Ordered online. Costume was beautifully made with quality materials and came when promised. My granddaughter loved it but it had a flaw on one of the sleeves that made it unwearable. I reached out to Spirit and I must say I am very impressed with Spirit's Guest Service's quick response time and resolution ! Doing returns to online companies is stressful because you never know how many hoops you'll have to jump through or if the company truly backs up their product. This costume fit my daughter perfect. I was worried the size might be a little big but it was great. She wore it for several events and moved around like an action star. We were able to wash it and there's been no damage to the costume at al. LOVE!!Gabby

I had bought this wig in a local wig store before. It looked ok in the store but seemed frayed in the front when I wore it. The wig I got from your store was cheaper and has a better feel and look to it. It was delivered quickly and the quality is much better. I am looking forward to wearing it. It’s been a couple of years since I last ordered this wig. I always loved the style and got lots of compliments. I decided to order again and bought three. This doesn’t even seem like the same wig. Very poor quality on all three. Bangs were sticking out, hair was falling out. Some clumps of hair were cut so short they stuck out like a sore thumb. No amount of water or styling spray could fix it. Guess I can scratch this one off my list of favs.Patti E.

This is a lovely wig. I love that it's thinner and hand tied. I'm not a fan of the ear to ear lace. It tends to stick up around the ear tabs and you can see it. I've tried glue but it just cakes up on the lace and doesn't work anyway. I wish I had gotten the regular julianne with velvet ear tabs. I am so glad I tried the light version in the julianne before paying a ridiculous amount of money for the carrie light and realizing the lace ear tabs are terrible. If you have hair thinning or loss anywhere in the front, this will not work for you as you'll be pulling on those vulnerable hairs if you have any, yet it won't be enough to hold the piece in place safely, nor can you use adhesive on thinning hairs. Obviously the 3 front clips won't be of use if you have no hair in front; aybe you could remove all the clips and use adhesive instead if you have no hair. For me, with thinning hair, this was unworkable. I was excited about this item, but was left disappointed. Trying to be fair to the store, I kept the items (I bought two) rather than ask for another return. I shouldn't have kept them.Gerri

I have bought several regular January's in the past, and have always thought they had too much permatease, but would repurchase it because it is closest to the style and color I am looking for. This was my first January Hand Tied. I am pleased to say that it is exactly what I was hoping for. The best part is that there is NO permatease, which had always made it too hot to wear in the summer, and now I don't have to worry about wefts showing since there are none. The lace front on mine is fantastic in the color 14/25 – the highlighting and knotting is the best it's ever been. It is much less tiger-striped looking than it had been about 5 years ago. The hand tied January also has less density than regular January, so I only thinned it slightly in spots compared to my major thinning of regular January. Both versions of January tend to be less shiny than the straight versions of synthetics, which is a plus for me. The Jon Renau regular synthetic fibers last longer than the other brands I have tried as well.Brahm

I love the Chelsea wig for ease of wear. I purchased the color 6/27 which is a beautiful brown with caramel highlights around the face. I originally thought the brown color 6 would be too dark for me but I was pleasently surprised. I love that although this is an open cap wig it has closed ear tabs. Unfortunately I don't see closed ear tabs in many of the open cap/basic cap wigs. I have sensitive skin around my head where the wigs rest and the comfort of closed ear tabs is fast becoming a necessity for me. I will probably buy this wig in another color since the price is so reasonable. Jon Renau has such beautiful, thoughtful colors. I am very pleased with my purchase.Carol M.

I love this style and the color. My first one was 14/26s10, and my next one was 10/26TT. It’s very easy to style right out of the box, and the cap is comfortable on my avg/lg head. The flips on the back can be smoothed down, or enhanced with wet fingers. I get frequent compliments when wearing it.Jen S.

My first Jon Renau wig, and I love the way this cap fits! It feels more secure, and I believe it’s because of the two metal stays at the nape. Chelsea is a great style, and it can be shaped into different looks just with finger styling. I got this in 14/26S10, which makes this my lightest/ blondest wig, but it’s a darker blonde than I expected (which made me happy!), and it looks fantastic. Going to get another one!Jen S.

