I absolutely adore this Gabor wig. I have chemical sensitivity and was almost certain I would not be able to wear a synthetic wig. I am overjoyed that it does not bother my skin !!! If I wasn’t experienced in wearing wigs, this would have been a really frustrating and disappointing purchase. As soon as I took the hair out of the box, the ends seemed really tough and frizzy, to the point where the comb gets stuck. Because the quality is so poor, I ensure extremely gentle combing but somehow one of the tracks has already broken within the first 1-2 weeks. The **** are that once you tint the lace/add makeup and cut your baby hairs, the hairline blends really week and looks realistic. If you’re more of an expert at tailoring your own wigs then this isn’t too bad, but you won’t be able to wear it for too long because of the quality. If it was cheaper like the original price in the US then I don’t think I would have minded as much.Danielle C.
I am obsessed with this wig! This was my 3rd time ordering, but my first time getting a wig installed for daily wear. When I tell you!!!! It doesn’t feel heavy on my head. It’s a tad tight, BUT I think that’s because I’m not use to wearing one daily, not because of the make of the unit. The color is EXACTLY what I expected and is a perfect summer blend I love that it is a side part too because I love doing a clipped back look behind my ear (will make it easier to wear my walkie at work) I thought it was gonna be too long but I actually love the length! Beautiful wig in GL14/22SS. This blonde shade is perfect for my natural brunette skin tone (light to medium neutral leaning toward warm). It's not too warm, nor is it too cool, and it doesn't wash me out. I discovered Gabor recently and love the hairline and softly shaded roots of the shaded shades. The hair is soft and fine. This is a cute, lightweight pixie. She's my first experience with a lace front wig, which I find to be a little scratchy but very realistic-looking. The wig has significant permatease, but I can very easily smooth her down somewhat using just my fingers – I imagine I could get her even flatter with a good styling creme. Alternatively, if you want to spike her up, she'll go pretty high with a good shake and some teasing. I also appreciate that the bangs aren't super-long and I don't need to trim them. Although I've never tried Raquel Welch's "Winner," Serving Style seems similar to the basic (non-Elite) version of that wig, with the addition of a lace front for off-the-face styling versatility. I purchased this wig in the honey pecan. I’m a natural dark brunette plus size 23 inch head and this average fit me just fine. The cap is comfortable, natural, soft, and has a nice stretch. Rooting and highlighting is very natural spot on. To keep it out of my eyes, I just use a little clip which makes it look even cuter to put it back. This is a great wig if you want hair to stay out of your face in the summer when it’s hot or while you are busy doing things. I haven’t tried the sweet talk luxury but this one feels so nice I wouldn’t even be inclined to try unless it’s just for fun. Perfect color if you’re a brunette and you want to start going lighter and have it look natural. Will put a review on YouTube under “it’s a wonderful wig” since I love this so much. Unfortunately, this keeps happening over and over. The Rene of Paris wigs I buy are usually on clearance and therefore I cannot return them. I have finally learned my lesson. It isn't the fault of Wigstudio1 – they are wonderful to do business with – it is the manufacturer. I am sure there are plenty of ROP's wigs that are nice but every one I have purchased, the fibers are are dry and feel like matted doll hair. Wyatt is no different. And it has an excessive amount of permatease. That said, I don't like permatease and so I typically go for those with very little so this particular wig seemed to have an excessive amount. I had a couple of other ROP wigs that didn't and others say that this didn't so maybe it was just this one piece. I tried washing it with Jone Renau shampoo and conditioner and used a conditioning spray and it just got even more dried out, matted and I could not tame the permatease. It looked like a big pink mushroom cloud on top of my head. All of this said, the color is beautiful. I do like the watermelon R and wish I could find something similar, but in another brand. Anyway, I am sorry to leave this review but I wanted others to know my experience. Of course it seems it worked out great for others so perhaps it was just my particular piece or my being finicky.erin
