Absolutely love this wig. Its comfortable to wear for a long period of time, the texture is great so it'll blend in perfectly with your own natural hair. So far I haven't experienced any shedding or loss of hair and I always wash my units when I receive them and the curls bounced back to their amazing fluffy bouncy self. The wig is full so there is no gaps or nothing like that when you wear it. I got the color 1b and it blended in very well with my own hair. I didn't do much fluffing of the curls because one that I cut out, I pulled it loose and separated it. The bouncy curl really pulled out to a loose wave. I won't mind that after a few more wears. The color was spot on to my hair color. I bought a #2. After wearing the half wig, I wish I had gotten the full wig instead. I just think the curls, after they drop or are pulled out, will be nicer on the full wig. I have always wanted to have locs, So when I saw this one on a you tube review I was quite happy. I bought 3 of them. The price is reasonable and the wig is well made! It fits like a glove on my head. You don't have to put bobby pins to secure it , it will stay in place. And the gravy is that it looks natural.
She got to me in about 3 days. I picked the color 350 and I used mascara to make the roots darker to create the "growing out of the head" look. I used my normal concealer I use for my face on the part and Voila! People always ask me if it's my real hair. I will purchase another….Sade M.
This hair looks great from a distance and will definitely do the job. It is constructed kind of strange and has straight hair underlying the locks (???) I am assuming they did this to cover up any empty spaces. Also, this wig is really heavy and hot. I am saving it for the fall and when it gets cooler out. Other than that, it really looks like my own locks. Because of the way it is constructed I should only give it 3 stars but it really looks good.

I've been wearing wigs for over way 20 years and appreciate that companies are really listening to customers. While I dislike that manufacturers of non-AA persuasion are profiting from us, I will occasionally support a brand that at least attempts to get my 4C hair texture right. I have fooled everyone with this wig. Only my immediate fam, who has seen my real hair, knows my secret. Pros: 1- the wig lasts long ( I've been wearing it for over 3 months now, 2- it is versatile (I've cut it into at least 4 distinct styles–it's a tapered afro now), 3- it's easy to maintain, 4- it's light-weight, 5- it fits my big head ( over 24" circumference), 6- it works well under my African print hair wraps. I own a 1B. I'm feeling funky and will order the rm/violet color. Con- It's voluminous. Don't be afraid to cut the density out to make it look real. And cut and cut and cut. The wig looks better once it's beaten up, say like in week 3 of daily wear. Sleep on it. Go to the beach. Roll in the hay. Wear it to a picnic. The dustier and more tangled it looks, the better. It's easy to wash and dry.

I love this wig. It looks so natural, and so comfortable on. This is the only one I ever wear. The first time I cut my hair short this was the style I had. So, when I started wearing this wig no one thought anything. They just thought I went back to my short style and love it. It is so easy to maintain. Like the straight look in front, like the layering in back; however, at the very bottom in back, the synthetic fibers or strands should have a curl and not straight effect. After wearing during the day, when look at the bottom, the strands are sticking out and have a messy look. Having hairdresser to try to correct problem in back on bottom.
The wig length and fullness were not well suited for me. The synthetic hair seemed both shorter and less thick than described, especially in the crown area where really needed to make the wig look more like site images and product description. The color was nice, and as expected. The cap fit, but barely. It was difficult to align the sides/ear tabs well enough to allow a fit good enough to make it look more like my natural hair than a wig. Additionally, the right side was shorter, and due to the fit issue I was not inclined to having it trimmed to see if that would improve the look.Sheryl

Looks absolutely nothing like the photo in your catalog. Nothing like what “Coloured Beautiful” reviewed on FB. The wig I received was considerably shorter but I could work with it. So I decided to order another of the same wig to see if I’d get the one that looked like the catalog photo. What I received looked so terrible I immediately put it in the trash. Thank you so much for a truly amazing product. I have ordered before from different companies and every single time I open the box and my heart sinks. I honestly feel they got the orders mixed up. The other companies say that the lighting makes the color look different, but the whole wig was not what I ordered. Your product is perfect. It looks exactly like what I ordered, color, style everything is perfect. It took me 2 days to build up the courage to open the box and look. I ordered this style in the color Kahula…It is a light/medium brown with blonde highlights. I had a hard time getting a picture that really captured the shape but it is pretty close to the model. The curls look really natural…like you have naturally curly hair and the style is a fun combination between tame and wild (if that makes sense!) I have probably 20+ wigs and wear them everyday…I got this one because it was totally different from any others I have. I work a very physically demanding job, so I wanted something that was cute but would not tangle or require me to mess with it during my shift. I did wear this out tonight for girls night out with my best friend…I can always count on her to tell me the truth about the basics – does it look natural, is it flattering, and most important, does it look "wiggy"…this one passed with flying colors! The other thing I like was the price…I typically only buy mono-top wigs because they look so natural, but with the curls, it isn't noticeable at all and it keeps the price down. I can definitely see myself buying this in another color!

I have worn Tony of Beverly wigs for eight years and previously ordered them from other websites, with great success and no alterations needed. My mom has ordered her wigs from Paula Young via mail for many years, so I was excited to order my first wig from Paula Young. This style, color, and price (with free shipping) were exactly what I was looking for. The order was accurate and arrived in a timely manner. The color and back of the wig are wonderful. I didn't give this wig a higher rating because it is rather thin and has too much movement on the sides and keeps falling into my eyes when I barely turn my head or there is just a hint of a breeze outside. Because of the way the wig was constructed, it took an experienced hair cutter over an hour to figure out how to trim the bangs (which were way down to the tip of my nose).Diane
My first ever wig purchase was a bust! I was hopeful that I would love them (I bought 2) when they arrived. Very professional packaging. Once I gave the wig a little shake and let everything settle,i prepared to put on. My best friend orders your wigs all the time but hers are all a light brown or blonde and she recommended getting the “rooted” colors. Mine was flame rooted so I was expecting a deeper shade of red. This is a deep brown and black at the roots, which to me looks VERY unnatural. I’ve had auburn hair most of my life but never those kind of roots! I was borderline in sizing and know now that I should have ordered a large because even after adjusting the Velcro it still did not sit well on my head. I will be returning both wigs and shop at a local wig shop when I have the urge to have a wig again.Deborah
I actually bought this style so i could curl it myself and its perfect. Exactly what i was looking for. The color is perfect not to light not to dark. The most realistic wig i have to date. Also this is my first Paula Young wig and i will be ordering more in the future. Love the fibers and the fact that its not too shiny. Got this wig in chocolate mix, love the color. It is light weight, soft and silky NO SHINE! Feels and looks natural. My head size is 22 1/4",fits perfectly. Wore it on a trip for 8 hours in the car…and it tangles! Have to frequently comb with a wide tooth comb to detangle it. All long synthetic hairs will tangled. Still a lovely wig though……Cindy
