I have been MORE than pleasantly surprised at just how much this TGIN Miracle RepaiRx protective leave-in has left my thick but fine, bleached and colored hair EVERY TIME I've used it!! Silky soft hair that detangles easily and DOES NOT WEIGH MY HAIR DOWN!! The ingredient deck on these TGIN products is phenomenal! I am a licensed professional so I have access to nearly every prestige professional hair brands everyday and I truly love some of my HG favorites….BUT…TGIN MIRACLE REPAIRX PROTECTIVE LEAVE IN LEAVES MY HAIR SMOOTH, SOFT, SHINY, EASILY DETANGLED (my fine hair sisters out there know the struggle is real after shampooing and conditioning to get pretty long thick but fine hair strands to detangle can get us twisted and angry.) I love that the ingredients are so good and natural. I enjoy the scent too. I will continue to buy more TGIN products to use myself and as gifts to my two besties who also are licensed professionals. Can't wait to get their feedback! • As I read the only non five star review on this product was that it weighted her hair down making it kinda greasy. My solution would be to use half as much product atarting from midshaft to the ends. I myself also apply some to some chunky platinum pieces around my face because those are places that are easily broken off after being lifted so extremely high and they're fine hairs too. I used to have dry, frizzy unmanageable curly hair (3b). I've tried nearly every product for curly hair and *nothing* has worked like this leave-in. My hair is now shiny and smooth, but retains my curls too. I can actually brush through my hair on no-wash days and my curls maintain their shape. With other products, my curls would fall and get frizzy by mid-day. I know everyone responds uniquely to products, but I am so happy to to find my holy grail! Other reviews mentioned to use it sparingly; I use it very, very liberally. My hair soaks up leave-in conditioner so I probably use 10 pumps, concentrating on the crown and ends. I do t understand some of these reviews, like it not being thick? This is a very thick leave in and you really need to use sparingly. I feel like if you actually put enough in to coat the majority of your hair to reap the benefits you would have a greasy head full of hair. I got this because I was a bit on protein overload and while my hair has felt softer it's not done anything to repeat or seal split ends like it claims. Doing a bunch of research after this issue I've found that although coconut oil is a big fad it is actually not good for a lot of hair types. ESPECIALLY if your dealing with excess protein in your hair, it will make the problem worse since coconut oil causes protein buildup. Wish I had know that before purchasing. Seeing as how so many products have coconut oil in them that's probably how I wound up in the mess to begin with. Just a FYI for anyone else that may be having the same issue. Now I do like TGIN repair mask, although I don't like the smell necessarily, I also don't get the amazing smell others claim regarding this leave in?! This is my second product from Mielle: I bought the hair growth oil before and I’m still using it with good results in terms of greater hair density and thickness. So I decided to try their strengthening mask and I like it so much! It’s creamy and has a light mint scent which is really pleasant for me. It leaves my curly, natural, long hair soft, shiny, nourished and overall more beautiful and easy to style. I use the mask on shampooed hair and leave it on for 30 minutes with a shower cup to promote the absorption of the natural ingredients in the shaft. My hair is 3a/3c with medium porosity and density. I could not recommend this product enough!!!! It's amazing. Sometimes I use it instead of conditioner and it hydrates your hair, makes it shiny, no more dry ugly ends, is easy to detangle when brushing it and smells great. You can also use it on your roots as it does not weigh your hair down. My hair is long and very straight naturally but based on other reviews, I've noticed that it works on a lot of different hair types. If you're not sure what to use, you should definitely try this hair masque. 12/10 ^_^Cod
I've never been able to use a hair masque because usually they are too heavy or oddly drying. Even picking a conditioner can be tricky. But this masque is really great. My daughter loves it, too. I have fine, wavy-curly low porosity hair. Since less is usually more with my hair, and also since I do always have much time, I use a small dollop and only leave in for 2-5 minutes. For me that's plenty to still get benefits. My hair is soft and curls are more defined with more shine. It feels healing for my hair. I like the scent since I prefer more herbal smells than perfumes. It reminds me of Aveda products. Definitely going to try more Mielle products.Van
