The description states "Headband" while in actuality it's a scarf. It also has two combs (one in front, one in back) to attach the wig to the hair on your head. I have no hair. I would not have purchased this style had I known the correct specifications. Since I read the reviews about the poor customer service when requesting a refund I found a way to secure the wig to my bald head. That being said, the wig looks great and I love how the braids are finished with twists. The color works with my skin tone. I scarf tie is cumbersome. I thought it a stretched band and not a long loose tie. I love the braids but I don't care for the tie thing. If you were going to design it to tie consider the length.It's not long enough to wrap around and come back to the front. So there is a lot of the tie hanging down in the back. When I first received the wig I was worried that it would be too thin. But, when I am wearing it, I find that the lower density looks extremely natural and more realistic than the overly thick human hair wigs I have had in the past. The hair is very smooth and you can run your fingers right through it. I had the Kim by Jon Reneau which has extremely sick denier. I have this bravo wig in the color R 11 S. It looks extremely realistic as though my hair had been professionally highlighted. I also find the lace front to be the best I have ever worn. The netting is so fine that I truly can barely see it. This is the first wig I have on where I do not feel the need to cut the lace. Although some may not like the thin density for the shorter length, I find it perfect for every day wear. I was looking for a wig that was short enough to be comfortably worn every day easy to tuck behind the ears, yet long enough to be pulled back out of my face. Also I would like to add that this week does not shed at all so I am expecting it to last quite a while.I gave this four stars only because I do wish there was slightly more hair in the lower back region of the cap.Patricia D.
I‘m a huge Raquel Welch wigs fan, it’s my favorite brand. And I had my eyes on this style for a while and think the stock photo looks fabulous. But it’s my first and last style in regular synthetic. I love the True2Life HD fibers by Raquel Welch, they look and feel like human hair. But these are just extremely shiny and it has a lot of hair! The color Glazed Sand is really nice and the lace front on this style is impeccable, and as this was my first unrooted color, it’s even better and more undetectable than the rooted colors. Nora is a delightful fluff and go style with waves and almost curls. I got it in color 38, which is light ash brown with grey. It is supposed to be light ash brown with 25 percent grey (it seems a bit more than that;) It would be nice if Paula Young had at least one style featured in this color. The ash brown is very close to my natural color (a bit lighter) but Nora has more grey than I do personally. Nora arrived smelling absolutely wretched; I almost gagged when I opened the box. I had to wash the wig immediately. I used Paula Young shampoo. I thought I detected the (fumigant?) odor even after the wash, but when Nora dried, she no longer smelled. When I first put her on after she'd dried she was not pretty and the curls were mashed against the cap. I shook her vigorously and then took a wide tooth comb and really brought the fibers up off the cap. I wasn't rough, but I was deliberate in going over the entire wig to revive the fibers. I was able to achieve a style very similar to the catalog photo. In my photos, Nora has a more shag-like appearance, but once on she can be fluffed to the rounded silhouette of the catalog photo. Nora fits my 22.25 inch head comfortably and could be adjusted to go even a bit larger, or smaller. I find the fibers dry to the touch and just a bit coarser than my own very fine hair (although Nora's fiber does not look coarse.) Nora is comfortable to wear and an adorable style that goes with dressy as well as casual outfits. If you are prepared to spend a few moments waking Nora up after you first get her home, I think you will be pleasantly surprised at her fluff and go versatility. When this DANCE wig and COLOR ME EXQUISITE wigs arrived, upon removing them from the box they were cute, and the colors were pretty and the best thing they had going for them, However, they didn't look much like the ones the models in the pictures wore. And there is too much perma tease or "fluff" to them. They had really no style to them at all. Especially in the front, just couldn't do much with them. And didn't want to try since being careful with them is a must when trying them on. Very disappointed with these wigs. In my humble opinion they were not great and not keepers. So I am returning them and probably won't buy anymore wigs again. I am completely disappointed with my purchase. I ordered two of this wig