I had purchased this wig off of amazon, I was a little upset that it was labeled a “Lace Front” because when it arrived it was not. BUT the quality is more than amazing, you could easily play around with the part a little bit pluck out some hair around the hair line, give it a trim whatever you please!! The length is perfect, one thing I will say is it does shed a bit which is normal with synthetic wigs. It says you can use LOW heat but when I tried freshening up some curls it wouldn’t curl at all. I have bought a couple different wigs from this brand. The hair feels nice but I have not gotten lace front wigs from them. I have gotten their simulated scalp which is apparently supposed to look natural but it definitely does not. This is a great beginners lace front wig! I am not a wig wearer but saw this on an IG page and tried for moths to order and finally caught it in stock! It is easy to install and looks very similar to my natural hair blown out and flat ironed just fuller which is why I like it! The wig cap is large so it will fit larger heads, which is bit of a con for me. I wig horizontally is too large or too long for my head so the lace on each side covers my ears. (I don't believe I have a small head). If I tuck it behind it is rather uncomfortable even after adjusting the clips and band adjuster inside the cap. I tried curling the hair at 400 degrees and it straightened it instead, could be user error though. Overall, the wig looks and feels great for the price. I'm not sure if the wig could be washed but for the price it may not be worth washing when you can just buy a new one! It is not an everyday wig if you are a newbie at wearing wigs. It can become quite uncomfortable after a few hours. I purchased this wig from a different site, but wanted to leave a review here as well since this was the first site I looked for the wig and the other site no longer has it. After I received my order it was apparent that the color was just not a good one for me. I had ordered two wigs, both the same color and found that in person they were just very fake and not a natural look at all. I sent them back and then after reading the instruction found that over half the amount I paid for them was to be deducted due to the various charges they put on returns. A few months ago, I ordered the "Alex" wig. I love it! I ordered a second one so that I would always have it ready. While the first one was – and stil is – perfect, the second one is straggly and sloppy looking. When I first took it out of the box and followed directions (shaking, etc,) it looked ok. I put it aside til I could get a styrofoam head. Once I put it on that, it showed itself. I cannot wear it. I have not worn it. I received the wig in a couple of weeks of ordering..I tried it on but it kept slipping off my head. The velcro tapes were set to the tightest setting. I took the wig to my hairdresser thinking it should be cut as the style was so weird.. She told me to wash it first in fairly hot water so some of the crushing from shipping would come out.. Seriously after wearing it for 30 seconds it looked like I was a cone head!! The inside just above the bangs there is a circle of heavy knit capping.. Not the stretch lace like the rest of the wig liner is made from…This is advertised as a whisper lite wig?…My head dripped with sweat in a few minutes as it just does not breathe the same as my other wigs? My hairdresser suggested it not be cut but to somehow get it made smaller. I have Alopecia so have bought and worn wigs for some years. I have always had wigs come with a stretchy lace type liner with metal adjustable clips on the elastic straps. I live in Canada so not an option to return the wig with the high postage, tax paid and the exchange rate…. So I bought some crazy glue to cinch up the elastic tapes making them shorter.. that was a total mess as the glue did not adhere the same as my other many wigs have done when the elastic stretched out.. I then pinched the material together to sew it on each side to tighten to fit my head.. I have always worn an average size wig… This one with that hard thick cone or dome inside was something else!!! Why did I take the added expense of a hairdresser as well as buying the glue?? The color of the wig and the style now that I have the cap fitting properly suits me to no end!! I look stunning in it and it looks like my own hair. My hairdresser says it does not look at all like a wig….So I made all of these compromises! I suggest that they make this Wig in all sizes so we don't have to glue or sew our fingers trying to make them smaller than Average. I have 3 Geneva style wigs and love them. I ordered 2 more, it the new ones are much shorter in length than my 3 older ones. Very disappointing that they are not consistent in the styling & length. Geneva rooted is by far my favorite, but the ones I just received are very pixie ish. Even my husband commented on the shortness. I did send one back &kept the other. I don’t know if I will even wear this new one. Not good quality control. Too bad, I have praised their products to friends & family,but now w/a warning.Judy
For the fifth ( or sixth) time in the last 18 months, the wig has been of poor quality….thin, flat, choppy looking. Not like pictured, not like previous purchases. I’ve worn PY wigs for 10 years and have come to expect natural looking hair. I wear them out of necessity, so receiving these last ones has not only been disappointing, but necessitates buying new ones. I have donated several to the cancer center. They have hairdressers who can work with the wigs to make them useable for patients in need. Skills I don’t have. I can’t afford to keep donating and buying anew 😔Carolyn
The wig is lovely in the picture on the website, a little different than what came. I am sure it is the same wig, but the styling was somewhat different. I wasn't thrilled with how it looked on me. On someone else it will be pretty. The quality of the workmanship was good, and it fit really well. But no matter how you try to picture yourself with a certain hairstyle you just can't until you try it on and look in the mirror. I do wish that the website had software for virtual try on where you could upload your picture and try on the wigs before you order. I am sending this one back, just not for me.Cathy

When I first received the wig I was worried that it would be too thin. But, when I am wearing it, I find that the lower density looks extremely natural and more realistic than the overly thick human hair wigs I have had in the past. The hair is very smooth and you can run your fingers right through it. I had the Kim by Jon Reneau which has extremely sick denier. I have this bravo wig in the color R 11 S. It looks extremely realistic as though my hair had been professionally highlighted. I also find the lace front to be the best I have ever worn. The netting is so fine that I truly can barely see it. This is the first wig I have on where I do not feel the need to cut the lace. Although some may not like the thin density for the shorter length, I find it perfect for every day wear. I was looking for a wig that was short enough to be comfortably worn every day easy to tuck behind the ears, yet long enough to be pulled back out of my face. Also I would like to add that this week does not shed at all so I am expecting it to last quite a while.I gave this four stars only because I do wish there was slightly more hair in the lower back region of the cap.Patricia D.