I debated this wig for a long time because in most media, the bangs seem wonky, and in some review videos, it seems kinda poofy in a dated way. I've become tired of buying wigs that require a bunch of work before I consider them ready to wear. Anyway… Right out of the box, I saw that, why yes, these bangs will need work, but overall the wig looked very promising, and marble-r is such a soft and very believable color. The cap is very well done and realistic. So, Angela has a side part, yet the bangs turn in toward it, instead of following the flow and direction of the side part. It just isn't how someone would do their hair. The hair has A LOT of return hair in it, especially the bangs, aka the worst place to have an abundance of it. Return hair are fibers that are shorter than the rest and they tend to stick out. I feel like Rene of Paris monotop wigs tend to have a lot of return hair. You can carefully steam them (or carefully use either a hot air brush, or even more carefully, a hair dryer with a concentrator nozzle–not recommended by manufacturers or retailers, but I do it out of sheer frustration. Those return hairs are stubborn.) I needed to trim the bangs. I steamed the bangs to improve the direction and return hairs. There's enough return hair throughout the body of the wig that it makes it look a little "ratty at the back", as my bff said. I want to take the time to tame the rest of the return hair, but I haven't yet. It's also a little tangly in general, but I'm trying to be careful with it and not brush it as much as I really want to… The monotop is not comfortable, but hopefully that's just this unit, and it improves with wearing and washing. It's a little tight on my average (but leaning toward large) head. The ear tabs sit on a good spot near my ears. It has wave but is not poofy. I like the length and shape of it, long, feminine, like I tried to look nice by giving my hair a once-over with a bigger-barreled curling iron. You could definitely wear this up or down, make it look more casual, or dressier. I only wish it had more color choices. The color options on this one are dismal. (You can see all the colors on the actual ROP site.) They came out with what looks like a related wig just now, and it's color choices are just as lacking. I don't know who is approving these color options, but they're apparently from the Henry Ford school of thought, "they can have any color they want as long as it's black." I would repurchase this wig but there's no other color that grabs me, so I'll say that if it ages nicely, so far I feel that I would buy another down the road when it's time to retire this one. If they had more color choices, I would buy another, and soon, to see if I like it as well as I do this one so far.Jay
I’ve been looking for a short pixie with a side swept bang, and—finally—this is it! What I like about Amara: 1) It’s very short at the nape. The hair barely touches my collar. 2) it’s a snug fit. When you bend your head forward, it doesn’t slide, flip up, or move off your neck at all. (I don’t worry about this wig at all when I’m sailing.) 3) Although it is a short wig, it still has that classic ROP profile with a tapered back and a little “poof” at the crown. 5) The bang. I love me a side swept bang! 6) The hair is nice and short around the ears. Usually I have to tuck the hair of every wig behind my ears, but not this one. 7) The color (Creamy Blond) is very neutral. I have cool undertones and look terrible in blonds that are yellow. This is definitely a platinum, but a slightly warm platinum—not white at all. Balanced. Neutral. What I don’t like about Amara: 1) Some of the layered hairs flip out a little in the back instead of laying straight with the rest. If I can’t tame them, I’m going to carefully clip them off. What some others might not like about Amara: 1) This style has a basic cap with perma-tease, no mono anything, and no lace front. It’s doesn’t have a ton of perma-tease but enough to keep the volume. Upon close inspection of the crown, your wig secret may be exposed. However, it’s no worse and probably better than most other wigs with basic caps. Personally, I like the volume from perma-tease and don’t give a hoot whether people know I wear wigs (all my friends know anyways). 2) The cap is tight! Probably not a good choice for a larger head. But, I like a tight cap. It’s not so tight that I get a headache. 3) Ear tabs are short. This wig won’t work if you need to cover a lot of bio- hair at your side burns. Overall, this is the wig I’ve been looking for and I’m happy with my purchase.Marie

I have bought Trendsetter in gradient charcoal for some years now and have 8 of them, having the best ones for special occasions, average for every day, and the other one for work. Now I have received the ninth one, and am SO disappointed. No longer does Trendsetter have flicked up waves, it is half the thickness that it was, and it is straight with no bounce. Has anyone else had this experience? I believe they are being made more cheaply, or have been taken over by an inferior company who have no idea what Trendsetter is supposed to be. I chose Glazed Vanilla and Silver Mist. The style is very flattering and super easy to wear. You just shake it out, put it on, comb the bangs into place a go! I love this wig. It looks so natural, and so comfortable on. This is the only one I ever wear. The first time I cut my hair short this was the style I had. So, when I started wearing this wig no one thought anything. They just thought I went back to my short style and love it. It is so easy to maintain. Like the straight look in front, like the layering in back; however, at the very bottom in back, the synthetic fibers or strands should have a curl and not straight effect. After wearing during the day, when look at the bottom, the strands are sticking out and have a messy look. Having hairdresser to try to correct problem in back on bottom.
