I appreciate seeing larger companies like Revlon make beauty products a bit safer when it comes to the ingredients they use. The Ultra HD Snap Nail Polish is a vegan formula that claims users only need one coat. I did find this to be true and since painting my nails isn’t often something I spend time on, I appreciated this user friendly aspect of the polish. The color certainly has a snap to it and upon first using it, it seemed a bit too bright for me. Once it dried however, I found myself liking it. The other colors in the line are perfect for spring and summer so I may purchase a few others. I coated my Revlon polish with Essie’s Always Transparent from their expressie line which dries quickly and is also vegan. I then added a drop of Olive June’s Dry Drops to seal the polish. Overall, I enjoyed this nail polish and recommend it for anyone looking for an option that doesn’t require as much of a time investment as others.lauren.d

The nail polish itself is easy to use it’s a thicker formula so it doesn’t seem to move around once u coat the nail. I love that it’s a vegan formula and quick drying as it says. I love the shape of the brush it is perfect. I’m not the biggest fan of the cap it’s chunky and I don’t feel I get a good grip with it like the standard nail polish cap. I wasn’t a fan of the color I received it was a very light warm tone brown. I feel like this color would flatter medium-dark skin much better as a perfect nude. Overall I enjoyed the experience of doing my nails with this polish since revlon is not cruelty free I don’t think I will be picking up more shades but I would if they were cruelty free! First I want to start off by saying I LOVE the color I have an olive skin tone and this berry shade is beautiful and I think it would look great on any skin tones. I loved that I could swipe one time and you did not need another layer it is not opaque at all, but actually very pigmented and thicker than other nail formulas I’ve used. I used the nail kale base coat from Nails Inc. London (love this brand for gel like nails) then topped it with this revlon nail polish. I love using that base coat because it makes my nails look like gel without gel. I did do, two layers although I could’ve just done one, and then topped it with the clear Essie brand top coat. I did my ring finger with a different nails inc color, and that one has not chipped but within a day all of my revlon ones have chipped so this is not a long lasting nail polish at all. If that is your style then you may love this, but I don’t. I actually prefer the dashing diva sticker nails more than painting my nails because it’s easier, cuter designs, and less time. It is $8 which I feel is a reasonable price for nail polish and you can tell it’ll last a long time. It definitely quick dried! That was something I did like. It still had that strong nail polish smell though. It hasn’t damaged my nails and my nails do look glossy, and it has a really rich color so that’s nice. They have a wide arrange of colors up to 24 I think anyone could find a shade they’d like. I'm not a "fuss over my nails" person, but I like them to look nice. I tried Zoya because it was less toxic. I thought it wouldn't be as tough as other polishes, but boy was I wrong. I used this nail polish for the first time three days ago and I couldn't be happier with the result! For years I have had acrylic nails and have recently stopped because I don't have time to go and get them done with my new baby, so I decided to invest in some new nail polish and boy am I glad I did! I used the JINsoon Power Coat Strengthening Base Coat, followed by 2 coats of the Essie Light Lilac, then the JINsoon Top Gloss Quick Dry Top Coat, and finished off with the Essie Quick-e Drying Drops Nail Polish Treatment and my nail look AMAZING! They actually look like I've got shellac on. And what's even more amazing, they dried SUPER fast! It took me maybe 10-15 minutes to do the application, and then I let dry for maybe 20-30 minutes and they were completely set. I was able to get dinner ready and do the dishes straight away with no denting or smudging! This is a game changer! I'm now on day three and they still look as good as day 1! I was sick of the colours you would get from OPI or the drugstore that just felt a bit too childish – I love pink and purple but I don’t need my nails to look like a kids bedroom wall. This nail polish is what I’ve been looking for! Subtle and creamy this just looks expensive on and is definitely for that ballerina off duty aesthetic everyone’s into atm. I usually redo my nails weekly – this nail polish last for that time. It does chip after that but I don’t use a base or top coat. Oops.Top coats are important for manicures because they give a finish, harden nails, and sometimes can help even out brushstrokes for a better looking manicure.I applied one coat on top of my base coat and color which was easy and smooth to apply. The product dried much quicker then I thought it would in which I timed it at approximately 3 minutes. A little bit goes a long way and one dip in the bottle was almost enough to cover one hand. I really liked the finish, it added a little bit of shine but nothing too crazy or blinding. It was just perfect. Over all the topcoat is important to seal and protect your manicure and I think it does a fantastic job of that. I only did one hand with the topcoat and that hand was less prone to chipping and breaking. The hand without the topcoat only lasted two days before I received a chip on the hand with the topcoat lasted four. The hand with the topcoat only has one finger nail chipped and it happened right after I did the dishes. All the other 4 nails still look incredible. On the hand without the top coat all 5 nails are chipped. When it came time to take off the nail polish I had no issues and everything came off easily and painless with nail polish remover and a paper towel. Overall a top coat IS important in a nice manicure and this one is a fantastic option I had less streaks and chips when using the top coat and my manicure looked amazingAnonymous

