…..And not for the better. Like other loyal Toni Brattin customers, I too have noticed that the quality of the materials has declined, while the price consistently increases. The wigs are no longer packaged in the signature Toni Brattin box for easy storage, they're in a zip lock bag. But the biggest change is that the fibers used for the "hair" are very soft and lacking texture, and the wigs have less hair, making them difficult for many to style. The cut of the wig is also rather hit and miss, too much or too little hair in various places, and cowlicks in the crown.Fortunately for myself, I'm a licensed hair stylist, so I can handle the problem. Over the years, I've ordered four Trendsetters, And I can see the difference in each one ordered. I got this wig in light gray. It looked so fake. Very little hair. I have a lot of hair, and would like to stop coloring it, so I wanted to get used to the color. Well, it had half of the amount of hair I have. It felt super fake, like nylon fibers; it didn’t move like natural hair. It obviously look like a wig. Absolutely awful. Ordered the medium blonde, large size. It looks like a head of great hair on a “good hair day.” The dark roots make the blonde wigs look so realistic. Toni, thank you for adding large sizes to your line. I like this wig because of the 4 1/2 inch bangs. All your other styles have shorter bangs. I have a high forehead and need the longer length bangs. I hope you will bring in more styles with longer bangs, 5 inches plus. Bangs can easily be trimmed or swept to one side, but you can’t add length to a too short bang. Please keep adding to your line. Your wigs are wonderful!Suer
Hi, I like the styling of the wig BUT there was a huge problem with the Dark Roots. I had ordered the light blond wig and it matched my hair color perfectly. but at the crown area there are darkish brown roots…This looked really weird. i had seen the presentation on tv and the roots did not appear to be dark brown or i would not have purchased the wig. if they had been medium blond it would not have been a problem i have purchased many of Toni's hair pieces and love them but this was too weird. It probably would work for someone who wouldn't have a problem with light blonde hair with darkish brown roots… maybe if you have the same style of light blonde wig with medium blonde roots i would definitely have purchased it.nannydew
I thought this was so cute, and my first Brattin wig so was hoping for a great wig. The first error may have been mine; Ive always had a kind of large head /hat size so for the first time I ordered the larger size- but even tightened up it is just too loose. Next prob, the wig is soooo shiny! If I were 20 years old maybe I could pass this off as real hair, but nobody has hair this shiny… it reflects light like crazy, drawing attention to it. I ordered the light blonde and even tho it had quite a bit of quite dark in it ( more than the online swatch shows) , I did like the pretty " frosted "color. But the real issue is that there is SO much "BIG HAIR" ! Unexpected! Looks like a furball on my head. Maybe the 70's look is still is style somewhere, but this looks like a Vegas show wig, with huge fly-back swoops that cant be tamed and a permanent flip at the neck in the back. I was able to tame/smooth out the vast number of wild 'wispy flips' all over the back of the head, but nothing can be done with the top and sides due to the style ( the way it's sewn.) Even when flattened down, the peak where the part is stays put, so there remains weird ; POINTED popped-up hair at the top of the head. I LOOK LIKE A CONEHEAD! I kept it for a couple days, with several tries to tame it so I could keep it, but no luck. Back to Hair U Wear brand 'WISPY" I have 3 of that style and they do look very real. Now I'm reluctant to try another Brattin style, if all the hair is this artificially shiny.brendastarshine

I have had this wig for approximately 6 months and have worn it 4 out of 7 days. I am now noticing the ends at the sides and nape of the neck are fraying, not sure what other word to use, but almost crinkly, like maybe it was heated and it wrinkled up. Very strange. I hate to see this happen because I really liked this wig and didn't expect something like this to happen, but to me, it is very noticeable and doesn't look like hair (maybe doll hair), maybe because it is synethic. This is the reason for only 3 stars. I could cut those ends off, but would make it too short. I'm not sure what I will do. I hate to buy a new wig every 6 months even tho I do have 2 other of Toni's wigs, this was my favorite. I really thought I would like this wig, I played around with it to see if I would change my mind, but No. First of all the dark roots on a medium blonde was too drastic. I thought the roots might be lighter but they were very dark, almost black, it made me look like an unmade bed. I Never have dark roots on my own hair, it makes a person look unkept. The curls were not lose and the wig seemed shorter then the picture. That being said, I sent it back for a refund. Wish these wigs would not all come with such dark roots, why not No roots at all? First , let me preface this by saying this by no means reflects on the the brand. I am sure it’s a very good brand but from my experience I cannot speak to that. What I can say is, I was sent a wig in a plastic bag with no tags or product box, labels or netting. To the credit of the customer service representative she understood immediately and sent out a NEW wig immediately, unfortunately to this date I am still paying for TWO wigs because of the subpar return processing and procedures. My Mother, sister, aunties and many cousins have been customers of QVC some since the early 90’s. The late deliveries and lengthy processing times have caused us to seek other options.miso48

