I think having different wigs are a fun and easy way to boost your self confidence or save time on a bad hair day. I bought this one from an Amazon seller about 2 years ago and considering it is synthetic and not a lace-front, I was surprised I was able to wear it out of the package, without a hat and people asked me who styled my hair! I watched many reviews on this wig on YouTube and it looked too good to be true. Well let me tell you, this is the best synthetic blend wig that I have ever purchased. The invisible lace is easily customizable with the right tone wig cap or the foundation method. The realistic hair line that comes pre plucked is done so well people cant beleive its a wig! The parting space is amazing, wide and deep giving you so many versatile looks while remaining realistic. If I can point out any cons it would be that you will have to secure the ear tabs down otherwise they will lift up whenever you flip your hair or the wind blows. The ear tabs do actually come ear to ear. The hair tends to easily get tangles as it is a curly synthetic but nothing you cant manage. I recommend treating each ringlet grouping as a stand slone and comb through one at a time, it really comes out beautifully and can look brand new every time. I also find that a little hair product helps keep the frizz at bay. Other than that this wig is top notch and can definitely last you a while with proper care. I get so many compliments and "thats a wig" comments that even with the slight cons it still gets a 5 star rating. I will be ordering this wig again!Angel W.

Beautiful wig in GL14/22SS. This blonde shade is perfect for my natural brunette skin tone (light to medium neutral leaning toward warm). It's not too warm, nor is it too cool, and it doesn't wash me out. I discovered Gabor recently and love the hairline and softly shaded roots of the shaded shades. The hair is soft and fine. This is a cute, lightweight pixie. She's my first experience with a lace front wig, which I find to be a little scratchy but very realistic-looking. The wig has significant permatease, but I can very easily smooth her down somewhat using just my fingers – I imagine I could get her even flatter with a good styling creme. Alternatively, if you want to spike her up, she'll go pretty high with a good shake and some teasing. I also appreciate that the bangs aren't super-long and I don't need to trim them. Although I've never tried Raquel Welch's "Winner," Serving Style seems similar to the basic (non-Elite) version of that wig, with the addition of a lace front for off-the-face styling versatility. I purchased this wig in the honey pecan. I’m a natural dark brunette plus size 23 inch head and this average fit me just fine. The cap is comfortable, natural, soft, and has a nice stretch. Rooting and highlighting is very natural spot on. To keep it out of my eyes, I just use a little clip which makes it look even cuter to put it back. This is a great wig if you want hair to stay out of your face in the summer when it’s hot or while you are busy doing things. I haven’t tried the sweet talk luxury but this one feels so nice I wouldn’t even be inclined to try unless it’s just for fun. Perfect color if you’re a brunette and you want to start going lighter and have it look natural. Will put a review on YouTube under “it’s a wonderful wig” since I love this so much. Well, I finally learned my lesson. I cannot purchase clearance items any longer since every time I have, there has been something either wrong with the wig (manufacturing) or something I didn't like and there are no returns. There wasn't anything wrong with this piece. She just had way too much hair and the fibers were so dry they were like straw. It is a beautiful warm color but the density, the permatease and the dry fibers made this difficult to pull off. I thinned it out and tried to tame the permatease but it just didn't work. Plus, the fibers were like doll hair and so that was a dead giveaway. This was the third JR piece and all have pretty dry fibers. Is this normal? But "Gwen" has very short hair and it looks nothing like the pictures! I had it on my head for a few seconds and couldn't stand the very short hair with no shape at all. In all fairness, I only had it on my head a few seconds and took it off right away, I didn't try to make it look better, afraid to ruin the chance for return. It might be ok for someone else, but at 62 yrs old and plus size figure, that little wig was not even funny! I filled out the return label for "Gwen" but keeping the other two, with medium length hair: "Blushing Beauty" Wig by Gabor | Mono Part GL16/27 and the "Salsa" Wig by Raquel Welch | Large Cap R14/88H Golden Wheat. Those two are a bit large and I need to learn to adjust the tabs in the back, and I also need to figure out from the videos how to "style" them with my fingers so they look good for me. This is a cute summer wig for someone who doesn't want permatese. It's low density. I got 22F16 there is not enough dimension for me but I do feel someone looking for a well made no permatese, low density piece would be very happy with it. I did have lots of thick hair & I like some poof on top.I was going to give it away but it is growing on me using dry shampoo,piece out & hair spray. Even tho it's symmetrical you can achieve a asymmetrical look with some tucking. I have noticed many reviews/comments on various pieces that I feel expectations are often unrealistic. Let's face it we all don't look like the beautiful ladies,Eileen,Marlen or Taz much less the models. I have found often if I think I don't like something if I change my makeup,color I'm wearing wait a few days,wear it around the house,often one I thought I would send back grows on me. Also often they just need a bit of tweaking with a small trim here & there to make it my own. I imagine very few can just take most of them out of the box with INSTANT SUCCESS ! Even I expected it at 1st & being a Master Stylist (retired) should have known better. I guess what I'm trying to say to all those who are new like me is to be patient.S N.
