I think having different wigs are a fun and easy way to boost your self confidence or save time on a bad hair day. I bought this one from an Amazon seller about 2 years ago and considering it is synthetic and not a lace-front, I was surprised I was able to wear it out of the package, without a hat and people asked me who styled my hair! My mom gave Solana to me, because she wasn’t really feeling the color on her. I think this color is called “Chocolate Flamboyage” and when I first tried her on I too wasn’t 100% in love with this color as well, and being new to wearing synthetic wigs I really didn’t know what to do with it either lol. I wanted to wait until I wore them for a couple month before I did a review. I purchased 27/613 around October. Before I installed the hair, I blacked out the roots. After doing the initial wash and conditioning treatment, I noticed the hair got really rough and frizzy. I am no novice to BSH. I understand how to care for hair that has been stripped of its cuticles. This hair has been the worst hair that I have ever purchased and thats saying a-lot. I have spent more time keeping it from breaking off, than I have for any other hair I have ever purchased. Now, Its little more than silky straw. I do not recommend this hair at all, at-least not such a light shade.

This was the first hair I used years ago and don’t remember it being this bad. I recently installed 18” weft and after the first wash with sulfate free shampoo, the smoothness went away completely! Also, whenever it gets even slightly wet, even from rain or high humidity, it gives off a terrible smell, so embarrassing! Not worth skimping on price for hair you’re going to want to take out pretty much immediately.

The description states "Headband" while in actuality it's a scarf. It also has two combs (one in front, one in back) to attach the wig to the hair on your head. I have no hair. I would not have purchased this style had I known the correct specifications. Since I read the reviews about the poor customer service when requesting a refund I found a way to secure the wig to my bald head. That being said, the wig looks great and I love how the braids are finished with twists. The color works with my skin tone. I'm glad I was able to make it work and it will not end-up on my closet shelf.Shauna
After waiting several weeks for my wig. I was so excited it finally arrived. Open the box and pulled out the wig to try it on it was damaged. You could imagine how I felt the disappointment after waiting for a long time. I scarf tie is cumbersome. I thought it a stretched band and not a long loose tie. I love the braids but I don't care for the tie thing. If you were going to design it to tie consider the length.It's not long enough to wrap around and come back to the front. So there is a lot of the tie hanging down in the back. I tied a bow, but that's too bulky. Should've been on a stretchable band.Sadie

I find it funny that because I stated I was highly disappointed in the wig I purchased from this website they deleted my review. Well here we are again. I have no problem putting my review up here again. The quality of the wig its self was slightly decent when it comes to the feel and texture of the hair however I could not find the part in this wig like the picture shows and the other review that was posted. Also the wig looks like its missing hair in the front. Its clearly visible that this is a wig. Stick with buying at your local beauty stores. I was hoping for better but what do you expect when you order online.

I was so excited to receive this and try something new. I've been wearing Reese and Sky for a few years now, but wanted to switch it up a bit. I was so disappointed when I saw this. First, it looked like doll hair and the color was AWFUL! I normally wear either Irish Spice or Bronzed Brown. I ordered R3025S+ this time for a "highlighted" look, boy was I wrong. I loved the look of this wig but was hesitant to buy because of all of the bad reviews. There really are no wigs that look great right out of the box. All wigs need some sort of help. Here’s what I recommend when getting a new wig: take it out of the box and give it a good shake. Put it on and adjust the fit, ear tabs, and general placement. Finger comb it into place and then walk away. Stay away from any mirrors for at least 30 minutes or longer and don’t mess with it. This is important because when you do look in the mirror again you have “fresh eyes”. It will be easier to be more objective and not just reactive. At this point you can focus on what you do and don’t like and determine if the don’t likes are ‘fixable’. Change the part if needed, if there is too much poof, wet it down and finger comb. Don’t do any permanent modifications until you decide if you want to keep it. But give yourself time to evaluate the wig properly. For this wig, I wet the top, used my fingers to make a deep side part sweeping the bangs across my forehead and flattened down some of the poofiness on the top then left it alone to dry. I am 68 and have been wearing wigs pixie wigs for many years, but want a new wig with a little more fullness. I absolutely love this new wig and would recommend it to anyone. Unlike many of the other wigs that do not even resemble the pictures of the wig they purchased, this one looks exactly like the pictures on QVC. I only have one small complaint. The Med Red/Ginger is NOT red. It is more like a light brown with a little bit of red in it. There are a lot of us natural redheads that would love a short brighter red wig, such as Rachel Welch wig color "Glazed Fire". I would like to suggest that Hairdo and QVC start offering more wigs that are a brighter red for their redheaded customers. Even though I'm not thrilled with the color, I will keep the wig because it is very complementary to my face.grammiecc