I purchased Clay Canyon about 5 years ago and it became my favorite nailpolish . A beautiful clay color with a rosy/pink undertone. When I had to toss it I was so bummed but knew I’d repurchase. Repurchase I did – but sadly not until a few weeks ago. Same brand, same color. But it is NOT the same. I figured in that time it must’ve seen a reformulation. It is thick and a very streaky application. It dries very flat and matte (it looked cheap). But the weirdest part – it is not the same color. Clay Canyon is now much more beige with orange undertones – not nearly as pretty. So if you’re looking for a basic beige color with terrible application, this is sadly now it.JoyFull

The product dried quick 3 mins and one dip in the bottle was enough to cover one hand. It applied evenly and was more thick then thin but was the perfect consistency.I used the product on only one hand combined with the color coat and top coat and on my other hand I only applied color. The hand with the base coat lasted 2 days longer then the hand without and chipping, when it did occur, was much less noticeable The hand with the base coat also had more even color distribution and far less streaks. It also came off super easy with nail polish remover and a paper towel The fact that this product contains no Formaldehyde is also a big seller for meOverall a top coat IS important in a nice manicure and this one is a fantastic option I had less streaks and chips when using the base coat and my manicure looked amazingAnonymous

Well, I wanted to like this. The name is cheeky and fun, but it really didn't stand up to the test. The first coat dried quickly, but the coverage was quite poor (that's not unusual). When I applied the second coat a while later that took considerably longer to dry (definitely not Dry AF…which, when you think about it, probably shouldn't be dry at all…but let's not think about it). About 3 hours after applying the second coat I went to bed and woke up with sheet imprints in the polish. The second coat didn't cover that well either, but it was good enough for quick glances. I think this polish, because it was a classic white, would be great under nail decals, or as an accent nail too. The description says it should last 5 days. I found that it began to chip by day 2. I would wear this again as part of an accessory to a specific outfit or a specific look I was trying to compliment, and not use it with hopes of it being flawless or comparable to a regular manicure. This is a fun color that's hard to find, and I did enjoy seeing it on my fingers.CHGOKB

