs to be written to explain the 5 stars. Center Stage has the most natural looking 'part' and believable density. I currently have this in 2 different but similar colors. I am shocked to see negative reviews. I got Go for it in shadow shade licorice. The fit is great, the look perfect. Like all RW wigs, it needs thinning on the top. That said, the length is great, side coverage excellent, and a great shade of gray!! I would recommend this hair to anyone who doesn't mind thinning it or having their stylist do it. I would love to see this in 100% hand tied with an extended lace front! I will be getting another, probably in a different shade!Darylann H.

I tried this wig on in a store today….I love pixies and summer is getting hot so I wanted something new, but not necessarily "trendy" (I am 55 years old) This wig is perfect! It has long layers that fluff up perfectly and with a little cream will stay in place (SO important in summer!) The nape is short enough, but not too short, it stayed in place well. It only has a lace front (I am a spoiled lace front, mono top, 100% hand tied wig type of woman) but it is cut so well that you can easily hide the permatease with minimal work and product. Wig # One: I just received my Sparkle Wig and I love it however the color is too white. According to the information in the packaging I can Try again —your can reorder now or wait, etc, and I have reordered now. Replacement: Wig # Two: I am returning the enclosed wig for several reasons. First, it is way too small. This is reorder from the first wig I received which was a great fit and style but was too white. The color of this replacement is perfect, but too small and not nearly as well styled as the first. I talked to a representative today and was instructed to return this one so that it could be replaced with the correct size and with proper styling. Please note that the enclosed return wig shows the correct size (A) but it is much smaller than the first one which was great, but too white. Also, the styling on this one is very centered on a part and has little shape even when shaken and finger styled. The first one (which was the too white one) had great styling right out of the box and no visible part. I've purchased this wig for several years now. I've had two different colors. One was a darker brunette and the other was this one R9S+ Glazed Mahogany. I love the color. The only thing I have noticed in ordering this style, one of the wigs in the brunette color, was cut different than the original one. I've noticed this with other styles of Raquel Welch wigs. It would be interesting to see how these wigs are manufactured. Other than that, it's a great wig. I still have my hair but it's thinning so much as I get older. I'll be 70 in April and I refuse to let nature take it's course. I have fun wearing them and my friends can't believe I wear a wig every now and then. Life is too short and I'm tired of wasting any more time in front of the mirror trying to fix hair that just isn't there anymore! I'm by no means bald but realty is closing in! I've just received my 4th Top Billing topper and wanted to review again. The first two I bought in 2020 and was thrilled. Perfect fit right out of the box, color was exceptional, thick, but not too thick and not too shiny. However when I bought a new Top Billing in Feb of 2021, I could tell the difference right away and sadly the same is true of the one I just got. Two different colors, same problem. The material is thinner, shinier and unwearable without a lot of fussing. It's not as long or as full and because its thinner it flips up on the ends and doesn't look natural. It doesn't hang properly. I have thin hair all over so if I want to wear my hair "down" I need enough thickness on the topper to cover my bio hair. No problem wearing the 2020 Top Billings down, but the new ones I have to clip or pin or wear up because they're too thin. Also the new material is noticeably shinier and I've spent a lot of time washing and dry shampooing to try and get it to look more natural. I'm really disappointed as I've tried a lot of toppers and thought I'd finally found "the one"!Laura

I love the lace front & lightweight quality coverage. On the flip side, the lace front is tricky. I use Milano new topper band. The large size fits perfectly with this piece. I found them on Amazon in large & small. I comb dry hair straight back, use Kenya dry shampoo, which is a little tacky & the band does not slide back, maintaining a nice lace front. I may have bangs trimmed, not sure, yet. But I love this piece. Cap works well for a pony tail ! (Yay) Beautiful part, more like silk look.Michele

I ordered the Raquel Welch Top Billing in color RL10/12 Sunlit Chestnut. The topper was pretty but the color was just too dark (maybe too ashy) for me. I previously ordered the RL12/16 Honey Toast — it was a little too light. I am at a loss on how to order the right Raquel Welch color — the professional recommendation was to order the RL10/12 that I just returned. I love the RW heat defiant fiber, density and texture — it looks like REAL hair. My current "go to" toppers are Jon Renau Top Smart in 12/30BT Rootbeer Float and Jon Renau Top Coverage in 12 Light Golden Brown but I just don't love the shiny synthetic (non HD) fiber. (I've tried several techniques to "de-shine" but I'm still not happy.) I think RW Top Billing could be a winner if I can ever find the right color.Donna V.