The wig length and fullness were not well suited for me. The synthetic hair seemed both shorter and less thick than described, especially in the crown area where really needed to make the wig look more like site images and product description. The color was nice, and as expected. The cap fit, but barely. It was difficult to align the sides/ear tabs well enough to allow a fit good enough to make it look more like my natural hair than a wig. I like this wig however sometimes the cap is too small. The two I bought last month fit perfectly. One of the wigs I bought last year shouldn't have passed the quality control inspector if you have one. The hair separated at the crown. I ordered this style in the color Kahula…It is a light/medium brown with blonde highlights. I had a hard time getting a picture that really captured the shape but it is pretty close to the model. The curls look really natural…like you have naturally curly hair and the style is a fun combination between tame and wild (if that makes sense!) I have probably 20+ wigs and wear them everyday…I got this one because it was totally different from any others I have. I work a very physically demanding job, so I wanted something that was cute but would not tangle or require me to mess with it during my shift. I did wear this out tonight for girls night out with my best friend…I can always count on her to tell me the truth about the basics – does it look natural, is it flattering, and most important, does it look "wiggy"…this one passed with flying colors! I was looking for a unit that would go with my overall Thanksgiving look and when I saw this unit in the Chocolate/Caramel color, I knew it had to be mine. I have been waiting for months for the Bennett to go on sale. Finally was able to get the color I wanted 8FS28 which is shown on the model. This is the first time for getting such an expensive wig and it's worth it. Completely handmade cap such as what you would see on JR human hair wigs. Unbelievable cap with soft healthy looking hair – looks so natural. So beautiful and well worth the money even with the Canadian customs tax to be paid. It is not really thick so as to be phony but is just right. Packaged with care which I appreciate as if they also appreciate the quality. If you can spring for the cost, you will be extremely pleased. Don't know if this quality and look can be surpassed by any other. Well worth the wait and am so very happy. Thank you Vogue Wigs. I am so happy with this wig I think it's absolutely worth every penny! It's comfortable, soft, and it feels and looks very natural. When I started my chemo I bought a very expensive, human hair, skin top wig and I was devastated. The hair was soft but the wig was uncomfortable, heavy, I felt I couldn't move and overall it was obvious I was wearing a wig ,a sad wig which wouldn't let me forget for one second that I was sick. Wen I got my Tony of Beverly I could not believe it! It fits perfectly, it looks so much more natural, it is light, it moves, I forget I have it on, I want to sleep with it! And I tried other synthetic wigs in very good wig stores in New York but no other feels and looks so natural and comfortable. I bought this wig because as I got older I found my frizzy, unruly hair more and more difficult to manage. With arthritis straightening my hair was a big job. How fantastic it is to be able to put this gorgeous wig on. It is practically completely hand tied, so looks so natural-it is the hair I would have if I could straighten my hair everyday. The colour is also very natural, I just wish it was done in human hair and without bangs – but when was life ever perfect! This is about as good as it gets with a synthetic wig (OK it is a bit shiny) but this degree of hand tied cap doesn't come along often enough on synthetics. I wish other wig makers would take notice and give us a few more because at the moment I don't find myself spoilt for choice, as I am truly fed up of cheap looking weft wigs. I used to love Forever Young wigs. They were practically the only wig I wore. And I wear them full time so I know my stuff. When I opened this box, I could not believe it. Thin, rough, hair that looks like a rats nest. And the length on these is absolutely inaccurate. I have no idea what happened to Forever Young, but this is the second disaster of a wig that I have purchased from them. Lesson learned. Something happened and they have lost their quality. Check the dates on the positive reviews here and you'll see that they are all several years old. Then there's Vouge Wigs return policy. By the time I make this return, I would have spent fully half of what I paid for them on shipping, charges and random fees. Go take a thorough look at their return policy. It's a mess, and the customer gets screwed. So goodbye Forever Young and Vogue Wigs. I miss your former quality.Holly
I bought this wig a long time ago and it sat in the box for a while. Finally pulled it out because my other curly wigs were just too hot this summer, and so glad I did. I get compliments all the time from people who have no idea it's a wig. I love seeing their shocked faces when I tell them. Anyway, the only reason it sat is bcs it's a bit shorter than I would like. I wish FY would make the exact same wig 2 inches longer. The curl is absolutely beautiful and matches my bio-hair curl. Very soft texture and good quality, no shedding. Holds curl without product so it stays soft and dry. No crunchy wet look. You can't beat this wig and definitely get more than you paid for. I trimmed the bangs a good 1/2 inch and that was it. I’m very happy with this wig considering how inexpensive it is. The cap is comfortable and fit my larger head with no issues. I do wish it had clips, but I can add those on my own. The curls are glamorous without looking too overdone, and the bangs help the wig look more natural by covering the hairline. The hair is extremely shiny so I added some dry shampoo powder. I ordered the Honey Blonde which was actually more of a orange with blonde highlights, but it is still attractive.Haley

I wore everyday for a couple of weeks when I first got it. Then, one day opened the oven door after pre-heating to 425 degrees and fried the front of the wig. I know better than to do this, but it just slipped my mind. I immediately ordered a replacement. It arrived in about 4 days and I have been enjoying ever since. No more cooking for me!! I ordered the wig in the color of my hair and also have the hair stocking about the same color. The hair is thin and the wefting might show thru if you are trying a color that isn't a close match. Otherwise, it is my new favorite!!