Miranda Lite wig is soft, silky and low to medium density. I got mine in Midnight Cocoa. I love the color. The 100% hand tied cap is soft and comfortable, surprisingly fits my average/large size head. I gave a 4 star rating because the lace at the ear tab lifts when I pull the side up for styling may have to use adhesive. Overall it is still a lovely wig.Cindy H.

Well, I finally learned my lesson. I cannot purchase clearance items any longer since every time I have, there has been something either wrong with the wig (manufacturing) or something I didn't like and there are no returns. There wasn't anything wrong with this piece. She just had way too much hair and the fibers were so dry they were like straw. It is a beautiful warm color but the density, the permatease and the dry fibers made this difficult to pull off. I thinned it out and tried to tame the permatease but it just didn't work. Plus, the fibers were like doll hair and so that was a dead giveaway. This was the third JR piece and all have pretty dry fibers. Is this normal? I am a first time buyer, trying to figure out what fits and how to wear the wigs. I ordered 3 wigs in this first order, and two of them I can adjust and work with. But "Gwen" has very short hair and it looks nothing like the pictures! I had it on my head for a few seconds and couldn't stand the very short hair with no shape at all. It looked like a hedgehog, The color is nice, but this wig is too small, too short hair for my plus size figure: Gwen Wig by Jon Renau STRAWBERRY BLONDE AND WARM PLATINUM BLONDE BLENDED & TIPPED W STRAWBERRY BLONDE NAPE (27T613F). In all fairness, I only had it on my head a few seconds and took it off right away, I didn't try to make it look better, afraid to ruin the chance for return. It might be ok for someone else, but at 62 yrs old and plus size figure, that little wig was not even funny! I filled out the return label for "Gwen" but keeping the other two, with medium length hair: "Blushing Beauty" Wig by Gabor | Mono Part GL16/27 and the "Salsa" Wig by Raquel Welch | Large Cap R14/88H Golden Wheat. Those two are a bit large and I need to learn to adjust the tabs in the back, and I also need to figure out from the videos how to "style" them with my fingers so they look good for me. This is a cute summer wig for someone who doesn't want permatese. It's low density. I got 22F16 there is not enough dimension for me but I do feel someone looking for a well made no permatese, low density piece would be very happy with it. I did have lots of thick hair & I like some poof on top.I was going to give it away but it is growing on me using dry shampoo,piece out & hair spray. Even tho it's symmetrical you can achieve a asymmetrical look with some tucking. I have noticed many reviews/comments on various pieces that I feel expectations are often unrealistic. Let's face it we all don't look like the beautiful ladies,Eileen,Marlen or Taz much less the models. I have found often if I think I don't like something if I change my makeup,color I'm wearing wait a few days,wear it around the house,often one I thought I would send back grows on me. Also often they just need a bit of tweaking with a small trim here & there to make it my own. I imagine very few can just take most of them out of the box with INSTANT SUCCESS ! Unfortunately, this wig has a very small cap. It cannot possibly be average size. Average size fits usually lose on my head and this wig I could barely squeeze on. Secondly, it has no lace front. I am too used by now to wearing a lace front monofilament to feel comfortable wearing a wig without. I guess this is what you get for the price. The color and the fibers were great, but I had to return mainly because the cap was far too small.Mimi

I have a Goldilocks size head and I found the ear tabs on the petite were way too high on my temples, but the front and back fit ok. I bought it on sale and thought I would take a risk even if it wasn’t perfect (and it’s not). The hair itself is good quality and appears to be well made and the style is very cute. I only wish there was a better way to buy wigs other than to pay upfront for an online item, only to find out it’s not quite right. It seems if you can try on hairstyles virtually, there should be a way to try on wigs virtually. If you could upload a photo or enter the dimensions of your head and then try on virtually, you can get an idea of where the ear tabs will fall, for example or how long the bangs will be. It would save a lot of time and money on returns. Eventually, someone will invent it, but until then, buying wigs online is a crapshoot. I prefer to buy locally, however most wig shops don’t carry a very large variety and if you buy the same wig through a wig shop, it will cost double.Vee B.

