Wigstudio1 Com Collections Our Entire Wig Collection For Sale (2023 Update)

Unfortunately, this keeps happening over and over. The Rene of Paris wigs I buy are usually on clearance and therefore I cannot return them. I have finally learned my lesson. It isn't the fault of Wigstudio1 – they are wonderful to do business with – it is the manufacturer. I am sure there are plenty of ROP's wigs that are nice but every one I have purchased, the fibers are are dry and feel like matted doll hair. Wyatt is no different. And it has an excessive amount of permatease. That said, I don't like permatease and so I typically go for those with very little so this particular wig seemed to have an excessive amount. I had a couple of other ROP wigs that didn't and others say that this didn't so maybe it was just this one piece. I tried washing it with Jone Renau shampoo and conditioner and used a conditioning spray and it just got even more dried out, matted and I could not tame the permatease. It looked like a big pink mushroom cloud on top of my head. All of this said, the color is beautiful. I do like the watermelon R and wish I could find something similar, but in another brand. Anyway, I am sorry to leave this review but I wanted others to know my experience. Those return hairs are stubborn.) I needed to trim the bangs. I steamed the bangs to improve the direction and return hairs. There's enough return hair throughout the body of the wig that it makes it look a little "ratty at the back", as my bff said. I want to take the time to tame the rest of the return hair, but I haven't yet. It's also a little tangly in general, but I'm trying to be careful with it and not brush it as much as I really want to… The monotop is not comfortable, but hopefully that's just this unit, and it improves with wearing and washing. It's a little tight on my average (but leaning toward large) head. The ear tabs sit on a good spot near my ears. It has wave but is not poofy. I like the length and shape of it, long, feminine, like I tried to look nice by giving my hair a once-over with a bigger-barreled curling iron. You could definitely wear this up or down, make it look more casual, or dressier. I only wish it had more color choices. The color options on this one are dismal. (You can see all the colors on the actual ROP site.) They came out with what looks like a related wig just now, and it's color choices are just as lacking. I don't know who is approving these color options, but they're apparently from the Henry Ford school of thought, "they can have any color they want as long as it's black." I would repurchase this wig but there's no other color that grabs me, so I'll say that if it ages nicely, so far I feel that I would buy another down the road when it's time to retire this one. If they had more color choices, I would buy another, and soon, to see if I like it as well as I do this one so far.Jay

I’ve been looking for a short pixie with a side swept bang, and—finally—this is it! What I like about Amara: 1) It’s very short at the nape. The hair barely touches my collar. 2) it’s a snug fit. When you bend your head forward, it doesn’t slide, flip up, or move off your neck at all. (I don’t worry about this wig at all when I’m sailing.) 3) Although it is a short wig, it still has that classic ROP profile with a tapered back and a little “poof” at the crown. 5) The bang. I love me a side swept bang! 6) The hair is nice and short around the ears. Usually I have to tuck the hair of every wig behind my ears, but not this one. 7) The color (Creamy Blond) is very neutral. I have cool undertones and look terrible in blonds that are yellow. This is definitely a platinum, but a slightly warm platinum—not white at all. Balanced. Neutral. What I don’t like about Amara: 1) Some of the layered hairs flip out a little in the back instead of laying straight with the rest. If I can’t tame them, I’m going to carefully clip them off. What some others might not like about Amara: 1) This style has a basic cap with perma-tease, no mono anything, and no lace front. It’s doesn’t have a ton of perma-tease but enough to keep the volume. Upon close inspection of the crown, your wig secret may be exposed. However, it’s no worse and probably better than most other wigs with basic caps. Personally, I like the volume from perma-tease and don’t give a hoot whether people know I wear wigs (all my friends know anyways). 2) The cap is tight! Probably not a good choice for a larger head. But, I like a tight cap. It’s not so tight that I get a headache. 3) Ear tabs are short. This wig won’t work if you need to cover a lot of bio- hair at your side burns. It pains me to say this, but when my Renee of Paris Serena arrived she was packaged in a way where the hair fibers were bent on both sides. This particular Unit is not heat friendly so I was unable to straighten it out. I used plain water and sprayed lightly the unit it did not work. I was able to wear it one day, and that was it the fibers tangled badly. I’ve had Renee of Paris units before so I was a bit surprised at this as well as the packaging. I was not happy, and the cost I felt for that much money it should’ve been a lot better of an experience. I did cut some of the bend out So I was able to wear it but only once or twice. This is a picture after I straightened it some with water and cutting it. I have worn mini units especially when I had chemotherapy, and they were never packaged in a way where they were bent upon arrival.Amy H.

