I have always struggled with ways to keep my hair in a bun b/c my hair is long, coarse/thick, and super straight (Asian hair). Scrunchies and every hair tie you can imagine never worked to hold my heavy, thick hair up. These spin pins WORK! No joke! I saw other reviews about the ends being uneven (pointy, knobby, etc.) but mine were perfect. They did not hurt when they were inserted or removed. They were stiff and solid, so they didnt bend or get out of shape when I used them (which is what happened a lot with bobby pins and other straight pins). My New Years resolution this year was to up my hair game. I have no time and zero hair styling ability.The last ten years of my life have barely included a hairbrush #pnwstyle #momlife. Think caught in a howling rainstorm, that's pretty much my signature hairstyle. Anyway, my quest took me to YouTube for some quick and easy hair styling tips. These bobby pins have been exactly what I needed to accomplish a "more put together" look. They blend in with my ultra light, blond hair, hold my very thin, fine, hair in place, all day, and don't bend out of shape easily. I'm an elementary school teacher. So, I needed something that would stay put no matter what the day would bring. Before buying these I tried out some cheap, dollar store, bobby pins. They were so flimsy that some of them stretched out and fell out before I left the house in the morning. I'm very happy with these bobby pins. They've helped me keep one of my resolutions. I have really long, fine, thin hair. I usually wear my hair up in a bun, but when it's down, I mostly pin it out of my face. I normally have to use 4 pins on each side as the Bobby pins I usually use slip right out and don't hold my hair into place. I bought these Bobby pins in a hurry for a wedding and figured they probably wouldn't work, but boy was I surprised. I curled my hair and used 2 on each side, my hair did not move all night. I love the color. However, they are the tightest bobby pins I have ever used. Since this is a review, I'll be honest, the pins are almost useless. They are so tight they were hard to put in my hair. In addition, the pins are difficult to reposition, and pulled my hair when I took them out. If you are looking for blond bobby pins, find another brand.Rebecca

I am so disappointed that Bobby Pins no longer have bulb at ends of both tips now. The ones you make now hurt scalp when inserted and get tangled in hair when I try to remove them. I hope you go back to making them with large bulb on both ends. I have been searching everywhere and cant find any like the old ones I have. I wouldn't mind if they cost a little more. Please give us a choice. I cannot use the ones I see in stores now so won't be buying any more unless both tips have large bulb at BOTH ends like the ones you have pictured on this website.Dette

These are great Bobby pins that I highly recommend! I have blonde hair and these blend in perfectly with my hair.
