I absolutely hate waiting for polish to dry. We all got stuff ta to you know? This formula dries smooth and clear, and lasts. I wash my hands a lot and polish only lasts 2-3 days before I need a touch up, but it's easy to touch up and color blends smoothly. Best of all, it does dry quickly which is a huge selling point for me because I tend to paint my nails before bed while winding down and watching TV, and never seem to leave enough time for them to dry before I'm ready for bed! It's my own fault. I keep buying Sally Hansen products and 90% of the time, they disappoint me. This one is my biggest mistake. Like other reviewers have said, The Moonstone color looks much more appealing in the bottle. When I paint my nail, it's so thin and barely shows. I have to do three coats just to see anything. Unfortunately, it looks and feels like those cheap nail polishes meant for children. I figured it could be used as a cute top coat since it's so clear, but it goes on clumpy and somehow there's tiny air bubbles? The only positive is that it does dry within 60 seconds. I got this back in June from my local sallys beauty store, to paint my nails before I left for California. Never painted my nails until today. The bottle is not even 3 months old and omg it is horrible. The color is so beautiful but the application was applying like it is was a oldie. Streaks, very splotchy not at all impressed. Even with the double duty polish by sally hansen there is no saving this horrible nail polish. Air bubbles, smears so easily even though I waited 10 minutes to make sure it was dry. It’s possible I got a bad batch, but my experience with this polish was terrible. I got the ‘My Ca-Banana’ colour. The first time I used it, I couldn’t get it to go on my nails evenly at all, it was extremely streaky and formed clumps that wouldn’t smooth out. I kept trying and ended up needing to do three and a half coats to get it opaque. I let each coat dry in front of a fan on high for 10 minutes, and 20 minutes after I had finished, I bumped my toe into the corner of a table and the polish came right off of that nail in one clump. I initially chocked this up to me not having painted my own nails in a very long time and maybe just doing too many coats so I took it all off and tried again.
I did two thin coats, drying for 10 minutes between, over 40 hours ago now and I can /still/ press my fingernail into it and leave an obvious dent. It was tacky up until about 24 hours after applying. Dont bother with this nail polish, any other cheap nail polish would be better.Onyx Cave

Well, I wanted to like this. The name is cheeky and fun, but it really didn't stand up to the test. The first coat dried quickly, but the coverage was quite poor (that's not unusual). When I applied the second coat a while later that took considerably longer to dry (definitely not Dry AF…which, when you think about it, probably shouldn't be dry at all…but let's not think about it). About 3 hours after applying the second coat I went to bed and woke up with sheet imprints in the polish. The second coat didn't cover that well either, but it was good enough for quick glances. I think this polish, because it was a classic white, would be great under nail decals, or as an accent nail too. The description says it should last 5 days. I found that it began to chip by day 2. I would wear this again as part of an accessory to a specific outfit or a specific look I was trying to compliment, and not use it with hopes of it being flawless or comparable to a regular manicure. This is a fun color that's hard to find, and I did enjoy seeing it on my fingers.CHGOKB
I’ve tried everything, Essie, OPI, Sally Hansen, you name it I’ve tried it. I always smudge or chip my toes within a couple of hours or days…. but this stuff is seriously THE BEST. I bought it at the dollar store on a whim, because I needed to fix my toes before I went somewhere, and I’ll never use anything else. Hiya everyone. So I give this nail polish 3.5. But I expected more from it. Pros: this color looks great. Cons: for some reason I had hard time putting it on my nails and it comes up uneven, and when I try to fix it some sections already set in. With price closer to Sally Hansen polish (.50~ cents difference) I would rather go for Sally Hansen. It does dries quickly but not as advertised ( maybe it depends on the coating), but when I try to put thin coat it looks transparent on nail. Also, after removal my nails ended up looking green-ish. It's my own fault. I keep buying Sally Hansen products and 90% of the time, they disappoint me. This one is my biggest mistake. Like other reviewers have said, The Moonstone color looks much more appealing in the bottle. When I paint my nail, it's so thin and barely shows. I have to do three coats just to see anything. Unfortunately, it looks and feels like those cheap nail polishes meant for children. I figured it could be used as a cute top coat since it's so clear, but it goes on clumpy and somehow there's tiny air bubbles? The only positive is that it does dry within 60 seconds. It’s possible I got a bad batch, but my experience with this polish was terrible. I got the ‘My Ca-Banana’ colour. The first time I used it, I couldn’t get it to go on my nails evenly at all, it was extremely streaky and formed clumps that wouldn’t smooth out. I kept trying and ended up needing to do three and a half coats to get it opaque. I let each coat dry in front of a fan on high for 10 minutes, and 20 minutes after I had finished, I bumped my toe into the corner of a table and the polish came right off of that nail in one clump. I initially chocked this up to me not having painted my own nails in a very long time and maybe just doing too many coats so I took it all off and tried again.
I did two thin coats, drying for 10 minutes between, over 40 hours ago now and I can /still/ press my fingernail into it and leave an obvious dent. It was tacky up until about 24 hours after applying. Dont bother with this nail polish, any other cheap nail polish would be better.Onyx Cave