I’ve tried everything, Essie, OPI, Sally Hansen, you name it I’ve tried it. I always smudge or chip my toes within a couple of hours or days…. but this stuff is seriously THE BEST. I bought it at the dollar store on a whim, because I needed to fix my toes before I went somewhere, and I’ll never use anything else. Like seriously even if I go get a pedicure I’m going to bring this polish with me because it legit doesn’t chip! Hiya everyone. So I give this nail polish 3.5. But I expected more from it. Pros: this color looks great. Cons: for some reason I had hard time putting it on my nails and it comes up uneven, and when I try to fix it some sections already set in. With price closer to Sally Hansen polish (.50~ cents difference) I would rather go for Sally Hansen. It does dries quickly but not as advertised ( maybe it depends on the coating), but when I try to put thin coat it looks transparent on nail. Also, after removal my nails ended up looking green-ish. Okay, this color is the CUTEST color of them all. This polish is thick and very pigmented rather than the regular essie nail polishes. This one strengthens your nails super well too! I had acrylics for 2 weeks then took them off and my nail beds were thin and very bad (dry/brittle) but after I used this nail polish for a week and after taking the polish off my nails were thicker and also hydrated!! I definitely LOVE this polish and recommend it for anyone who wears acrylics/gel nails a lot!! It's a great treatment to get your nails back in shape. When I took my old nail polish off this week my nails were peeling, which has never happened to me before. I sought out this product after trying 2 different brands “repairing” polish that were pretty terrible. At the store, there were two bottles labeled Minimally Modest but they were noticeably different, even after I shook them. I chose the one that was more pink vs. peach. I applied two coats and it looked pretty at first, but in daylight it’s really streaky. I think the streaks would be filled with three coats but the color would have been too light and opaque for a sheer polish. The formula seems smooth, feels good on my nails, and is long wearing, so I came here looking for another color. I’ll give it one more try and hope for better results.EvaE1izabeth

I had been curious about this product for a while, and when I found it marked down from it's original $10 price tag, I figured I'd give it a go. It's supposed to help dry, brittle nails in a week's time. I'm not sure about that. Essie has never been a brand that performs like a champ for me. It's okay, but I've always had better results from cheaper brands like Sinful Colors or comparable brands (price-wise) like Orly or OPI. Essie has come to be a brand that will get my attention, but I'll be looking at Sinful Colors, Orly and OPI first, and then I'll see what Essie has to offer. I like that this is a base coat that can be worn alone and it's supposed to have brightening pigments, kind of like a BB cream, but for nails. As something akin to a BB cream, it's pretty good. Just one coat and my nails look brighter and a bit healthier. Two coats, and even more so. With the second coat, the pearliness comes out and in some lighting my nails look a bit like the inside of a seashell, for what that's worth. It's subtle, though, so I like it for low-key polish.The contents are faintly lavender with a tiny hint of pearl to them, doing a nice job of concealing yellowing due to wearing nail polish most of the time. It actually makes a better difference on my nails than some other pale/sheer/pearl nail polishes, and it is a much nicer result than some other brands' sheer tinted polishes which I've tried in years past. This is basically what I was hoping for in a sheer, tinted product, so I'm very pleased with it. I don't even care if it strengthens my nails or makes them less brittle (it would be a nice occurrence, however, if it did) but I like that this makes my naked nails look nicer and I can easily apply one coat in a hurry for prettier nails on the fly. (Dry time is okay; it's pretty speedy for a single coat, but a second coat stays a bit tacky for slightly longer than I'd like.) Since it's a basecoat, I know it will at least make my nails somewhat less likely to chip. But for the prettier, brighter nails I get after applying this, I love it enough that I'd consider repurchasing. At full price, no less.darling87

I find this color applied easily after the addition of 8 drops of Revive, even to my brand new bottle. Revive is the key to achieving smooth and even coverage with all the benefits of the Dazzle Dry System. I check my top coat before each mani and pedi and usually add the solvent to it as well. Again, this is an expected step for ensuring the perfect consistency to make this polish last as intended. My mani has been going strong for a solid week, and i'm only planning to change it so I can try another DD color. There are educational videos you can watch to learn this system. I know this soft color will be a staple in my nail polish collection and I'll enjoy it for years to come. I can confidently use the entire bottle with the addition of Revive and cleaning the neck of the bottle with pure acetone to it's sealed completely.Suzanne

This is my second polish to try from Dazzle Dry. I purchased it along with Prima Ballerina and the mini system. I am completely awe struck at how well this polish lasts! I am a pediatric PT so my hands are my tools. They take a lot of abuse- along with constant hand washing /sanitizing they are constantly getting banged up on equipment. Most polish chips within a day or two. If I don’t get chips I get dings and dents. So far not with DD. At First Blush is a very soft white. I love a white mani but find most whites too “harsh” for me. This is perfect if you’re looking for a “softer” white with full coverage. I did need 3 coats and could probably have done another but I tend to do very thin coats- being used to regular acrylic polish which takes forever to dry. I do think there is a learning curve to using DD and this is only my second mani. But I’m here for it! I decided on a whim to do this mani at 10 on a Thurs night and was in bed without fear of sheet marks or smudges by 11.Desiree