This wig arrived with cut loose hairs in the hairnet. It looked like it had been trimmed at the bangs, all unevenly, flyaway looking, just not good. I am certainly not faulting wigstudio1 , but the purchaser before me who must have gotten scissor happy. Not cool. The wig itself was the perfect length that I had been looking for, however and it looked to be a nice enough quality. It was really shiny, but that can be solved with dry shampoo, of course. This is my second wig. As my hair loss has occurred my bio hair has been cut to shorter and shorter pixie style. This is actually how I wore my hair for years. I have very fine hair and this fiber is much closer to my hair texture. I like the color. I learned that I really do have a petite head and have had to take in the wefts. Thanks to one of the admins on the Facebook page for showing me how to do this. I really wish TessAllure had petite size wigs,Linda R.

I just received my first Amore in Marble Brown. The style is adorable but very flat on my head." I am a perma tease kind of girl." Even if it were a perma tease peace, the Marble Brown in this collection is much lighter than in other collections. It's more of a light golden brown as opposed to a rich medium brown base with light brown hilights. So, this one is going back….not for me.Susan P.

When I first received the wig I was worried that it would be too thin. But, when I am wearing it, I find that the lower density looks extremely natural and more realistic than the overly thick human hair wigs I have had in the past. The hair is very smooth and you can run your fingers right through it. I had the Kim by Jon Reneau which has extremely sick denier. I have this bravo wig in the color R 11 S. It looks extremely realistic as though my hair had been professionally highlighted. I also find the lace front to be the best I have ever worn. The netting is so fine that I truly can barely see it. This is the first wig I have on where I do not feel the need to cut the lace. Although some may not like the thin density for the shorter length, I find it perfect for every day wear. I was looking for a wig that was short enough to be comfortably worn every day easy to tuck behind the ears, yet long enough to be pulled back out of my face. Also I would like to add that this week does not shed at all so I am expecting it to last quite a while.I gave this four stars only because I do wish there was slightly more hair in the lower back region of the cap.Patricia D.

I‘m a huge Raquel Welch wigs fan, it’s my favorite brand. And I had my eyes on this style for a while and think the stock photo looks fabulous. But it’s my first and last style in regular synthetic. I love the True2Life HD fibers by Raquel Welch, they look and feel like human hair. But these are just extremely shiny and it has a lot of hair! The color Glazed Sand is really nice and the lace front on this style is impeccable, and as this was my first unrooted color, it’s even better and more undetectable than the rooted colors. But everyone tells me that this style looks like an old woman and I‘m just too young to look that old… 😅 Of course Wigstudio1 is not to blame, their service was first class, as always!Sarah C.

The most natural looking wig I have ever purchased. A friend who knows I wear wigs, asked if she was seeing my bio hair. I was wearing hand tied Center Stage with the lovely lace front when she sat across from me at a restaurant that day. Nothing more needs to be written to explain the 5 stars. Center Stage has the most natural looking 'part' and believable density. I currently have this in 2 different but similar colors. I am shocked to see negative reviews. All it takes is a little patience with water, spray and/or gel to fool even a best friend. I don't want to forget to rate the comfort level-also deserves 5 stars.NBS