because I really like the look of the style in the picture. The wigs I received will not comb into the style shown. The top is spiked and will only stand straight up and the bangs stick straight out and will not lay nicely against the forehead. I tried to tame it down with wig spray and hair gel but it won't lay down. The top hair stands straight up and the bangs stick straight out. The wig will not comb into a nice smooth pixie like the picture shows. I would not recommend a person buy this wig unless you want spiked hair that stands straight up at the top of your head and bangs that stick straight out at your forehead. Oh my gosh. I can now stop shopping for the wig that suits me in every way as I have found it in the Jamie Lynn! I have had short hair for almost 13 years and wanted something more youthful, easy to wear and comfortable. I have always wanted hair that was a beautiful blonde (mine is more dish-water blonde) but didn't want to spend the $ or the time at the hair salon. I am tired of short hair but not 100% comfortable in long hair as I am 62 years old (at least not to wear on a daily basis – nights out perhaps). My first ever wig purchase was a bust! I was hopeful that I would love them (I bought 2) when they arrived. Very professional packaging. Once I gave the wig a little shake and let everything settle,i prepared to put on. My best friend orders your wigs all the time but hers are all a light brown or blonde and she recommended getting the “rooted” colors. Mine was flame rooted so I was expecting a deeper shade of red. This is a deep brown and black at the roots, which to me looks VERY unnatural. I’ve had auburn hair most of my life but never those kind of roots! This wig looks amazing out of the box! The curls are perfect, the color options are great, and it looks very natural. Most people don't even realize I'm wearing a wig unless they know to look for it. For weeks, it will look fantastic (I get more compliments than I did when I had bio hair). However, the hair is extremely long and fine so it does tend to become frizzy quickly. You can maintain the hair with careful washing, storage and a handheld streamer to help uncurl the frizz. Time will take it's toll though. This is a tough wig to wear as an everyday wig unless you want to replace it fairly often or you have a lot of skill with keeping a wig looking it's best.Kayla C.

Do not hesitate to invest in yourself with the Blake. I got the large. The hair is like a waterfall, silky, and smooth. I got the Pralines and cream because I like blond but not the bleach blond fake color. I am in love with the hair!
Sarah is the perfect wavy wig for about any hair style. Great for a pony tail, messy bun, low bun. Of course when one is styling Sarah, only use a hair elastic for heavy hair and when taking it out, do not pull the elastic through the hair…work the hair out carefully from the elastic. Any pulling on the hair may break the structure and turn frizzy. Once the hair is damaged, there is no going back. As far as the comparison……(1) 100% better than High Octane by Raquel Welch; (2) better than Estetica's new long beach wavy wig; and 200% better than Ellen Wille's Lola. I got Lola and that wig is a hot mess…looks like a bad perm and that surprises me because EW puts out a good quality wig. I actually have 2 Sarah's now..one in Shaded Praline & Cream and the other in Shaded Praline. That's my review.

Thick mane of hair that is so realistic although I will get it thinned out a bit by my hairdress. Wow! This wig is lovely! I really didn't have to do much, other than to cut bangs for it, and it was absolutely, perfect for Sleeping Beauty. This wig was unlucky enough to be the first wig I ever took scissors to. However, it held up great and was a joy to work with. 🙂 I do want to add that some of the stitches in the size-adjustment ribbon were coming out. I know how to sew, so this was not a big issue and definitely not worth my docking any points from the quality of the wig, itself.Greta H
As soon as I put the wig on, the clasp to tighten the wig, broke off, and where you clip it on the wig, also ripped off. So now, the wig does not fit properly. I will have to sew pieces back together to be able to tighten the wig. The curls get messed up real quick and it’s extremely frizzy.Anonymous
The color is beautiful. If you look for a very natural looking warm blonde tone! The 'strawberry color' is mixed with blonde highlights. I love it a lot as it's exactly what I was looking for. If you want a 'more orange' colored wig, I'd recommend another one though! The thickness is very good! It also has a V shape at the front, where the lace sits. Keep that in mind! I liked the look of it. The curls are easily brushed and won't tangle that much. A little bit is normal though. For this thickness it's awesome. I love it and would recommend it any time!Anonymous
