Piggy Paint Ice Cream Dream Nail polish my granddaughters loved this ! I like that nothing in the polish is toxic ! It's also very easy clean up ! These polishes are 75% water my 10 yr old granddaughter does her nails every few days rubbing alcohol can easily remove the polish to get the polish to harden its best to use a hair dryer we used my nail dryer & it worked even better ! Wow! Finally a kid-friendly nail Polish that actually goes on nicely and LASTS!! The colors are beautifully vibrant and I love that they all have a nice shimmer/sparkle to them. I used the top/base coat on my two kids (4 and 6 year olds) then alternated with the purple, green, and pink colors to their liking for both nails and toes. I really appreciate that that it doesn’t smell like chemicals! I don’t have to worry about my kids inhaling the fumes or putting their hands in their mouths (one of them likes to bite her nails). I loved the saturated color and it lasted for 2 weeks on my toes without chipping. I did experience some chipping on my fingernails after 5 days. I used Sally Hansen base and top coat with both toes and fingers. I usually use a soy based polish remover for removal all my polishes ((usually Sally Hansen, Opi and Essie). However, the polish wouldn’t come off with the soy polish remover. Luckily I had some acetone remover and was able to use that. Even with the acetone remover, it took me an hour to get the polish off my fingers! I didn’t bother trying to remove the polish off my toes. I went to a nail salon and they had to soak off the polish with acetone remover and file off the remnants of polish. They asked me if I was wearing gel polish. I had to show them the bottle. I won’t use this polish again. I get the same staying power with my regular polishes with the headache of removal.LadyCG

I used this nail polish for the first time three days ago and I couldn't be happier with the result! For years I have had acrylic nails and have recently stopped because I don't have time to go and get them done with my new baby, so I decided to invest in some new nail polish and boy am I glad I did! I used the JINsoon Power Coat Strengthening Base Coat, followed by 2 coats of the Essie Light Lilac, then the JINsoon Top Gloss Quick Dry Top Coat, and finished off with the Essie Quick-e Drying Drops Nail Polish Treatment and my nail look AMAZING! They actually look like I've got shellac on. And what's even more amazing, they dried SUPER fast! It took me maybe 10-15 minutes to do the application, and then I let dry for maybe 20-30 minutes and they were completely set. I was able to get dinner ready and do the dishes straight away with no denting or smudging! This is a game changer! I'm now on day three and they still look as good as day 1! I was sick of the colours you would get from OPI or the drugstore that just felt a bit too childish – I love pink and purple but I don’t need my nails to look like a kids bedroom wall. My daughter loves the polish colors and the stickers. The polish quality isn’t like an adult polish and/or polish with more chemicals. The polish chips off by the next day just from normal everyday activities, hand washing, bath. My daughter doesn’t mind but then she just asks to paint her nails every other day. Lol. I have even used the blow dryer but I don’t notice it makes the polish last any longer. I do like that the polish doesn’t smell and is non toxic and because it chips off I never have to use nail polish remover, which I like. Also the stickers never stay on more than an hour. I'm not sure if I got a fluke pack or what. Based on the reviews I was excited for my daughter to try this, but within 2 hours a significant amount of the polish comes off. Even with my daughter being fairly inactive. I thought maybe I didn't do it well. So I shook them extra good, then tried 3 coats, drying with a hair dryer on a low setting in between, but still the same problem. I understand kid's polish shouldn't last as long as regular polish, but it's useless if it comes off the second the kid touches something.Amy28
You must use blow dryer after a few layers, you must use top coat (the whitish colour in the bottle -they have another product that is clear not that one, but you need the top coat). The top coat makes all the streaks go away. Of course blow dry after applying top coat. On kids it lasts a few days depending on how active they are and how much they let u blow dry . On adults without any chips 2 3 days, and then small chips. The only con is that its hard to take off after 3 days. I used reg nail polish remover and alcohol was more effective . Lotsa elbow grease and at the end I used the electic nail mani set to buff /file off the color. Obviously doesn’t last super long. I really love the vibrant colour. It looks great when applied and is also easy to apply. It has lasted quite well on my toenails. Unfortunately on fingernails it scratches and wears off very quickly – more quickly then ordinary varnishes. I used good nail prep, a base coat, two coats of pure, and a top coat. I have been adding a top coat daily to try to get longer wear. I am on day 5 without any chips. My tips on my dominant hand are worn off but otherwise it is in great shape. It barely shows. It makes my nails look clean versus having a noticeable color. I don't think it's worth the money if you have to use it all right away. I don't have this same issue with other "17 free" polishes so I don't think it has anything to do with how it's stored. I bought this because I’m pregnant and trying to avoid all of the harmful chemicals I can. This polish is free from the 17 harmful chemicals found in all other types of polish, so I wasn’t expecting it to work very well. However, this might be the best nail polish I’ve ever used! It glides on perfectly, I only needed one coat, it dries fairly quickly and I didn’t notice a single chip until about a week later. I love that this OPI Nature Strong nail polish is vegan, naturally derived, and uses recycled materials for the container! I was a little bit skeptical at first but OPI is a great quality brand so I was happy to try the two colors. The light peachy polish went on a little streaky but I was able to do 3 coats and it looked fine. The pink one was fine. Both applied smoothly and dried pretty quickly, which I was very happy with. I used a base coat and top coat, expecting some chipping to happen pretty quickly as I get with most polishes, but surprisingly I went nearly 6 days with no chips! And the chip I did get was very small. Super durable despite gardening, doing