This is the beginning of my journey so my issues may be just that I am starting this journey kicking and screaming. I know all the YouTube reviewers say this is wonderful and fun but it isn't what I want to do – I wish my bio hair looked like this wig. It is lovely – soft and flattering for probably anyone. However, I may still return, I have tried in on for a bit several days in a row, still not sure. These may be things I just have to live with now that I have to do this to have normal 'hair'. 1.) Lace front – if I do keep this one, I will NEVER buy a lace front again. Unfortunately, it is very hard to find a nice, well made hairpiece without it because everyone else seems to love lace front – NOT ME. I don't like that you cannot pull your bio hair out from under (I know that it is great if you have no hair, but I have plenty around my face and would like to incorporate – Sincerely Yours by RW was perfect but too short). And though it DOES look very nice (I really didn't think it would look so realistic, it truly looks like a real hairline up close), it is HORRIBLY itchy. Like stiff, itchy netting and I can't wait to take it off. Maybe if I try gluing it won't itch so much? 2. I TOO much hair, as with most all of the hair pieces. While I can make this one work because it thankfully isn't LOADED up with that fake feeling/looking permatease (I know some people love it, I do NOT on me), it is still GOBS of hair. I push my hair behind my ears and I would have to have massive ears to fit the gobs falling in front of my face behind my ear; it is like trying to tuck a large rope behind my ear. Not sure why manufacturers think someone who has had hair loss or very thin hair all of the sudden will feel comfortable with a wooly mammoth strapped tightly to their raw noggin. Again, this one could be okay because I could take thinning shears to it and make it work if I keep this wig. 3. Speaking of the front bit… as other reviewers remarked, OMG does it want to go in your face. I don't want to use any product or heat on it yet because I am not sure I am keeping it so VERY difficult to tell if it will work because that is absolutely a problem. Would probably have to thin and cut that into layers – it is very pretty but no one goes around with a big chunk of hair hanging down like that all day. All of the hair on the cap is geared to go absolutely FORWARD, not sure why. It is something that would have to be worked out with heat, water and product. 4. Cap construction – Not super comfortable. Again, this is all new to me so maybe I am doing something wrong. I am using a wig grip so not sure if that adds to my discomfort. I will say that the seams around the mono part are thick and itchy. I would rather a whole mono top or a basic cap, rather than that seamed bit. Too much going on in the cap. So – if you are a regular wig wearer, this style will probably work for you; I am just not use to all these itches and things going on my head. Sort of like a pretty but uncomfortable underwire bra – you can deal but can't wait to get it off at the end of the day – that is how it feels for me. If this had the cap of the Sincerely Yours, I would have found my piece. Again, not sure if I am returning or not, but it is so expensive for me, for them not to be spot on. I need something that looks like ME and I can wear every day and it looks like normal, non-poufy, non-shiny hair and isn't going to rub my ear or itch my head, etc. I am probably hoping for too much. 🙁LJT

Cap is so comfortable. I had to cut on the bangs a little because they went directly into my eyes. However! The color more than made up for it. The eggplant shade is absolutely beautiful and perfect for the fall season! If your bio hair is or was brown and you are looking for brown yet with a twist of pow…. Choose this color! I have yet to be disappointed with the Raquel Welch brand wigs. Thank you Wigstudio1 for always getting my orders to me in such a timely manner. Makes me so happy to know an order is heading my way. I love the True2Life HD fibers by Raquel Welch, they look and feel like human hair. But these are just extremely shiny and it has a lot of hair! The color Glazed Sand is really nice and the lace front on this style is impeccable, and as this was my first unrooted color, it’s even better and more undetectable than the rooted colors. But everyone tells me that this style looks like an old woman and I‘m just too young to look that old… 😅 Of course Wigstudio1 is not to blame, their service was first class, as always!Sarah C.

When I first received the wig I was worried that it would be too thin. But, when I am wearing it, I find that the lower density looks extremely natural and more realistic than the overly thick human hair wigs I have had in the past. The hair is very smooth and you can run your fingers right through it. I had the Kim by Jon Reneau which has extremely sick denier. I have this bravo wig in the color R 11 S. It looks extremely realistic as though my hair had been professionally highlighted. I also find the lace front to be the best I have ever worn. The netting is so fine that I truly can barely see it. This is the first wig I have on where I do not feel the need to cut the lace. Although some may not like the thin density for the shorter length, I find it perfect for every day wear. I was looking for a wig that was short enough to be comfortably worn every day easy to tuck behind the ears, yet long enough to be pulled back out of my face. Also I would like to add that this week does not shed at all so I am expecting it to last quite a while.I gave this four stars only because I do wish there was slightly more hair in the lower back region of the cap.Patricia D.