The cap on this wig is definitely better quality than my cheaper amazon wigs (I like that it has velcro straps), but the hair itself both tangles and comes out more easily than my cheapy $30-50 wigs, which is unfortunate. I'd recommend not even bothering to try to do a half updo with this wig, which I'm personally disappointed by but that's okay, it looks good down. The lace came pre-cut, not sure if it was supposed to, but it fits perfectly and blends right into my pale skin, which is great. Hairline is great, pretty natural looking. I ordered the color FS4/33/30A Midnight Cocoa – the highlights are so chunky right up into the part (see pics). Doesn't matter which way you part it, you have giant stripes in your hair with this color (not too noticeable from straight on or from the side but I disapprove still haha). So I would NOT recommend the colors with highlights like this one, just get a solid color. So overall, I wish I got a different color, but that's on me. so far, I've tried three wigs from this site (for reference, one was $100 more than Rylee, and one was $100 less). Rylee is my favorite — I bought the ginger-brown to try and match my natural color and previous wigs. this color was exactly as expected. plus, the cap fit and adjusted well so that the hairline looks natural even after weeks of everyday wear. it does shed, but so has every wig I've bought. plus, despite that shedding is annoying in terms of "cleaning" up the mess, it doesn't really take away from how real the wig looks. any fraying at the ends can be offset by a trim (I did this myself!), since Rylee has the upside of longer hair. As a first time wig buyer, my remarks will no doubt have those of you more experienced rolling your eyes. Firstly, this is not a "take from box, shake out, put on your head and go wig." I had to work with it quite a bit and I'm still not quite satisfied with the style. The color is lovely, the fit is good. The straw-like texture of the hair is a little disappointing, especially around the face. I believe it has possibilities and I am going to keep it. It is the best of the six wigs I tried with other companies and returned. Photo doesn't really represent the actual color and look of the wig on my head, but here goes.Rebecca L.

Felicity is simply a great all around girl! The fibers are not too shiny, realistic and comb out easily. It's a no frills cap, that would fit an average, however because my head is petite, I take her in, to remove the bulk. One does however have to really work with obscuring the permatease. But the more you move the fibers around, it's great. I love wearing mine in a twisted updo. I do trim the length, but that's my personal preference as I have a petite face. Too long of a length isn't as flattering. At such a great price point, I'd recommend her. Also fast shipping! 😃Melody W.

Online reviewers seem to be avoiding this wig or making a big deal about how much permatease there is in it, so I was a little nervous about ordering it. But it turned out to look really cute on me, and I appreciate how the fullness on top balances out some of my facial features (and my large glasses), while the shag style also gives me some length in back. The melted marshmallow color looks good, too, although the pale tips aren't as obvious as they would be on a straighter, less layered style like Alva or Kai. The dark root does a good job of camouflaging the permatease at the part. The wig is also remarkably light and breathable. I think the fit is just a little on the petite side of average – I'm just over 21.5 inches in circumference with close-shaved hair, and it fits fine without taking in the adjusters. There seems to be a decent amount of stretch if you're larger than me, so it may work for someone up to 22 inches, or someone with more hair than me. I should note that Storm wasn't a true "shake & go" wig out of the box. The ends in back weren't always as flippy as the photos showed, and some of the bangs stuck straight out in front, even after misting with water. I used a steamer on the bangs to get them to lie where I wanted them and will eventually work on the flipped ends in back. I'd be more annoyed at this if I'd paid a lot more money, but I'm willing to accept a certain amount of work on my part for a basic cap at an affordable price point. All in all, I'm quite happy with my purchase, and I would encourage others who may be curious about this wig to check it out. Just be aware that it might not be perfect right out of the box and may need some work to look its best on you (work that should only be performed *after* you've determined you want to keep the wig).Patricia L.

