If I could give this lamp more stars I would. Im currently doing my nails at home, specially with everything going on with corona virus. My manicurist uses CND products only for manicures. I bought a less expensive lamp when I decided to start doing my nails at home. It has been a struggle to find the right timing for a proper cure. I decided since the CND lamp was on sale to bite the bullet and get it. I love it. It cures just like at the shop and you don't have to even think about how long to do steps. I should have gotten it in the first place, would have saved me frustration and time. Love it. Do it right the first time and save yourself time and even money in the endannette e.
Bought this lamp in replacement for the old style. Because the old ones plugged in on the bottom the cord got ripped out.
Not a fan of the new model. It was expensive like the ones before but it is cheaply made. Feels very light and awkward to move. The base coat doesn't cure in 10sec like the old one. (Yes I use all CND products.). You cannot see through the back of this one which was a nice feature on the old one. Also clients are not sure how far to insert their hand because there isn’t a finger placement guide like the old one.

I’ve been doing gelly-ish tips and trying to hold down the tip on one hand with the other while trying to maneuver my nail into the lamp was an absolute disaster so I got this lamp purely out of necessity and girl am I glad I did!!! It makes it so much easier to hold the tip down and insert my nail into the lamp. I use it to flash cure even just gel polish or builder in a bottle. I am so happy with this nail lamp, it came well packaged, and with good instructions but really not even needed it is so easy to figure out. lightweight , plug in (not battery operated)- and no heat up time, it is ready to use once you plug in, buttons are so simple to use. to begin, plug it in.. polish, and cure the following timers are available 30 seconds 60 seconds 99 seconds low heat mode What a breeze. thank God for this awesome machine.Judyc1230

The actual nail dryer works great. I had no issues with it drying my nail polish because I followed the proper steps according to the polish I bought. It is important to know that different polishes have different instructions. My biggest issue with the lamp was that it had a mini USB port in the back for it to plug into an electrical source. The port was not secured hardly at all, and after moving it from my desk to my bedside vanity, it popped out! My brother works on electronics and tried to repair it and said that it was barely fastened with the circuit board and could not be repaired. So if you buy it, don't move it! I only got to use it once. I hope these nails do last three weeks cause it's gonna be a while till they get done again!MissArtTeach
When I started lash extensions, I figured it wouldn't hurt to try and save some money by trying this out. I LOVE my gel polishes but didn't want to keep spending the money on them as I was adding to my beauty routine and budget. I picked up clearance polishes at Sally's and bought this online for under $15. I love it so much! and my only regret is not buying two. Here's why I love it….. *USB Power supply….good for taking on trips. in a pinch, I've plugged into a power bank. * It's motion sensor-ed so even if it's on my lap, if I want to go another round just a quick lift of the lamp or slide of the hand gets that light going again. * Minimal heat….I don't feel like i'm roasting under there as I've experienced in some salons. Some tips for newbies: *Go easy on the coats – 2 or 3 will go a long way. Make sure you're not laying it on thick either. *Clean your nails before application. *Polish and cure the tips of your nails to help prevent peeling. * Don't try to squeeze your thumb in there. Cure it separately.***also why I wish I would have just gotten two lamps * When you're done just take a cotton ball with alcohol/acetone to wipe the sticky layer off. I've used both and haven't noticed a difference. If you're really picky about your cuticles and can't do those yourself, just pop into your local salon for a quick $15 mani with clear coat and finish the polish at home. I've also had them do a color I didn't have and cured a clear coat at home over it to make it last a little longer. Lastly, if your nails are brittle, I strongly recommend ordering Neocell Super Collagen+C (60 mg Vit C, 5K mcg Biotin, and 6K mcg Collagen type 1&3) vitamins from Sams..$17.88 for 360 pills/60 day supply. I only take half the daily dosage (makes my bottle last 120 days) and have noticed an improvement in my skin, hair and nails. Lamp works great! I want to speak to some of the things noted in the negative reviews. Timer/Blinking: The lamp is motion sensitive, so it blinks if it's not on a flat surface and you move your fingers from under it. It's convenient that you don't have to push a button to turn it on like other lamps! Other than that, it only blinks to let you know 30 seconds have passed. If you keep your fingers under it after the initial 30 seconds, it does an auto shut off after 30 more seconds. Perfect! Different Model: It's not the same model in the picture & there was no coupon for polish in my box, BUT it's a superior model, so no complaints here. Cleansing/Curing: You don't need to cure multiple times. If it feels sticky it's probably because you need to remove the final tacky layer. You don't need cleanser wipes to remove the tacky layer. You can wipe your nails with rubbing alcohol. (Just like they do at the nail shop!)Gina
