Bought this piece because of the reviews online. They were pretty spot on so far. The curls are very bouncy, pretty, and full. I have only worn her once and received lots of compliments. My only qualm is the amount of hair. I had to do a little thinning before I felt it looked good. But even though there is a lot of hair, the piece is very light weight which has been true to other reviews. I don't use the combs but it has ample head room, big head friendly; and comes with a long comb up front and a smaller one in back along with two adjustable straps, pretty standard these days. I didn't do much fluffing of the curls because one that I cut out, I pulled it loose and separated it. The bouncy curl really pulled out to a loose wave. I won't mind that after a few more wears. The color was spot on to my hair color. I bought a #2. After wearing the half wig, I wish I had gotten the full wig instead. I just think the curls, after they drop or are pulled out, will be nicer on the full wig. It was a great purchase thus far and I do recommend it especially for those that have the creativity to do many styles with a half wig. I actually purchased some #2 braid hair, braided a long section, then used it as a braided head band over the front of the piece. Hopefully I can get some good, long wear out of is but that is TBD. I've had this wig over a year now (15-16 months). I absolutely love the look but even with caring for it and brushing it daily (the days I wore it) the very back gets severely tangled. I will still wear the wig, but only if I want to be bothered with brushing longer than usual. Nora is a delightful fluff and go style with waves and almost curls. I got it in color 38, which is light ash brown with grey. It is supposed to be light ash brown with 25 percent grey (it seems a bit more than that;) It would be nice if Paula Young had at least one style featured in this color. The ash brown is very close to my natural color (a bit lighter) but Nora has more grey than I do personally. Nora arrived smelling absolutely wretched; I almost gagged when I opened the box. I had to wash the wig immediately. I used Paula Young shampoo. I thought I detected the (fumigant?) odor even after the wash, but when Nora dried, she no longer smelled. When I first put her on after she'd dried she was not pretty and the curls were mashed against the cap. I shook her vigorously and then took a wide tooth comb and really brought the fibers up off the cap. I wasn't rough, but I was deliberate in going over the entire wig to revive the fibers. I was able to achieve a style very similar to the catalog photo. In my photos, Nora has a more shag-like appearance, but once on she can be fluffed to the rounded silhouette of the catalog photo. Nora fits my 22.25 inch head comfortably and could be adjusted to go even a bit larger, or smaller. I find the fibers dry to the touch and just a bit coarser than my own very fine hair (although Nora's fiber does not look coarse.) Nora is comfortable to wear and an adorable style that goes with dressy as well as casual outfits. If you are prepared to spend a few moments waking Nora up after you first get her home, I think you will be pleasantly surprised at her fluff and go versatility. When this DANCE wig and COLOR ME EXQUISITE wigs arrived, upon removing them from the box they were cute, and the colors were pretty and the best thing they had going for them, However, they didn't look much like the ones the models in the pictures wore. And there is too much perma tease or "fluff" to them. They had really no style to them at all. Especially in the front, just couldn't do much with them. And didn't want to try since being careful with them is a must when trying them on. Very disappointed with these wigs. In my humble opinion they were not great and not keepers. So I am returning them and probably won't buy anymore wigs again. I am completely disappointed with my purchase. I ordered two of this wig because I really like the look of the style in the picture. The wigs I received will not comb into the style shown. The top is spiked and will only stand straight up and the bangs stick straight out and will not lay nicely against the forehead. I tried to tame it down with wig spray and hair gel but it won't lay down. The top hair stands straight up and the bangs stick straight out. The wig will not comb into a nice smooth pixie like the picture shows. I would not recommend a person buy this wig unless you want spiked hair that stands straight up at the top of your head and bangs that stick straight out at your forehead. I saw this wig on a friend and it was very becoming to her. I love the color of my wig. It’s light brown with golden bronze highlights. I was a little uncomfortable with the tight curls, but I pulled it out in the front to make bangs. I received so many compliments I started to feel comfortable. did not like the tight curls. I thought they would be much looser. the color was perfect. I was also susrprised at all the additional taxes that brought the price up much more than I expected. I do know there are taxes on the merchandise. I had already cut the tags off the wig and did not realize it could be returned. I will continue to order from you but I will look carefully at the product prior to trying it on and removing the tags.Gayle
I chose the auburn color which is complementary to my skin tone. The pops of brown and blonde add some interest. Most over the counter wigs are too tight on my head and by the end of the day I have a headache. But this one fits excellently. I like the fact that where hooks usually are this one has Velcro. I am amazed at how many compliments I have gotten when wearing this wig. It looks very natural. At 73 years of age this week helps me to look years younger!Deborah

I had purchased this wig BEFORE and I was truly please with the texture and the style however this time the wig was not what I had expected. Due to my excitement and anticipation expecting what I had received before I had removed all the tags on the wig and was unable to return it to your company. I purchased these two wigs (Olivia and Felicity) for my college homecoming this past weekend. I waited to try them once I traveled there. To my dismay, neither of them looked like the picture. Both are more dense and Felicity is much shorter than pictured. It is obvious that these wigs are thinned and professionally styled for the models. I ended up wearing the one that I had previously. Additionally, when I purchased the units, they were not advertised as clearance, however, when I called to initiate refund (ensure I was doing refund request correctly…1st time customer) was told that I could only exchange because they were clearance.