I love this wig. It has great movement in the hair, very realistic. It is comfortable to wear. I can be a tough fit – need the average circumference but some wigs have too much gaping in the back of my head. This one isn't too bad, fits fairly well. The color is fabulous and I have gotten so many compliments on it. The length is perfect. I prefer myself with bangs and this one just meets all the criteria for me. Not bad for 69 on my way to 70 – wearing it makes me look, and feel, younger. I got it in Moonstone and now it seems that color doesn't exit any longer. I ordered this in creamy toffee rooted after having it in mochachino. Somehow it looked better in the darker color. It's a beautiful wig if you can pin down the sides near the top, reducing the retro looking volume. I think this style is best suited for someone more statuesque. It's cute but it looks dated on me. Possibly just too young of a look at this point. The creamy toffee color though was very nice on this style, a little less gold with more light blonde running through it. I ordered this wig the first time in the wrong color but customer service was incredibly swift and helpful in getting my exchange processed. I absolutely love this wig! It's my first one so I was worried about how it would look if it would seem real if it would be uncomfortable to wear… The look and movement is very natural the fibers look and feel real – they are not overly shiny. It does tangle at the ends easily but combs free just as easily. I'm still getting used to wearing a wig cap so it itches here and there but I think that will pass with time. I tested the believably through Facebook and no one could tell it wasn't my real hair. The fact that you can style it with heat just adds to my satisfaction. The lace front is sparse — the first time I wore it people were looking at my hairline especially in the sunlight. I looked in a mirror and saw why. I took off the wig and will never wear it again. I have hair and usually like to pull it out around my hairline – I did NOT do this with Fiery– my hair was completely under the cap in the front – just as instructed to do with lace front wigs. I wanted to try Jon Renau's color 6/27 – which is pretty. I will go back to Raquel Welch — her lace fronts are not so sparse. I wear Raquel's Camera Ready before that her Upstage for several years. Both are far superior to Jon Renau's lace front/mono top. These Jon Renau wigs just don't have enough hair in the lace front or the mono top. I have been wearing wigs for 30 years. I usually trim back the lace fronts and pull out my own hair along the hairline.marie

This is the beginning of my journey so my issues may be just that I am starting this journey kicking and screaming. I know all the YouTube reviewers say this is wonderful and fun but it isn't what I want to do – I wish my bio hair looked like this wig. It is lovely – soft and flattering for probably anyone. However, I may still return, I have tried in on for a bit several days in a row, still not sure. These may be things I just have to live with now that I have to do this to have normal 'hair'. 1.) Lace front – if I do keep this one, I will NEVER buy a lace front again. Unfortunately, it is very hard to find a nice, well made hairpiece without it because everyone else seems to love lace front – NOT ME. I don't like that you cannot pull your bio hair out from under (I know that it is great if you have no hair, but I have plenty around my face and would like to incorporate – Sincerely Yours by RW was perfect but too short). And though it DOES look very nice (I really didn't think it would look so realistic, it truly looks like a real hairline up close), it is HORRIBLY itchy. Like stiff, itchy netting and I can't wait to take it off. Maybe if I try gluing it won't itch so much? 2. I TOO much hair, as with most all of the hair pieces. While I can make this one work because it thankfully isn't LOADED up with that fake feeling/looking permatease (I know some people love it, I do NOT on me), it is still GOBS of hair. I push my hair behind my ears and I would have to have massive ears to fit the gobs falling in front of my face behind my ear; it is like trying to tuck a large rope behind my ear. Not sure why manufacturers think someone who has had hair loss or very thin hair all of the sudden will feel comfortable with a wooly mammoth strapped tightly to their raw noggin. Again, this one could be okay because I could take thinning shears to it and make it work if I keep this wig. 3. Speaking of the front bit… as other reviewers remarked, OMG does it want to go in your face. I don't want to use any product or heat on it yet because I am not sure I am keeping it so VERY difficult to tell if it will work because that is absolutely a problem. Would probably have to thin and cut that into layers – it is very pretty but no one goes around with a big chunk of hair hanging down like that all day. All of the hair on the cap is geared to go absolutely FORWARD, not sure why. It is something that would have to be worked out with heat, water and product. 4. Cap construction – Not super comfortable. Again, this is all new to me so maybe I am doing something wrong. I am using a wig grip so not sure if that adds to my discomfort. I will say that the seams around the mono part are thick and itchy. I would rather a whole mono top or a basic cap, rather than that seamed bit. Too much going on in the cap. So – if you are a regular wig wearer, this style will probably work for you; I am just not use to all these itches and things going on my head. Sort of like a pretty but uncomfortable underwire bra – you can deal but can't wait to get it off at the end of the day – that is how it feels for me. If this had the cap of the Sincerely Yours, I would have found my piece. Again, not sure if I am returning or not, but it is so expensive for me, for them not to be spot on. I need something that looks like ME and I can wear every day and it looks like normal, non-poufy, non-shiny hair and isn't going to rub my ear or itch my head, etc. I am probably hoping for too much. 🙁LJT