The most natural looking wig I have ever purchased. A friend who knows I wear wigs, asked if she was seeing my bio hair. I was wearing hand tied Center Stage with the lovely lace front when she sat across from me at a restaurant that day. Nothing more needs to be written to explain the 5 stars. Center Stage has the most natural looking 'part' and believable density. I currently have this in 2 different but similar colors. I am shocked to see negative reviews. All it takes is a little patience with water, spray and/or gel to fool even a best friend. I don't want to forget to rate the comfort level-also deserves 5 stars.NBS

This is the third time i am buying this wig! that tells you that it is a winner. The 3 times, I have gotten it in different colors and i have been very satisfied. Its full, very natural and people complement me and then i tell them its a wig and they go big eyed!! it sits very well, low maintenance, which is what I really like about it. Upon opening the package, this wig was an extremely dry matted mess of curls that were pressed into hard squared shapes. After gently finger picking and shaping it, the curls did not soften into a natural pattern at all. Instead, the wig just became a frizzy mess that looked extremely cheap, fake, and clownish. I really love Scorpio Pm in Pecan. The style and density make it look real. I don't like the one piece of hair that falls straight, like others have mentioned. And either there is no metal stays in ear tabs, or needs to be stronger. I wish it came in more light/medium browns. Overall it is a very realistic wig and definitely recommend.Sheri L.

I really like the Scorpio pm. Caffe Latte is a beautiful color with chunky highlights. The fibers are natural. The bangs were very straight, but I used a hot air brush and they came out perfect. I gave it 4 stars because the mono part needed work to make it look natural, but once I loosened fibers and used scar tape, it looks great!Karen M.

I had high hopes for the Sandy Sliver color, which was supposed to be a gray-brown mix. The wig was poofy, with lots of permatease. The biggest problem was the white bangs that didn't blend in with the rest of the hair. I felt the description was poor. This is the first wig I have returned. The return was well done.Linda R.

This is the beginning of my journey so my issues may be just that I am starting this journey kicking and screaming. I know all the YouTube reviewers say this is wonderful and fun but it isn't what I want to do – I wish my bio hair looked like this wig. It is lovely – soft and flattering for probably anyone. However, I may still return, I have tried in on for a bit several days in a row, still not sure. These may be things I just have to live with now that I have to do this to have normal 'hair'. 1.) Lace front – if I do keep this one, I will NEVER buy a lace front again. Unfortunately, it is very hard to find a nice, well made hairpiece without it because everyone else seems to love lace front – NOT ME. I don't like that you cannot pull your bio hair out from under (I know that it is great if you have no hair, but I have plenty around my face and would like to incorporate – Sincerely Yours by RW was perfect but too short). And though it DOES look very nice (I really didn't think it would look so realistic, it truly looks like a real hairline up close), it is HORRIBLY itchy. Like stiff, itchy netting and I can't wait to take it off. Maybe if I try gluing it won't itch so much? 2. I TOO much hair, as with most all of the hair pieces. Well, I finally learned my lesson. I cannot purchase clearance items any longer since every time I have, there has been something either wrong with the wig (manufacturing) or something I didn't like and there are no returns. There wasn't anything wrong with this piece. She just had way too much hair and the fibers were so dry they were like straw. It is a beautiful warm color but the density, the permatease and the dry fibers made this difficult to pull off. I thinned it out and tried to tame the permatease but it just didn't work. Plus, the fibers were like doll hair and so that was a dead giveaway. This was the third JR piece and all have pretty dry fibers. Is this normal? I am a first time buyer, trying to figure out what fits and how to wear the wigs. I ordered 3 wigs in this first order, and two of them I can adjust and work with. But "Gwen" has very short hair and it looks nothing like the pictures! I had it on my head for a few seconds and couldn't stand the very short hair with no shape at all. It looked like a hedgehog, The color is nice, but this wig is too small, too short hair for my plus size figure: Gwen Wig by Jon Renau STRAWBERRY BLONDE AND WARM PLATINUM BLONDE BLENDED & TIPPED W STRAWBERRY BLONDE NAPE (27T613F). In all fairness, I only had it on my head a few seconds and took it off right away, I didn't try to make it look better, afraid to ruin the chance for return. It might be ok for someone else, but at 62 yrs old and plus size figure, that little wig was not even funny! I filled out the return label for "Gwen" but keeping the other two, with medium length hair: "Blushing Beauty" Wig by Gabor | Mono Part GL16/27 and the "Salsa" Wig by Raquel Welch | Large Cap R14/88H Golden Wheat. Those two are a bit large and I need to learn to adjust the tabs in the back, and I also need to figure out from the videos how to "style" them with my fingers so they look good for me. But looking forward to enjoying those two.Carmen

