This kit is a must, especially the wig comb, no matter what brand of wig you have. I love the Jon Renau wig-care products! They have a great-smelling shampoo, a very effective wig conditioner and wig detangler. The wig comb helps protect your wig from damage as you comb and style your wig, and paired with the detangler, this works so well at increasing the longevity of your wig. Highly recommend their wig-care line. Regular brushes can be very damaging to wigs, so I urge any wig-wearer to purchase the Jon Renau Wig Comb. Receiving this product around the same time I just brought a wig which was perfect. After I wash the wig I sprayed the wig not reading the directions before hand that a little goes a long way, since I sprayed too much and had to rewash it because it was too oily. After I installed the wig I use the product to keep the hair looking shiny. But the wig seem kinda worn out even tho I only had it in for a few days and only using the spray at night. I’ve been wearing wigs for the past two months. Where has this product been all my life? First, I used this product on my synthetic barrel curls wig. A couple of sprays and you have a new wig! No more throwing out synthetic wigs after the life time for use runs out. The big barrel curls moved bk in place with no need for me to recurl. I just spray, fluff, and go. My long human hair curly wig held up well when this product was applied before I went out in Florida’s humility and rain. For the first time I didn’t look like a Chia Pet. I used this product a couple of times for wigs but I didn't really like the after fact if it . When I used this product against my wigs it made it look synthetic . I've used this product for several years, and like it a lot. The wig shop where I bought my wig recommended it to me, and I purchased my first bottle with the wig. Since then, I've had no reason to switch brands. It seems like a small bottle (8oz), but you only use a small amount in a sink full of water so a bottle lasts a long time. (I probably average 6 months per bottle, but your mileage will vary with the length of your wig, and how often you shampoo it). My wig is synthetic BTW. This is the first time I’ve ever written a review! I’ve had this product now for about 2 week or so and I needed something to help moisturize my senegalese twists during this pandemic. This product exceeded my expectations! It’s not too thick but not watery either. It’s a perfect consistency and the spray bottle spritz out nice and even (I’ve had some that broke or was messy and leaked so this was a plus for me!) The product does keep my hair moisturize for a few days too and doesn’t leave it dry or brittle. It makes my hair feel so soft & revived!! My Routine: 1. Spray with plain water first 2. Spray in the leave-in-conditioner (scalp & hair strands twists) 3. Oil/Grease my scalp and my hair strands of the twist I don’t spray in the leave in conditioner everyday. The smell is okay in my opinion. It’s not strong or overbearing; it’s definitely more of a natural scent of the bamboo than I can smell of the coconut (love coconut). But, that’s just my opinion. True test is when I take my twists down and see how my natural hair will be but for now I’m really satisfied. I would repurchase this again. I did my research before purchasing and I’m happy I came across this product and it wasn’t a fail! The shipping cost, ugh, I think we can all agree we hate. I ended up paying about $17 so keep that in mind for your purchase. It took about a week to arrive instead of the 3 days but again we’re in middle of pandemic so it’s a reasonable pass. I'm always looking to try a new product, see what my hair likes and what it doesn't. I tried the apple leave in conditioner first and didn't think I'd find anything better. Then I tried this one and this just might be that one to beat out the apple and aloe leave in. I keep my hair in twists, so I've been looking for a leave in that's light and liquid enough to spray on my twists to keep them hydrated (trying to work in the standard creams just creates frizz and I end up having to retwist everything). This past wash day, I sprayed my hair with it but didn't retwist my hair right away. That was 2 days ago. I started retwisting my hair tonight and it was still soft! No knots! I've always wanted to try Olaplex but just thought it couldn't make that much of a difference. This year I thought this gift set was a good deal and I had a gift set so I purchased it. I used the 0 and 3 then got in the shower and I could instantly tell a difference after using 4 the shampoo. I also used 5 the conditioner. I wrapped my hair in my hair towel after I got out then used my T3 airebrush duo (also a new love that styles my long hair in 5 mins). My hair hasn't felt this clean and soft in such a long time. Even 3 days later it feels just as amazing. I was using Foxybae and Lange before and they are nowhere near as good as this. Definitely worth the high price tag and it doesn't take a lot of product. The only con is the nozzle on the 0. I don't like how it comes out in an aggressive way and I feel like some gets wasted. I bought this because I already use #3 religiously and have been meaning to try #0. Of course, #3 is a HG, best thing ever for bleached hair. The #0 however was a disappointment – I didnt notice it enhancing results at all. The sprayer is also REALLY bad – it doesnt spray but rather squirts, so you end up losing a a lot of product. The big surprise for me was the shampoo. I have thick hair and I lot of it and I have to use a ton of shampoo and shampoo twice. This shampoo is small but mighty – you need only the tiniest amount and it lathers SO well! Never experienced anything like it! No matter how little I pour it is still too much! Therefore the price per use will end up being pretty low. The conditioner is meh. Overall I do think the kit is worth it given how much you get for the price.Dora310