Wanna talk about the perfect neutral nail polish?? Essie gel couture in corset is a pure dream. On my particular skin tone which is a light with neutral undertones,,( if that helps??) this polish is the perfect I'm not wearing any polish but yet my nails look absolutely perfect and gorgeous. After using two generous coats it still shows a bit sheer, which in this case is fine with me. I also really appreciate the brush, it's a bit thicker which is easy to pass over your fingertip and about two swipes. Essie corset leans a little bit closer on the nude than the pink side. Which in my opinion means more on the natural nail side instead of the fake pink side. Don't get me wrong I love pink. Although on some days I want to have my nails ,look amazing look without anything on them, but yet there is something on them and they look perfectly healthy, shiny and unstoppable! The polish had a strong smell. This smell (after painting my nails) would eventually disappear in a couple of days. Experience using it: I painted the nails on both hands, using neither a base nor top coat – two thin coats on my left hand, and two thick coats on my right hand. The bristles of the brush fanned out readily, covering my whole nail (and more, for smaller nails) in one fell swoop. Thinner coats dried fairly quickly, while thick coats took forever (45 mins!) to dry. After drying, my left hand had semi-sheer paint (this made the colour look like the pinkish taupe on the website), while my right hand had opaque paint (purplish taupe). The polish was glossy enough to make me skip putting a top coat. The polish lasted for over a week, but the polish on the sides of my nails chipped away within 3-4 days of applying the polish. That said, this only happened to the nails of fingers I use the most; the polish on my ring fingers and pinkies remained completely intact (I'm still waiting for them to show signs of wear). Even while chipping/wearing away, the polish remained perfectly smooth and pearly on my nails. I'm sure that, if I did a better job of applying the polish and used a top coat, the polish would easily last much longer.April

I love this Essie Couture Gel Polish it is one of my new favorites. The application of this gel polish is very precise and very smooth with no streaks. One coat would actually look great but I did two for long lasting wear. I had this polish on for about 2 weeks and it did not chip away. I was very amazed because I’m constantly washing dishes and deep cleaning. (I am a mother of 5) The applicator is the perfect size to get your whole nail without going over the edges and making a mess. This color is beautiful and sheer with a little shimmer. It is very buildable so if you do not like the sheer you can darken it. It dries very quickly and is has a nice shine. This color is very neutral which makes great for all year round looks. The best thing about this gel polish is there is no need for a UV lamp. The formula is substantial. This polish gives you salon quality right at home.Kalarcon93

