So, I anticipated that it wasn’t going to “fix” his tooth but, since I bought it I thought it’s not going to hurt to try it. It stayed for about a day. He had to get the roots removed by his dentist the following week. Saying this, if a crown has came off, then I think it’s definitely worth trying. I bought this because my rear top molar had cracked vertically and broken off on the outer side and also part of the underside (biting side) that was filled is missing. I've had to persevere as there is no end in sight to being able to get a dentist appointment – nearly 2 weeks now – I replace it twice a day – after morning and evening teeth cleaning and no eating for more than 4 hours. It regularly breaks off and I'm left having to remove chunks of the material from my mouth – not very hygienic or pleasant! The ONLY two things I love about this conditioner are the scent and softness of how my hair becomes after. That’s why I only gave it 2 stars. If you have carpal tunnel or arthritis, skip this product and go for something else. This bottle was horribly invented for this amazing conditioner. This is such a unique leave in conditioner. It is one of the few that actually leaves my high porosity hair feeling soft and moisturized for days without weighing it down. It is a thick, honey-like consistency but it doesn't just sit on top of the hair like I expected it to. I use it to refresh my minitwists throughout the week and I just seal it in with any cream product and it works really well. My only complaint is that I don't care for the smell, which is kind of like honey. It would've been nice to have a fragrance, but I understand why they didn't add one. I’ve been using Dark and Lovely for as long as I can remember. The product isn’t what it used to be. The relaxer is not as effective and the new treatments do not measure up to the 5 gloss satin oil treatments and products. The company keeps reiterating that the formula has not changed just the packing. I do not see how that can be true when different oils etc have been added. A tried and true relaxer system has been ruined. And are mild kits no longer available?Disappointing
I've used the Dark & Lovely relaxer for years. I detest going to the hair dresser/hair salon, so I learned to relax my hair at home. I used this new formula for the first time one week ago. I immediately noticed a difference in the "feel" of my hair. This new 6-step process is easy on my hair. My only objection… WHERE are the after-relaxer products? How do you sell a relaxer and not the products needed to compliment the process, i.e., the Recovery Shine Cream? Much to my chagrin after much searching, it was disappointing to find out that the Dark and Lovely Healthy-Gloss 5 w/Satin Oil Moisture Hair Creme has been discontinued. And apparently, the newer Recovery Shine Cream 6 w/Coconut Oil is only available in the relaxer kit? Does that make sense? Such oversight will cost this company customers.Vick

I bought this KISS Gel at another store but when doing a search about it, my Target app popped up. So, I'm adding this review. I don't have thick edges. I do have 4BC hair & nothing in YEARS held them down longer than 2 hours. KISS Max Hold gel slicked my hair in place b4 I could get my brush! It's been 26 hours, shower, sleep, bit of sweat & they still look good. Edges looked GREAT the first 12 hours. Sweet Peach scent is nice & noticeable but thankfully goes away after a couple hours.Dawn

I love that this came with the whole set and everything you need to get the perfect edges. It comes with 3 different glues in cherry,watermelon and grape scent . It smells amazing. It also comes with a nice brush with fine edge combs and spatula and edge strips. It works amazing and holds my hair in place . I use it on my edges and also on my baby hairs . I actually love using this for my brow hairs to get the feather laminated brow. It does not leave a white residue or flakes like some other brow gels I have tried. This product is so affordable and a little goes a long way. i love this! i have fine 2a hair and bought this to define my waves and condition my dry hair at the same time. i use this on wet/damp hair as a gel and on dry hair to revive my waves and lock my style in place before braiding my hair. it doesn’t leave any crunchiness or residue and it doesn’t weigh my hair down in any way. i think this is a great versatile product that can work on any hair type, although i would be cautious if you have hair that’s prone to being over moisturized because the ingredients are very nourishing. also – i absolutely love the scent! i know all camille rose products come with heavy fragrance and while that may not be some people’s thing, it’s a huge plus for me. i love sweet gourmand fragrances and this is no exception. i anticipate this jar lasting me a very long time but i will definitely repurchase when the time comes!z