Ok this is the fifth Arya that I have in four different colors. I love the style, softness of fibers. She is very low density no permatease and one of the most realistic wigs I have. She is a workhorse wig and holds up very well; however this one was dry had box hair like never seen before and was very thin. Really disappointed with the lack of hair. A little wind and wefts will be showing on this one. It was in the gray color a very pretty silver actually. It seems the newer wigs do not have near the hair the older ones do. I had several problems with this wig. At first, I didn't understand what the problem was and then I figured out that the major issue was that it was too big for my head. Also, there's so much hair that it made it look unnatural on me. Another major problem is that the root color on the blonde (I tried light and medium) is much, much, much too dark unless you are a natural dark brunette and you would actually let your roots grow out that long. I will say that other than that, the color shading of the blondes was very nice. I never wore this outside the house because I thought the hair strands looked too much like nylon inside the house and thought they'd really look bad in the sun. There is no curl to this wig as shown in the online photos. It is stick straight so prepare for that. I got red/gold which is more gold than red but is pretty. The roots are very dark so looks like someone with very dark brown hair dyed their hair red/gold and now need to touch it up. The amount of hair is thinner which I like. The bangs are very long and will need trimming unless you want bangs hanging in your face. May or may not keep, on the fence. The good thing is the plus size gives us ladies with larger heads a good fit! I don't hate this wig, I just don't love it!NYNY75
Starting in a new role at work & needed to step it up for video calls. The ole hair-pulled-up-in-a-ponytail-no-makeup look had to go. This is a perfect, easy & quick way to pull together a professional look. Always been a blond so I got the platinum, but also got a blond-red one for fun. I received this last night. To my dismay there was very little blonde and definitely more black. My hair has absolutely no dark roots, so I ordered my color of light blonde – not what I got. We love to cruise, but the ship’s water in the shower does not like my hair, giving it no body. I ordered the wig for bad hair days when going to dinner. The wigs from this company are cheap because they are poorly made. I can’t afford expensive wigs and am forced to buy from companies who have poor quality control. So many compliments on this wig EVERY TIME I wear it. The Red Blond coloring is GORGEOUS. It truly looks golden. I needed to use my styling iron a couple of minutes to have the long bangs lie the way I wanted, however the style stays and looks fantastic. Some comments– "You look 20 years younger!" "Your hair is beautiful. " "I love your hair." Today, I met online with 6 other people. Everyone loved my hair and one person said everyone of them should have my hairstyle. Sorry Toni! Perhaps I got a bad one; it can happen of course. I like the cap size and color. But, that's all. When I took the wig out of the box, hairs (at least a dozen) went all over the place. I've never had that happen and I own a number of wigs. I know how to put them on and arrange them. This one had a long spiral piece hanging down the front that would do NOTHING but that! Awful..didn't really seem attached in any way it should have been sewn in. It's always more than annoying to have to go to the trouble of a return and pay a return fee for something so unacceptable.Island Kay

I love this wig. I ordered it in the light blonde and the med blonde and just adore it in both colors. The med blonde has the dark roots and I personal love that as it helps to make it look less like a wig. It looks just like the wig in the video. I fluff it up a bit on the crown as it is flat in that area but that takes no time or care at all. I love the platinum blonde color Toni has also for her wigs but I've been on the waitlist forever for this wig in that color. I have another one of Toni's wig in that color and it is just gorgeous. I have a feeling that color will never be available which is so sad. I ordered the normal size and for me, an average head size, it's perfect. One time I received a Toni wig (Ordered normal size) and the box said normal but inside the wig it said plus and it fit huge on me. I called to send it back and get replacement and the guy was so rude. He kept asking me how do I know it's not a normal and it's a plus size, if the box says normal, then it's normal. It fit huge on my head also and I have 8 Toni wigs, so I know how a normal fits me. Hopefully if you have to send something back you don't get him and if the wig feels not right, check inside to be sure it is what you ordered. I did get a replacement but it didn't come in a box and that made me mad as I have all my wigs lined up so neatly. But, I do highly recommend this wig. It's so pretty.dustydiamond
I decided to take a chance and order Toni's Curly Sensational Wig (I have numerous other styles of Toni's wigs) and so glad I did. I have enjoyed this new style and have had so many GREAT compliments. I have been told that it "lifts" my face and makes me look younger. I love the curls and it is so easy to style and fits just perfect! I liked it so much that I ordered one in the same color (Brown/Blond) as a back up and the medium Blonde, too (total of 3). This wig is long; like a very long flip; lots of hair. The photo is short and lots of curly hair fluffed backward. I don't know if Toni gets a prototype, and then OKs it; and then it is manufactured differently. The color is drab also; brown with gold should be brighter; I think it is the brown tone; a very drab perhaps some gray in the brown; perhaps better to purchase light brown or red brown. Hard to know. The wig has a nice feel and a nice shine. I give up for awhile, perhaps I will try again one day, not sure.Potsue

The other companies say that the lighting makes the color look different, but the whole wig was not what I ordered. Your product is perfect. One of the wigs I bought last year shouldn't have passed the quality control inspector if you have one. The hair separated at the crown. I have brushed and teased but it never did perform as expected.JANET M.
I ordered this style in the color Kahula…It is a light/medium brown with blonde highlights. I had a hard time getting a picture that really captured the shape but it is pretty close to the model. The curls look really natural…like you have naturally curly hair and the style is a fun combination between tame and wild (if that makes sense!) I have probably 20+ wigs and wear them everyday…I got this one because it was totally different from any others I have. I work a very physically demanding job, so I wanted something that was cute but would not tangle or require me to mess with it during my shift. I did wear this out tonight for girls night out with my best friend…I can always count on her to tell me the truth about the basics – does it look natural, is it flattering, and most important, does it look "wiggy"…this one passed with flying colors! The other thing I like was the price…I typically only buy mono-top wigs because they look so natural, but with the curls, it isn't noticeable at all and it keeps the price down. I can definitely see myself buying this in another color!