Cap is so comfortable. I had to cut on the bangs a little because they went directly into my eyes. However! The color more than made up for it. The eggplant shade is absolutely beautiful and perfect for the fall season! If your bio hair is or was brown and you are looking for brown yet with a twist of pow…. Choose this color! I‘m a huge Raquel Welch wigs fan, it’s my favorite brand. And I had my eyes on this style for a while and think the stock photo looks fabulous. But it’s my first and last style in regular synthetic. I love the True2Life HD fibers by Raquel Welch, they look and feel like human hair. But these are just extremely shiny and it has a lot of hair! The color Glazed Sand is really nice and the lace front on this style is impeccable, and as this was my first unrooted color, it’s even better and more undetectable than the rooted colors. so far, I've tried three wigs from this site (for reference, one was $100 more than Rylee, and one was $100 less). Rylee is my favorite — I bought the ginger-brown to try and match my natural color and previous wigs. this color was exactly as expected. plus, the cap fit and adjusted well so that the hairline looks natural even after weeks of everyday wear. it does shed, but so has every wig I've bought. plus, despite that shedding is annoying in terms of "cleaning" up the mess, it doesn't really take away from how real the wig looks. any fraying at the ends can be offset by a trim (I did this myself!), since Rylee has the upside of longer hair. As a first time wig buyer, my remarks will no doubt have those of you more experienced rolling your eyes. Firstly, this is not a "take from box, shake out, put on your head and go wig." I had to work with it quite a bit and I'm still not quite satisfied with the style. The color is lovely, the fit is good. The straw-like texture of the hair is a little disappointing, especially around the face. I believe it has possibilities and I am going to keep it. It is the best of the six wigs I tried with other companies and returned. Photo doesn't really represent the actual color and look of the wig on my head, but here goes.Rebecca L.

Felicity is simply a great all around girl! The fibers are not too shiny, realistic and comb out easily. It's a no frills cap, that would fit an average, however because my head is petite, I take her in, to remove the bulk. One does however have to really work with obscuring the permatease. But the more you move the fibers around, it's great. I love wearing mine in a twisted updo. I do trim the length, but that's my personal preference as I have a petite face. Too long of a length isn't as flattering. At such a great price point, I'd recommend her. Also fast shipping! 😃Melody W.

The wig was already thinning in the front when I got it and I can't hide this with bio hair because the lace is too long (can't cut the lace because it is the only thing gripping the front, there are no clips). I don't recommend this piece for people with small/low foreheads, maybe if you are completely bald with no bio hair it might work for you but not if you have pale skin because the knots are very dark and the lace is tan. I tried to straighten the hair on low heat and it made a melting smell, I question if all the hair is real. The cap is also extremely itchy and the lace is not soft (because the lace grips) so it is uncomfortable when it sits on my forehead. I would need to sew in clips and then seal off the lace so it doesn't unravel when trimmed, but for $2000 I would expect this to be of better quality. I own many wigs and hair toppers, I am always disappointed in Jon Renau but I took a risk because I liked the color. The Jon Renau brand is not carried much anymore because their pieces are just not worth the price. I am just going to have to stick with Uniwigs because at least I know what to expect and they are keeping up with the trends for comfort and affordability.LS

The hair piece is nicely made and the color was spot-on. I really, really wanted to like this wig. My overall problem was the style… and was in a few of the reviews I had read prior. The front part was over bearing and so much so that it wouldn't stay out of my face…. almost like there was too much hair. While I didn't try to style the piece or trim to see if that would make a difference (didn't want to do anything in case I returned, which I did), so it's possible I could have made it work. But I just couldn't get past the front portion of the wig and all the volume; I couldn't figure out what to do with it! I am not new to hair pieces, wigs and extension pony-tails so I am aware that some effort is-or-might be necessary, etc., but it simply just looked fake on me. I only deducted 1 Star because it might have been fixable but $300.++ I didn't want to take that chance so I returned. But overall, the wig is pretty and the cap is comfy. Good luck!Susie