The top and base coat bottles look identical to their gel polish color bottles except for the fact that the text on the bottle indicates which formula is which. Each bottle has a sticker on top of the cap that says "Base" and "No Wipe Top" so you can easily find them if you store your polishes inside a box. I used a 1 minute cure time with a UV/LED lamp for each layer of base, color, and top coat that was applied. Thin coats are key in getting the polish to last, as is doing the proper prep work to your nails (buffing and cleaning the surface) prior to any application of the formula.The base coat is slightly tacky after curing it, which helps to get the color coat to stick and not shrink. The top coat is a no wipe formula which leaves a smooth surface and a plump and glossy shine. As for the durability, a manicure done with this base and top coat along with an Aimeili color gel lasts for 14 days with minimal wear to the tips and hardly a chip in sight. This is my favorite at home summer color it brings out the melanin in my skin against this bold color making your nails noticeable from a distance or up close. The color is TC11 lime green with normal temp lawn green when cold. I love the transition of the colors because it mesmerizes some people when they notice the color change. I was looking for a black nail polish and came across this brand online. I had never heard of the brand before, but I liked the colors, so I decided to order one on a whim. I ordered the color, Black Knight. It's black with a tiny bit of iridescent shimmer. I applied the nail polish as soon as I got it and I must say I am very pleased with the results. The polish goes on so evenly in just 3 or 4 strokes. It stays in place, it doesn't drip off the side of my nails. There is absolutely no odor, which is amazing! It dries quickly and looks great. I also love that it's cruelty free and doesn't contain any phthalates or parabens. I'm very pleased with this nail polish and I will definitely be ordering some of the other colors. I found this when looking for pregnancy friendly polish. Pleasantly surprised by how long this polish lasted. I used it together with the primer and top coat system. Put it to the test of household cleaning, gardening and lots of handy work for a week. It lasted a full week. Highly recommend it! I'm increasingly sensitive to fragrance, and was looking for a hardener or clear polish that had less odor and is free of the key toxic chemicals). I'm so happy to have found this hardener. The product is great – it applies easily, dries fast, and lasts a long time (even through my multi-day kitchen "deep cleaning" project). Water is usually the enemy for my nails, but this stood strong. The brush is perfectly shaped for easy application, and even the brush handle is easy to hold with my non-dominant hand. I bought this product because it is plant based. I really was not expecting to perform long term as it is plant based. I bought the two pack, color and top coat at Walgreens, as there was a promotion. I have actually had this product for about two years and wanted to use a spring color, 180 Soft Plum. Wowza! I love that this OPI Nature Strong nail polish is vegan, naturally derived, and uses recycled materials for the container! I was a little bit skeptical at first but OPI is a great quality brand so I was happy to try the two colors. The light peachy polish went on a little streaky but I was able to do 3 coats and it looked fine. The pink one was fine. Both applied smoothly and dried pretty quickly, which I was very happy with. I used a base coat and top coat, expecting some chipping to happen pretty quickly as I get with most polishes, but surprisingly I went nearly 6 days with no chips! And the chip I did get was very small. Super durable despite gardening, doing dishes, etc. I'm excited to buy other colors! This is definitely my fave nail polish and is better than other brands I have tried. I really like the message behind this line of nail polishes. I try to be more eco conscious with my purchases so I feel really good about buying this line vs. other nail polishes. I like that the pigment is strong so with one coat if you do it right will cover the whole nail. I only went in with two coats of nail polish but I like that it didn't show any streaks. I recently got the opportunity to try two of OPI's new Nature Strong nail polish. This polish claims it's vegan, made with 75% natural GMO-free ingredients and 20% recycled plastic. I did not realize nail polish wasn't naturally vegan, but read that some of the pigments and thickening agents can come from animal sources! Naturally I was hesitant about a "natural" nail polish, but as per usual OPI continues to impress. I used Knowledge is Flower on most of my nails, a beautiful pink/light mauve polish. This color is classic, would look good with most skin tones and went on flawlessly and smooth! I could've gotten away with one coat, but I added a second to cover up some spots I missed. I did an accent nail of A Clay in the Life, which is an ivory nude color. This one seemed a little thinner, as some nudes do, and took two coats for mostly full coverage, but could've used a third. I'm naturally fair skinned with neutral undertones and thought A Clay in the Life worked well on me, but was a little disappointed by the coverage in 2 coats. The formula on both is smooth, consistent and dried as quickly as normal OPI polish. I would happily purchase more colors of this environmentally conscious nail polish and recommend it to friends! OPI claims this polish is long lasting with up to 7 days of wear. I wore both colors with Duri Rejuvacote as a base coat and Seche Vite on top (which kind of defeats the purpose of natural nail polish!) and I started to get a few small chips on my pointer fingers by day 3. I usually redo my nails weekly – this nail polish last for that time. It does chip after that but I don’t use a base or top coat. It’s better than an OPI in terms of chipping for me! 100% recommend.JL2022

