This wig is BY FAR my favorite wig from this collection! Not only does the scalp look SO real, but the hair texture is close to my own when it's blow dried out so it looks really natural. I did not have to do ANYTHING to it–no plucking, no make up on the lace, nada. I literally wore it right out of the box after cutting the lace. I get compliments every time I wear this wig and I am going to order more in different colors! The one I have is the flamboyage mocha. Buy this wig because you WILL NOT regret it!!!Amber

The wig is beautifulllll I was looking for a curly wig for my birthday and this was just that; perfect! It’s very voluminous and it’s giving pageant Queen lol. I’ve seen some ppl cut it to shoulder length but nahhh I love it just the way it is. I raked through it with a wide tooth comb and it’s just so bouncy. Love this unit. I ordered a #2 from this site; still waiting for that one to arrive. However, couldn’t wait and went to my local BSS and purchased the Flamboyage Auburn. Ba-by! Honey child! This is the gurl right here! Love the color. It’s very complimentary to my skin tone. Cons: you will need to pluck the hairline and I pulled out my edges because I couldn’t get the baby hairs to work. Some folk on YouTube say the cap is small but it fits my head just fine and I have a medium to large head. Just lovely and sexy at the same time. Colour P99J/530. This was my first lace front human hair wig and I'm very pleased with my purchase. She was so soft when she came out of the box, but needed a lot of TLC after the first wear. After conditioning the wig and styling it, it's back to that baby soft feel and it's lasting more than one wear. The wig is a bit small for my head, which is on the big side, but a couple modifications and it fits perfectly. The colour and bounce are AMAZING. I get lots of compliments on this wig!Courtney M.

I was skeptical to purchase this particular 360 wig because of the price. My sister has one she paid $250.00 for. My Ebonyline 360 looks much better and she's so angry she hadn't heard about Ebonyline before her purchase from another company. She did eventually purchase from Ebonyline. Hi, I have been purchasing this Shannon wig for 8yrs now and have "Never" been dis-appointed! The Shannon wig is not only durable for daily wear and holds up very well wash after was it also, is my go to wig for a quick updo for special occasions!!! My color of choice is Wheat Rooted because I have fair skin and green eyes and boy does this rooted color make my eyes pop!!! For some reason unknown to doctors when I was just 24yrs old I lost all my hair over a span of 8 months and battling cervical cancer as well! As a young woman I was devastated and experiencing depression, chemo was brutal to say the least. I had a young family to raise and had to hold down a high pressure job where personal appearances mattered!!! So needless to say I was forced into buying those old fashioned bulky and ugly wigs. Then came the more natural looking wigs that were way over priced. All I can say is thank you Wig.com and Paula Young for making such durable cute and chic looking wigs at such affordable prices!!! I also, have purchased Avery wig and Nola wig and I'm currently deciding to purchase the new Sloane wig (if you haven't checked out any of these wigs, please do so)!!! The "Special Bonus" is all of these wigs are "Versa Fiber Wigs" as well as Heat Friendly. This is key to all of the wigs I have mentioned being extremely durable shampoo after shampoo & conditioner to holding up so well!!! You can stick your head near the oven when cooking, take a walk on a hot and or humid day, sunbathe etc..etc and all of these wigs will hold up to all of what I just mentioned! Of course don't forget to purchase the correct wig shampoo, wig spray conditioner and wig spray found on both Wig.com and Paula Young. These accessories are really very important for proper wig care!!! Also, if you can afford it please splurge on a good wig stand and wig travel case, which are also found on Wig com. Stay tuned because I will be posting photos of the above mentioned wigs really soon. I will show you the various ways they can be effortlessly styled in updos and curled or just straight out of the box after just a few shakes!!! I’ve worn Shannon for many years and I love it! I’ve tried other styles, I always go back to my favorite, Shannon. I get compliments all the time! I’ve had beautician friends that were shocked when I told them I had a wig on! They fry very quickly and are so easy to style. Beautiful synthetic wig. I ordered this wig and I'm constantly receiving compliments. I've ordered this wig in FFCream and the highlights are perfect. This wig will have a little shine but dry shampoo will fix it. The parting space is great nothing needed may just a little concealer. Planning to order more..tiffany w.

