I've just received my 4th Top Billing topper and wanted to review again. The first two I bought in 2020 and was thrilled. Perfect fit right out of the box, color was exceptional, thick, but not too thick and not too shiny. However when I bought a new Top Billing in Feb of 2021, I could tell the difference right away and sadly the same is true of the one I just got. Two different colors, same problem. The material is thinner, shinier and unwearable without a lot of fussing. It's not as long or as full and because its thinner it flips up on the ends and doesn't look natural. It doesn't hang properly. I have thin hair all over so if I want to wear my hair "down" I need enough thickness on the topper to cover my bio hair. No problem wearing the 2020 Top Billings down, but the new ones I have to clip or pin or wear up because they're too thin. Also the new material is noticeably shinier and I've spent a lot of time washing and dry shampooing to try and get it to look more natural. I'm really disappointed as I've tried a lot of toppers and thought I'd finally found "the one"!Laura
I love the lace front & lightweight quality coverage. On the flip side, the lace front is tricky. I use Milano new topper band. The large size fits perfectly with this piece. I found them on Amazon in large & small. I comb dry hair straight back, use Kenya dry shampoo, which is a little tacky & the band does not slide back, maintaining a nice lace front. I may have bangs trimmed, not sure, yet. But I love this piece. Cap works well for a pony tail ! (Yay) Beautiful part, more like silk look.Michele
I ordered the Raquel Welch Top Billing in color RL10/12 Sunlit Chestnut. The topper was pretty but the color was just too dark (maybe too ashy) for me. I previously ordered the RL12/16 Honey Toast — it was a little too light. I am at a loss on how to order the right Raquel Welch color — the professional recommendation was to order the RL10/12 that I just returned. I love the RW heat defiant fiber, density and texture — it looks like REAL hair. My current "go to" toppers are Jon Renau Top Smart in 12/30BT Rootbeer Float and Jon Renau Top Coverage in 12 Light Golden Brown but I just don't love the shiny synthetic (non HD) fiber. This is a cute, lightweight pixie. She's my first experience with a lace front wig, which I find to be a little scratchy but very realistic-looking. The wig has significant permatease, but I can very easily smooth her down somewhat using just my fingers – I imagine I could get her even flatter with a good styling creme. Alternatively, if you want to spike her up, she'll go pretty high with a good shake and some teasing. I also appreciate that the bangs aren't super-long and I don't need to trim them. I purchased this wig in the honey pecan. I’m a natural dark brunette plus size 23 inch head and this average fit me just fine. The cap is comfortable, natural, soft, and has a nice stretch. Rooting and highlighting is very natural spot on. To keep it out of my eyes, I just use a little clip which makes it look even cuter to put it back. This is a great wig if you want hair to stay out of your face in the summer when it’s hot or while you are busy doing things. I haven’t tried the sweet talk luxury but this one feels so nice I wouldn’t even be inclined to try unless it’s just for fun. If I wasn’t experienced in wearing wigs, this would have been a really frustrating and disappointing purchase. As soon as I took the hair out of the box, the ends seemed really tough and frizzy, to the point where the comb gets stuck. Because the quality is so poor, I ensure extremely gentle combing but somehow one of the tracks has already broken within the first 1-2 weeks. The **** are that once you tint the lace/add makeup and cut your baby hairs, the hairline blends really week and looks realistic. If you’re more of an expert at tailoring your own wigs then this isn’t too bad, but you won’t be able to wear it for too long because of the quality. STYLE: Very natural yaki looking wig style wise. The hairline however needs work. There's nothing natural looking about it. LACE: simi soft and blended with my brown skin perfectly. SIZING: I would say this is small cap. I only put the straps on the 3rd latch and it felt extremely tight and secure. The back however didn't lay down a perfect as the back.

After purchasing other brown wigs (all disappointments) I decided on this Kaylss model that is Brown with Highlights, and I'm so glad I did! I have purchased several Kalyss in the past because of their quality and value. IMO they are really the best brand in low price wigs and often outshine.hundred dollar ones . (my pro's) Well Constructed Cap (also fits big heads), the length is Mid-Back, No Doll Hair Shine, the highlights aren't as obvious as the pictures, the part is reasonable, and it Looks & Feels Like Real Hair. My only wish is the bangs were longer, but I can work with them. (my only con) They don't last forever. They will give you 3 months of everyday wear, but as with other brands the frizzies are their ultimate demise. However since the price is low I just buy another. So if you are considering a brown wig with highlights, spend a little more and buy this one. You'll be glad you did!alliecat2u