dishes, etc. I'm excited to buy other colors! This is definitely my fave nail polish and is better than other brands I have tried. I really like the message behind this line of nail polishes. I try to be more eco conscious with my purchases so I feel really good about buying this line vs. other nail polishes. I recently got the opportunity to try two of OPI's new Nature Strong nail polish. This polish claims it's vegan, made with 75% natural GMO-free ingredients and 20% recycled plastic. I did not realize nail polish wasn't naturally vegan, but read that some of the pigments and thickening agents can come from animal sources! Naturally I was hesitant about a "natural" nail polish, but as per usual OPI continues to impress. I used Knowledge is Flower on most of my nails, a beautiful pink/light mauve polish. This color is classic, would look good with most skin tones and went on flawlessly and smooth! I could've gotten away with one coat, but I added a second to cover up some spots I missed. I did an accent nail of A Clay in the Life, which is an ivory nude color. This one seemed a little thinner, as some nudes do, and took two coats for mostly full coverage, but could've used a third. I'm naturally fair skinned with neutral undertones and thought A Clay in the Life worked well on me, but was a little disappointed by the coverage in 2 coats. The formula on both is smooth, consistent and dried as quickly as normal OPI polish. I would happily purchase more colors of this environmentally conscious nail polish and recommend it to friends! OPI claims this polish is long lasting with up to 7 days of wear. I wore both colors with Duri Rejuvacote as a base coat and Seche Vite on top (which kind of defeats the purpose of natural nail polish!) and I started to get a few small chips on my pointer fingers by day 3. This is pretty typical for me with regular nail polish, so not off putting. I love OPI polish and will definitely try more colors from this Nature Strong line.Whitney1

I used this nail polish for the first time three days ago and I couldn't be happier with the result! For years I have had acrylic nails and have recently stopped because I don't have time to go and get them done with my new baby, so I decided to invest in some new nail polish and boy am I glad I did! I used the JINsoon Power Coat Strengthening Base Coat, followed by 2 coats of the Essie Light Lilac, then the JINsoon Top Gloss Quick Dry Top Coat, and finished off with the Essie Quick-e Drying Drops Nail Polish Treatment and my nail look AMAZING! They actually look like I've got shellac on. And what's even more amazing, they dried SUPER fast! It took me maybe 10-15 minutes to do the application, and then I let dry for maybe 20-30 minutes and they were completely set. I was able to get dinner ready and do the dishes straight away with no denting or smudging! This is a game changer! I'm now on day three and they still look as good as day 1! I was sick of the colours you would get from OPI or the drugstore that just felt a bit too childish – I love pink and purple but I don’t need my nails to look like a kids bedroom wall. I bought this for my daughter Jessica, she absolutely loves it! It is (for some uncertain reason) very difficult to find vegan and cruelty free white nail polish out of all of the colors offered, (even harder to find the most non-toxic version), so I was pleased to buy this knowing it is the safest out there and is also from a small, local business. The consistency of this is nicely done, not too thin while not too thick, very unlike some of the other nail polish we’ve owned. I am always thrilled to find a new, ecologically conscientious and vegan product and this is one is new to me because I only found it recently after trying several other vegan and hypoallergenic nail polishes. As ecologically conscientious is quite often synonymous with hypoallergenic because the basis of both philosophies is to exclude agitating toxic chemicals I am assured the Karma nail polish will not cause my highly sensitive skin any unnecessary agitation while providing me with a mind soothing manicure to realign my mood and psyche without any ill effects on the environment. As hypoallergenic nail treatment goes Karma is putting out pretty colors which did live up to my expectations, causing no allergic reaction whatsoever which assures me that they are high quality and earth friendly because I have had many serious and minor allergic reactions to the overwhelming majority of beauty products but Karma caused no allergic reaction whatsoever to date. I hope Karma will continue to put out additional varieties of hypoallergenic, non-agitating vegan nail polish and although I do not like any face make up more of these hypoallergenic products for the face such as foundation, blush, eyeliner and mascara would allow my neighbor's child, who likes to do other peoples faces, the opportunity to experiment on me for as long as I have the patience to sit through her detailed attention. The other vegan nail polish I have tried is equal in value to this and I would recommend all the vegan nail polish brands with equal confidence, including Karma, Pacifica and Mineral Fusion. They all last just as long as regular nail polish, have higher quality top coats because they are nonirritating, and a beautiful array of both playful and traditional colors. First off, the item I was given to try seems to be different from the item I'm left to review on here. Pictures of the actual product have been provided. Anywho, mine is a gold cream product that dries fast and actually leaves my nails shiny and cuticles moisturized like it promised! I totally wasn't expecting it to perform well, but I'm glad it did. The fast drying made it convenient for me to do my homework on my laptop. It peels off easily too. It has a fresh, floral, almost powder-like smell, but it's light and not overwhelming at all. The sponge tip allows for the cream to be buffed out which I liked because the alternative would've been to use my fingertips which would've made a mess. My cuticles have been dry and my gel nail polish on my thumb has gotten dinged up so it's lost a lot of its shine. After taking off the mask, my cuticles are moisturized with less cracks. The polish on my nail got some of its shine back without ruining the polish too which I'm stoked about. I recommend this product to touch up your cuticles and old polish. It makes for a fun little bonus to your spa day! I never knew nail masks existed, but I'm glad to know now through this free product to test.