Have been wearing this wig for at least 8 yrs…and have tried many other styles, but this I’s my favorite and I keep returning. Have ordered MANY of this particular wig, and will continue. Am concerned though, that the colors are being clearanced….and hope this doesn’t mean that the style is on it’s way out. Would love to see this style in a lace front, and/or without the darker color in the back. I think many more customers would buy it.Sharri S.

Then I had purchased 2 more when I was concerned the others were wearing out. I thought they were horrible. Not as much hair on one side, colour was not what I had gotten before though the same number and I was planning on returning them but felt the shipping to return plus the shipping and duty I had already paid was not worth it so decided to donate to a women's group. Later I took another chance after complaining to this site and once again they were definitely not up to the standard of the original wigs. It seems to me the quality control was very poor and that because I didn't like them found myself wearing the old ones though they were showing their age. I needed shampoo and conditioner so thought I'd try one final time. Well these were better than the last four that were terrible but still not anywhere near the same standard as the originals. I can't believe that it's the same company creating them as the hair is so much faker than the originals I would love to purchase the ones I had bought the first while but while these I will have to wear when the old ones are simply worn out but will be searching for another site that possibly has this wig

When I first received the wig I was worried that it would be too thin. But, when I am wearing it, I find that the lower density looks extremely natural and more realistic than the overly thick human hair wigs I have had in the past. The hair is very smooth and you can run your fingers right through it. I had the Kim by Jon Reneau which has extremely sick denier. I have this bravo wig in the color R 11 S. It looks extremely realistic as though my hair had been professionally highlighted. I also find the lace front to be the best I have ever worn. The netting is so fine that I truly can barely see it. This is the first wig I have on where I do not feel the need to cut the lace. Although some may not like the thin density for the shorter length, I find it perfect for every day wear. I was looking for a wig that was short enough to be comfortably worn every day easy to tuck behind the ears, yet long enough to be pulled back out of my face. Also I would like to add that this week does not shed at all so I am expecting it to last quite a while.I gave this four stars only because I do wish there was slightly more hair in the lower back region of the cap.Patricia D.
I‘m a huge Raquel Welch wigs fan, it’s my favorite brand. And I had my eyes on this style for a while and think the stock photo looks fabulous. But it’s my first and last style in regular synthetic. I love the True2Life HD fibers by Raquel Welch, they look and feel like human hair. But these are just extremely shiny and it has a lot of hair! The color Glazed Sand is really nice and the lace front on this style is impeccable, and as this was my first unrooted color, it’s even better and more undetectable than the rooted colors. The most natural looking wig I have ever purchased. A friend who knows I wear wigs, asked if she was seeing my bio hair. I was wearing hand tied Center Stage with the lovely lace front when she sat across from me at a restaurant that day. Nothing more needs to be written to explain the 5 stars. Center Stage has the most natural looking 'part' and believable density. I currently have this in 2 different but similar colors. I am shocked to see negative reviews. Folly was one of my first wigs. When I first started, it seemed like so much hair because I was used to having such fine thin hair, and I did thin it a little. I now wish that I had not, because I went a little too far in one spot. After trying out many more wigs, and owning several different styles, I realize now that this is a low density wig. The best part is that even though it is low density, it really covers all of the wefts, and I never have to worry about wefts showing, even during windy conditions. I have done waterparks with this one, and it is perfect even drenched. The only downside I can give this affordable wig is that there is no way to wear the hair without bangs. It is tough to even push them to the side and have it look normal. The way it is sewn into the front only allows for pretty much straight down bangs. Also, note that there are no monofillament features in this wig at all. There is permatease to cover the wefts on the top, but it is not poofy at all. You just need to get creative in how you part it.brahm
I have alopecia and have been wearing wigs for 10 yrs. I was looking for the shorter bob that Folly is. When I received it I was happy with the color and style and even initial appearance but at closer inspection I noticed that the hair barely covers the wefting in the back. If the wind blows anyone can see you right thru to your scalp or hair. Also the crown where the hair comes out of looks very poor and you can see thru that also. It's a shame because the style is very cute. I will now have to keep it just to wear in the house, because of the sparse hair it is cool and light. This wig was perfect as far as size and I am a petite. The color is great although the roots are a tiny bit darker than I wanted but it's very well made and overall color is what I expected. The style and shape are super natural and at my age late 60's, I feel that it works without looking too young for me. The hairline is great and looks very natural.