So thin curls beware that this is def a heavier product.. but ooweeee i def see a difference when using this! Less hair breakage, more conditioning & actually long lasting curl hold! I mostly do wash n gos so idk how it is for twist outs. Im actually kinda scared because it can weigh my hair down. Another con is that while it does define curls, it will kind of seal it so my thin curls will almost look stringy & see through because its almost like a gel.. if that makes sense. If you have thinner curls i feel like you get me! But i believe this is my 2nd or 3rd purchase of this but it honestly will be my last bcus of the cons. Im more looking for volumizing products that give me the hydration, anti breakage & longevity that this gives! But for thicker hair?? You guys will LOOVEEEE this! Might even be a 1 and done product for thick hair!! Im giving 4 stars because it really has great benefits! but for thinner hair you'd def have to just work with it & around it sparingly & for specific looks/desires. I have only used it once so far but I did enjoy using it in conjunction with the Camille Rose Coconut Water Leave in. I let the leave in sink into my hair and just wet it the next day before applying this cream. I think you could use it on the same day you wash but have not tried this way yet as I was looking for a more elongated style and wanted my hair to stretch out more and be more on the damp side when twisting. I would follow the directions though and use on wet or damp to wet hair than on dry hair. I was looking for something to twist my hair and keep it moisturized and more clumped together so it could maintain moisture under my protective styles and was pleased with how long the moisture lasted in my hair and how it helped to reduce frizz. I did undo the twists to see it it would have a lasting hold and I was satisfied. I would like to, down the line, do a twist out with the product for a longer period and see how long the definition would last but the moisture lasted me about 3 days before I felt the need to re moisturize it, not to be confused with washing it over again, but scrunching in a moisturizer to keep my hair from getting dry. I do think using a butter on top would further help maintain moisture like the Camille Rose Brown Butter Melt or to help further control frizz, especially if it's humid, but great moisture and hold for my 4B/4C high porosity coils that honestly need a lot of moisture to keep my coil definition and more importantly moisture in my hair. Really worth the money to me and the best twisting butter I have tried.Faith

After just one use, this product has become a staple in my weekly wash routine. I used it as a deep conditioner, leaving it in for 3.5 hours under a plastic cap following my protein treatment. Following wash out, my hair was shiny and soft with a revived curl pattern screaming YASSSS! My hair is far from damaged but craves moisture and this definitely satisfies and more. I love how the product smells, fresh with a mild fragrant scent. The cream is thick and silky itself and does not require much product use to provide coverage to your hair. With conditioners, I usually use a third to half a container ensuring my hair is fully saturated and coated. With this hair masque I barely went pass the rim where the cap screws on, for me that’s insane! The slippage is incredible and it’s perfect for detangling after only a few minutes in the hair. At 17.99 and needing to use less, this product is definitely worth its price. I was fortunate to cop it at 30% off and purchased a few more containers shipped along with a couple other products from the Repairx line.
I used to have amazing, curly/wavy hair without trying at all. Like, shampoo, and sometimes condition every few days and BAM – perfect hair. However, when I went on the pill my hair was suddenly limp and sad. No curl, no wave, no volume, nothing. I tried the curly girl method for over a year and it seemed to make matters worse. After a year of locs- I combed them out. Usually I see a lot of product build up when I take out my locs, however after exclusively using this for a year, there wasn't much at all. I was a bit skeptical because i saw a lot of people with much more textured and thick hair saying that it didn’t work well for them for one reason or another. I have 2B hair that has suffered a lot of damage due to using heat & breakage from brushing with the wrong brush. Anyway i love the rosemary and mint oil from this company so i went ahead and got this product. my hair loves it, it leaves my hair looking really shiny and healthy even after straightening. (hair is straightened in photo) my hair looks soooo silky when i dont use heat and let it air dry with this product. My hair doesnt clump up either with this stuff either. In the past ive used other products that clump my hair up and make it all crunchy but not this stuff. The smell is immaculate too!!!! Very badly packaged! Purchased this product with ten other products when everything was $6.99 (I believe it was a Black Friday special). EVERYTHING was damaged!! All ten of the products were thrown in a box with nothing securing them! Well, you can imagine what happened when going through the shipping process. a couple of the products were bursted open which caused all of the products to be greasy and sticky when they arrived to me. Extremely messy! I was highly disappointed but didn’t want to go through the trouble or sending them back. I just use what’s left in the containers after the spillage.smh… I would love to give this product five stars, but after I received my package with ten products just thrown in one box with no wrapping to protect the items, that’s hard to do. I really love the scent! So sweet with a hint of fruit but not overpowering. I have 3B curly hair and use it for CGM (curly girl method) styling. The product is nice to use on wet hair, makes it softer and easier to manage, it's also good to refresh your curls the next day after washing your hair (I make my hair slightly wet, and use it). I recommend applying some styling gel on top. Never made my hair greasy. As you only need