I just had to comment after seeing negative reviews. My hair has always been super thin, I get spilt ends by doing nothing to my hair and I bought this on a whim. Never used olaplex before, but didn't want to spend the money if it didn't work. I went from washing my hair every day (maybe every other day if I could stretch it out) to every 3-4 days! I have NEVER been able to wait that long to wash my hair. Since I go so long, I use the whole steps each time I wash my hair. I think once I washed it 2 days after so I just used the shampoo and conditioner but I have been looking for something to help me train my hair and this has been it!! A huge secret is not letting your hair be dry after you out no 3 in. I literally only leave it for 10 minutes. I typically put it on, put my hair up, shave and wash my body and then start washing my hair. I'll keep the shampoo in for a little bit longer.Bay

This kit is a must, especially the wig comb, no matter what brand of wig you have. I love the Jon Renau wig-care products! They have a great-smelling shampoo, a very effective wig conditioner and wig detangler. The wig comb helps protect your wig from damage as you comb and style your wig, and paired with the detangler, this works so well at increasing the longevity of your wig. Highly recommend their wig-care line. Regular brushes can be very damaging to wigs, so I urge any wig-wearer to purchase the Jon Renau Wig Comb. I used this product a couple of times for wigs but I didn't really like the after fact if it . When I used this product against my wigs it made it look synthetic . This product is basically a detangler , but when I used it after doing French braid it made the braid shine very nicely . Instead of using the product for wigs try braidsedrianna.o
I've used this product for several years, and like it a lot. The wig shop where I bought my wig recommended it to me, and I purchased my first bottle with the wig. Since then, I've had no reason to switch brands. It seems like a small bottle (8oz), but you only use a small amount in a sink full of water so a bottle lasts a long time. (I probably average 6 months per bottle, but your mileage will vary with the length of your wig, and how often you shampoo it). My wig is synthetic BTW. I don't know how this product works with real human hair wigs.donw_s11

My Mother has been using Paula Young products for years. She has always had very thin hair, and has been wearing Paula Young wings for over 25 years. The wigs are well made and hold up very well. I recently purchased her another one, with more gray, as she is now 86 yrs old. I purchased myself a little topper…delicate touch..real hair. I was very excited to think that I could just pop this on my head in the morning with minimal fixing, but unfortunately not. The product is nice, great color that matches mine. But it’s made so that the majority of the hair falls to back and sides and the hair in the front ….only stays to the front. There is a definite line of demarcation and despite my playing with this, fussing, pulling my own hair through to blend it….it is obvious that it’s a hair piece. I think the design of the product needs to be redesigned. I’m disappointed.Gina
The wig that said it was called “Brooklyn” was WAY too long for me and I couldn’t remember even ordering it, nor would I have if I had known how long it was. I looked it up online and could not even find the wig (name OR number). It said there was no recognition of a wig with that name or number. I didn’t even try it on after seeing the length of it, so I’m sending it back for a refund. I WOULD like to know why you charge $9.95, taken off the refund? A wig sent that wasn’t even listed on Paula Young online! After buying from Paula Young for many years, I’m hesitant to do so in the future.Gail
I cannot yet give a review on this product, but I can give one on the refund process for a returned item. I purchased 3 clip on hair pieces( one is still on backorder) and received the other two. They were the wrong hair color and I didn’t care for one of them. I returned both items(one for exchange and one for refund). The exchange happened in a timely matter as expected, but the refund has been a nightmare. I’ve had to call on 4 different occasions, receiving different answers each time. I am still waiting for a refund, after almost a month, and was just told it will be another 26 days to receive my refund. I like their products, but their refund process along with having customer service agents on the same page needs some definite improvement. Hopefully, I will receive my refund this time. We’ll see.
