I have always worn a 27 piece in honey blonde or Platium champagne blonde. This fall November 2014 I decided not to wear a 27 peice and just let my hair grow especially on the sides because it seamed as if I was going bald on the sides and my hairdresser was Bald on the sides. This is the third time i am buying this wig! that tells you that it is a winner. The 3 times, I have gotten it in different colors and i have been very satisfied. Its full, very natural and people complement me and then i tell them its a wig and they go big eyed!! it sits very well, low maintenance, which is what I really like about it. Upon opening the package, this wig was an extremely dry matted mess of curls that were pressed into hard squared shapes. After gently finger picking and shaping it, the curls did not soften into a natural pattern at all. Instead, the wig just became a frizzy mess that looked extremely cheap, fake, and clownish. I cannot purchase clearance items any longer since every time I have, there has been something either wrong with the wig (manufacturing) or something I didn't like and there are no returns. There wasn't anything wrong with this piece. She just had way too much hair and the fibers were so dry they were like straw. It is a beautiful warm color but the density, the permatease and the dry fibers made this difficult to pull off. I thinned it out and tried to tame the permatease but it just didn't work. I got 22F16 there is not enough dimension for me but I do feel someone looking for a well made no permatese, low density piece would be very happy with it. I did have lots of thick hair & I like some poof on top.I was going to give it away but it is growing on me using dry shampoo,piece out & hair spray. Even tho it's symmetrical you can achieve a asymmetrical look with some tucking. I have noticed many reviews/comments on various pieces that I feel expectations are often unrealistic. Let's face it we all don't look like the beautiful ladies,Eileen,Marlen or Taz much less the models. I have found often if I think I don't like something if I change my makeup,color I'm wearing wait a few days,wear it around the house,often one I thought I would send back grows on me. I normally order these bulk once a year. Because online is always cheaper and I don't have to worry about driving store to store looking for it. Could not find this wig anywhere. Since December 2019 all stores have been sold out. Decided to try this shop. I'll admit I was extremely skeptical. Especially since I never did get an answer to an email I sent them. About the site: I dont think the color ‘swatches' are enough to determine color and they should provide actual full photos of each color. Or at least have a link to a universal color key. I had no idea what T4/27 even means. Can someone explain why don’t they they at least tell you what color the model has on in the photo? About the wig: I ordered several of these because I was unclear about the colors. The T4/27 is mostly a brassy gold / copper color, some dark undertones at the root, but not enough to blend with my dark brown natual hair. In general the curls were not as defined at the photo. It's a lot of hair and I had to shape mine to my face and cut it slightly. Not sure how long it will last (I suspect two weeks with daily wear) before I toss it. I buy synthetic units to quickly change color or to wear under hats.J C.

i was trying on the wig and something snagged my wig cap. i check and there is a piece of metal sticking out! it had broken through the material. i had to use pliers to get it out! after that no issues. it's a nice wig. super full and curly so i used rat tail comb to untangle the coils. I didnt like bang so i used a curling iron to curl it. i flattened down curls in top because it was looking a lil too 70s for me. ive washed twice already. back gets tangled of course, but it combs out and recurls nicely with medium heat. i recommend. it's worth it.La T.

This wig looks so natural on. I have been ordering this wig for over a year from a beauty supply store. The Beauty supply store charged me much more for the wig then I paid on the website here. I was very happy that the price was lower and that the quality of the week was the same. I will be ordering this wig from this website from now on as long as they have it in stock. I have wash this wig with a mild shampoo and I have use a flat iron on it at low temperature and also a curling iron at lower temperatures and the wig looks good!Donna T.

Well, I finally learned my lesson. I cannot purchase clearance items any longer since every time I have, there has been something either wrong with the wig (manufacturing) or something I didn't like and there are no returns. There wasn't anything wrong with this piece. She just had way too much hair and the fibers were so dry they were like straw. It is a beautiful warm color but the density, the permatease and the dry fibers made this difficult to pull off. I thinned it out and tried to tame the permatease but it just didn't work. Plus, the fibers were like doll hair and so that was a dead giveaway. This was the third JR piece and all have pretty dry fibers. Is this normal? I am a first time buyer, trying to figure out what fits and how to wear the wigs. I ordered 3 wigs in this first order, and two of them I can adjust and work with. But "Gwen" has very short hair and it looks nothing like the pictures! I had it on my head for a few seconds and couldn't stand the very short hair with no shape at all. It looked like a hedgehog, The color is nice, but this wig is too small, too short hair for my plus size figure: Gwen Wig by Jon Renau STRAWBERRY BLONDE AND WARM PLATINUM BLONDE BLENDED & TIPPED W STRAWBERRY BLONDE NAPE (27T613F). In all fairness, I only had it on my head a few seconds and took it off right away, I didn't try to make it look better, afraid to ruin the chance for return. It might be ok for someone else, but at 62 yrs old and plus size figure, that little wig was not even funny! I filled out the return label for "Gwen" but keeping the other two, with medium length hair: "Blushing Beauty" Wig by Gabor | Mono Part GL16/27 and the "Salsa" Wig by Raquel Welch | Large Cap R14/88H Golden Wheat. Those two are a bit large and I need to learn to adjust the tabs in the back, and I also need to figure out from the videos how to "style" them with my fingers so they look good for me. This is a cute summer wig for someone who doesn't want permatese. It's low density. I got 22F16 there is not enough dimension for me but I do feel someone looking for a well made no permatese, low density piece would be very happy with it. I did have lots of thick hair & I like some poof on top.I was going to give it away but it is growing on me using dry shampoo,piece out & hair spray. Even tho it's symmetrical you can achieve a asymmetrical look with some tucking. I have noticed many reviews/comments on various pieces that I feel expectations are often unrealistic. Let's face it we all don't look like the beautiful ladies,Eileen,Marlen or Taz much less the models. I have found often if I think I don't like something if I change my makeup,color I'm wearing wait a few days,wear it around the house,often one I thought I would send back grows on me. Also often they just need a bit of tweaking with a small trim here & there to make it my own. I imagine very few can just take most of them out of the box with INSTANT SUCCESS ! Even I expected it at 1st & being a Master Stylist (retired) should have known better. I guess what I'm trying to say to all those who are new like me is to be patient.S N.

Extremely poor. The wig didnt look nothing like or close to the model. I ordered the same color as the model and a brighter color. It was a waste of money. I didnt wana go through all of the hassle sending it back; because the merchant give you a hard time. So I threw the item in the trash.