I tried the BLACK 565 POWERSLIDE; stayed on for a week or longer, depending on how often you wash your hands or use clean products without gloves. I found this color at WAL-MART. I bought this on sale, so I'm happy with the value. It definitely dries faster than most regular polishes, but, of course, it doesn't fully set for about a day or so. There is a bit of an unpleasant odour when applying, but that's minor. My major complaint is that they started chipping the day after I applied. They mostly lasted for like 3-4 days with minor chipping (with the addition of a quick-dry top coat, different brand). Took 3 coats for full coverage, so not great opacity, and very thick on the nail. I am very happy with the price, and love the colour Pink Blink! It's just what I've been looking for, and I will continue to wear it.ash30

Ho Ho holy moly! This is an AMAZING polish! Most glitter polishes (which is the version I’m reviewing) smear when you put them on or don’t show up at all. This Deep Sea Diamonds polish shows up and then some! It not only has small glitter but bigger pieces as well which makes it super sparkly! I’m wearing it over a darker color but you can definitely wear this on its own. Two coats is all you need but you can get away with one. This is probably one of my favourite nail polishes. I love the shade of green and the non-goopy application of it. It’s also lasted longer than any of the other expensive polish brands I own (all the ones that promise no chips for two weeks and then they chip next day no matter how careful you are). I’ve gotten a bit less than a week’s wear out of it, but even now it’s only a couple chips on a few fingers, which is to be expected because I’m a mom of young kids, so I am constantly doing something with my hands and washing them. I see other reviewers mentioning how sheer applications are, which is true, but it just means you need a couple extra coats, which honestly isn’t a big deal; I find that most polishes, no matter how much coverage they give you, need additional coats anyways. When I use this polish along with the Miracle Gel top coat, I get a solid week out of the nails before I get any chipping. Usually I only have to repaint them when the nails are growing out too much. Dries quickly, so apply quickly and carefully. This is a great middle ground between regular polish and real gel, meaning it is great for home use. You can get thick coverege that hides your ridges without needing to buff your nails if you do 2 color and 1 top coat. I'm in the process of replacing all my existing polishes with Miracle Gel versions.LH

I was even a little hesitant on the color until I put it on. It’s a fabulous eggshell, off- white color. Perfect for any occasion or no occasion at all. The coverage was good. I did use two coats but I definitely will just use one the next time. It didn’t crack or chip until a few days later, which then I felt it was time to remove anyhow. Great product! This item isn’t perfect but it’s really good if you’re looking for a clean product. This top coat works best with a thin layer of polish. Wait at least 10 minutes for the first layer to dry. (I know it completely defeats the purpose, but continue reading.) Apply the top quick dry coat slowly and in a big glob (that’s how it’ll come out anyway). While I don’t find that it dries quicker than normal, I do find that it works great for longer lasting nail polish. I like some of Ella+Mila’s other products, but this particular one is giving me trouble, and I keep trying it and getting the same result. There are pros and cons. Pros: I like that it is free of seventeen harmful chemicals, including formaldehyde and formaldehyde resin. It’s also cruelty free. The product dries very quickly, which is great. The little bottle is super cute and I love their elephant branding. It’s also made in the USA which is nice because that’s where I’m from and it’s harder these days to find products actually made here. Cons: It’s supposed to be chip resistant, but they don’t mention peel resistant. Everytime I use this within seconds after drying it starts to peel up in little spots. It looks like glue all over the nail polish, and it actually causes the nail polish to peel up, even really good brands that usually stay on even without a base or top coat. It’s clear and nice in the bottle and lasts ages longer than OPI top coats, but it goes on cloudy. It’s just really not very usable, which is disappointing because of all the pros. But when it comes down to the main function it just doesn’t work so I have to give it 2 stars.