The polish had a strong smell. This smell (after painting my nails) would eventually disappear in a couple of days. Experience using it: I painted the nails on both hands, using neither a base nor top coat – two thin coats on my left hand, and two thick coats on my right hand. The bristles of the brush fanned out readily, covering my whole nail (and more, for smaller nails) in one fell swoop. Thinner coats dried fairly quickly, while thick coats took forever (45 mins!) to dry. After drying, my left hand had semi-sheer paint (this made the colour look like the pinkish taupe on the website), while my right hand had opaque paint (purplish taupe). The polish was glossy enough to make me skip putting a top coat. The polish lasted for over a week, but the polish on the sides of my nails chipped away within 3-4 days of applying the polish. That said, this only happened to the nails of fingers I use the most; the polish on my ring fingers and pinkies remained completely intact (I'm still waiting for them to show signs of wear). Even while chipping/wearing away, the polish remained perfectly smooth and pearly on my nails. I'm sure that, if I did a better job of applying the polish and used a top coat, the polish would easily last much longer.April

Although I love Essie Nail Polish, I will give an honest review for this product. The colour that I got was Jewels and Jacquard. The outcome of the colour is actually prettier than I thought but it is not a colour that I would personally pay for. I prefer colours that my outfit can easily match. I love the brush the Essie gel couture nail polish has; It makes it very easy for me to apply. The Essie gel couture nail polish also dries in no time. If it were not for this colour, I would say that I totally love this Essie gel couture nail polish. Even though the Essie gel couture nail polish is priced on the high end, I cannot wait to try the other colours available.Bella

I received this as a #freeproduct from Top Box to review. I have used this nail polish before and its a great polish to use. It lasts a lot longer than other nail polish brands, so you're not always having to redo your nails. Normally I wouldn't use such a light color, I prefer brighter more bold colors, but this pink was pretty on my finger nails. I do recommend using a primer color under this pink (Gossamer Garments) unless you like the sheerness of light pink. This was a cute color for my toe nails. I did find the brush to be a little big for my nail bed, which would leave a little polish on the side of my toe, but nothing a q-tip and remover can't fix! This nail polish dries quicker than most other brands as well! Overall I love Essie Nail Polish and will continue to purchase their line, I would recommend this brand to friends or family!Jennifer

This review is for Sally Hansen Revive Peel off Nail Mask. I’ve never used a nail mask before. The smell is a lovely coconut scent similar to the Colourpop SOL body highlighters. It smells like a coconutty sun screen and summer goodness. The applicator is very nice as well, it reminds me of Charlotte Tilbury highlighter/contour products that come out of a spongey applicator tip. The product itself is even shimmery gold like a beautiful facial cosmetic product would be, but this is just for your finger tips and nails! I do my nails entirely at home these days, and sometimes my cuticles give it away. I noticed they looked a lot more calm, flush against my fingertips/nails, like healthy hydrated cuticles should look. The only complaints: I don’t think my sample contains the hyaluronic acid it boasts elsewhere (I’ve read and reread the ingredients list of the product I was sent and compared it to the ingredients list online), and mine wouldn’t peel off very easily. The instructions say to apply a “small amount” and “thin layer” to each nail/finger tip/cuticle, but that’s too subjective. I applied too thin and it wouldn’t peel off my nail. I got better results from applying enough product to reach the gold pigmentation of the product’s opacity, then it peeled off easier. Either way, you can just rinse it off, too. I rarely write reviews but I have to say this is my absolute new favorite nail polish! I thought that it being natural would result in less durability but I was a soap wrong. Regular nail polish lasts me about a week at the most. With the Sally Hansen natural mail strengthener underneath, two coats of this polish and a quick-drying top coat from another brand, this has lasted a week and a half now and doesn’t show any sign of chipping. I love this nail polish! And I love the brush as well— the width makes application so very quick and easy! Love love love!!!!In the City