This review is for Sally Hansen Revive Peel off Nail Mask. I’ve never used a nail mask before. The smell is a lovely coconut scent similar to the Colourpop SOL body highlighters. It smells like a coconutty sun screen and summer goodness. The applicator is very nice as well, it reminds me of Charlotte Tilbury highlighter/contour products that come out of a spongey applicator tip. The product itself is even shimmery gold like a beautiful facial cosmetic product would be, but this is just for your finger tips and nails! I do my nails entirely at home these days, and sometimes my cuticles give it away. I noticed they looked a lot more calm, flush against my fingertips/nails, like healthy hydrated cuticles should look. The only complaints: I don’t think my sample contains the hyaluronic acid it boasts elsewhere (I’ve read and reread the ingredients list of the product I was sent and compared it to the ingredients list online), and mine wouldn’t peel off very easily. The instructions say to apply a “small amount” and “thin layer” to each nail/finger tip/cuticle, but that’s too subjective. I applied too thin and it wouldn’t peel off my nail. I got better results from applying enough product to reach the gold pigmentation of the product’s opacity, then it peeled off easier. Either way, you can just rinse it off, too. I rarely write reviews but I have to say this is my absolute new favorite nail polish! I thought that it being natural would result in less durability but I was a soap wrong. Regular nail polish lasts me about a week at the most. With the Sally Hansen natural mail strengthener underneath, two coats of this polish and a quick-drying top coat from another brand, this has lasted a week and a half now and doesn’t show any sign of chipping. I just found this brand. I have tons of other polishes but through the years I've developed a sensitivity to wearing them because of the chemicals in them. So seeing this "natural" brand I decided to try it. I love these! I threw out all my old polishes. These are gentle on the skin, last a long time, and I use the avocado polish remover which is also gentle (not cheap though). The colors are saturated and don't streak – and the selection of colors is so nice. I've bought five colors so far and QVC thanks for the free shipping on them. I got the color Shooting Stars, a dark blue with glitter. Nail polish ALWAYS chips on me, usually the same day I apply it. This nail polish lasted 5 days before chipping!!!! Amazing! My nails feel stronger, which is a huge plus because I used after removing my acrylic nails. It is way worth the price and now I need the entire collection. The only con is that there is a limited selection in store, the rest can be found on their website. I got three colors: Trust the Process, Kissin in the Rain, and When the Night Falls. I don’t think it can be applied alone perfectly. To have nice finish, a base coat and a top coat are necessary. This nail polish’s finish is not gloss enough. It is very easy to be removed without leaving stain (one big reason I avoid nail polishes for a long time) and i can even peel it off. It also doesn’t smells as strong as OPI. The brush is okay. I think it is a bit thick to apply my nails. I think I’ll get a thin flat brush next time I go to Ulta. It did chip a little bit after 3 days, but I assume it is because of my beginner skill.roseline.w

I was looking for a black nail polish and came across this brand online. I had never heard of the brand before, but I liked the colors, so I decided to order one on a whim. I ordered the color, Black Knight. It's black with a tiny bit of iridescent shimmer. I applied the nail polish as soon as I got it and I must say I am very pleased with the results. The polish goes on so evenly in just 3 or 4 strokes. It stays in place, it doesn't drip off the side of my nails. There is absolutely no odor, which is amazing! It dries quickly and looks great. I also love that it's cruelty free and doesn't contain any phthalates or parabens. I'm very pleased with this nail polish and I will definitely be ordering some of the other colors. I found this when looking for pregnancy friendly polish. Pleasantly surprised by how long this polish lasted. I used it together with the primer and top coat system. Put it to the test of household cleaning, gardening and lots of handy work for a week. It lasted a full week. Highly recommend it! This, for me, is the most perfect shade of cherry red but it chips horribly and is super clumpy now that I'm halfway through the bottle. The brush is cut at an angle which makes self-manicure easier. It also stains your fingernails. At $18 a bottle the polish should not stain but this one does. I will say, it does seem to last on my toes. I love this color SO much and might repurchase now that it's half off, but yah. You MUST use basecoat with this very expensive polish and even then it will not last. Also, I'm sad about having to chuck half the unused bottle. My only solace is in knowing how much money I have saved from avoiding the salon. Great color, great name, lackluster performance.EP