The color blending is beautiful along with the waves and curls. This wig can be styled either curly or wavy. The cap is medium and will fit a petite size tooi. The hair is silky and doesn't tangle much at all. This is a great wig. This would be recommended for anyone who wants a pre styled easy care wig.angie.b

Beautiful wig in GL14/22SS. This blonde shade is perfect for my natural brunette skin tone (light to medium neutral leaning toward warm). It's not too warm, nor is it too cool, and it doesn't wash me out. I discovered Gabor recently and love the hairline and softly shaded roots of the shaded shades. The hair is soft and fine. This is a cute, lightweight pixie. She's my first experience with a lace front wig, which I find to be a little scratchy but very realistic-looking. The wig has significant permatease, but I can very easily smooth her down somewhat using just my fingers – I imagine I could get her even flatter with a good styling creme. Alternatively, if you want to spike her up, she'll go pretty high with a good shake and some teasing. I also appreciate that the bangs aren't super-long and I don't need to trim them. Although I've never tried Raquel Welch's "Winner," Serving Style seems similar to the basic (non-Elite) version of that wig, with the addition of a lace front for off-the-face styling versatility. She's going to be really great for the warmer months in particular. I'm very glad I bought her!Tricia L.

I purchased this wig in the honey pecan. I’m a natural dark brunette plus size 23 inch head and this average fit me just fine. The cap is comfortable, natural, soft, and has a nice stretch. Rooting and highlighting is very natural spot on. To keep it out of my eyes, I just use a little clip which makes it look even cuter to put it back. This is a great wig if you want hair to stay out of your face in the summer when it’s hot or while you are busy doing things. I haven’t tried the sweet talk luxury but this one feels so nice I wouldn’t even be inclined to try unless it’s just for fun. Perfect color if you’re a brunette and you want to start going lighter and have it look natural. Will put a review on YouTube under “it’s a wonderful wig” since I love this so much. The hair is very soft. Love the curls. Had an odor but all the wigs have that odor. Just wash it. Parting could have been larger to allow a side part. You can do an "top side" part. Pay attention to the image that shows the lace section. Still love the wig.yocoarnold

This is the beginning of my journey so my issues may be just that I am starting this journey kicking and screaming. I know all the YouTube reviewers say this is wonderful and fun but it isn't what I want to do – I wish my bio hair looked like this wig. It is lovely – soft and flattering for probably anyone. However, I may still return, I have tried in on for a bit several days in a row, still not sure. These may be things I just have to live with now that I have to do this to have normal 'hair'. 1.) Lace front – if I do keep this one, I will NEVER buy a lace front again. Unfortunately, it is very hard to find a nice, well made hairpiece without it because everyone else seems to love lace front – NOT ME. I don't like that you cannot pull your bio hair out from under (I know that it is great if you have no hair, but I have plenty around my face and would like to incorporate – Sincerely Yours by RW was perfect but too short). And though it DOES look very nice (I really didn't think it would look so realistic, it truly looks like a real hairline up close), it is HORRIBLY itchy. Like stiff, itchy netting and I can't wait to take it off. Maybe if I try gluing it won't itch so much? 2. I TOO much hair, as with most all of the hair pieces. While I can make this one work because it thankfully isn't LOADED up with that fake feeling/looking permatease (I know some people love it, I do NOT on me), it is still GOBS of hair. I push my hair behind my ears and I would have to have massive ears to fit the gobs falling in front of my face behind my ear; it is like trying to tuck a large rope behind my ear. Not sure why manufacturers think someone who has had hair loss or very thin hair all of the sudden will feel comfortable with a wooly mammoth strapped tightly to their raw noggin. Again, this one could be okay because I could take thinning shears to it and make it work if I keep this wig. 3. Speaking of the front bit… as other reviewers remarked, OMG does it want to go in your face. I don't want to use any product or heat on it yet because I am not sure I am keeping it so VERY difficult to tell if it will work because that is absolutely a problem. Would probably have to thin and cut that into layers – it is very pretty but no one goes around with a big chunk of hair hanging down like that all day. All of the hair on the cap is geared to go absolutely FORWARD, not sure why. It is something that would have to be worked out with heat, water and product. 4. Cap construction – Not super comfortable. Again, this is all new to me so maybe I am doing something wrong. I am using a wig grip so not sure if that adds to my discomfort. I will say that the seams around the mono part are thick and itchy. I would rather a whole mono top or a basic cap, rather than that seamed bit. Too much going on in the cap. So – if you are a regular wig wearer, this style will probably work for you; I am just not use to all these itches and things going on my head. Sort of like a pretty but uncomfortable underwire bra – you can deal but can't wait to get it off at the end of the day – that is how it feels for me. If this had the cap of the Sincerely Yours, I would have found my piece. Again, not sure if I am returning or not, but it is so expensive for me, for them not to be spot on. I need something that looks like ME and I can wear every day and it looks like normal, non-poufy, non-shiny hair and isn't going to rub my ear or itch my head, etc. I am probably hoping for too much. 🙁LJT

