An 18th century styled wig in white with an attached tie on the back. great to use for george washington, thomas jefferson, alexander hamilton and other founding fathers. complete your patriotic costume with this wig! wig styling tips do not use heated styling tools as this will damage synthetic fiber. cool temperature styling tools, plastic curlers, and hair spray are recommended. remove wig from packaging and also remove hair net. for loose, curly and wavy wigs, it is suggested that you hold wig upside down by the cap and shape to loosen and layer the fibers. this will also add fullness to your wig. add hair spray to hold if desired. this is not recommended for wigs that are pinned or tightly styled. remove tangles with your fingers and gentle brush your wig. the only exception is wigs that are very curly – don't attempt to brush them. if your wig if frizzy or has static cling you can use a dryer sheet to smooth down the fly away hairs. care instruction fill a basin with a mix of cool water (hot water can damage can damage your wig) and mild shampoo. leave wig to soak for 5 minutes. swirl your wig around in the water, but don't rub the fibers. rinse your wig under cool running water. shake excess water off your wig and spread on a towel to dry. alternatively, you can put it on a wig stand to air dry. brush your wig when it is completely dry and it is ready to wear again.

We quickly learned to wear gloves when handling these wigs to avoid undoing the curls. They were too small to cover a grown person's head (I can easily wear child sized hats, and this did not fit me). Good news first is that this is a beautiful costume. Bad news is that it doesn’t arrive to your door looking anything like these pictures. This almost $200 costume is literally stuffed into a box. No bag, no plastic to protect it. Stuffed so tight that the box was bulging out and the wig box was pretty smashed up. Thankfully the wig survived. Due to all of that stuffing, the tentacles are misshaped and try as I might I could not get them into the right shape. It’s really sad that a “prestige” costume is shipped like this. As for sizing, I’m typically a large/14. I’m busty so I ordered the Xl. It was too big both in the bust and the waist. I ordered the large and although technically it fit, it still didn’t really fit. The top was tight enough when I zipped it up but the bodice would not stay up, it kept flipping down. The waist although not tight, the snaps would not stay snapped. The sizing just isn’t true to size or it’s just not made well. Probably both. It’s such a disappointment because the costume really could be awesome. My suggestion is that they sew the tentacles into the position they should be in and ship it so it lays flat.Gina

The size suggestions put me in a large instead of my normal medium but upon receiving it the large is a true large and I needed a medium. The exchange program is horrible and I didn't get my new costume in time. I would go off of your normal size and not the size chart.Anonymous

Absolutely stunning! I purchased a large and it fits well. The tentacles are pretty heavy, but they don't have a problem staying up. The skirt is very long and sweeps the floor. This won't be a problem for me, but may be for someone that is shorter. Overall, I love it. Great addition to my Halloween wardrobe.Rae
