I bought two of these, one for myself and one for my older sister, it was love at first sight and we were not let down when we received them. My sister put hers on and when standing in front of me I couldn't tell it wasn't her own hair. The colors I ordered were identical to our own true color. The cap fit us both perfectly and we both choose to wear it with just a shake and then on. We like the natural way it looks and mimmicks our own hair texture and color. on 12/29 I decided to order two more wigs, one for me and one to give to my sister as a backup. For myself I'm trying a color so different from my own. This wig doesn't overpower the face and the hair isn't too thick. I have about 12 wigs and this is my favorite go to coverup. After reading all the reviews, I was excited to get this wig. I have a smaller than average head. So the reviews saying it was too small were what decided me on this one. I got the dark platinum, it reads as blond, I wanted it in the golden blond, but it looks so good that I'm glad I got this color. I no longer have enough hair of my own to achieve the look I get from this wig. My hairdresser was totally blown away at how great this wig looks on me. This morning we had a Sherri show in the salon-with lots of laughter, I had taken the two wigs in, Many thanks to Sherri for bringing these great wigs to us, I would suggest a gray/blond/platinum blend as a color choice for those of us that were sand blond all our lives. I own four of Sherri Shepherd wigs..two in the Blonde, Auburn and Brown Pixie, one light brown swag pixie?? and one in the Light Silver Pixie style. I also bought a friend of mine one in the Pixie Dark Grey. I bought my first one in 2011 in the tri color here on QVC from Sherri Shepherd and have not had one minute of worry with it. Still beautiful today..I ordered a second one recently because I never want to be with out it. I was going through chemo at the time and then on hormones that continued to make my hair even thinner. I never have a Bad Hair Day!! 🙂 The fit, quality and price are wonderful!! Having been near bald for the past five years plus I prefer the Pixie styles the best. Not too much hair and always looks natural on me. My husband gets upset when I tell people it is a wig. I am constantly being told how great MY hair looks. Since this wig was on sale, I cannot return it. The unfortunate thing is that I did opt for calling the help desk, pointing out that one reviewer stated that the wig was “much darker” than the picture. That reviewer was right! The wig is much darker; in fact, the back is absolutely black. The blond/light color pieces are very minimal. Extremely disappointed! Since the help desk doesn’t actually have product information, why are they there? Why did she tell me “the other reviewer probably ordered the wrong wig.” Not so! I will never order anything else from a company that poorly equips the people who answer your phone. And, if that picture is representative, you really don’t care what people are paying you for. I have chin length, silver-gray hair with a medium curl, and got this wig in the gradient gray color to wear when I am having a bad hair day, so it would match as closely as I could get it. That lace front edge is sooo realistic looking, people won't be able to tell it's a wig at all! The variation in colors also make it look very realistic. The overall cap size is very generous, so I don't feel I have to tug on it. Feels very secure. It came pretty tightly curled and squashed, but I gave it a good brushing with a very wide toothed brush, and a good shake, and it's perfect! I am over the moon about this wig! I was excited in anticipation of receiving this wig as I am currently undergoing chemotherapy and have been looking for cute & affordable wigs to wear during this time. While the style of this wig is very nice/cute, I was very disappointed with the color. I ordered Golden Brown/Auburn Highlights. I expected a lighter shade of brown with red/auburn highlights; however, the wig received looked like a very dark brown with golden blonde highlights. I returned the wig thinking the wrong color wig was packed in the box. I received the replacement wig and discovered the same issue…wig color was a very dark brown (not golden brown) with golden blonde highlights (no where resembling red/auburn highlights). Thus, the reason I gave this review 2 stars. I have returned both wigs for a refund.

Nora is a delightful fluff and go style with waves and almost curls. I got it in color 38, which is light ash brown with grey. It is supposed to be light ash brown with 25 percent grey (it seems a bit more than that;) It would be nice if Paula Young had at least one style featured in this color. The ash brown is very close to my natural color (a bit lighter) but Nora has more grey than I do personally. Nora arrived smelling absolutely wretched; I almost gagged when I opened the box. I had to wash the wig immediately. I used Paula Young shampoo. I thought I detected the (fumigant?) odor even after the wash, but when Nora dried, she no longer smelled. When I first put her on after she'd dried she was not pretty and the curls were mashed against the cap. I shook her vigorously and then took a wide tooth comb and really brought the fibers up off the cap. I wasn't rough, but I was deliberate in going over the entire wig to revive the fibers. I was able to achieve a style very similar to the catalog photo. In my photos, Nora has a more shag-like appearance, but once on she can be fluffed to the rounded silhouette of the catalog photo. Nora fits my 22.25 inch head comfortably and could be adjusted to go even a bit larger, or smaller. I find the fibers dry to the touch and just a bit coarser than my own very fine hair (although Nora's fiber does not look coarse.) Nora is comfortable to wear and an adorable style that goes with dressy as well as casual outfits. If you are prepared to spend a few moments waking Nora up after you first get her home, I think you will be pleasantly surprised at her fluff and go versatility. When this DANCE wig and COLOR ME EXQUISITE wigs arrived, upon removing them from the box they were cute, and the colors were pretty and the best thing they had going for them, However, they didn't look much like the ones the models in the pictures wore. And there is too much perma tease or "fluff" to them. They had really no style to them at all. Especially in the front, just couldn't do much with them. And didn't want to try since being careful with them is a must when trying them on. Very disappointed with these wigs. In my humble opinion they were not great and not keepers. So I am returning them and probably won't buy anymore wigs again. Sorry PY but your wigs need to be lighter weight, lay nicer, (some of us like a bit flatter style) far less perma tease or fluff, easier to wear right out of the box…Thanks anyway…Juanita
I am completely disappointed with my purchase. I ordered two of this wig because I really like the look of the style in the picture. The wigs I received will not comb into the style shown. The top is spiked and will only stand straight up and the bangs stick straight out and will not lay nicely against the forehead. I tried to tame it down with wig spray and hair gel but it won't lay down. The top hair stands straight up and the bangs stick straight out. The wig will not comb into a nice smooth pixie like the picture shows. I would not recommend a person buy this wig unless you want spiked hair that stands straight up at the top of your head and bangs that stick straight out at your forehead. I emailed to return the unit I ordered. They don’t work weekends so there’s that. This website isn’t hard to navigate. I give 1 star because the hair I received was very choppy cut in the back to the point you look crazy if you wear it. The sizing options are not available for you to choose from, so they send whatever size they want. The cap I received is soooooooo small. Waaay too small. The return policy is a joke. I ordered a unit for 45 dollars. 55 with taxes and shipping. To return, I would have to put shipping again and I wouldn’t receive any money back from either shipping. Then they keep 20% for restocking fees…. So I would get back basically 15 dollars. DONT BUY THROUGH THIS WEBSITE unless you’re sure of what you’re getting because you have ordered it before.Errika S.
Love this unit. These color is nice even though that's not the rose gold I was looking for but, I knew that from the reviews. It's more like a light blonde and light pink mixed color, it's very pretty depending on how the light hits it. The cap construction is good and the lace is great, just add a li'l powder nothing much.