Cap is so comfortable. I had to cut on the bangs a little because they went directly into my eyes. However! The color more than made up for it. The eggplant shade is absolutely beautiful and perfect for the fall season! If your bio hair is or was brown and you are looking for brown yet with a twist of pow…. Choose this color! I have yet to be disappointed with the Raquel Welch brand wigs. Thank you Wigstudio1 for always getting my orders to me in such a timely manner. Makes me so happy to know an order is heading my way. I just wish I had discovered wigs many years ago when I started losing my bio hair would have saved me many tears when I was buying every product out there to get my hair back. I‘m a huge Raquel Welch wigs fan, it’s my favorite brand. And I had my eyes on this style for a while and think the stock photo looks fabulous. But it’s my first and last style in regular synthetic. I love the True2Life HD fibers by Raquel Welch, they look and feel like human hair. But these are just extremely shiny and it has a lot of hair! The color Glazed Sand is really nice and the lace front on this style is impeccable, and as this was my first unrooted color, it’s even better and more undetectable than the rooted colors. But everyone tells me that this style looks like an old woman and I‘m just too young to look that old… 😅 Of course Wigstudio1 is not to blame, their service was first class, as always!Sarah C.

I have severe hair loss on top of my head. Bad enough that I never leave my bedroom without wearing some kind of wig or hair system. This particular wig has become my go-to choice whenever I want a quick change of color or an easy swap to something already styled, for an evening or a whole day. I own several much more expensive human hair wigs, including a similar length, custom made, human hair partial wig, which is designed as a medical prosthetic that I can wear for a week or longer without removing it. Yet I also own and continue to purchase this Gayle wig, in my normal auburn color as well as in black, blonde, silvery grey, redhead, and other colors. It’s comfortable, and totally passes in public situations, including nightclubbing, as if it was my own hair. It was my best wig for several years, before I stepped up to significantly more expensive human hair wigs. This is a great wig for the price, and can easily be used for daily wear.Ceera

I ordered SF13/16 Misty Mocha Average. The overall color is nice but I'm not fond of how dark the ends get. But since I trimmed 3 or 4 inches off the length, the darker color blends in well now. The color looks a little different in different lights. I'm not a fan of perma tease but this style is not too noticeable with the little shorts stubs because of the waviness of the style. I give it four stars for potential, because right out of the box , I had these challenges: Too much hair, both length and thickness. I trimmed the bangs, which many people expect to do. I thinned out the thickness and length with thinning shears which I assume not everyone knows how to do. Starting at chin length holding a few strands the width of about an inch or more, I make one cut every two inches down and brush the cut pieces out. I then took off overall length to my taste. I'm in my 60's so I expected to be able to style it back and/or up. The changes I made allowed me to be happy with it. I will probably not purchase any wig as full and long as this again. One is enough! I wore it a few times this Spring before the heat and look forward to wearing it again in the fall.Carla