I was at a bachelorette last summer and one of the girls had these extensions and they looked great. When I saw Ulta had them I figured I'd give them a try. They did not disappoint. So easy to use and surprisingly comfortable, I forget they're in half the time. The color was a little brighter/warmer than my own so I made a purple shampoo bath (using shimmer lights shampoo) and put them in for about 15 seconds to tone them. I also use the color wow root spray on the top of them to blend nicely with my darker roots. I've tried a lot of extensions and these are the best so far.Rebecca S.
Pros: very easy to apply, great concept Cons: feels, looks and smells like synthetic hair. The instructions indicate the hair comes with a protective chemical coat, but if this is 100% human hair, why would you add something that is going to make the hair look, feel and smell like synthetic hair. I'm guessing it's potentially a mix of natural and synthetic hairs. I ordered the Espresso and the hair strands are very thick. If you have fine hair this won't work for you. My hair is thick so it might pass as my own hair. To this company: please stop ruining natural hair with chemical substances and leave it natural (if it's actually 100% human). Soaking the extensions in hair moisturizer treatments after washing them, using heat protectant or non heat styling methods should be enough. If these extensions are not 100% human hair, then be ethic and make them of 100% human hair as stated in product.EC
I bought these for my wedding and to have for special occasions. The color "butterscotch" matched my hair perfectly. They hold style really well and blend with my natural hair. I do agree with another review that they feel almost like Barbie hair versus human hair but for the price and my first set of extensions, I'm satisfied. Only two cons: the clips sometimes pop back open and I can't get them to stay closed. And my hair is relatively thin and fine so I have to work hard to keep the tufts and clips/Seam hidden. I have purchased this wig from you many times. It has always been my favorite and I have received many compliments when wearing it. So when the website said ‘final sale’, I wasn’t concerned because I was so familiar with this style. But when I put it on, it was not the usual fullness. The ends were so thin that they didn’t style! I called customer service and was told it is a different manufacturer and no return because it’s a final sale. Now I have to spend another $50.00 to get it cut and styles just so that it’s wearable. I really like this Raquel upstage wig. Lots of ways to style, love the lace front, mono top and the color I chose. Shaded ice pumpkin spice. Plus it's heat friendly. I washed it once so far and put a clip on the back wig tag and hung it upside down in my shower, it dried quickly. A personal choice for me was to use got2be in the black tube to hold also a velvet wig band to prevent slippage. I would definitely buy it again, but I'm also wanting to try Untold Story by Raquel. I also like the color firey copper. Use only products made for heat friendly synthetic wigs and a round air brush on low to style. I would give 5 stars but the lace ftont doesn't lay flat without a bit of work and got2be glue.Cathy
I absolutely LOVE Upstage Petite by Rachel Welch. It is perfect right out of the box. I won't even get bangs cut in this one (and I always wear bangs – LOL). The texture is soft and the density is just right. The color is beautiful (Iced Mocha). The cap size is very small – even for a Petite. I had to loosen the straps all the way out, otherwise it was too tight. But, I do have long hair that I wear up in a mesh wig cap – so maybe it would be OK for someone with very fine short hair.Erin W.

I recently purchased Annette in 6F27/Caramel Ribbon. I had previously purchased another wig in the caramel ribbon and loved the color. However, this time I wanted a monofilament/lace front wig. I am very pleased with my purchase. I love the cut and style and how the scalp and hairline look so natural, which allows me to wear the part in any direction. I recently ran in to a former high school friend, whom I hadn’t seen in 40 years. She recognized me saying “you still look the same and your hair looks great”. This wig is almost perfect for me right out of the box. I have complete hair loss, so I did take up a few wefts across the back to close up the empty space between my head and the cap. I love this this wig did not need to be thinned. Before I lost my hair I had very thick hair, and this wig approximates that thickness well without being overwhelming. The style is almost exactly what my bio hair style was too! If there was anything I could do to improve this wig, it would be to make it a full lace cap to make it as cool and as lightweight as possible. However, I’m very please with this wig and do plan to buy more.
Not entirely sure. The fit is great….very comfortable and obviously well constructed. The colour is the model's colour but found the roots very dark brown and wish the sides were a tiny bit longer. That's why 4 stars instead of 5. One can't blame the wig if it doesn't suit as well as one hopes and one should never expect it to look exactly as the model. Some of my friends like it some think it's a bit 'old lady' like others don't think so at all. So will have to lvie with it for a while to see what I think. This is my second wig…I recently reviewed the Kristin" wig But am learning now to study more the specs – weight hair length at sides crown etc. monofilament or whatever rather than looking at the model. Amazing how a hairstyle can totally change one's look! Look at the other review and see a totally different 'me'! 😉 I think I will get one more and that should tie me over until my abused brillo pad hair grows out so I can cut it off and start over again.Sydney