This is my fourth purchase of this Sonata hair piece. I bought this one because it was a great price but they only had two colors in it so I got the glazed cinnamon which I knew was lighter than my dark brown hair. But it ended up being a lot lighter than the picture. It’s almost a strawberry blond. However once I put it on my real hair blended pretty good with it. It just looks like dark roots. I am going to lighten my real hair a little so it will blend even better. I just love this hair piece. It goes on perfect right out of the box and looks very natural. No one knows I am wearing a hair piece. Another great Vogue purchase.Linda
At first try-on of the topper, it was disappointment and frustation, but because my almost-overnight appearance of a several inches in diameter circle of complete alopecia, and my really not wanting to go back to wearing a complete wig because of never finding any to fit my head without popping off and looking very wiggy, I read tips and reviews on adjusting toppers, put it aside for a day, and then slowly started trimming it, figuring I had no other choice. The color fortunately is close enough to my own hair, so that was a plus. It took me several days of working on it and putting it aside until I got to where it works for me. Between thinning it a little at a time with my husband's beard trimmer and pulling some of my own hair through the cap with a crochet hook, and also wearing a headband, I must say it is more comfortable and harder to tell that it's a wig. Hope this helps anyone who may feel frustrated and hopeless with needing to wear a hairpiece.
Sonata is a perfect solution for anyone with fine, short cut hair that is thinning on top! Coverage is generous and can be easily blended with your own bio-hair. This is the beginning of my journey so my issues may be just that I am starting this journey kicking and screaming. I know all the YouTube reviewers say this is wonderful and fun but it isn't what I want to do – I wish my bio hair looked like this wig. It is lovely – soft and flattering for probably anyone. However, I may still return, I have tried in on for a bit several days in a row, still not sure. These may be things I just have to live with now that I have to do this to have normal 'hair'. 1.) Lace front – if I do keep this one, I will NEVER buy a lace front again. Unfortunately, it is very hard to find a nice, well made hairpiece without it because everyone else seems to love lace front – NOT ME. I don't like that you cannot pull your bio hair out from under (I know that it is great if you have no hair, but I have plenty around my face and would like to incorporate – Sincerely Yours by RW was perfect but too short). And though it DOES look very nice (I really didn't think it would look so realistic, it truly looks like a real hairline up close), it is HORRIBLY itchy. Like stiff, itchy netting and I can't wait to take it off. Maybe if I try gluing it won't itch so much? 2. I TOO much hair, as with most all of the hair pieces. While I can make this one work because it thankfully isn't LOADED up with that fake feeling/looking permatease (I know some people love it, I do NOT on me), it is still GOBS of hair. I push my hair behind my ears and I would have to have massive ears to fit the gobs falling in front of my face behind my ear; it is like trying to tuck a large rope behind my ear. Not sure why manufacturers think someone who has had hair loss or very thin hair all of the sudden will feel comfortable with a wooly mammoth strapped tightly to their raw noggin. Again, this one could be okay because I could take thinning shears to it and make it work if I keep this wig. 3. Speaking of the front bit… as other reviewers remarked, OMG does it want to go in your face. I don't want to use any product or heat on it yet because I am not sure I am keeping it so VERY difficult to tell if it will work because that is absolutely a problem. Would probably have to thin and cut that into layers – it is very pretty but no one goes around with a big chunk of hair hanging down like that all day. All of the hair on the cap is geared to go absolutely FORWARD, not sure why. It is something that would have to be worked out with heat, water and product. 4. Cap construction – Not super comfortable. Again, this is all new to me so maybe I am doing something wrong. I am using a wig grip so not sure if that adds to my discomfort. I will say that the seams around the mono part are thick and itchy. I would rather a whole mono top or a basic cap, rather than that seamed bit. Too much going on in the cap. So – if you are a regular wig wearer, this style will probably work for you; I am just not use to all these itches and things going on my head. Sort of like a pretty but uncomfortable underwire bra – you can deal but can't wait to get it off at the end of the day – that is how it feels for me. If this had the cap of the Sincerely Yours, I would have found my piece. Again, not sure if I am returning or not, but it is so expensive for me, for them not to be spot on. I need something that looks like ME and I can wear every day and it looks like normal, non-poufy, non-shiny hair and isn't going to rub my ear or itch my head, etc. I am probably hoping for too much. 🙁LJT

The eggplant shade is absolutely beautiful and perfect for the fall season! If your bio hair is or was brown and you are looking for brown yet with a twist of pow…. Choose this color! I have yet to be disappointed with the Raquel Welch brand wigs. Thank you Wigstudio1 for always getting my orders to me in such a timely manner. Makes me so happy to know an order is heading my way. I just wish I had discovered wigs many years ago when I started losing my bio hair would have saved me many tears when I was buying every product out there to get my hair back. I‘m a huge Raquel Welch wigs fan, it’s my favorite brand. And I had my eyes on this style for a while and think the stock photo looks fabulous. But it’s my first and last style in regular synthetic. I love the True2Life HD fibers by Raquel Welch, they look and feel like human hair. But these are just extremely shiny and it has a lot of hair! The color Glazed Sand is really nice and the lace front on this style is impeccable, and as this was my first unrooted color, it’s even better and more undetectable than the rooted colors. But everyone tells me that this style looks like an old woman and I‘m just too young to look that old… 😅 Of course Wigstudio1 is not to blame, their service was first class, as always!Sarah C.

This topper did not work for me but I’m still giving 5 stars because the quality, style and color were beautiful. It also shipped same day and arrived in less than a week.I have too much thinning the front so I had to go with a different piece. The return process was super easy and the new piece has an arrival date less than a week from day ordered. Which also shipped same day. Very excited to try my new wig!
A lot of hair on this topper! The synthetic is supposed to be HD but I cannot get this piece to straighten. Not as wavy as pictured. It’s pretty but not worth the money at all. Looks cheap! I think that is what disappointments me the most. I had high hopes for this piece. The ends looked fried so I took a few inches off which helped it to look more natural. This will be a backup or an emergency piece for me. Ordered the color biscuit which is beautiful and almost the same color as my bio hair.Jill P.
Let me start by saying … I love this topper. It is very low shine, which makes it look so real. Thanks HF fiber! The individual hairs are on the thinner side. Good for those with fair European hair. HOWEVER There is TONS of it. Yet it feels super light and comfortable. Nothing some thinning sheers can’t fix if you need to. It’s cut in an angle. Shorter in the front than the back. I’d say it falls 3 or 4 inches below the shoulder. It has some adorable bright white streaks near the front. LOVE it. The roots are pretty light . I would say it is a light ash brown.Lighter than the Renau ones I’ve purchased in the past. Overall , I suggest it . It’s gorgeous . I only deducted one star for the massive thicknessAmy V.