a small amount, this bottle will last for a long time, years, if your hair is short or medium length. *I received these products for free from Influenster and Carol's Daughter in exchange for my honest review, and WOW this product is GREAT! It smells SO GOOD, and is very easy to spread throughout the hair. It has protein in it which allows your hair to build up strength. This is amazing considering I have lifeless bleached natural hair that soaks up a lot of water and products but still ends up dry and breaking. Another thing I LOVE about this product is that it is free of coconut derivatives which is AMAZING because I have a coconut allergy and finding anything without coconut is almost nonexistent. This mask is really good, and I definitely recommend it. I’m not sure how often I will use it because it is a protein treatment and you have to be careful with those so that you don’t have protein overload and have the opposite affect of what you want. But, I will use this when I need a protein treatment to help my hair feel healthier and build strength against things like sun damage, heat damage, and overall just lack of care. Overall, even though I received this for my review, I plan on purchasing this product forever as well as the rest of the Goddess Strength line. I listed the ingredients below for reference as to why I don’t like this product and refused to put this in my hair. All of the beneficial ingredients are soo far down on the ingredient list. I love hair mask for my curly hair type (3c – 4a). I used many hair mask before where I fell I love with how soft and hydrated my hair felt and it can down to the ingredients and formulation of the products. This hair mask contains preservatives, silicone, alcohol and fragrance which are are drying and not very beneficial to hair at all. For curly hair types it’s highly important to keep it hydrated and this will not do that. I’ve also read up on review how there was residue left over and flaking from this product. I will refused to used this solely based off the ingredients and not wanting to risk drying out my hair. This product should be discontinued by the smell alone. The product itself seems to he ok for hair. The one and only time I used it, it did make my hair feel a lot more moisturized. But the smell…TERRIBLE!! It smelled so bad but despite the smell, I still tried it in hopes that it would go away. Well this made me sick. Trigggered migraines that lasted days. Worst of all, several washes later, the horrible smell would not go away. Based on description, reduces frizz and flyaways which I’m not sure why any product would want to reduce frizz or flyaways. I say that because that’s the point have natural hair to be free. And, unless you’re trying to control frizz and flyaways in a protective style then yes I can see why. I am a wash and go for a year and don’t mind the frizz and flyaways. The product smells really good thought!!! Even after hair dry, the product can be smelled days after without using any of the other MO products to keep hair moisturized. Based on the 8 fl oz jar🏺I got 2 uses wash/go uses and a little left for a 3rd. I have very dense hair which (when I say dense I mean that you have find my scalp lol) means this size jar is not really enough for my hair. I did not get a tingling feeling using this product and may be that didn’t leave on the required 15-30 minutes. I still would buy this product because my hair shine and for a conditioner to give shine that’s good. Anywho that’s my opinion on MO Babassu Oil & Mint Deep Conditioner. This deep conditioner gives a cool tingling feeling all over the scalp that feels so good and refreshing and not too overpowering for me. It’s not incredibly thick but I didn’t feel like I needed to use a bunch on my hair although my hair is on the finer side. It’s only 8 oz so I’m interested to see how long it will last me. I put it on my hair and put i plastic cap while I finished taking a shower. The smell is also super intense and filled up the whole bathroom and when hitting the steam. I’ve have now used this styling gel for 3 separate wash n go combinations and I LOVE it. It’s not tacky/sticky and gives moisture, deep definition, and HOLD! For Type 4 curl girls, using this gel in combo with the Pom and honey coiling custard is a dynamic duo! I’ve been looking for a solid gel from Mielle for my hair type and this one takes the cake! Here lately I’ve had an issue with flaking when using my wetline xtreme gel for hold. This gel has replaced that one in my routine as I’ve had NO FLAKING when used with the custard or other clear/light-color styling products. I have tried a few products for my hair including shampoo, conditioner, leave-in conditioners, and co-washes but none of them did the job like the pomegranate and honey products. I recently asked my aunt to purchase the pomegranate and honey shampoo, conditioner, leave-in conditioner, honey coil sculpting custard, and the co-wash, and my mom and I are obsessed. The shampoo and conditioner made my hair look and feel healthy and it moisturized and cleaned my hair thoroughly. After coming out of the shower my hair was detangled and healthy. My mom used the leave-in conditioner on my hair before twisting it and she used the honey coil sculpting custard and 2 other products to twist my hair. Frizzyness used to be very visible in my hair but now it barely showed. These products were overall worth the $65 spent and when it runs out I will most definitely purchase them again.