This review is for the last two wigs I purchased, which, after purchasing from Paula Young for decades, will be the last two wigs I purchase from this company. First, Gayle is cute, makes me look younger, but the hair is a bit dry and not shiny like all the other wigs I have received, making me think it's not a fresh, new wig. On the other hand, the other wig I ordered, Arielle, was not available in any color I wanted, so I took a chance and ordered something more "wild," not realizing that color cost more. When I donned the wig, I was horrified–it looked terrible on me. I wanted to return it, but was told Paula Young would charge me $8.95, or I could pay postage myself to send it back. This was the first wig I have ever tried to return to Paula Young in probably 35-40 years of ordering from the company. I was so angry at how I was treated that I will never purchase anything from this company again. Rather than return it, I sent it off to Free Wigs for Kids (postage was $5.25). I'll buy my wigs elsewhere in the future.Dr. A.

Nora is a delightful fluff and go style with waves and almost curls. I got it in color 38, which is light ash brown with grey. It is supposed to be light ash brown with 25 percent grey (it seems a bit more than that;) It would be nice if Paula Young had at least one style featured in this color. The ash brown is very close to my natural color (a bit lighter) but Nora has more grey than I do personally. Nora arrived smelling absolutely wretched; I almost gagged when I opened the box. I had to wash the wig immediately. I used Paula Young shampoo. I thought I detected the (fumigant?) odor even after the wash, but when Nora dried, she no longer smelled. When I first put her on after she'd dried she was not pretty and the curls were mashed against the cap. I shook her vigorously and then took a wide tooth comb and really brought the fibers up off the cap. I wasn't rough, but I was deliberate in going over the entire wig to revive the fibers. I was able to achieve a style very similar to the catalog photo. In my photos, Nora has a more shag-like appearance, but once on she can be fluffed to the rounded silhouette of the catalog photo. Nora fits my 22.25 inch head comfortably and could be adjusted to go even a bit larger, or smaller. I find the fibers dry to the touch and just a bit coarser than my own very fine hair (although Nora's fiber does not look coarse.) Nora is comfortable to wear and an adorable style that goes with dressy as well as casual outfits. If you are prepared to spend a few moments waking Nora up after you first get her home, I think you will be pleasantly surprised at her fluff and go versatility. When this DANCE wig and COLOR ME EXQUISITE wigs arrived, upon removing them from the box they were cute, and the colors were pretty and the best thing they had going for them, However, they didn't look much like the ones the models in the pictures wore. And there is too much perma tease or "fluff" to them. They had really no style to them at all. Especially in the front, just couldn't do much with them. And didn't want to try since being careful with them is a must when trying them on. Very disappointed with these wigs. In my humble opinion they were not great and not keepers. So I am returning them and probably won't buy anymore wigs again. Sorry PY but your wigs need to be lighter weight, lay nicer, (some of us like a bit flatter style) far less perma tease or fluff, easier to wear right out of the box…Thanks anyway…Juanita

I am completely disappointed with my purchase. I ordered two of this wig because I really like the look of the style in the picture. The wigs I received will not comb into the style shown. The top is spiked and will only stand straight up and the bangs stick straight out and will not lay nicely against the forehead. I tried to tame it down with wig spray and hair gel but it won't lay down. The top hair stands straight up and the bangs stick straight out. The wig will not comb into a nice smooth pixie like the picture shows. I would not recommend a person buy this wig unless you want spiked hair that stands straight up at the top of your head and bangs that stick straight out at your forehead. The style does not resemble the picture at all !Eve

The wig i got was nothing like the picture still deciding if I want to return it it probably can be tweaked a little bit and have a nice style but I don't think i have the energy no lace or edges.Melissa