I found this quick dry coat from Sally's Beauty Supplies over a year ago I don't do my nails without it (unless I'm doing a gel set). I was switching between 2 others before finding INM I always had problems with chipping, shrinking or my nail polish would literally shrink. I saw this on the bottom shelf with clear coats, hardener the 2 other supposedly fast dry top coats polish I already owned but didn't like. I decided to give INM a try because why not it was under $5. I tried it very shortly after purchasing after the first try I was in love with this quick dry nail topper. Without a UV light it takes a good 15 to 20 mins to dry your fresh polish completely but if yo use a UV light it's dry in 90 seconds! Um talking dry meaning you can actually use your hands like normal. I can't live without this dry top coat when doing my nails or toe nails. To doesn't chip your polish or shrink it. It also doesn't have a ridiculous smell it's very reasonably priced. It only takes 1 coat to fully dry the nails so almost over a year I'm at the bottom of my 1st bottle (but I also do switch between gel polish regular polish). I bought my 2nd bottle when I used over 75% of my first bottle. I'm very surprised that I haven't seen nail bloggers talk about this fast dry top coat before. They seem to never share the very most important things with their followers. I'm glad I shop around for different products or I would have passed this nail gem up without a 2nd thought. The only colors I have ever noticed get left on the brush are very strong super pigmented colors like deep red, dark blues some blacks. Other then those colors I never see any polish on the brush. I am actually very excited about this nail polish since I learned it is free from 21 harmful chemicals. free from animal derived ingredients and made in the USA! Finally a non-toxic nail product I can feel good about. Eternal EtVoil is a classic collection that comes with 3 shades of pale pinks (French Kiss – French – French Chiffon), 1 opaque bright white (Blanco Tiza) and 1 clear. Beautiful colors to wear alone or to create the perfect french manicure. Application was a breeze. I first applied an Eternal Nourishing Base Coat (important in protecting your nails from staining and I believe makes your polish hold up better) followed by one coat of French Kiss and one coat of clear as a top coat. Polish glides on smoothly, had good coverage after one coat (two if you want a more opaque finish), did not streak, and dried quickly. Even though this polish is free from harmful chemicals, it does have the usual polish smell as can be expected. After a week of wear and a refresh top coat, polish is virtually chip free. I picked this polish up at my local supermarket (Martins). Ive used Sinful Colors polishes many times own several different colors finishes, etc. and have used the brand for several years. I must say that I absolutely LOVE this shade!!! (Flushed #2674) I usually dont go for sparkly, metallic, translucent shades, which this I would say falls into that category. However this color is beautiful! The red tone isn't too bright yet its not on the dark side either. Under certain light it almost appears a copper, rusty tone of red. Under the lighting at the supermarket it looked like a metallic red, little lighter than burgundy, with gold sparkle or flake. Im not a fan of polishes with chunky glitter or sparkle thrown into the formula. It doesn't ever seem to apply evenly or smooth. It takes forever to dry also. That is NOT the case with this product! The color is amazing once applied. I always do atleast 2 coats, however only 1 coat WILL still provide great coverage. With or without base coat it applies so smooth. Great formula. Drys very quickly and looks great with or without a top coat. This color pairs well with almost any skin tone. Fair skin to tan or dark skin, looks great. Classy yet fun. And there are so many awesome colors. I love the Smoky Palo Santo. It’s a deep rich charcoal brown. Almost not brown at all. And it has a subtle silver shimmer to it. It says it’s scented, but I don’t smell anything different at all. But I bought it for the color, so I’m fine.Lisaville
Vacation time and taupe are super cute and in that order my favorites! Someone was complaining about the brushes and the paint being too thick. I actually agree it dries out very easily. Usually you hear those little silver balls inside a nail polish but these don’t have it. You should do one coat at a time. Maybe keep the bottle in warm water while using and make sure there is no wind because it does dry quick and the brush isn’t necessarily thick it’s just not very flexible and it doesn’t spread to allow the paint to really “lather” onto the mail. The paint is very drippy though so it doesn’t look dry so I really don’t under the problem. That being said the colors are beautiful and they’re cheap so what the heck! I have light dark skin so these colors look amazing. I’m not trying to sound rude but I look funny in red and recommend that for very lighter skins I always love red on a light hand I can’t rock it. But some darker skins can! I still suggest you try it and return it if you aren’t satisfied as with anything.Shopper

