My teeth get stained very easily from exposure to chlorinated pool water. Consequently, I've always been a whitening toothpaste kinda guy. That being said, I found that these whitening pens can target areas of staining that a scrub down with a toothbrush and paste just can't. The pen uses a peroxide compound to whiten your teeth which, for me at least, completely hid the staining around the edge of my front teeth over the course of a few days. Full disclosure, I used the pen twice each day to achieve the whitening effect. It may take longer if you spread the usage out over a longer time-frame. As for the abrasiveness of the compound, I have sensitive teeth, but the peroxide didn't bother them in the slightest. The solution doesn't really taste like much to begin with and once you've rinsed out after a use, there is no lingering taste that I could detect. I first ordered this through my dentist. I had molds made of my teeth for the purpose of using this whitening gel. After about 2 years I noticed my teeth not so white anymore so I went ahead and ordered this. This arrived exactly as pictured- in the same container with 2 syringes. This is exactly what I got from my dentist, same size and all. As instructed by my dentist, I used a tiny dot in each mold of each tooth. One syringe lasted me 4 nights. After three nights there was a noticeable difference from using this particular gel from Amazon. My teeth look white again! I purchased this product back in February and wanted to try it before writing this review. The Nonyx Gel has nearly cleared the problem and the nail is returning to its original pink color. The results are amazing. I recommend this product 100 percent. Just keep using it daily and give it time to work.Gary
People need to read the box before trying this. It softens the fungal debris so it can be removed, taking away the food supply for the fungus but it takes time. The key is to get it under the nail as far as possible and then periodically clean out the softened gunk underneath. If you don’t do this it won’t work. So if you want instant gratification then neither this nor any anti fungal will make you happy. But if you follow instructions it will work over time, quicker for some, slower for others depending on the degree of fungal infection. If you’ve let your feet go for awhile it will take longer. So the secret is to be patient. Tip: also put some gel on the pad of a band aid and then wear it wrapped around the nail. Change daily. Will slightly accelerate process.John
I have used Nonyx for the last month or so after trying many different things to combat toenail fungus. None seemed to have much effect but since Nonyx my nails are a lot whiter and growing out looking better. I have several that have been thickened for quite some time and they are still thick, but by keeping them closely trimmed and cleaned out under the nail and apply Nonyx twice a day I can see some improvement. Does not happen overnight but over time I think they are showing improvement. I would suggest that a brush of some kind be included with the Nonyx as I have had to use one I had for another toe nail product to adequately push the product up under the toenails as far as I can. My only concern is that I have read that Nonyx does not get to the real problem – the fungus – but helps with appearance which it does. But we also need something to complete the project and cure the fungus as well.FRANCES K.

Love this stuff! By far the best nail treatment I have used! It doesn’t feel greasy and has a subtle scent that doesn’t permeate everything you touch. When I called, VCS checked with the company and told me they said sheer pink is pink … but I have 2 jars both labeled sheer pink but they are definitely beige. I like this product. I'm too busy with my hands and don't have time for constant manicures and nail repair. This product gives my fingernails a little shine and hardens them. It lasted over a week before I took it off easily with remover and polished again. I ordered the light pink bottle but it is definitely NOT pink at all. With one application it is clear. I purchased the NailTek Nail Recovery Kit after my nails were slightly damaged from using gel nail polish. I used this product for a few weeks and my nails got weaker and more brittle. I could not grow my nails at all and they would break while so short that they hurt. I stopped using this product and switched to Sally Hansen Advanced Hard as Nails Strengthener. My nails are finally growing and looking much healthier. I would not spend the money on this product.Tina
I got this in a whim. My nails have been all ridged and flaking ever since the pandemic started. The hand sanitizer and not getting acrylics anymore combined with age and they just look d awful, it sucked. Polish doesn't last and I tried other similar products that peeled or flakes much more easily. I am a hair dresser snd pretty rough with my hands so it does peel off occasionally but I am super impressed with this product's durability! The main thing I noticed right away is that over the years my nails had become flatter and wider, this product seems to have encouraged them back to their proper arched shape and they are much easier to shape the same same now.Betsy
I did acrylic nails for a couple years and I had the bad habit of peeling them off. I used this and in just a couple weeks they were healed (not back to normal, but more smooth, less painful, and not so weak and thin). Lately I’ve been doing the glue on nails, but I have the same problem where I peel them off every week and a half to two weeks so that I can do a fresh set. After several times ripping off the glued nails, my nails have become so so thin and painful, so I started using this again. Sure enough in just a few days I started noticing a difference. I also appreciate that this kit is relatively inexpensive for what you get end how well it works.