This is more of a first impression review as I cannot attest to the wearability just yet. What I will say is I don’t understand for the life of me why Raquel Welch puts that awful strip of lighter colour at the hairline, who actually highlights their hair to look like that?? It looks so obvious to me and I just can’t get past it. Ive put darker powder over the hair to try and conceal it but it’s a poor fix. I can’t see how people like that feature. Just keep it rooted as the rest of the wig! The lace front is OK, but I’ve tried virtually every wig on the market and feel Jon Renau still makes the best lace fronts. This wig is very similar to Code Mono by Ellen Wille. I do love that it’s not an overwhelming amount of hair, quite realistic. I have thinned it out around my face just for that added touch. The length is nice and the razored ends are pretty, though I wish the bangs were longer as to keep from pushing off my face but great for someone who wants to wear a full bang.Ashley

As I've gotten older my hair has gotten thin and I just hated the way it looked. I went thru trying so many wigs and couldn't find anything I felt looked like my real hair until I came across this wig. I absolutely love it!!!! I love the way it looks because it's the style I always wore my own hair in and they happen to have it in my exact color. It's also of great quality and lasts. It's also great that you can style in many different ways. If it gets a bit knotted I wash it, spray it while wet with leave in conditioner, wait for it to dry and flat iron it or curl it. (The shampoo and conditioner are specially for wigs) I am constantly getting compliments on my hair and meanwhile I'm wearing a wig. When I first started wearing it close friends and family thought I just got my hair done, when I told them it was a wig they were stunned. They cannot get over the fact that it's not my real hair. I have this wig in the colour R6/28 F which is chestnut brown with red frost. I would say that the highlights look more blond/golden than I expected but looks good either way since they are evenly divided throughout. The fibers are smooth with fine density. A little shiny, but not too much. The wig is cut in layers that gives a lift to the face and a feminine shape. The length is practical with the longest locks in front and short hair in the neck. It would be a good to idea to ruffle the middle part a bit as the zigzag middle part may seem a little too perfect. I generally like that the hair color is not in one color/solid as it can make it clearer that it is a wig by giving a clearer contrast to the face – especially with light skin tone. The lace front presses a little into the forehead and there could have been a larger amount of hair. If you are completely bare for your own hair, then this lace front can give away that it isn’t your own hair line – but then again, this can be improved by changing the middle parting. The cap is comfortable. Overall good value and a safe choice straight out of the box.Kristin

my new Avalon wig is a disappointment. I loved it when I first got it, but she tangles constantly. It's much more excessive than the normal tangle. I noticed the density is lighter than the Avalon from a few years ago. I'm not sure if they changed the fiber itself, or if I got a dud. The nape on most wigs tangle and you have to use the wide tooth comb and detangling spray throughout the day. This wig is in a constant state of matting and tangles at the nape, and even the outside portion of the sides and back that do not touch clothes are just constantly tangling, the fibers are also looking frizzy very quickly, not something that usually happens on the parts of the synthetic wigs that don't come in contact with clothes. I can't return it, I already cut out the tags and adjusters, I am just surprised that this is happening this quickly on this wig. I know my Finns in Americano and Toffee Latte wore out at the bottom sooner than the normal colors, I figured it was due to the hand painted colors at the end, when I had my MacKenzie in 8/12 those fibers lasted. That's why I chose a regular color on Avalon I figured it would have been better than the coffee collection colors. But this wig is not holding up. I did at the suggestion of Amy @ wigstudio1 try a conditioning treatment, I used the Estetica conditioner and the Bamboo Silicon and the fibers still look matted, frizzy and almost like the fibers were razored. I've only had this wig less than 2 weeks. Most synthetics last substantially longer for months and years.cecelia g.