I am a fairly loyal user of As I Am curl jelly, but my local Sally was out of stock. I was reluctant to use the Mielle line as I had tried the original line of Mielle curl products in the past and it wasn’t enough moisture, weight, etc to nourish and define my curls. I have type 3C/4A THICK curls so I need moisture and weight for my curls to pop. After reading the label about the pomegranate and honey line being for type 4 hair, I decided to give it a try. Well…baybeeee! I could not believe the softness and definition!! I’m talking THE BOMB! I’m so glad I gave it a try. I’m a new fan and will definitely buy it again.

I purchased a large amount of products hoping I would have found the the Holy grail for my 4c hair. I bought the entire line and only used the products from the line for my wash day and to moisturize and twist my hair. I’m always looking for volume and bought the deluxe trial size to give it a go. This gets rave reviews, but I wasn’t impressed. It’s a foam product that is applied to damp hair at the roots. It requires a lot of babysitting, whether you blow dry (I do not, unless it’s absolutely necessary for a quick look) or air dry. A lot of brushing is required and I just didn’t get results. I do not recommend and I’m glad I got the small size.candy.a
It gave my hair noticeable volume doesn’t have a super strong scent, but I had to return. It left my color treated hair feeling very dry brittle. Maybe I was using too much, but I’ve used Color WOW’s volumizing mousse with the same amount that made my hair soft. This one would also get my hair stuck in my round brush when blow drying left my hair very frizzy due to the grit it gives your hair. If you’re okay with that then this product is great for volume, but I’m not a fan of my hair feeling dry frizzycallie.h
This is my favorite hair product when I go out or the weather is just not cooperating with my hair. I have very thin and fine plus straight flat hair that is very hard to give any volume. Most products have to keep being sprayed or applied over and over again and then my hair has a sticky residue weighed down by the product. I only use this once or twice on a very important evening so it last a long time and you always get your moneys worth. I highly suggest this product if you have stubborn straight flat hair like me. I love this this product! Finally something that does NOT make my hair more frizzy, crunchy, dry or greasy. I have fine to medium curly long hair, I am of Eastern European descent. I just use a very small amount like directions advised, worked it into my wet hair, scrunched it with my hands and let air dry. My hair is sooo soft, no frizz and my curls are defined. I have been searching for a natural product without chemicals that actually works. I love it! It also has a tropical fragrance that is not overwhelming and smells so good! The cream is thick and I am going to also try it as a mask on my hair to hydrate it. Also it feels good to support this family business.Lizzie
I found this product yearssss ago when I first started the Curly Girl Method. It was very runny, white and much lighter. I ended up repurchasing it and when I opened it, it is incredibly yellow and thick and the ingredient list is completely different. I don't use it everyday to care but in general, Shea Moisture was my Go To absolutely favorite brand and I used their shampoo and conditioner for about 8 years- but I noticed it a couple of months ago stripped my hair and caused an insane amount of frizz. What a shame. I will never buy another Shea Moisture product. They used to have amazing ingredients, now they have all weird chemicals and the smells changed badly. I have been using the Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie every day for the last month. I love how thick & creamy the product is, & even with my very thick & very long hair I found that I didn’t need a lot of product to cover all my hair. This product didn’t weigh my hair down, didn’t leave any weight residue, and helped with the frizz ones. I loved that I could wet my hair a bit & it would look refreshed. I used it on wet hair & dry hair & was pleased with the results both ways. Another thing I really like about Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie is that it contains no silicones, parabens, no phathalates, no petrolatum & no mineral oil.