Many have mentioned that sharpening this pencil with a regular pencil sharpener doesn't work. Yes, the lead is soft so it will break off, therefore, it is a pain, but I love the results, so I use an exacto knife to hand carve the pencil to a workable point and I'm having fun doing it. I like to have natural nails, this pencil whitens the underside of the nail and if there is any residue, I use a moistened q-tip to wipe up the edges. Sometimes I use the Orly red tinted polish and then use the pencil, other times, I just leave my nails natural and my nails look clean and tidy! I hope they don't ever stop making this pencil!

I am obsessed with this color. a little bit will chip and I take it all off and redid the whole nail. It lasted a good while before it chipped but it does seem a little prone to easily chip. I fell in love with this color and absolutely had to have it – I love all of the colors in this collection but only bought 4, Synthetic Symphony, Kaleidoscope Eyes, Artificial Orange, and Neon Paradise, and now I'm thinking I need the other colors I didn't originally buy! The formula on these polishes is incredible, they all go on beautifully smooth and shiny. I found Neon Paradise slightly less opaque than the other 3 shades, but not enough to matter or be noticeable to anyone else looking at my nails. All of the shades really are as rich and beautiful as they look in photos. I would say Artificial Orange is even brighter and more neon in real life than in the marketing photos! I also found these wear longer and better than other cremes I own. (I did apply the Quixotic sticky base coat and OPI topcoat with all the shades.) It's a super pretty shade; it's a bit like a BB cream for your nails. A sheer wash that hides the texture and imperfections. I really want to love it, since I'm not particularly good at painting my nails, and this is such a forgiving shade. Unfortunately, you really can't wear this on its own. This turns the tips of my nails clear in splotches– it looks like I just got out of the shower all day. This is especially strange as the effect lasts for a few days after taking it off, and I've never seen a polish do that before. I expect it would be fine on quite short nails, or if you used a white shade for the tips, and didn't mind what they look like for the first day or so after removing the polish.Lily

Even though this is a starter kit, it will last for several uses. The syringes of gel look small but it really doesn't take a lot of it to cover your front teeth. I was slightly worried about using it because I have super sensitive teeth that are not really in the best shape and it mentions that ut may make your teeth sensitive after use. However, it did not make mine any more sensitive than they already are. It has a decent enough taste for what it is unlike some kinds I have used in the past that are horrendous. The mouth trays are a little hard to mold to tour teeth but I have never used that kind before so it may just be me. I did eventually get them molded right though. You just spread a little of the clear gel over your teeth needing whitened with a q-tip and place the tray over your teeth. I started out with 15 minutes the first treatment and I could already tell a slight difference. It also comes with remineralization gel that helps if it makes your teeth sensitive, which I have not used because it didn't bother mine at all. It took about 3 treatments to see a very noticeable difference in my teeth. They are very white and look ten times better than they did. Since I smoke and drink coffee and sodas, mine were pretty stained up! I feel a lot better about my smile after using this whitening treatment on my teeth. It definitely works great!Burroughs
Wow! This stuff really works great! My teeth are a lot whiter than they were and I am now a huge fan of this teeth whitening kit. I will definitely be ordering more in the future. It's very easy to use and I have noticed a tremendous difference after just 6 – 7 uses and I still have over half a syringe of whitener left, so it lasts a long time. I have not used the sensitivity gel at all and have had no sensitivity issues even though I do have a receding gum line that can get sensitive from just brushing my teeth. Simple, fast, and effective are three adjectives that I believe best describe this product. This is my first whitening kit as I have been a long time user of other whitening products. Using the product is simple. Mold the teeth trays with some warmed water first. Apply whitening gel to your teeth next. Finally put the trays in your mouth so the gel doesn't wash off your teeth until the end of treatment time. All of my treatments were twenty minutes in length and I have never felt any increased sensitivity. The product is fast and effective.