I ordered this wig the first time in the wrong color but customer service was incredibly swift and helpful in getting my exchange processed. I absolutely love this wig! It's my first one so I was worried about how it would look if it would seem real if it would be uncomfortable to wear… The look and movement is very natural the fibers look and feel real – they are not overly shiny. It does tangle at the ends easily but combs free just as easily. I'm still getting used to wearing a wig cap so it itches here and there but I think that will pass with time. I tested the believably through Facebook and no one could tell it wasn't my real hair. The fact that you can style it with heat just adds to my satisfaction. I've yet to see a stylist about trimming it to frame my face but even without the customization it looks beautiful out of the box.A. I.

The lace front is sparse — the first time I wore it people were looking at my hairline especially in the sunlight. I looked in a mirror and saw why. I took off the wig and will never wear it again. I have hair and usually like to pull it out around my hairline – I did NOT do this with Fiery– my hair was completely under the cap in the front – just as instructed to do with lace front wigs. I wanted to try Jon Renau's color 6/27 – which is pretty. I will go back to Raquel Welch — her lace fronts are not so sparse. I wear Raquel's Camera Ready before that her Upstage for several years. Both are far superior to Jon Renau's lace front/mono top. These Jon Renau wigs just don't have enough hair in the lace front or the mono top. I have been wearing wigs for 30 years. I usually trim back the lace fronts and pull out my own hair along the hairline.marie

When I saw a picture of this wig, I thought to myself "finally!" This is the style I have been looking for for a while, short, straight, not too much hair, an Ignite but with a longer back. Unfortunately, this wig has a very small cap. It cannot possibly be average size. Average size fits usually lose on my head and this wig I could barely squeeze on. Secondly, it has no lace front. I am too used by now to wearing a lace front monofilament to feel comfortable wearing a wig without. I guess this is what you get for the price. The color and the fibers were great, but I had to return mainly because the cap was far too small.Mimi

The biggest problem I found with this wig was the fit. Average was too big, but petite felt too small. I have a Goldilocks size head and I found the ear tabs on the petite were way too high on my temples, but the front and back fit ok. I bought it on sale and thought I would take a risk even if it wasn’t perfect (and it’s not). The hair itself is good quality and appears to be well made and the style is very cute. I only wish there was a better way to buy wigs other than to pay upfront for an online item, only to find out it’s not quite right. It seems if you can try on hairstyles virtually, there should be a way to try on wigs virtually. If you could upload a photo or enter the dimensions of your head and then try on virtually, you can get an idea of where the ear tabs will fall, for example or how long the bangs will be. It would save a lot of time and money on returns. Eventually, someone will invent it, but until then, buying wigs online is a crapshoot. I prefer to buy locally, however most wig shops don’t carry a very large variety and if you buy the same wig through a wig shop, it will cost double.Vee B.

-1 star for how easily it tangles and sheds; I recommend wearing the hair down over updos because of it -1 star for how chunky highlights are at the part which are unconcealable +1 star for cap and hairline In my pics, I have not plucked the hairline, but I have straightened the wig and rearranged the part. The cap on this wig is definitely better quality than my cheaper amazon wigs (I like that it has velcro straps), but the hair itself both tangles and comes out more easily than my cheapy $30-50 wigs, which is unfortunate. I'd recommend not even bothering to try to do a half updo with this wig, which I'm personally disappointed by but that's okay, it looks good down. The lace came pre-cut, not sure if it was supposed to, but it fits perfectly and blends right into my pale skin, which is great. Hairline is great, pretty natural looking. I ordered the color FS4/33/30A Midnight Cocoa – the highlights are so chunky right up into the part (see pics). Doesn't matter which way you part it, you have giant stripes in your hair with this color (not too noticeable from straight on or from the side but I disapprove still haha). So I would NOT recommend the colors with highlights like this one, just get a solid color. So overall, I wish I got a different color, but that's on me. It's otherwise a pretty good wig and I would recommend it.Aubrey H.