PROS: The color is gorgeous — it's the perfect highlighter yellow without being too green or too obnoxious. No white undies needed AND it doesn't dry matte! And the formula has that plasticized finish, where after it's dry, it doesn't chip. CONS: Upon first application, the formula was smooth and easy to work with. But as I kept painting, the formula just got harder and harder to manipulate. The more you dip in and out, the stickier and gloopier it gets, until you can hardly paint one good stroke without it being so thick that it won't dry or so thin that it drags the previous layer (this is also something I noticed with Synthetic Symphony to a milder degree). This kind of neon polish also requires careful top coating and maintenance. You can see every streak, smudge, and inconsistency. Overall, the painting experience and the aftercare was so laborious that this polish isn't worth it for me. I think you could augment the formula with some thinner and also roll the polish in between each stroke to help with consistency, but that's more work than I would like to put in.Cheny N.

Being a typical Celtic redhead I have very dry skin, hair and nails. My nails in particular break low down across the nail bed, snap off at the corners and flake from the free edge. They get especially dry after I use remover (always acetone-free), no matter which brand I use and I always have to apply nail oil and cuticle serum after removing varnish to prevent further dehydration. I've tried various nail treatments from Orly and other brands over the years, but with limited success. I've also tried not using strengthening treatments at all, and just applying oil and serum, but that hasn't made any long term difference either. When I saw the on-air presentation for this product I jumped at the chance to try it, as it's specifically targeted at dry nails. So….. I applied it for just 5 days Mon – Fri, as I like to wear colour on the weekend. When I removed it to do my manicure, I couldn't believe the difference in my nails: Every flake had been 'resealed', there wasn't a dry patch on my nails and they looked plumper, smoother, pinker and overall much healthier. I've now ordered another duo on waitlist and I'm going to stock up on some Orly breathable nail lacquer, to wear with this treatment.Gwraigcymrobach

The nail polish is nice. applies easily and dries a bit faster than other brands. during the first few hours it'll get scratches or texture until it's 100% set. (it was completely dry when I went to sleep, passed the fingerprint test, but had random scratches the next morning). after it dried it became seemingly indestructible. I work in a warehouse, I use tools and have my hands in machines all day and it didn't chip at all. (I used 3 coats) however i had another shade that chipped and budged just from washing dishes and playing with a one year old. in any other case I'd say its way too expensive to risk getting a shade that has a 50/50 chance of chipping easily, but target has a good return policyM

I used this nail polish for the first time three days ago and I couldn't be happier with the result! For years I have had acrylic nails and have recently stopped because I don't have time to go and get them done with my new baby, so I decided to invest in some new nail polish and boy am I glad I did! I used the JINsoon Power Coat Strengthening Base Coat, followed by 2 coats of the Essie Light Lilac, then the JINsoon Top Gloss Quick Dry Top Coat, and finished off with the Essie Quick-e Drying Drops Nail Polish Treatment and my nail look AMAZING! They actually look like I've got shellac on. And what's even more amazing, they dried SUPER fast! It took me maybe 10-15 minutes to do the application, and then I let dry for maybe 20-30 minutes and they were completely set. I was able to get dinner ready and do the dishes straight away with no denting or smudging! This is a game changer! I'm now on day three and they still look as good as day 1! Essie has great new limited edition fall colors just in time for "swetta weatha" and I'm really feeling them. I have Feelin' Amped, High Voltage Vinyl and Off the Record. My two favorites are Feelin' Amped and High Voltage Vinyl. Feelin' Amped is an intense but unique blue that reminds of a mix between cobalt blue and peacock blue. You only need one coat of polish since the polish covers very well and has a really smooth, shiny finish. This color would also look amazing if you added a mattifying powder to it as well. High Voltage Vinyl is a gorgeous onyx base with gold. I didn't like it very much at first because I was probably still in summer mode, but now that it's fall, this color would go perfectly with a pair of black jeans and a black leather jacket. It's an interesting color since it takes on olive green tint in some lights, but in the sun, you can definitely see the beautiful gold tones. Off the Record is your classic, elegant wine color. It goes well with any outfit and any skin tone…You can't go wrong with a nice merlot color…it's perfect for this season and the next!Lovely1