I’ve been on a mission trying to find the color nail polish that Selena Gomez wore to her premiere of her documentary, which her nail artist said was sunset yellow. I looked in store at some of the nail polishes that magazines were recommending but none of the yellows had the orange tint that her color had. This is the closest color I found, and love it! I’d say is a pretty close dupe on my medium skin tone. I also noticed that it changes hue depending on the lighting. It is watery and required about 3/4 coats for the tip of my nail not to show through. The glitter is barely noticeable, even in the sun, which I do not mind at all. It is an expensive nail polish but it’s the color I was looking for so I went for it, would not have paid this much money otherwise. It does dry quickly, in my opinion. I did not have to wait long for it to dry before applying the next coat. I am amazed that I did not see bedsheet marks on my nail polish when I woke up the next morning.Mw

I haven’t gotten any new nail polishes in awhile, so I was excited to grab these shades from the Essie Expressie Gamer Collection. I received cash back from Influenster and Essie for trying this product and sharing my honest review. I bought Virtual Velocity (a shimmery lavender shade) and Don’t Glitch Get Better (a deep shimmery fuchsia pink). Let me start with the things I was disappointed by… I loved the color of this polish initially, but the “shimmer” was more of a chunky silver glitter. It was reminiscent of those cheap nail polishes you’d get as a kid from the dollar store. Very “My First Nail Polish” vibes. Not my style personally, but if you love an obnoxiously chunky glitter that isn’t really integrated into the color of the polish, this color may be for you. As for the drying time, it was only slightly faster than my usual polishes. So I wasn’t supremely impressed with that, even though that’s the main claim to fame for the Expressie polishes. Now, for the pros,… The consistency of this nail polish was perfect. Not too goopy or thick, but not watery thin either. It was easy to paint my nails with a light coat every time. More importantly, I absolutely LOVED the angled brush! It made getting a clean line on every nail effortless, whether I was using my dominant hand or not. I would buy many more Essie polishes if this was their standard brush shape!!! Overall, I wasn’t a fan of this collection but I would consider buying more Essie Expressie polishes if the angled brush became the expected brush shape for every bottle.kat.j

This was my first time trying Essie and I am extremely impressed. It's quick dry in about a minute meaning I can do right before bed and it's not wrecked in the morning. I was also impressed with my application because normally I 'colour outside the lines' lol. But it wasn't me- it's their first ever angled brush that makes applying with your non-dominant hand a breeze. It also has amazing staying power- one coat lasted over 10 days. This vegan formula is made without formaldehyde, toluene and a bunch of other chemicals or animal derived ingredients. My only very small complaint is that you need 2-3 coats or you can see through to your nails but since it's quick dry, it's not really a big deal. I especially like this because it doesn’t turn my natural nails yellow. Nice wide brush.easy to apply. Dries quickly and stays on my nails at least 3-4 days without chipping. When it does start chipping it is minimal and really doesn’t look that bad until about 7-8 days out. My favorite color is the frosted amethyst-just tried love you lotus which looked terrible on me. I'm increasingly sensitive to fragrance, and was looking for a hardener or clear polish that had less odor and is free of the key toxic chemicals). I'm so happy to have found this hardener. The product is great – it applies easily, dries fast, and lasts a long time (even through my multi-day kitchen "deep cleaning" project). Water is usually the enemy for my nails, but this stood strong. The brush is perfectly shaped for easy application, and even the brush handle is easy to hold with my non-dominant hand. And the odor is lower than other products (including Sally Hansen's Hard as Wraps, my previous favorite). The smell is a little strong at first, but dries down quickly. I bought this product because it is plant based. I really was not expecting to perform long term as it is plant based. I bought the two pack, color and top coat at Walgreens, as there was a promotion. I have actually had this product for about two years and wanted to use a spring color, 180 Soft Plum. Wowza! It dried so fast and holds up better than many of the other high-cost products I have used. I cook and garden a lot and it just started to wear on the tips after about 1 1/2 weeks. Wow! Wow and wow!