This is a cute summer wig for someone who doesn't want permatese. It's low density. I got 22F16 there is not enough dimension for me but I do feel someone looking for a well made no permatese, low density piece would be very happy with it. I did have lots of thick hair & I like some poof on top.I was going to give it away but it is growing on me using dry shampoo,piece out & hair spray. Even tho it's symmetrical you can achieve a asymmetrical look with some tucking. I have noticed many reviews/comments on various pieces that I feel expectations are often unrealistic. Let's face it we all don't look like the beautiful ladies,Eileen,Marlen or Taz much less the models. I have found often if I think I don't like something if I change my makeup,color I'm wearing wait a few days,wear it around the house,often one I thought I would send back grows on me. Also often they just need a bit of tweaking with a small trim here & there to make it my own. I imagine very few can just take most of them out of the box with INSTANT SUCCESS ! Even I expected it at 1st & being a Master Stylist (retired) should have known better. I guess what I'm trying to say to all those who are new like me is to be patient.S N.

Brandi is an absolutely gorgeous piece. However, the cap runs small and didn’t fit me. For really petite people this would be a head-turner for sure. The wig was already thinning in the front when I got it and I can't hide this with bio hair because the lace is too long (can't cut the lace because it is the only thing gripping the front, there are no clips). I don't recommend this piece for people with small/low foreheads, maybe if you are completely bald with no bio hair it might work for you but not if you have pale skin because the knots are very dark and the lace is tan. I tried to straighten the hair on low heat and it made a melting smell, I question if all the hair is real. The cap is also extremely itchy and the lace is not soft (because the lace grips) so it is uncomfortable when it sits on my forehead. I would need to sew in clips and then seal off the lace so it doesn't unravel when trimmed, but for $2000 I would expect this to be of better quality. I own many wigs and hair toppers, I am always disappointed in Jon Renau but I took a risk because I liked the color. The Jon Renau brand is not carried much anymore because their pieces are just not worth the price. I am just going to have to stick with Uniwigs because at least I know what to expect and they are keeping up with the trends for comfort and affordability.LS

The hair piece is nicely made and the color was spot-on. I really, really wanted to like this wig. My overall problem was the style… and was in a few of the reviews I had read prior. The front part was over bearing and so much so that it wouldn't stay out of my face…. almost like there was too much hair. While I didn't try to style the piece or trim to see if that would make a difference (didn't want to do anything in case I returned, which I did), so it's possible I could have made it work. But I just couldn't get past the front portion of the wig and all the volume; I couldn't figure out what to do with it! I am not new to hair pieces, wigs and extension pony-tails so I am aware that some effort is-or-might be necessary, etc., but it simply just looked fake on me. I only deducted 1 Star because it might have been fixable but $300.++ I didn't want to take that chance so I returned. But overall, the wig is pretty and the cap is comfy. Good luck!Susie