I haven’t gotten any new nail polishes in awhile, so I was excited to grab these shades from the Essie Expressie Gamer Collection. I received cash back from Influenster and Essie for trying this product and sharing my honest review. I bought Virtual Velocity (a shimmery lavender shade) and Don’t Glitch Get Better (a deep shimmery fuchsia pink). Let me start with the things I was disappointed by… I loved the color of this polish initially, but the “shimmer” was more of a chunky silver glitter. It was reminiscent of those cheap nail polishes you’d get as a kid from the dollar store. Very “My First Nail Polish” vibes. Not my style personally, but if you love an obnoxiously chunky glitter that isn’t really integrated into the color of the polish, this color may be for you. As for the drying time, it was only slightly faster than my usual polishes. So I wasn’t supremely impressed with that, even though that’s the main claim to fame for the Expressie polishes. Now, for the pros,… The consistency of this nail polish was perfect. Not too goopy or thick, but not watery thin either. It was easy to paint my nails with a light coat every time. More importantly, I absolutely LOVED the angled brush! It made getting a clean line on every nail effortless, whether I was using my dominant hand or not. I would buy many more Essie polishes if this was their standard brush shape!!! Overall, I wasn’t a fan of this collection but I would consider buying more Essie Expressie polishes if the angled brush became the expected brush shape for every bottle.kat.j
This is some of the best nail polish I've tried, and I do home manis every week. The colors are on point, more unique than other brands which is one thing I love about this brand. This formula dries smooth and clear, and lasts. I wash my hands a lot and polish only lasts 2-3 days before I need a touch up, but it's easy to touch up and color blends smoothly. Best of all, it does dry quickly which is a huge selling point for me because I tend to paint my nails before bed while winding down and watching TV, and never seem to leave enough time for them to dry before I'm ready for bed! Two thin coats of this polish dry completely for me in 10-15 minutes. I love Essie! It's my favorite brand of polish by far.amy

This was my first time trying Essie and I am extremely impressed. It's quick dry in about a minute meaning I can do right before bed and it's not wrecked in the morning. I was also impressed with my application because normally I 'colour outside the lines' lol. But it wasn't me- it's their first ever angled brush that makes applying with your non-dominant hand a breeze. It also has amazing staying power- one coat lasted over 10 days. This vegan formula is made without formaldehyde, toluene and a bunch of other chemicals or animal derived ingredients. My only very small complaint is that you need 2-3 coats or you can see through to your nails but since it's quick dry, it's not really a big deal. I really love the vibrant colour. It looks great when applied and is also easy to apply. It has lasted quite well on my toenails. Unfortunately on fingernails it scratches and wears off very quickly – more quickly then ordinary varnishes. Usually I am not one to spend money on nail polish since I wear them so selectively but figured that I would give this one a shot since the ingredients are wonderful! Really impressed with the quality. Only a bit of sparkle/shine on this particular color and for a 'pleasing peach', it can look like a light pink in different lights instead of orange. So I would compromise with, its a pink orange with light changing abilities 🙂 Still has a slight nail polish smell but better than other products I have used. Great product. Looks good when painted on toenails. I needed 2 coats. I also bought the base and top coats. Gives s lovely shine to painted nails.