I had originally purchased Orchid in Iced Mocha, but that color was on back order until the end of May, so I went with Caramel Kiss. It’s not the perfect color for me, as I prefer cooler tones, but she’s absolutely STUNNING! The only thing I really struggle with about the color is the one harsh and chunky blonde streak towards the front. Everywhere else, the colors are beautifully and lightly streaked and blend very well. I lean more to a petite size, so she does shift if I don’t use “It Stays,” even with tightening the straps. I also wish the permatease wasn’t so thick at the temples. Her movement is flawless and she looks very natural. Although, the knotting at the hairline is a bit thick and very dark. I did carefully pluck a little and feel better about the lace front, now. The length is perfect for me as it’s the length I’m used to wearing with my bio hair (until I recently cut it to fit better under wigs). She’s my first wig, with Heat by Jon Renau being my second. So, we’re still getting acquainted. But, the more I reach for her, the more comfortable I’m becoming wearing her. I’ve been suffering hair loss for ten years since having a radical hysterectomy due to uterine cancer. So, to have a thick and healthy head of hair, via wigs, has been a wonderful experience. This is the beginning of my journey so my issues may be just that I am starting this journey kicking and screaming. I know all the YouTube reviewers say this is wonderful and fun but it isn't what I want to do – I wish my bio hair looked like this wig. It is lovely – soft and flattering for probably anyone. However, I may still return, I have tried in on for a bit several days in a row, still not sure. These may be things I just have to live with now that I have to do this to have normal 'hair'. 1.) Lace front – if I do keep this one, I will NEVER buy a lace front again. Unfortunately, it is very hard to find a nice, well made hairpiece without it because everyone else seems to love lace front – NOT ME. I don't like that you cannot pull your bio hair out from under (I know that it is great if you have no hair, but I have plenty around my face and would like to incorporate – Sincerely Yours by RW was perfect but too short). And though it DOES look very nice (I really didn't think it would look so realistic, it truly looks like a real hairline up close), it is HORRIBLY itchy. Like stiff, itchy netting and I can't wait to take it off. Maybe if I try gluing it won't itch so much? 2. I TOO much hair, as with most all of the hair pieces. While I can make this one work because it thankfully isn't LOADED up with that fake feeling/looking permatease (I know some people love it, I do NOT on me), it is still GOBS of hair. I push my hair behind my ears and I would have to have massive ears to fit the gobs falling in front of my face behind my ear; it is like trying to tuck a large rope behind my ear. Not sure why manufacturers think someone who has had hair loss or very thin hair all of the sudden will feel comfortable with a wooly mammoth strapped tightly to their raw noggin. Again, this one could be okay because I could take thinning shears to it and make it work if I keep this wig. 3. Speaking of the front bit… as other reviewers remarked, OMG does it want to go in your face. I don't want to use any product or heat on it yet because I am not sure I am keeping it so VERY difficult to tell if it will work because that is absolutely a problem. Would probably have to thin and cut that into layers – it is very pretty but no one goes around with a big chunk of hair hanging down like that all day. All of the hair on the cap is geared to go absolutely FORWARD, not sure why. It is something that would have to be worked out with heat, water and product. 4. Cap construction – Not super comfortable. Again, this is all new to me so maybe I am doing something wrong. I am using a wig grip so not sure if that adds to my discomfort. I will say that the seams around the mono part are thick and itchy. I would rather a whole mono top or a basic cap, rather than that seamed bit. Too much going on in the cap. So – if you are a regular wig wearer, this style will probably work for you; I am just not use to all these itches and things going on my head. Sort of like a pretty but uncomfortable underwire bra – you can deal but can't wait to get it off at the end of the day – that is how it feels for me. If this had the cap of the Sincerely Yours, I would have found my piece. Again, not sure if I am returning or not, but it is so expensive for me, for them not to be spot on. I need something that looks like ME and I can wear every day and it looks like normal, non-poufy, non-shiny hair and isn't going to rub my ear or itch my head, etc. I am probably hoping for too much. 🙁LJT

Cap is so comfortable. I had to cut on the bangs a little because they went directly into my eyes. However! The color more than made up for it. The eggplant shade is absolutely beautiful and perfect for the fall season! If your bio hair is or was brown and you are looking for brown yet with a twist of pow…. Choose this color! I have yet to be disappointed with the Raquel Welch brand wigs. Thank you Wigstudio1 for always getting my orders to me in such a timely manner. Makes me so happy to know an order is heading my way. I love Roberta. It's a wavy wig but I wear her curly. I gave her 4 stars because the cap is small and the fit in the front and back is little short. The hair is soft and looks very natural. I get a lot of compliments on this wig.Wanda R.

I was surprised at how fast this wig arrived. I haven't worn her out yet I'm still working on her, there's not much to do I'm just not used to styling a longer hair length. I love the color it's a perfect shade of medium to dark brown. The hair is so soft and shiny, Beautiful!Mary F.

I didn’t buy this particular color, but, I did buy a couple in a different color. I just love this wig. I been buying one about every 6 months or so. But I really put them through the ringer. I lov3 them so much, I wear it daily. And yes I do recommend this wig. The only draw back, is it only comes in average size, and I wear a petite, so I hav3 to alter my wigs, but they are worth it..Pamela