I‘m a huge Raquel Welch wigs fan, it’s my favorite brand. And I had my eyes on this style for a while and think the stock photo looks fabulous. But it’s my first and last style in regular synthetic. I love the True2Life HD fibers by Raquel Welch, they look and feel like human hair. But these are just extremely shiny and it has a lot of hair! The color Glazed Sand is really nice and the lace front on this style is impeccable, and as this was my first unrooted color, it’s even better and more undetectable than the rooted colors. The most natural looking wig I have ever purchased. A friend who knows I wear wigs, asked if she was seeing my bio hair. I was wearing hand tied Center Stage with the lovely lace front when she sat across from me at a restaurant that day. Nothing more needs to be written to explain the 5 stars. Center Stage has the most natural looking 'part' and believable density. I currently have this in 2 different but similar colors. I am shocked to see negative reviews. I ordered this in the Salt Pepper Mix. I really like the color. I some what like the style. It is too long and looks like you really need a trim at the nap of your neck. The quality problem is the same problem I have seen with three Ellen Wille wigs I ordered. There are little short hairs sticking up all over the back of the crown area or in the case of Cara 100 Deluxe wig the short straight hairs were sticking out all over the top. Another complaint, is that the picture here on the website is very inaccurate. In the red haired picture, that wig has been cut in the back. Wigs should not be altered in pictures for advertising a wig. I like that Ellen Wille wigs do not have excessive permatease and the cap being an petite/average fits me better than average sizes. But these quality issues are costing me a lot of money when you have to return the wig. Unfortunately, I don't have a wig store near me where I could try on wigs.
I ordered this wig in two colors, hoping that it was a bit more wavy to curly style with natural density on top. I was kinda hoping for the love child between Ellen Wille Arrow and Girl Mono. I was going on stock pictures and youtube reviews, but in reality it has a very choppy, strongly layered cut, and no real waves or curls. I had to brush these wigs with a regular "forbidden" kind of hairbrush instead of a wide tooth comb, to make the hair come together, instead of each lock of hair being super pieced out, doing their own thing. It also has a bit of permatease on one side of the part, and that kind of increased in volume during the day that I've worn her. For my head and face shape (large), permatease isn't a good idea. So… for me personally it's not a winner. However, if you need that extra bit of volume on top, you will LOVE this! If you like choppy layers and playfulness, but not really want to go for full curls or beach waves, this is a yes! Quality of hair is amazing and the cap is super comfortable. Lace front on Ellen Wille is one of the best in the industry in my opinion.Lea S.
Wish I had bought this piece first. Wore it right out of box. Professionally cut, realistic density and very fine denier. Hairline is undetectable. With hand tying too, It’s the most natural piece I have. Mine is champagne mix, it is close in shade to RW shaded biscuit, Henry Margu 10/613GR, and maybe JR’s Palm Springs Blond? Ellen Wille’s shade is a nice blend for most any med to ash blonde or for someone whose blonde is beginning to gray. No gold really. Not shiny. Very nice length. I still have a lot of hair length and that is the only challenge with me wearing this one since it is designed to fit with very little to no hair. I am making it work tucking my hair flat under wig cap. My bio hair has thinned to point that I need more hair to look normal again. I’m a petite/med? My purchase of this wig was supposed to be merely a stopgap. During my time at home my hair looked more and more like Don L. King's. There was no way that I would chance cutting my own hair and decided to venture into wig-world. The wig was inexpensive, so I thought the post-covid, I'd use it for Halloween. Lo and behold, the wig is gorgeous! It is the exact shade of gray as my grown out roots. It falls right into the sleek and sophisticated style I like as I put it on. When I return to the workplace, I will definitely be sporting this wig. To that end, I ordered and received three more. I wanted to be sure that I have back-ups when one is being washed or begins to look worn. Despite the strong reviews, I nearly passed on this wig when a YouTube reviewer pointed out that it is not big-head-friendly. Please understand, I have a certifiably BIG head. Sure enough, at first it rode up my forehead making it look more like a toupee than a pixie cut. Decided to try snipping the inside elastic (without ever cutting all the way through) in several places around the circumference. That step combined with a wig grip did the trick. It is comfortable and fits beautifully. My only tiny quibble is that it a bit shinier than I'd like even after applying baby powder and brushing it through. But that is so minor that it doesn't really disturb me. Given the lock-down encompassing most of the country, I thought that it would take some time for my order to arrive. I was shocked by the quick delivery of the first wig and my subsequent re-order. Wonderful customer service! Consider me a fan.Deborah B.
